Air Hogs Stadium

Marucci Elite Texas Ryan defeated Frozen Ropes Martin, 5-1, in Game 1 from Air Hogs Stadium. Stone Simmons struck out seven hitters while allowing one hit and one run (zero earned) in six innings of work and was the player of the game. Ryan Hallstrom struck out nine hitters and allowed three hits and two runs (zero earned) in five innings of work.

Action Baseball Jackson defeated Performance Baseball Texas, 11-5, in Game 2 from Air Hogs Stadium. Evan Sparks went 3-3 with one double and two runs batted in and was the player of the game.

Melissa 1

Fort Worth Cats 17U defeated Lone Star Baseball Cummings, 10-2, in Game 1 from Melissa 1. Gavon Clemens went 1-2 with three runs batted in and two walks. Clemons was the player of the game.

Dallas Tigers Steed defeated Fort Worth Cats 17U, 6-4, in Game 2 from Melissa 1. Mason Hunt went 2-2 and drove in two runs en route to being named player of the game.

Melissa 2

OK Instructs White defeated Dallas Tigers Steed, 6-2, in Game 1 from Melissa 2. Jacob Bookout allowed one earned run in four innings of work while striking out three. Bookout was the player of the game.

OK Instructs White defeated Lone Star Baseball LaRue, 6-1, in Game 2 from Melissa 2. Carter Hines went 3-3 with one RBI and one run scored and was the player of the game. Chance Westervelt went 3-3  with one run scored and was the hitter of the game.

Melissa Varsity

OK Fuel 2019 defeated Houston A’s 17U, 15-0, in Game 1 from Melissa Varsity. Jack Hammond went 1-2 with one home run, four runs batted in, and one run scored and was the player of the game. Reid Stockman went 3-3 with two runs batted in.

Arlington A’s 2019 defeated Dallas Mustangs Greer, 5-3, in Game 2 from Melissa Varsity. Kyle Franklin went 2-3 with one double and two runs batted in and was the player of the game.

Rockwall Heath HS

Wichita Twins defeated Texas Stix South, 9-1, in Game 1 from Rockwall Heath HS. David Senn allowed zero earned runs in six innings. Senn only gave up five hits and was the player of the game. Mason Lundgrin went 2-3 with two runs batted in, one walk, and two stolen bases and was the hitter of the game. Ian O’Malley went 1-2 with one RBI, two walks, and two stolen bases. Mason Auer went 1-1 with two runs batted in,  one walk, and one stolen base. Prestyn Hewitt went 2-2.

Marucci Elite Texas Thistlethwaite defeated C3 Futures Worley, 5-2, in Game 2 from Rockwall Heath HS. Kevin Ortiz went 2-3 with two runs batted in and was the player of the game.  Garrett Arredondo struck out four and allowed just two hits and one earned run in six innings of work and was the pitcher of the game. Other notable performers were Ben Greer (2-3 with one double and one stolen base) and Jack Angus (1-2 with one double, one RBI, and one walk).

UTA

Lubbock Raiders and Woodlands Express tied, 0-0, in Game 1 from UTA. Trey Stephens allowed four hits and struck out five in his five scoreless innings worked and was the player of the game. Hayden Frick struck out one and allowed one hit in his two scoreless innings. Dillon Smith struck out two and allowed zero hits in three scoreless innings. Layne Shumpert allowed two hits and struck out four in his three scoreless innings pitched.

Texas Stix Davenport defeated USA Prime Gowins, 6-1, in Game 2 from UTA. Kade Bragg struck out five while allowing just two hits and one run in four innings of work. Bragg touched 89 MPH and was the player of the game. Jacob Speaker pitched three perfect innings. Luke Roden went 2-3 with two runs batted in and Nicolas Balsano went 2-2 with one RBI and one run scored.

USA Mizuno Baseball Thomas defeated Texas Twelve Black 16U, 6-5, in Game 3 from UTA. Jack Granack went 2-2 with two doubles, one RBI, two runs batted in, and one walk and was the player of the game. William McAdams (2-3 with one triple, one RBI, and run) and Olanmacrae Kendrick (allowed one hit and struck out two in three innings of work) had solid games.

Houston A’s 17U defeated Marucci Elite Texas Thistlethwaite, 6-4, in Game 4 from UTA. Gabe Colaianni went 2-3 with one RBI, two runs scored, one walk, and three stolen bases and was the player of the game. Dylan Conde struck out six hitters in six innings of work. He allowed three hits and two earned runs and was the pitcher of the game. Garrett Arredondo went 2-3 with two runs batted in.

Weatherford College

Dallas Tigers Hernandez 17U defeated Elite 5 Baseball, 5-2, in Game 1 from Weatherford College. Hayden Clearman went 2-3 with one double and one walk and was the player of the game.

Academy Select Hayes defeated Lou Collier / DB A’s, 6-3, in Game 2 from Weatherford College. Braley Hollins, an OSU commit, went 2-4 with one home run, two runs batted in, two runs scored, and one stolen base and was the player of the game.

Premier Baseball Futures Nixon/Evans defeated Lobos Baseball Hamilton, 4-3, in Game 3 from Weatherford College. Kameron Peterson struck out four hitters and allowed two runs in 4.2 innings of work and was the player of the game.

NTXBC Dirtbags Woods defeated Marucci Elite Texas Rodriguez, 5-1, in Game 4 from Weatherford College. Nic Thompson went 2-3 with two runs batted in and two runs scored and was the player of the game. Cesar Paz allowed three hits and struck out two hitters in four innings and was the pitcher of the game.
