Five Tool Collegiate Game Stories (Monday, July 12)

North Texas

Lake Dallas

Game 1 from Lake Dallas resulted in a 4-4 tie between Dallas Tigers Lawrence and Stix Collegiate Red. Player of the game was Jake Storey who hit one home run and drove in three runs. Also to note, Nick Ellington drove in two runs. 

In Game 2 from Lake Dallas, Dallas Tigers Lawrence defeated Dallas Patriots, 7-3. Player of the game was Dylan Krause who went 2-3 with one triple, one RBI and one run scored. Also to note, Charley Barker went 2-3 with one triple and one run scored. Tanner Reaves went 2-3 with one double, one RBI and one run scored. 

In Game 3 from Lake Dallas, Stix Collegiate Black defeated Texas Oilers Collegiate, 21-4. Players of the game were Stix’s Noah Boughton and Noah Brewer. Boughton went 4-5 with two doubles, one home run, six runs batted in and three runs scored. Brewer went 3-4 with two doubles, one home run, five runs batted in and three runs scored. Pitcher of the game was Daniel Crabtree who struck out eight over four. Also to note, Jayden Morgan went 1-2 with one double and two runs batted in. 

Z-Plex Hogan

In Game 1 from Z-Plex Hogan, Diamond Prospects defeated North Texas Longhorns Boddie, 3-1. Player of the game was Samuel Marquez who struck out seven over six. Also to note, Gabriel Dominguez drove in one run and scored one run. 

In Game 2 from Z-Plex Hogan, 5 Star Performance DFW Black defeated Diamond Prospects, 5-2. Player of the game was 5 Star’s David Jeon who went 2-2 with one home run. Also to note, Cade McGlade struck out five over three. Garrett Belding struck out four over four. 

Z-Plex Williams

In Game 1 from Z-Plex Williams, UBC Collegiate Rose defeated D-BAT, 3-2. Player of the game was Rose’s Josh Hernandez who struck out five over four. Hernandez also hit one double and drove in one run. Hitter of the game was Carson Ozmer who went 3-3 with one double, one RBI and one stolen base. 

Game 2 from Z-Plex Williams resulted in an 8-8 tie between UBC Collegiate Rose and D-BAT. Player of the game was Ben Abeldt who hit one home run, drove in three runs and scored two runs. Pitcher of the game was Carson Ozmer who struck out four over four. Also to note, Connor Linkfield went 2-3 and drove in three runs. 

Premier Baseball of Texas

Premier 3

In Game 1 from Premier 3, BV Renegades defeated Hunter Pence Baseball Academy, 2-1. Player of the game was Daylan Faltysek who struck out five over four hitless. 

In Game 2 from Premier 3, Dynasty Black 2021 Bender defeated Hunter Pence Young Bucks, 7-4. Player of the game was Dynasty’s Riley Bender who went 2-4 with one home run and two runs batted in. 

Premier 4

In Game 1 from Premier 4, Texas Twins Baseball blanked Texas Bandits, 5-0. Player of the game was Twins’ Brandon Symmank who struck out 12 over seven scoreless. Also to note, Saylaion Dunlap hit one home run. 

In Game 2 from Premier 4, BV Renegades defeated Texas Twins Baseball, 8-1. Player of the game was Cameron Dayton who went 2-3 with one home run, three runs batted in and two run scored. Dayton also struck out five over two hitless. Pitcher of the game was Brady Johnson who struck out five over five. 

South Texas

Stony Point

In Game 1 from Stony Point, Cazadores Beisbol Senf defeated Cazadores Beisbol Guerra, 3-1. Player of the game was Carter Poulson who struck out six over four scoreless. Also to note, Senf’s Cash Rugely went 2-2 with one double and one stolen base. 

In Game 2 from Stony Point, Cazadores Beisbol Senf blanked Canes Southwest, 3-0. Player of the game was Mason Donohoe who hit one triple, drove in one run and scored one run. 

Game 3 from Stony Point resulted in a 6-6 tie between Cazadores Beisbol Guerra and Canes Southwest. Player of the game was Chris Lingo who struck out four over three scoreless. Lingo also drove in one run and scored one run. 

Texas Lutheran University

In Game 1 from Texas Lutheran University, TEST Baseball Collegiate defeated Lobos Baseball Collegiate, 8-2. Player of the game was Tyler Viviar who went 2-5 with two runs batted in and one run scored. Also to note, TEST’s Jacob Morin went 2-2 with one double and one RBI. Jakob Wrenn went 1-1 with one double and two runs batted in.
