Details: Five Tool Texas will conclude the summer season with the inaugural Five Tool World Series event in the Houston area. The event will begin on Wednesday with games played at Baseball USA, Premier Baseball of Texas in Tomball, and Sam Houston State. Four games guaranteed. Social media coverage will be provided by @VToolTexas and @VToolShow.
Ages: 15U, 16U, 17U-18U
Location: Houston, TX
Venue: Baseball USA, Premier Baseball of Texas, SHSU
Bat: BBCOR
Time limit: Pool play – 2:00, Elimination/playoff – 2:15
Extra innings: Pool play – games can end in ties.
Elimination/playoff – If tied at end of regulation or the time limit, one extra inning straight baseball. If still tied, bases loaded with one out to start each half inning.
Final Four Games: Games will be played to a winner in straight baseball in the semifinals and Championship Games.
DH and EH allowed. Teams can only bat 10 until consolation.
