Five Tool Texas 17U Championship

Details: Formerly the Five Tool Finale, this event will feature some of the top 17U teams in the country battling it out at DBU, TCU, UTA, and Weatherford College. Four games guaranteed with the semi-finals and championship to be played on Sunday at UTA. In 2017, 45-plus college coaches and professional scouts were in attendance. Social media coverage will be provided by @VToolTexas and @VToolShow.

Location: Dallas-Fort Worth Venues: Airhogs Stadium, Brewer HS, DBU, Melissa Sports Complex, Rockwall Heath HS, Southwest Christian School, TCU, UTA, Weatherford College

Gate: $5 per day Bat:

BBCOR Rules: High School Federation Rules apply unless otherwise stated below. Players must remain in flats until game time at all venues. Five Tool will provide four new baseballs for each team’s first game and two new baseballs for each game thereafter. There are no spikes allowed at any of the turf fields. Players must wear turf shoes or molded cleats. There are no exceptions. Players will be ejected from the game for wearing spikes on turf fields. There are no sunflower seeds or shelled nuts allowed in any of the dugouts.

Game times: 2:00 or 7 innings

Run rule: 10 after 5 Cages will be available for use at DBU, TCU and Weatherford College. Cages are not available at UTA.
