Do you live and breathe baseball? Looking for a fast-paced environment to simulate the admin, graphics, marketing, operations/social media, scouting/video or writing side in the sports industry? Five Tool Baseball, a summer select baseball showcase event organization for the high school demographic, is seeking interns to join our team.
THESE INTERNSHIPS ARE FOR COLLEGE STUDENTS ONLY
· Create long-form video features for the Five Tool Baseball YouTube Channel
· Shoot your videos on a professional high-definition camera and attached microphone
· Edit your videos on program of choice to create the final piece of content
· Must provide your own technical equipment
· Helping assist in running day-to-day operations of tournaments, leagues
· Updating scores, standings, stats for Five Tool Collegiate League
· Assisting in maintaining brackets, scores and schedules for Five Tool tournaments
· Helping create scoutbooks for tournament use
· Assisting Five Tool Administration staff in other miscellaneous assignments to help maintain and enhance events
· Creating image edits for Five Tool events
· Assisting Five Tool’s graphic team with miscellaneous assignments
· Must have knowledge of Photoshop; knowledge of Adobe Illustrator a plus
· For serious candidates looking to build their portfolios
· Assisting the Director of Marketing and Director of Operations in day-to-day duties
· Creating promotions for Five Tool events
· Managing the website (WordPress) with various updates
· Seeking out marketing deals when needed
· Managing the newsletters

· Attending events to put together video packages on top prospects (specific work on Five Tool’s Instagram pages)
· Writing reports on players who have been filmed
· Must be willing to travel
· Must be up to date with latest technology

· Assisting the social media director in day-to-day duties
· Managing select Five Tool social media platforms daily
· Social media knowledge expected (Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter) and Photoshop skills a plus
· Possibility of creating mini-highlight videos to enhance exposure and build Five Tool’s YouTube platform
· Monitoring regional accounts to ensure proper flow during events

· Writing game stories and including proper media to enhance the article
· Writing stories on prospects throughout events highlighting top “dudes”
· Option to blog about youth baseball
· Photoshop skills a plus, social media posting skills necessary
Texas (Dallas Fort-Worth, Houston, Austin/San Antonio), Midwest (Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska), West (California, Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, Wyoming), Southeast (Louisiana, Arkansas, Tennessee), Pacific Northwest (Oregon, Washington), and work from home positions available
June 1-July 31, 2022 (dates can vary)
· Must have a full understanding of the game of baseball
· Must be currently attending an accredited institution and registered for college credits at this institution during the summer
· Must be in good academic standing, as defined by the academic institution
· Minimum commitment: 3-4 full days of work per week
· Accessible transportation and weekend availability
· Must be a fast learner with ability to pick up new skills quickly
· Must be interested in digital content and/or social media, plus tech-savvy Detail-oriented
