Game Stories: Five Tool Central Kings of the Ozarks Qualifier (Saturday, June 16)

Ozark HS

In Game 1 from Ozark HS, Advanced Baseball 16U Thomas beat MNS Blacksox 17U Hulbert, 10-8. Jake Berger went 2-2 with two runs batted in on his way to player of the game. Also to note, Parker Kindig went 1-2 with three runs batted in and two runs scored.

WT Outlaws 17 beat Ozark Baseball 18U, 2-1, in Game 2 from Ozark HS. Lex Garcia had a dominant performance as he went 6.2 innings striking out 10 batters with four hits and one earned run. He was named player of the game. Also to note, Christian Huey went 3-4 with one run scored.

SW Central 18U beat WT Outlaws 17U, 9-1, in Game 3 from Ozark HS. Cole McBride was player of the game after going a perfect 3-3 with two runs batted in and two runs scored. Also to note, Payton Hannah went 1-1 with one RBI, one run scored and two walks.

In Game 4 from Ozark HS, Kickapoo Baseball 18U beat MNS Blacksox 17U Anderson, 3-2. Matt Bauer II was player of the game after going 2-3.

US Ballpark

In Game 1 from US Ballpark, MNS Blacksox 17U Anderson defeated Sandlot Sox 18U RWrona, 8-1. Tyler McQuinn was 2-3 with two runs batted in and one run scored. He was named player of the game. Pitcher of the game was Mark Adamiak. He threw five innings striking out four batters. Also to note, Sean Roseborough went 1-3 with two runs batted in and one run scored.

Wichita Twins 17U Mears beat Kickapoo Baseball 18U, 4-3, in Game 2 from US Ballpark. Mason Lundgrin went 3-3 with one double, one RBI, and one run scored on his way to player of the game. Pitcher of the game was Cade Becker. He threw 5.1 innings striking out three with one hit allowed.

Sandlot Sox 18U RWrona beat NWA Prospects 16U Stephenson, 5-1, in Game 3 from Ozark HS. Player of the game was Drew Miller who went 2-3 with one double, one triple and two runs batted in. Check out his sweet diving catch in the video embedded below.
