Easton Dudes of the Day (June 2)

Ingram HS (June 2)

Game 1 from Ingram HS ended in a 0-0 tie between GPS Baseball 17U Puffer and San Antonio Marucci Flores. On the mound for GPS, Jimmy Lewis threw five one-hit innings striking out seven with one walk and no runs allowed. Also to note, DJ Ramirez went 2-3 with a double.

San Antonio Marucci Flores beat Scripture Baseball, 5-3, in Game 2 from Ingram HS. Jacob Elizondo had a nice game going 2-3 with one double and two runs batted in. He also swiped two bags. On the mound, Ryan Ward threw six two-hit inning striking out six. He was named pitcher of the game. GPS Baseball 17U Puffer defeated Scripture Baseball, 11-4. For GPS, Kimble Schuessler went 2-3 with one home run, three runs batted in, one run scored and two stolen bases. He was named player of the game. Hitter of the game was Austin Plante who went 3-4 with two doubles, two runs batted in and one run scored.

Kerrville 6 (June 2)

In Game 1 from Kerrville 6, GPS Baseball 15U Fry beat SA Angles 15U Red, 11-3. James McGlumphy was an all-around dude. At the plate, he went 1-2 with two runs batted in. On the mound, McGlumphy threw four innings striking out seven with three hits and no runs allowed. He was named player of the game. Hitter of the game was Caden Crane who went 2-4 with one run batted in and one stolen base. Also to note, Sawyer Scott went 1-3 with one double and two runs batted in.

In Game 2 from Kerrville 6, Dallas Tigers Ethridge defeated, 23-5. Player of the game was Will Bartoszek. He went 1-1 with a grand slam, two walks, and one stolen base. To note, Elijah SanJuan went 2-3 with two runs batted in. Collin Ethridge went 1-2 with one home run, three runs batted in, one walk, and three runs scored. In Game 3 from Kerrville 6, Lobos Baseball 16U Grant beat GPS 16U Montgomery, 8-2. Player of the game was Griffin Johnson who went 3-3 with one double, two runs batted in and one run scored. Pitcher of the game was Logan Parales who threw three innings striking out four with two hits and one earned run. Dallas Tigers Ethridge beat GPS Baseball 15U Fry, 11-0, in Game 4 from Kerrville 6. For the Tigers,  every single out for McCrae Wiest was a strikeout. He went three innings striking out nine with no hits allowed. He was named player of the game. Hitter of the game was Jackson Huber who went 3-3 with three runs batted in, one run scored, and one stolen base. Also to note, Logan Titsworth went 2-3 with one triple, one RBI, one stolen base, and two runs scored.

Lobos Baseball 16U Grant beat SA Angels Blue 15U, 14-5, in Game 5 from Kerrville 6. Player of the game was Chandler Cole who went 2-2 with two runs batted in and one run scored. Also to note, Matt Franco went 1-1 with one RBI, two walks, one stolen base, and three runs scored. Ryan Ruff went 1-2 with a home run, two runs batted in and one run scored.

Kerrville 8 (June 2)

SA Angels Blue 15U beat GPS Baseball 15U Gonzales, 10-0, in Game 1 from Kerrville 8. Wes Campbell went 3-4 with two doubles, two runs batted in and three runs scored on his way to player of the game. Also to note, Nicholas Wilson went 2-3 with two doubles, one RBI and two runs scored. Los Tigres beat D-BAT Elite 15U Villanueva, 6-2, in Game 2 from Kerrville 8. Kyle Roosa had a nice game on the mound going five innings with seven strikeouts. He gave up three hits and one earned run on his way to player of the game. Pitcher of the game was Nelson Klien. He threw two no-hit innings striking out five with one earned run. Also to note, Zachery Mack went 2-3 with two runs batted in and one run scored. In Game 3 from Kerrville 8, D-BAT Elite Villanueva beat GPS Baseball 15U Gonzales, 10-1. Player of the game was Xavier Arias who went 4-4 with two doubles, two triples, five runs batted in, four runs scored and one stolen base. Wow. Adam Johnson had a great game as well going 3-3 with one double and three runs batted in.

Odessa Rage blanked GPS Baseball 16U Montgomery, 7-0, in Game 4 from Kerrville 8. On the mound, Tyler Ramage brought his A-game going all seven innings striking out nine. He gave up just four hits on his way to player of the game. Hitter of the game was Taylor Sullivan. He went 2-3 with three runs batted in. Los Tigres knocked off Futures Athletics Stix, 10-7, in Game 5 from Kerrville 8. Player of the game was Gunnar Brown who threw 2.2 innings striking out five with one run allowed.

Schreiner University (June 2)

Futures Athletics Stix narrowly defeated Odessa Rage, 8-7, in Game 1 from Schreiner University. Caleb Williams was player of the game as he went 2-3 with one double, two runs batted in and one run scored. Hitter of the game was Chase Pell. He went 2-3 with one double and one run batted in WT Outlaws Livingston defeated Oklahoma Ambassadors, 1-0, in Game 2 from Schreiner University. Caden Jackson had a really strong game going seven inning striking out five with three hits and no runs allowed on his way to the victory. He was named player of the game. On the other side, Jace Edelen went 6.2 innings striking out five with no earned runs allowed. Also to note, Jared Perez hit the walk-off single. In Game 3 from Schreiner University, Lobos Baseball 18U Hamilton beat OKC Ambassadors, 6-1. Player of the game was Ashton Ford who went 1-3 with one triple, two runs batted in and one run scored. Pitcher of the game was Juan Isaac. He went 5.2 one-hit innings striking out four batters. Also to note, Julio Riggs went 1-3 with a double and two runs batted in. WT Outlaws blanked Lobos Baseball 18U Hamilton, 9-0, in Game 4 from Schreiner University. Player of the game was Zak Betancourt. He went 2-3 with one double, one triple, one RBI, and one run scored. Pitcher of the game was Lex Garcia who threw seven innings striking out eight. Also to note, Tyler Williams went 2-3 with three runs scored and Dean Salazar went 2-3.

Ingram HS (June 3)

SA Angels Red 15U beat GPS Baseball Gonzales, 8-2, in Game 1 from Ingram HS. Everrett Meyers threw six inning striking out five on his way to player of the game. Also to note, Tre Martinez made was outstanding at second base. He has a leading catch on a line drive for a double play that was notable. OKC Ambassadors beat Scripture Baseball, 16-6, in Game 2 from Ingram HS. Andrew Mitchell was the player of the game after going 3-4 with two doubles, one triple, three runs batted in, and one run scored. Pitcher of the game was Grant Harrison. He threw three one-hit innings striking out just as many (3). His fastball was 86-88 with a 74-75 curveball. In Game 3 from Ingram HS, OKC Ambassadors beat WT Outlaws, 7-6. Player of the game was Lincoln Lehew. He went 2-3 with a home run and three runs batted in. Andrew Mitchell has his second solid game. He went 2-2 with one double. Also to note, Christian Huey made a great diving catch at shortstop and was solid in the field throughout the game.

Kerrville 6 (June 3)

In Game 1 from Kerrville 6, Odessa Rage beat Dallas Tigers Ethridge, 16-1. Taylor Sullivan had a nice game going 3-3 with one double, three runs batted in and three runs scored. He was named player of the game. Pitcher of the game was Nathan Baca who went five innings striking out just as many (5) with one run allowed. Los Tigres defeated Lobos Baseball 16U Grant, 6-5, in Game 2 from Kerrville 6. Gunnar Brown came in clutch getting the save in one inning of work. He struck out one and was named player of the game. At the plate, Brown went 2-2 with two walks. Hitter of the game was Marco Gutierrez. He went 2-4 with two runs batted in and one run scored.

Dallas Tigers Ethridge defeated Lobos Baseball 16U Grant, 11-1, in Game 3 from Kerrville 6. Player of the game was Jackson Huber. He threw six inning striking out just as many (6). At the plate, Huber went 1-1 with three runs batted in and one run scored. In the 15U/16U Championship Game from Kerrville 6, Los Tigres beat Odessa Rage, 5-4. Player of the game was Connor Lee who threw five innings striking out four on his way to the victory. Hitter of the game was Marco Gutierrez who went 3-4 with two runs batted in and one run scored. Also to note, Isaiah Flores threw seven innings with two earned runs.

Kerrville 8 (June 3)

In Game 1 from Kerrville 8, Futures Athletics Stix beat GPS Baseball 16U Montgomery, 7-4. Jason Schneider went 2-2 with two runs batted in and two runs scored. Jake Reed went 2-2 with two runs scored. Reed was named hitter of the game. Player of the game was Matthew Graham. He went 2-3 with two doubles, two runs batted in and two runs scored. In Game 2 from Kerrville 8, Futures Athletics Stix defeated SA Angels Blue 15U, 5-4. On the mound, Cohen Feser went four two-hit innings striking out seven. He was named pitcher of the game. Caleb Williams went 1-3 with one run scored. He also pitched the last inning striking out two and earning the save. Williams was named player of the game for his performance. SA Angels Blue 15U narrowly defeated GPS Baseball 15U Fry, 8-7, in Game 3 from Kerrville 8. Wes Campbell got it done on the mound and at the plate. He threw 1.2 innings picking up the save. On offense, Campbell went 3-4 with one double, two runs batted in and two runs scored. He was named player of the game. Hitter of the game was Mario Mendoza Jr. He went 4-4 with three runs batted in and one run scored. Also to note, David Jordan went 2-4 with two runs batted in while Gibrant Feliciano went 2-4 with one RBI.

D-BAT Villanueva defeated SA Angels Red 15U, 20-0, in Game 4 from Kerrville 8. Austin Van Pelt went 2-3 with one double, one triple, four runs batted in, and one run scored. On the mound, he threw two one-hit innings striking out six batters. Dorsett was named player of the game. Hitter of the game was Damian Carreon. He went 4-4 with two triples, five runs batted in and four runs scored. Also to note, Xavier Arias went 2-3 with a home run, three runs batted in and two runs scored.

Schreiner University (June 3)

In Game 1 from Schreiner University, WT Outlaws beat GPS Baseball 17U Puffer, 3-0. Player of the game was Connor Archer who threw five two-hit innings striking out nine. Hitter of the game was Austin Plante who went 1-3 with one RBI and one run scored. Also to note, Cole Alexander threw two no-hit innings striking out four. He was 84 MPH from the left side and 83 MPH from the right side as an ambidextrous pitcher. Lobos Baseball 18U Hamilton beat San Antonio Marucci Flores, 7-4, in Game 2 from Schreiner University. Player of the game was Luke Markey who went 3-3 with one double, one triple, two runs batted in and one run scored. Hitter of the game was Daniel Ramos who went 1-3 with two runs batted in. In the 18U Championship Game from Schreiner University, GPS Baseball 17U Puffer beat SA Marucci Flores, 9-7. Noah Thompson went 1-2 with one double, two runs batted in and one run scored. He also stole a bag and was named player of the game. Hitter of the game was Luke Markey who went 2-3 with two doubles, two runs batted in and two runs scored. Pitcher of the game was Zane Lilljedahl who threw two no-hit innings striking out three. Also to note, Riley Becker went 1-3 with two runs batted in, one run scored and one stolen base.

Pitcher of the game was AJ Gunner Briscoe. He threw two no-hit innings striking out two. Also to note, Justin Wardlow went 2-3 with two doubles and one RBI.
