Game Stories: Five Tool/NTX Tournaments Club Championships (Friday, July 30)

Celina HS

In Game 1 from Celina HS, Marucci Elite Mayo defeated Colorado Rockies Black Scout Team, 6-5. Player of the game was Landon Torres who went 2-3 and drove in four runs. 

In Game 2 from Celina HS, HackShack Missions 18U defeated NTX Elite McCrummen, 5-3. Player of the game was HackShack Missions’ Chris Perez who went 2-4 with five runs batted in and the walk-off home run. Also to note, Luke Wiseman struck out nine over six, Ezekiel Skinner went 2-2 with one home run and Reese Bassinger hit one home run and drove in two runs. 

In Game 3 from Celina HS, NTX Elite McCrummen defeated Colorado Rockies Black Scout Team, 8-2. Player of the game was Hudson Parker who struck out five over four and two-thirds. 

In Game 4 from Celina HS, Texas Sox 15U Sykes defeated Dallas Tigers 15U Cecil, 5-3. Player of the game was Romel Garcia who went 2-3 with one home run and two runs scored. Also to note, Joshua Saenz went 1-2 with one triple and two runs batted in. 

In Game 5 from Celina HS, Dallas Tigers 2024 Cienega defeated Texas Sox 15U Sykes, 11-5. 

Colleyville Heritage HS

In Game 1 from Colleyville Heritage HS, Diamond Prospects 2022 defeated Houston Athletics 17U Black, 3-2. Player of the game was Brennen Campbell struck out six over four. Pitcher of the game was Jameson Ross who struck out six over three. Also to note, Aidan Robles went 2-3 with one double and one triple. Tyler Graf struck out seven over four and one-third. 

In Game 2 from Colleyville Heritage HS, Colorado Rockies Purple Scout Team defeated Dukes Baseball Club, 11-7. Player of the game was Cannon Frost who struck out 13 over four and two-thirds. Frost also hit one double, drove in one run and scored one run. Hitter of the game was Jaxon Gray who went 1-2 with three runs batted in and one run scored. Also to note, Caeden Seale went 2-4 with two runs batted in and one run scored. Mikah Finan went 2-3 with two runs scored. 

In Game 3 from Colleyville Heritage HS, UBC 17U Counts defeated Houston Athletics 17U Black, 6-4. Player of the game was Counts’ Brayden Marshall who went 2-3 with one double, one triple and one RBI. Pitcher of the game was Trevor VanSant who allowed two earned runs over seven. Also to note, Isaiah Guerra went 3-3 and Justin Healer went 2-3 with one double, one RBI and two runs scored.

In Game 4 from Colleyville Heritage HS, Hooks defeated Colorado Rockies Purple Scout Team, 11-3. Player of the game was Patrick Kilgore who went 3-3 with one double, two runs batted in and two runs scored. Hitter of the game was Caleb Lamm who went 3-3 with one double and three runs scored. Also to note, Ryan Wood struck out five over five. Aaron Bain went 2-3 with one double, two runs batted in and one run scored. 

In Game 5 from Colleyville Heritage HS, Hooks blanked McKinney Marshals 17U, 2-0. Player of the game was Caleb Lamm who struck out six over seven scoreless. Hitter of the game was Mason Munz who went 2-2 with one double and two runs batted in. Also to note, Alex Ardemagni struck out four over three scoreless. 

Covenant Christian Academy

In Game 1 from Covenant Christian Academy, Dallas Tigers Myles defeated UBC 17U Counts, 12-8. Player of the game was Clay Payne who went 2-3 with one double, one home run and five runs batted in. Also to note, Nick Gray went 2-2 with one double and three runs batted in. 

In Game 2 from Covenant Christian Academy, Dallas Tigers Myles blanked North Texas Longhorns Coe, 8-0. Player of the game was Aiden Spires who went 2-2 with one double, one home run, two runs batted in, and two runs scored. Pitcher of the game was Peyton Hutson who struck out nine over six. Also to note, Donnie Dycus hit one double, drove in two runs and one run scored. 

In Game 3 from Covenant Christian Academy, McKinney Marshals 17U defeated Texas BA, 8-1. Player of the game was Derrek Behrens who went 2-3 with one double, two runs batted in and one run scored. Hitter of the game was Jimmy Ray who went 3-3 with one double, one RBI and one run scored. Also to note, Arthur Ruff struck out four over three and Cade Crossland hit one home run. 

In Game 4 from Covenant Christian Academy, Texas BA defeated Dukes Baseball Club, 8-4. Player of the game was Texas BA’s Brayden Pasley who went 4-5 with two doubles and two runs scored. Also to note, Jake Koop hit one double, drove in one run and scored one run. Brodie Andrews struck out nine over six and one-third. 

In Game 5 from Covenant Christian Academy, Dallas Tigers Ortegon 16U walked off HackShack 16U, 7- . Player of the game was Irvin Leonard who went 2-3 wtih one double and two runs batted in. Also to note, William Parkhurst hit the walk-off RBI, Jacob Hollingsworth went 3-3 with one double and one RBI and Reed Reyes went 2-3 with one RBI. 

Denton Ryan

In Game 1 from Denton Ryan, Dallas Tigers Jennings defeated NTXBC Dirtbags  2024 Allerheiligen Navy, 8-6. Player of the game was Jake Sparks who went 2-3 with two runs batted in and two runs scored. 

In Game 2 from Denton Ryan, NTXBC Dirtbags 2024 Allerheiligen Navy defeated Texas Sox 15U Smith, 9-3. Player of the game was Vincent Perez who went 2-3 with two runs batted in and one run scored. 

In Game 3 from Denton Ryan, NTXBC Dirtbags 2022 Woods blanked Nationals Elite Showcase, 10-0. Player of the game was Woods’ Will Bush who went 2-2 with one double, one triple, four runs batted in, and one run scored. Pitcher of the game was Hayden Robichaux who struck out seven over three and one-third scoreless.

In Game 4 from Denton Ryan, Triple Play 16U Black Kjos defeated Nationals Elite Showcase, 15-3. Player of the game was Jake Wagoner who went 4-4 with two doubles, two runs batted in, four runs scored, and two stolen bases. 

In Game 5 from Denton Ryan, Dallas Tigers 2022 Cienega/Beavan defeated Triple Play 16U Black Kjos, 2-1. Player of the game was Ryan Honeycutt who went 2-3 with one double and one home run. Pitcher of the game was Carter Shades who struck out four over five. 

Hebron HS

In Game 1 from Hebron HS, Dallas Patriots 15U Valderamma defeated Driven Elite 15U Red, 16-2. Player of the game was Slaton Smith Jr. who went 2-2 with one double, one triple, one RBI, and three runs scored. Pitcher of the game was Brayden Morse who allowed two runs over four. 

In Game 2 from Hebron HS, Dallas Patriots 15U Mucerino defeated Fort Worth Texans 2024 Holcomb, 8-2. Player of the game was Brandon Smith who went 2-3 with one double and one RBI. Pitcher of the game was Jordan Panameno who struck out six over six. 

In Game 3 from Hebron HS, Offseason Baseball 15U defeated Dallas Mustangs Williams, 8-2. Player of the game was Offseason’s Logan Phillips who went 2-3 with one double, one triple and three runs batted in. Phillips also struck out six over five. 

In Game 4 from Hebron HS, Offseason Baseball 15U blanked Canes Southwest 2024 Green, 10-0. Player of the game was Clarke Dillard who went 2-3 with one double and one RBI. Pitcher of the game was Walker Dellenger who struck out seven over five scoreless. 

In Game 5 from Hebron HS, Diamond Prospects 2024 defeated Texas Lions 15U, 10-2. Player of the game was Beau Howard who went 2-3 with one triple and two runs batted in. Pitcher of the game was Preston Paschal who struck out seven over six. 

JES

In Game 1 from JES, Dulins Dodgers Franco defeated Dallas Patriots 15U Clary, 9-6. Player of the game was Brady Miller who went 2-3 with one double, two runs scored and two stolen bases. Pitcher of the game was Colby Thorsen who struck out three over five and one-third scoreless. 

In Game 2 from JES, Dulins Dodgers Franco defeated Braves Baseball 15U, 8-4. Player of the game was Owen Howes who went 2-3 with two doubles, three runs batted in and two runs scored. Howes also threw six innings and allowed one earned run. Also to note, Christopher McDaniel went 3-3 with one run scored. 

In Game 3 from JES, North Texas Longhorns 2024 defeated Dallas Tigers West Duran, 8-4. Player of the game was Cade Dodson who went 2-2 with one double, one RBI and two runs scored. Pitcher of the game was Aiden White who struck out five over five and one-third. Also to note, Evan Laredo hit one home run and drove in two runs. 

In Game 4 from JES, Pro Source 15U Breeding defeated Texas Sox 15U Smith, 10-6. Player of the game was Sam Grimes who went 2-2 with one triple, one home run, three runs batted in and two runs scored. Also to note, Dylan Eubanks went 2-2 with one RBI and one run scored. Bode Collins went 2-3 with two doubles, one RBI and one run scored. 

In Game 5 from JES, Pro Source 15U Breeding defeated Cooperstown Cobras 15U Navy Walcott, 6-5. Player of the game was Sam Grimes who struck out two over three. Hitter of the game was Ethan Beall who drove in two runs and scored one run. 

John Paul II

In Game 1 from John Paul II, UBC 16U Bailey defeated Dallas Mustangs 16U Sharp, 3-2. Player of the game was Blake Julius who struck out seven over six. Hitter of the game was Conan Cassidy who went 2-2 with one double and two runs scored. Also to note, Silas Holser went 2-4 with one triple and one RBI. 

In Game 2 from John Paul II, UBC 16U Tompkins 2023 defeated Canes Southwest Wallace, 13-6. Player of the game was Jett Johnston who went 2-3 with two doubles and two runs batted in. Pitcher of the game was Reid Ross who threw three hitless innings. Also to note, Ben Tyron went 2-2 with one RBI and Lathan Van Ausdall went 3-3 with two runs batted in. 

In Game 3 from John Paul II, USA Prime Blake defeated Dallas Tigers 2024 Cienega, 7-3. Player of the game was Blake’s John Larkin who hit one home run, drove in two runs and scored two runs. 

In Game 4 from John Paul II, Arlington A’s Nationals defeated USA Prime Blake, 13-5. Player of the game was Christopher Mendoza who went 3-3 with one triple and two runs batted in. Pitcher of the game was Roman Cariaga who struck out three over four. Also to note, Christopher Germanos went 3-3 with one double and one RBI. 

In Game 5 from John Paul II, Dallas Patriots defeated Dallas Tigers 2023 Reynolds, 9-5. Player of the game was Uriah Walters who went 3-3 with one double, one home run, four runs batted in, and two runs scored. Pitcher of the game was Luke Davidson who struck out three over three and one-third. Also to note, Ryan Butler went 2-2 with one double, two runs batted in and two stolen bases. Lawrence Lara went 2-2 with two runs batted in and one run scored. 

Lake Dallas

In Game 1 from Lake Dallas, Texas Cannons 2023 defeated Cooperstown Cobras 16U Navy Kleckner, 6-3. Player of the game was Drew Schmidt who went 2-3 with one double and two runs batted in. 

In Game 2 from Lake Dallas, Texas Cannons 2023 blanked Colorado Rockies Silver Scout Team, 10-0. Player of the game was Reece Wagner who went 2-2 with three runs batted in and one run scored. Also to note, Blayne Pollen struck out five over five. 

In Game 3 from Lake Dallas, Dallas Tigers Ethridge defeated Cooperstown Cobras 16U Navy Kleckner, 8-6.

Player of the game was Peyton Negri who went 2-2 with one double, two runs batted in and one run scored. Also to note, Jordan DeHoyos went 2-2 with one double, two runs batted in and one run scored. 

In Game 4 from Lake Dallas, 817 Sports LLC Patriots defeated Rebels, 9-2. Player of the game was Patriots’ Bryce Page who hit one triple, drove in two runs and scored one run. Hitter of the game was Jason Baker who went 2-3 with two runs batted in. Pitcher of the game was Derek York who struck out seven over five.  

In Game 5 from Lake Dallas, NTXBC Dirtbags 2023 Wiggins defeated Rebels, 7-2. Player of the game was Jackson Davis who struck out five over six. 

LD Bell

In Game 1 from LD Bell, Dallas Tigers 17U L. Hernandez defeated SWAT Academy Rebels Adler/Wimmer, 14-2. Player of the game was Dylan Krause who struck out seven over six. Hitter of the game was Charlie Barker who went 3-5 with one triple, four runs batted in and one run scored. Also to note, Jacob Byrd went 3-5 with one double, two runs batted in and three runs scored. Brady Miller went 2-4 with one double, one RBI and two runs scored. 

In Game 2 from LD Bell, UBC 17U Andrews defeated Dallas Patriots 2022 Stout, 3-2. Player of the game was Andrews’ Jackson Dillingham who went 3-3 with one double and one run scored. Pitcher of the game was Kai Paul who struck out nine over five and one-third. Also to note, Adam Stephenson hit one double and one run scored. 

In Game 3 from LD Bell, Texas Hardball defeated Dallas Patriots 2022 Stout, 4-3. Player of the game was Nate Froemke who went 2-2 with one RBI. Also to note, David Bradley went 2-4 with one run scored and Cole Cravens went 2-3 with one run scored. 

In Game 4 from LD Bell, Dallas Patriots 17U Stout defeated North Texas Longhorns Phillips, 6-1. Player of the game was Oliver Overlin who struck out seven over three and one-third hitless. Hitter of the game was Tate Sloan who went 2-2 with one double and one run scored. 

In Game 5 from LD Bell, Pro Source 15U Patterson defeated NTX Tribe Ronnau, 4-3. Player of the game was Nick Stackenwalt who went 2-3 with one double and one RBI. Pitcher of the game was Hunter Outlaw who allowed two earned runs over seven. Also to note, Jesse Mumford went 2-2 with one RBI. 

Little Elm

In Game 1 from Little Elm, Arlington A’s Yankees defeated DFW Jets Avila, 6-3. Player of the game was Ty Zahradnik who went 2-3 with one RBI. Also to note, Armani Terlingo Knipper went 2-3 with one double and one home run. 

In Game 2 from Little Elm, Marucci Elite Texas Welch defeated Diamond Club 18U, 6-3. Player of the game was Eric Garcia who hit one triple and drove in one run. Also to note, Jace Eslinger hit one double and drove in two runs. 

In Game 3 from Little Elm, Marucci Elite Texas Welch defeated Pro Source 18U Holcombe, 6-1. Player of the game was Andrew Kinkade who allowed one earned run over six. Kinkade also hit one RBI and scored one run. 

In Game 4 from Little Elm, Diamond Club 18U defeated USA Prime Cavemen, 5-1. Player of the game was Diamond Club’s Wyatt Searcey who hit one double and drove in three runs. 

In Game 5 from Little Elm, USA Prime Cavemen defeated Pro Source 18U Holcombe, 7-6. Player of the game was Matthew Stancliff who went 3-3 with one double and one RBI. Also to note, Brendan Taylor hit one home run. 

Marcus HS

In Game 1 from Marcus HS, 15U Gators Holcomb defeated TX Giants Baseball Academy Daniels, 6-3. Player of the game was Holcomb’s Bradyn Rager who went 2-3 with two doubles, two runs batted in and one run scored. Also to note, Scout Steinhilber hit one double, drove in one run and scored one run. 

In Game 2 from Marcus HS, Prime 16U Smith defeated Cooperstown Cobras 16U White Toler, 12-1. Player of the game was Noah Olivera who went 2-4 with one double, one triple, two runs batted in, and two runs scored. Also to note, Alex Elam went 3-4 with one run scored and Madaven Tillery went 3-4 with one RBI and two runs scored. 

In Game 3 from Marcus HS, Cooperstown Cobras 16U White Toler blanked Dallas Patriots 16U Bodine, 19-0. Player of the game was Cade Burk who went 3-4 with two doubles, three runs batted in and two runs scored. Burk also struck out five over four. Also to note, Cyler Moore went 3-4 with three runs batted in and one run scored. Noah Lehrmann went 2-4 with one double, one RBI and two runs scored. 

In Game 4 from Marcus HS, Fort Worth Lobos defeated Prime 16U Smith, 3-2. Player of the game was Tito Perez who struck out four over four and one-third. Pitcher of the game was Raul Barraza who struck out two over two and two-thirds. 

In Game 5 from Marcus HS, Dallas Patriots 16U Bodine defeated Fort Worth Lobos, 3-2. Player of the game was Logan Miller who struck out seven over four. Hitter of the game was Josh Perez who went 3-3 and scored one run. Pitcher of the game was Adam Michaud who allowed one hit over three. 

Rockwall

In Game 1 from Rockwall, North Dallas Baseball Academy blanked Dallas Tigers Micucci, 4-0. Player of the game was North Dallas Baseball Academy’s Caden Varner who struck out seven over five hitless. Hitter of the game was Riely Gildert who went 2-3 with two runs batted in and one run scored. 

In Game 2 from Rockwall, Dallas Tigers Micucci defeated Dallas Mustangs Randle 17U, 6-5. Player of the game was Hayden Flynn who struck out four over four. Also to note, Elijah Hung went 2-3 with one double, two runs batted in and one run scored. 

In Game 3 from Rockwall, North Dallas Baseball Academy defeated Big Red Baseball, 11-5. Player of the game was Thomas Hakimian who struck out five over three. Hitter of the game was Marcus Peters who went 2-4 with one triple and three runs batted in.

In Game 4 from Rockwall, Big Red Baseball defeated Cooperstown Cobras 17U Navy Tredaway, 10-3. Player of the game was Javier Regalado who went 2-3 with three runs batted in. 

In Game 5 from Rockwall, Modoc Baseball defeated Dallas Tigers West Tennery, 9-6. Player of the game was Austin Feldman who went 2-3 with one double, two runs batted in and one run scored. 

Rockwall Heath

In Game 1 from Rockwall Heath, PitchMan Baseball 15U defeated Dallas Tigers Buchanan, 12-6. Player of the game was Kyle Moczygemba who went 2-3 with two doubles, five runs batted in and one run scored. 

In Game 2 from Rockwall Heath, PitchMan Baseball 15U defeated Indios Baseball Diaz, 6-4. Player of the game was Aiden Olivas who hit one double and scored one run. 

In Game 3 from Rockwall Heath, Cooperstown Cobras 18U Tinius blanked Rawlings Tigers Rawlins, 5-0. Player of the game was Tinius’ Max Lankford who struck out nine over six scoreless. 

In Game 4 from Rockwall Heath, Cooperstown Cobras 18U Tinius defeated PitchMan Baseball 18U, 5-1. Player of the game was Jarret Stephens who struck out five over five. Hitter of the game was Xavier Casserilla who went 2-3 with one double, two runs batted in and one run scored. 

In Game 5 from Rockwall Heath, NTX Banditos 18U Robinson defeated PitchMan Baseball 18U, 4-2. Player of the game was Bryson Burt who hit one RBI and scored one run. 

The Colony HS

In Game 1 from The Colony HS, DFW Suns Cardinal defeated NTX Tribe Koerner, 9-8. Player of the game was Parker Hankins who went 2-2 with one RBI and one run scored. Also to note, Logan Abanilla hit one triple, one RBI and two runs scored, Logan Garcia went 3-4 with one double, two runs batted in and two runs scored, Christopher Casillas went 3-3 with one RBI and one run scored and Carson Rose hit one triple and two runs batted in. 

In Game 2 from The Colony HS, Offseason Baseball 16U blanked DFW Suns Cardinal, 10-0. Player of the game was Colin Sloan who went 2-3 with four runs batted in. Also to note, Parker Hankins went 2-2 and Matthew Evans went 2-2 and scored two runs. 

In Game 3 from The Colony HS, Offseason Baseball 16U blanked Texas Lions 16U, 8-0. Player of the game was Jake Haysley hit one triple and drove in one run. Pitcher of the game was Harrison Aquaro who struck out five over three hitless. Also to note, Colin Sloan hit one double, drove in one run and scored two runs. 

In Game 4 from The Colony HS, 16U Gators Rollins defeated Texas Lions 16U, 7-4. Player of the game was Rollins’ Danny Vargas who went 2-3 with one double, two runs batted in and one run scored. Also to note, Joseph Smothers hit one double and scored two runs, Max Carpenter drove in one run and scored one run and Micah Ward drove in two runs.  

Game 5 from The Colony HS resulted in a 1-1 tie between Elite Baseball 16U and USA Prime 16U Cole. Player of the game was Jakob Holzer who struck out 11 over seven. Also to note, Joe Unruh went 2-2 with one RBI, Laif Palmer struck out six over six and Tate Deal went 2-3. 

Trinity HS

Game 1 from Trinity HS resulted in a 5-5 tie between Dallas Tigers Fort Worth 16U Beavan and Arlington A’s Red Sox. Player of the game was Dylan Taylor who hit one triple, drove in two runs and scored one run. Also to note, Aiden Morris went 1-2 with one triple, two runs batted in and one run scored. Corey Rodgers went 2-3 with one double, one RBI and one run scored. 

In Game 2 from Trinity HS, Pro Source 16U Sandmann defeated Fielders Choice Diamond Academy, 12-2. Player of the game was Cole Rager who hit one double, drove in three runs and scored one run. Hitter of the game was Gavin Grisham who went 2-3 with one triple, two runs batted in and one run scored. 

In Game 3 from Trinity HS, Driven Elite 16U blanked Fielders Choice Diamond Academy, 8-0. Player of the game was Logan Wier who went 2-3 with one double, two runs batted in and two runs scored. 

In Game 4 from Trinity HS, Driven Elite 16U defeated SPL Scissortails Red, 9-4. Player of the game was Driven Elite’s Logan Wier who went 2-2 with one triple, drove in two runs and scored two runs. 

In Game 5 from Trinity HS, Cooperstown Cobras 16U Orange Hawthorne blanked SPL Scissortails Red, 2-0. Player of the game was Roger Bean who struck out eight over five scoreless. Also to note, Brennan Mcgee struck out four over two hitless.
