Thompson hit two doubles and collected two runs batted in. Thompson stole one base. Also to note, Reid Williams struck out six batters in 6.2 innings pitched. Williams allowed four hits and two runs.
In Game 3 from Blanchard High School, Academy Select Baseball 16U – Ingram blanked Sandlot 16U Glad, 14-0. Hudson White earned player of the game after going 2-2 at the plate. White hit one home run and collected four runs batted in. White stole one bas and scored three runs. Austin Green earned pitcher of the game after tallying 12 strikeouts in six innings on the bump. Green allowed only two hits, zero runs, and zero walks. Also to note, Karson Krowka went 3-3 with one home run, one double, and two runs scored. Nathaniel Price went 2-3 with one home run, two runs batted in, and two runs scored.
