Lonestar National 2024 Sanders’ Elbert Trey Craig formed a formidable 1-2 punch with fellow Dude of the Weekend Matt Scott II in the Pudge Rodriguez World Classic. The uncommitted 2024 from Pantego Christian Academy certainly showed off the hit tool as he collected 12 knocks on the week and really looked to use the entire field. Craig has the ability to hit for both power and average and has a mature approach at the dish. The RHH not only was a threat to do damage at the plate but also swiped five bags on the weekend and came around to score six times. Colorado Rage 16U’s Jake Hernandez was an RBI machine this weekend. Hernandez finished with a 10-16 stat line that included a double, home run, thirteen runs driven in, six runs scored, and a walk. The 2024 uncommitted prospect from Cherokee Trail (CO) has very fluid hands and uses them to keep his body timing in check while the pitch is being delivered. Hernandez loves to pull the ball and does it with authority, but he also flashed the ability to go up the middle with it. On top of that, he showed an impressive arm behind the plate. Hernandez was a massive contributor for the Rage throughout the weekend.

Gameday Angels Diaz’s Ty Large showed impressive tools on both sides of the ball this weekend. At the plate, the 2022 uncommitted product out of Bear Creek (CO) went 10-14 with two doubles, three triples, a homer, eight runs scored, eight runs driven in, and four bags stolen. He also used an impressive arm to throw someone out at the plate from right field. Gameday Angels Diaz’s James Harbison was a double machine and overall monster at the plate this weekend. He ended with a 9-13 stat line that included two doubles, a home run, eight RBI’s, six runs scored, and two walks. Harbison keeps his front foot closer to the plate than his back, which lets him turn on the ball with authority. The 2022 uncommitted stud from Chaparral (CO) was driving the ball all over the place, including over the center fielders head and down the left field line. Impact Baseball Club Worley’s Ricky Morgan was an on base machine this weekend. Morgan ended with a 12-17 stat line that included two doubles, seven runs driven in, five runs, two walks, and a stolen base. The uncommitted left-handed bat out of Northwest (TX) was extremely comfortable at the plate and had an advanced approach every at bat. One Percent Academy Jays’ Jeb Gordon could not stop getting extra bases in this weekend’s event. Gordon went 7-8 and racked up two doubles, two triples, a home run, eight RBI’s, eight runs scored, three walks, and three stolen bags.This 2024 uncommitted stud out of Klein (TX) used a quick toe tap and used his strong build to drive the ball. Dallas Tigers 2026 Cienega/Myles’ Landon Smith produced for his club in a big way this weekend. Smith ended the weekend with a 7-12 stat line, including a double, two triples, a homer, three runs batted in, ten runs, and two walks. The right hander showed an impressive ability to sit back on the ball and slap it the other way. Texas Oilers 14U Nowell’s Dillon Dryman stood out on the diamond this past weekend. Dryman went 8-16 with three doubles, a triple, three RBI’s, six runs, a walk, and two stolen bases. Dryman uses a little bounce in his body to keep his timing in tack as the pitcher winds up, and then uses a long stride paired with quick hands to get hard contact. The 2025 uncommitted prospect out of Sunnyvale (TX) has an impressive frame and his swing will only get more powerful as he continues to play more. Dryman stood out in a big way with the way he was swinging that bat.

Dallas Tigers Ortegon 17U’s Jacob Hollingsworth showed out at the dish this past weekend in the Five Tool South Texas World Series Qualifier. The uncommitted 2023 from Wylie East (TX) picked up six extra base hits in the event and looked to do significant damage each time he stepped to the plate. The RHH has a solid base in the box and really gets into his legs to provide power and pop. NorCal Baseball 2024’s Riley Borges was a tough out at the plate in the Five Tool California NorCal Qualifier. The uncommitted 2024 from Amador Valley (CA) was a nuisance for opposing pitchers as he just finds a way to put the bat on the ball. Stix 2025 Scout’s Jaxon Rickert was a key component to his squad’s run to the championship of the Pudge Rodriguez World Classic. Marucci Elite Texas 2024 Ognoskie’s Braxton Biela was a dominant force during his start this weekend. In seven innings pitched, Biela gave up no runs while striking eleven batters out. Biela sat 80-82 MPH with the fastball and located it well. He paired that fastball with a 65-67 MPH curveball that threw hitters off due to the velocity difference. He commanded both pitches well and was comfortable using them in every count. The 2024 uncommitted right hander out of Friendswood (TX) was on cruise control when he was on that bump.
