2024 Five Tool HS Festival

DALLAS-FORT WORTH — The 2024 Five Tool HS Festial kicks off on Thursday, February 29 and conlcudes on Saturday, March 2. 

A total of 10 teams from out of state will be traveling in to the area: Bixby (OK), Conway (AR), Deer Creek (OK), Edmond Memorial (OK), Kamehameha Kapalama (HI), Magnolia Heights (MS), Mater Dei (CA), Queen Creek (AZ), Santa Margarita (CA), and Westmoore (OK).

There are 16 teams from Texas participating: Allen (TX), Americas (TX), Argyle (TX), Flower Mound Marcus (TX), Frenship (TX), Hebron (TX), Highland Park (TX), Houston Memorial (TX), Lovejoy (TX), McKinney Boyd (TX), Prosper (TX), Prosper Walnut Grove (TX), Rockwall (TX), Rockwall-Heath (TX), Southlake Carroll (TX) and The Woodlands (TX).

Games will take place at 10 DFW area schools, which will help play host to games Thursday-Saturday: Allen HS, Argyle HS, Flower Mound Marcus HS, Highland Park HS, McKinney Boyd HS, Prosper HS, Prosper Walnut Grove HS, Rockwall HS, Rockwall-Heath HS, Southlake Carroll HS.

The Festival now returns for its second season after a highly successful debut in 2023. During the inaugural event, Caden Sorrell of Marcus (TX), now at Texas A&M, was named the Most Valuable Player. Brayden Randle of Rockwall (TX), now at Ole Miss, was named Most Outstanding Offensive player. Stephen Sepulveda of Americas (TX), now at Baylor, was named Most Outstanding Pitcher. Landon Hutcheson of Frenship, a 2024 Blinn College signee, was named Most Outstanding Defensive player. And Van Klein of Marcus (TX), now at Air Force, was named Most Oustanding Catcher.
