Game Stories: Five Tool Texas DFW Classic Satellite Series (Sunday, July 12)

Anna HS

In Game 1 from Anna HS, LBC State Leal outlasted Dallas Patriots Sherard 2023, 8-7. Elias Gonzalez was named player of the game after going 2-3 with two key RBI to propel LBC State Leal to victory.

In Game 2 from Anna HS, SA Kings Scout 2023 toppled LBC State Losoya, 10-5. Dillon Lopez was named player of the game after a great afternoon at the plate. Lopez was 2-2 with two triples and three runs scored. Also to note, Johnnie Pardo was 1-2 with a double and two RBI.

In Game 3 from Anna HS, DBAT Elite Chancellor bested Dallas Tigers 16U Hernandez, 6-3. Antonelli Savattere was named player of the game after a great afternoon in the box. Savattere was 3-4 with a double and an RBI. Also to note, Weston Duncan was 2-3 with two doubles and two runs scored.

In Game 4 from Anna HS, USA Prime 16U Lucroy defeated North Texas United, 8-4. Cameron Johnese was named player of the game after a great game all around. Johnese was 2-4 at the dish, scored three times, and stole three bases. Also to note, Aiden Morris tallied a triple, two RBI, and reached via two walks.

Gunter HS

In Game 1 from Gunter HS, USA Prime Chamblee 2023 outmatched Cooperstown Cobras 15U Tinius, 11-2. Joseph Dominguez was named player of the game after a big morning at the dish. Dominguez was 2-4 with a double, triple and three RBI as he led the way for USA Prime.

In Game 2 from Gunter HS, Dallas Tigers 2023 bested Marucci Elite Texas Dallas 15U, 10-3. John Fragano was named player of the game after a good day at the plate. Fragano was 2-2 with a triple and two RBI as he led the way for the Tigers.

In Game 3 from Gunter HS, Texas Desperados Walton defeated USA Prime Cavemen Collins, 7-3. Zane Morgan was named player of the game after a good showing at the plate. Morgan was 2-3 with a double and two RBI

Jesuit HS

In Game 1 from Jesuit HS, USA Prime 16U Bowring blanked LBC State Lindeman, 8-0. Trent McGee was dominant on the mound and was named pitcher of the game. McGee allowed only two hits and struck out seven in five scoreless innings of work. Anthony Giordano was named hitter of the game after going 2-3 with a double and three RBI. Also to note, Carson Garner, Mason Bowring and Juan Cantua all tallied an extra-base hit.

In Game 2 from Jesuit HS, LBC State Thomas defeated DFW Twins 16U Anderson, 11-4. JJ Martinez was named pitcher of the game after striking out two in four innings of work. Sean Pettit earned hitter of the game after going 2-4 with a triple and an RBI. Also to note, Dusty Baker, Marcos Cedillo, Gus Frizzell, and Grant Bible all tacked on two hits.

In Game 3 from Jesuit HS, Prime Cavemen Muñoz 16U outlasted Diamond Prospects Turner, 4-3. Timothy Krueger was named pitcher of the game after a dominant outing on the mound. Krueger allowed two hits and struck out eight in six innings of work. Das Mitchell was named hitter of the game after going 2-2 with a double and two RBI. Jake Ratcliff tacked on two key RBI. Also to note, Diamond Prospects’ Levi Stewart was 1-3 with a double. Mitchell Mamola was 2-2 with a walk.

In Game 4 from Jesuit HS, North Dallas Baseball Academy bested 16U Phenom Texas, 9-7. Stefan Stahl was named pitcher of the game after striking out three in two innings of no-hit baseball. Elijah Dyke was named hitter of the game after a big afternoon at the dish. Dyke was 3-4 with a double and two RBI. Also to note, Tyler Townsend and Thomas Spencer each tallied two hits and two RBI. Ajay Goluguri added a double.

Z-Plex Bishop

In Game 1 from Z-Plex Bishop, Dallas Tigers Felts blanked Frisco Riders, 8-0. Jason Davis was dominant on the mound and was named player of the game. Davis allowed only two hits and struck out seven in five scoreless innings of work. Jaeden Marshall was named hitter of the game after ripping a double and blasting a home run to lead the way for the Tigers. Also to note, Joshua Pinter, Micah Billingsley, Sean Ferris, and Colby Brasuell all tallied two hits on the day.

In Game 2 from Z-Plex Bishop, Pro Source 16U Black outlasted Pro Source 16U Red, 7-6. Kade Ratcliff was named player of the game after his late game heroics. Ratcliff was 3-3 with a triple and blasted a walk off home run. Drew Nagel had a good day at the dish as he was 2-3 with a double and two RBI. Michael Holden continued to swing it well as he added two hits and an RBI. Also to note, Tyler Bogusz ripped a home run and drove in two runs.

In Game 3 from Z-Plex Bishop, Dallas Tigers Felts topped Pro Source 16U Black in the 16U American Division Championship Game, 11-7. Hayden Blackburn was named player of the game after going 2-2 with four RBI. Ethan Jones, Aidan Estrada, and Jason Davis all tallied two hits as they pitched a total team effort in the victory. Garrett Palacio and Kade Ratcliff each tallied two RBI for Pro Source.

In Game 4 from Z-Plex Bishop, SA Kings Scout 2023 beat DFW Jets 6-1 in the 15U Championship Game. Chase Shores was named player of the game as he reached base twice, drove in a run, and scored twice. Also to note, Dillon Lopez, Robbie Vela, and Colin Robson all notched doubles. Johnnie Pardo was 1-2 with two RBI as well.

Z-Plex Hogan

In Game 1 from Z-Plex Hogan, Academy Select Brand blanked USA Prime Tatusko/Parra, 10-0. Dylan Stone was named player of the game after leading Academy Select’s offense. Stone was 2-4 with a double and three RBI. Bryce Farlander impressed on the mound and was named pitcher of the game. Farlander allowed only two hits and struck out nine in five scoreless innings of work.

Z-Plex Judson

In Game 1 from Z-Plex Judson, Stix 2022 Heitz outmatched DFW Twins 16U Williams, 11-1. Owen Proksch was named pitcher of the game after a fantastic outing on the mound. Proksch tossed a five inning no-hitter and struck out nine. Grant Simpson was named hitter of the game after notching a double and three RBI. Christian Smith-Johnson continued to hit the ball well as he was 2-4 with two RBI. Also to note, Andrew Taylor and Landon Weidner were each tallied a double.

In Game 2 from Z-Plex Judson, Elite Baseball Academy Gaines blanked North Texas Longhorns Phillips, 11-0. Garrett Graham was named player of the game after blasting a grand slam and tacking on five RBI. JP Killough was named pitcher of the game after allowing only one hit and striking out six in 4.1 innings of work. Jakob Charles continued a hot weekend at the plate as he went 3-3 with three RBI. Also to note, JT Thompson was 2-3 with two RBI.

In Game 3 from Z-Plex Judson, Stix 2022 Heitz bested Elite Baseball Academy Gaines in the 16U National Division Championship Game, 7-4. Grant Simpson was named player of the game after launching a go ahead grand slam in extra innings. Cooper Schneider was named pitcher of the game after striking out seven in 6.1 innings of work. Landon Weidner continued his great weekend by launching a solo home run. Also to note, Tate Yardley threw well in defeat as he allowed only one hit and struck out four in four innings of work.

In Game 4 from Z-Plex Judson, Dallas Bandits LaRock 16U bested DBAT Embry, 6-4. Tyler Jackson was named player of the game after blasting a key two-run home run. Michael Elrich had a key double and drove in two runs. Also to note, Christopher Collins was 2-2 and scored once.

Z-Plex Williams

In Game 1 from Z-Plex Williams, Dallas Mustangs Holt defeated Dallas Patriots 16U Markee, 8-2. Brock Meador was named player of the game after going 2-3 with two RBI and two stolen bases. Also to note, Johnny Lowe was named pitcher of the game after striking out six in three innings of work.

Zadow Park

In Game 1 from Zadow Park, Dallas Patriots 15U Unger outmatched McKinney Marshals 15U Matusik, 11-2. Owen Stevenson was named player of the game after launching a key home run and driving in three runs. Dasan Harris was named pitcher of the game after a lights out performance on the mound. Harris did not allow a hit and struck out five in five innings of work. Also to note, William Johnson was 2-2 with a double and three stolen bases.

In Game 2 from Zadow Park, DFW Jets toppled Arlington A’s Nationals, 11-1. Manuel Salas was named player of the game after an excellent day at the plate. Salas was 3-3 with a double and four RBI. Wesley Cunningham was named pitcher of the game after striking out six in five innings of work. Also to note, Armani Terlingo-Knipper was 2-3 with a double, three RBI, and two runs scored.

In Game 3 from Zadow Park, Canes Southwest Jenkins 2023  outmatched Tribe Baseball V, 10-4. Gavyn Jones was named player of the game after a fantastic day at the plate. Jones was 2-4 with a key home run and two RBI. Logan Jenkins was named pitcher of the game after striking out four in four innings of work. Also to note, Noah Carter was 3-4 with three RBI and two stolen bases.

In Game 4 from Zadow Park, Arlington A’s Rangers defeated DFW Twins 15U, 5-2. Jackson LeCluyse was named player of the game after a stellar outing on the mound. LeCluyse tossed a complete. game and allowed only two runs while striking out three. Also to note, Dakota Grim was 1-3 with a double and an RBI.
