Details: This event is for 17U and 18U teams. Pool play games will be played at high school turf fields in Dallas-Fort Worth. The pool winners will advance to the championship round at UTA on Sunday. Four games guaranteed. Social media coverage will be provided by @VToolTexas and @VToolShow.

2 hour, 15 minute time limit for bracket (no ties), 2 hour time limit consolation (can end in ties).
Run rule is 10 after 5 innings.
Home team determined by coin flip EH & DH allowed in elimination games. DH for pitcher only. Teams can opt to bat the lineup in consolation games. In elimination games, all substitutions must be reported to the umpire. Courtesy runner allowed for pitcher and catcher (Must be a sub unless batting the lineup, then the last batted out).
In consolation, in event of a tie, team placement into next round will be based upon runs allowed and runs scored in each team’s previous game. In the event of that being the same, coin flip.
All rules not addressed will follow NFHS. Five Tool will provide two (2) new game balls for each game. teams are to collect baseballs from umpires at completion of the game to use in futures games.
No spikes are allowed on turf fields — molded cleats and turf shoes only. At UTA: Stay in flats until game time. Bat: BBCOR
