In the Five Tool Midwest World Series 15U/16U Championship Game from Bishop McGuinness High School, Sandlot 15U-Wilson outlasted Prodigy 15U, 12-11. Devyn Trujillo earned player of the game after going 3-5 at the plate Trujillo collected two runs batted in and scored two runs. On the mound, Trujillo struck out two batters in two innings pitched while allowing zero earned runs. Also to note, Eric Thompson went 3-3 with one double, one RBI, and one run scored. Gage Dollins went 2-4 with two runs batted in and two runs scored.
In the Five Tool Midwest World Series 17U/18U Championship Game from Bishop McGuinness High School, Elite Combat outlasted OK Instructs 17U Bookout, 6-5. Ryley Cross earned player of the game after going 3-4 at the plate. Cross hit one home run and two doubles. Cross collected one RBI. Also to note, Hayden Key went 3-3 with one double and one run scored. Jacob Bookout went 1-5 with one home run and two runs batted in.
