Bryton Bertrand (Canes West Texas-Smith)

Bryton Bertrand of Canes West Texas-Smith was impressive collecting eight extra base hits on the weekend at the Five Tool New Mexico Mickey Mantle World Series Qualifier. From West Plains (TX), the lefty went 11-for-16 with four doubles, four triples, 10 runs batted in, 10 runs scored, one walk, and two stolen bases. The uncommitted 2025 has a smooth swing and led his team by driving in runs and putting himself into scoring position. Bertrand also had a quality outing on the bump striking out eight batters in five innings pitched, giving up no hits, no runs, and only two walks.

Sawyer Farr (Dallas Tigers - Bergman) 

Dallas Tigers - Bergman's Sawyer Farr put on a show in the batter's box at the Five Tool Texas AABC Connie Mack World Series Qualifier. The switch hitter went 9-for-23 with four doubles, one home run, four runs batted in, six runs scored, four walks, and four stolen bases. The Texas A&M 2024 signee was effective from both sides of the plate as he was tied for first with the most amount of hits at the tournament. From Boswell (TX), Farr excelled in getting on base to start a rally and for his teammates to drive him in. This dude will be fun to watch throughout the summer.

Trace Mazon (Arlington A's Baseball) 

Trace Mazon of Arlington A's Baseball led the Five Tool Texas AABC Connie Mack World Series Qualifier with a 1.200 slugging percentage on the weekend. The Weatherford College 2023 signee went 9-for-15 with three doubles, two home runs, three runs batted in, eight runs scored, four walks, and four stolen bases. The right-handed hitter from Aledo (TX) showcased his power by having his hands set near his helmet and minimal leg lift to then drive his bat through the ball.

Dalton Yaste (GoJo Baseball Club 18U) 

Dalton Yaste of GoJo Baseball Club led the Five Tool Northern Colorado Wood Bat Shootout in hits and runs batted in this weekend. The right-handed hitter from University (CO) went 8-for-12 with three doubles, one home run, 11 runs batted in, one run scored, and two stolen bases. The uncommitted 2024 also had one of the highest batting averages at the event, showcasing his tremendous run producing ability. Yaste also has a strong arm behind the plate throwing out multiple runners attempting to steal.

David Stanley (HPP Tigers - Bryon) 

David Stanley of HPP Tigers - Bryon led the Five Tool Canada AABC Connie Mack WS Qualifier with 12 runs batted in on the weekend. The right-handed hitter from The Study Academy (ON) went 10-for-18 with three doubles, 10 runs scored, five walks, and one stolen base. Stanley's presence within the batter's box and his ability to drive in and score runs was a big factor in leading his team to win the championship. The uncommitted 2024 showcased tremendous bat-to-ball skills and also displayed good defense for his team playing centerfield.

Greg Prophet (Stacked) 

Stacked's Greg Prophet had one of the highest batting averages on the weekend at the Five Tool California SoCal West WS Qualifier. The right-handed hitter also led the tournament with 10 runs batted in as he would go 9-for-12 with one double, two triples, one home run, four runs scored, two walks, and two stolen bases. The uncommitted 2025 from Cypress (CA) had his hands set high near his helmet and used his leg lift to be on time the pitches thrown his way. This led to Prophet's ability to showcase his power and to produce runs for his team

Gavyn Jones: Marucci Elite - Mayo) 

Gavyn Jones of Marucci Elite - Mayo was overpowering in his start on Tuesday night at the Five Tool Texas AABC Connie Mack World Series Qualifier. The Texas Tech University 2023 signee threw four innings with 10 strikeouts, giving no hits or earned runs. From White Oak (TX), Jones dominated with his fastball-slider combo and the high velocity on his pitches produced late swings throughout his start. The left-handed pitcher located his slider of his fastball well showcasing the quality his secondary pitch possesses. This dude also produced from within the batter's box with some power and by driving in eight runs.

Samuel Lozano (Kraken Baseball Maldonado 2023) 

Kraken Baseball Maldonado 2023's Samuel Lozano was dominant in his start at the Five Tool Texas AABC Connie Mack World Series Qualifier. The Huston-Tillotson University 2023 signee racked up 13 strikeouts in six innings pitched, allowing three hits, one walk, and no runs. The left-handed pitcher from Duncanville (TX) mixed in his off-speeds and breaking balls with his fastball to keep hitters second guessing. The southpaw's ability to change speeds to mess with hitters' timing showcased Lozano's pitchability and effectiveness on the mound.

Gera Delgado (575 Prospects)

575 Prospects' Gera Delgado was impressive across his two appearances during the Five Tool New Mexico Mickey Mantle World Series Qualifier. From Organ Mountain (NM), the righty pitched nine innings striking out 18 batters, while only giving up five hits and two earned runs. The uncommitted 2025 had an average of two strikeouts per innings and was effective by hiding the ball during his motion to keep hitters off balanced. Delgado proved he is a two-way threat by having a great weekend in the batter's box as well.

Christopher Urteaga (Canes West Texas-Smith) 

Christopher Urteaga of Canes West Texas-Smith was excellent in his start during the Five Tool New Mexico Mickey Mantle World Series Qualifier. The right-handed pitcher threw 5.2 innings striking out 12 batters and giving up no runs or walks, while only allowing five hits. From Canyon (TX), the uncommitted 2025 used his fastball and breaking ball to dominate and lead his team to victory. Urteaga also displayed that he has a good bat by going 9-for-18, collecting three total extra base hits and nine runs batted in.

Lincoln Buchanan (Offspeed 2026 - Grey) 

Offspeed 2026 - Grey's Lincoln Buchanan was outstanding in his start at the Five Tool Texas UT Dallas/University of Dallas II. The right-handed pitcher threw six shutout innings striking out 12 batters, while issuing no walks and only one hit. The uncommitted 2026 from Borger (TX) would use his legs to stride far down the mound to then dominate with his fastball to get hitters to swing and miss. Buchanan's efforts would prove decisive in his team's big victory on Saturday.

Jadyn Hernandez (PFA Bakersfield 2025) 

PFA Bakersfield 2025's Jadyn Hernandez was tremendous across his two outings at the Five Tool California SoCal West WS Qualifier. From Centennial (CA), Hernandez threw 8.2 innings striking out 14 batters and giving up no runs, while only allowing four hits and three walks. The uncommitted 2025 worked in parts of the strike zone with his batters to get hitters to swing and miss or produce weak contact. He also had a great weekend at the plate by having nine runs batted in and five total extra base hits. This two way threat will be one to keep an eye on throughout the tournaments this summer.
