Wednesday, August 5

Houston

Premier Field 3

In Game 1 from Premier Field 3, Off Season Baseball topped Marucci Elite Texas, 10-3. Kenny Dutka earned player of the game honors after a stellar performance on the mound. Dutka allowed only three hits and struck out eight in five innings of work. Also to note, Jacob Wilson was 1-3 with three RBI.

In Game 2 from Premier Field 3, Premier Baseball bested Off Season Baseball, 6-1. Kole Tauzin was electric on the mound and took home player of the game. Tauzin allowed only one run and struck out five in five innings of work.

Premier Field 4

In Game 1 from Premier Field 4, Premier Baseball outlasted HP Baseball Ruckert, 5-2. Dontavious Dickey put on an excellent performance at the dish and was named player of the game. Dickey was 2-3 with a double, home run, and two RBI as he led Premier Baseball to victory. Also to note, Diego Longoria was 2-3 with two RBI.

North Texas

Z-Plex Hogan

In Game 1 from Z-Plex Hogan, North Texas Longhorns Boddie bested Dallas Patriots 5-2. Dalton Beck showed out at the dish and was named player of the game. Beck was 3-3 with a double, home run, and three key RBI that were the difference in the ballgame. Zach Saint Pierre earned pitcher of the game after striking out seven in four innings of work. Jordan Yoder was not to be outdone as he allowed only one hit and struck out six in 2.2 innings of work. Also to note, Eric Wimpee was 2-3 with two doubles and an RBI.

Z-Plex Williams

In Game 1 from Z-Plex Williams, Phenom 2020 shutout Impact Baseball Club, 1-0. Chandler David was named player of the game after a lights out performance on the mound. David did not allow a run and surrendered only three hits in a seven inning complete game. David also totaled seven strikeouts on the evening.

In Game 2 from Z-Plex Williams, North Texas Longhorns Boddie toppled Phenom 2020, 6-2. Ethan Bedgood led the way at the plate and was named player of the game. Bedgood was 1-4 with a home run and a whopping five RBI. Also to note, Kyle Mosley was excellent on the mound and earned pitcher of the game honors. Mosley allowed only one run on two hits and racked up seven punchouts in seven innings.

Saturday, August 8 (Tournament of Champions)

Williams Field

In Game 1 from Williams Field, Stix Collegiate blanked NTXBC Dirtbags Collegiate, 10-0. Brett Minnich went off at the plate and was named player of the game. Minnich belted two home runs and racked up five RBI. Also to note, Miguel Santos was 2-3 with a home run and two RBI.

In Game 2 from Williams Field, Team Charlotte outlasted Lynx, 9-8. Ty VanMeter worked in and out of trouble and took home player of the game. Vanmeter racked up 11 strikeouts in 5.1 innings on the mound and also ripped two doubles at the plate. Also to note, Tanner Holliman had a big afternoon at the plate as he racked up five RBI and blasted a key home run.

In Game 3 from Williams Field, NTXBC Dirtbags Collegiate bested Lynx, 7-3. Micah Berens was dominant on the bump and earned player of the game. Berens allowed only two hits and racked up seven strikeouts in four innings of work. Drew Pollum had an impressive afternoon at the plate and was awarded hitter of the game. Pollum was 3-4 with two doubles and an RBI.

In Game 4 from Williams Field, Stix Collegiate outlasted Team Charlotte, 11-9. Izzy Lopez capped off an excellent day at the plate and was named player of the game. Lopez was 2-4 with a massive home run and three RBI. Nicco Cole earned pitcher of the game as he allowed only one hit and struck out four in two innings of work. Also to note, Nick Pierce was 2-3 with a triple and three RBI. Congratulations to Stix Collegiate as they were crowded the victor of the Five Tool College Tournament of Champions!
