Texas Twelve Maroon’s Canon Chester formed a formidable 1-2 punch with teammate Conner Weigman this past weekend. The uncommitted RHH from Sinton (TX) 2022 was a force in the middle of the lineup for the Twelve. Chester racked up 15 RBI and five of his ten hits went for extra bases. This dude showed off some serious pull-side power at the plate and will only continue to grow into his frame.

Dulins Dodgers McGarrh’s Easton Carmichael did it all this weekend at the Pudge Rodriguez World Classic. The Oklahoma Sooner commit from Prosper (TX) 2022 impressed at the plate and behind the dish as he was named Most Valuable Catcher. The RHH was an on base machine as he reached base 13 times on the weekend. Carmichael was superb from behind the plate as he threw out three runners on the base paths. Continue to look for this dude to put up big numbers at the plate and be a rock in the field for the Dodgers this summer.

Dynasty Black 2021 Bender’s Riley Bender was an extra base hit machine at the Five Tool Texas Houston Regional this past weekend. An Abilene Christian commit from Kingwood (TX) 2021, the RHH highlighted his speed as he racked up three triples for the Dynasty. Bender has a short, compact swing and drove the ball well to all fields. Look out for this one the rest of the summer and to make some noise with Kingwood next spring.

LBC National Cummings’ Josh Sanchez was excellent at the plate in the Five Tool Show 15U/16U Championships. An uncommitted 2022 from Winston Churchill (TX), the RHH showed off impressive bat control and just has the natural ability to rack up base hits. Sanchez was a threat on the base paths as well, as he racked up four stolen bases and kickstarted LBC National’s offense all weekend long. This dude will continue to impress on the summer showcase circuit in the coming summers. Get on him.

Dallas Tigers Tommy Hernandez’s Nate Humphreys showed off some serious power at the Five Tool Texas North Texas Classic this past weekend. The 2021 Dallas Baptist commit from Midlothian (TX) was rock solid at the top half of the Tigers lineup. The sweet-swinging lefty racked up five extra base hits and 10 RBI and highlighted that he can be a big time producer in any lineup. Watch out for Humphreys in his senior season at Midlothian.

LightsOut 16U Black’s Bennett Angulo showed off some serious speed at the Five Tool South Texas Qualifier. An uncommitted 2022 from Alamo Heights (TX), the RHH proved that he can be a spectacular top of the order guy and set the table for the middle of the lineup. The RHH racked up two inside-the-park home runs and scored a staggering nine times from LightsOut this weekend. Angulo also proved to be a threat on the base paths as he stole two bases. This dude has special speed and will continue to turn heads this summer.

Dulins Dodgers McGarrh’s Adam Eschler was lights out in two appearances on the bump at the Pudge Rodriguez World Classic. An uncommitted RHP from Lovejoy (TX) 2022, this one was a dude on the mound all weekend for the Dodgers. Eschler was named Most Valuable Pictcher and was a key component in the Dodgers championship run. The righty consistently fills up the zone and stays ahead of hitters. This weekend proved Eschler can be a workhorse for any ball club. Get on this one.

Texas Twelve Maroon’s Shane Sdao was dominant on the mound at the Pudge Rodriguez World Classic. The uncommitted LHP from Lake Creek (TX) 2022, used a variety of deceptive motions and tempos to keep hitters off balance. Sdao was instrumental in the Twelve’s run to the final round this weekend. This dude can be a top of the rotation arm that a college club can lean on to go deep into games and fill up the zone consistently.

Next Level 2021’s Anthony Tejada was fantastic on the bump in the Five Tool Texas Houston Regional. The 2020 Navarro Baseball signee from Humble (TX) was absolutely dominant and gave us what was arguably the performance of the weekend. Tejada racked up a staggering 16 strikeouts in six innings of work on Friday night. The RHP flashed a mid 80s fastball but relied on his curveball to put hitters away. Watch for Tejada to make some serious noise at Navarro in the spring.

Next Level 2023’s Bret Deegan was electric on the mound at the Five Tool Texas Regional. The uncommitted 2023 from Klein Oak (TX) has great upside as he showed off a mid 80s fastball and will only continue to grow into his frame over the coming years. The RHP is very athletic and uses an over the top arm slot. Deegan is going to be a force on the mound and will add velocity as he only gets stronger.

The uncommitted 2022 from Memorial (TX) flashed a nice curveball as he kept hitters off balance in a complete game outing. Hammond pounded the strike zone, showcased exceptional command, and highlighted his competitive nature on the bump.

DBAT Elite Wilson’s Seth Foster was superb on the mound at the Five Tool North Texas Classic this past weekend. The 2020 Navarro Baseball signee from Gainesville (TX) flashed a good fastball in his outing and stayed out ahead of hitters on his way to 11 punchouts. The RHP did not allow a hit or run and proved that he can work both sides of the plate with great command. Look for Foster to fill up the zone in the spring at Navarro.

GPS Legends 17U Weikert’s Daniel Patterson was a workhouse this weekend at the Five Tool South Texas Qualifier. The uncommitted 2021 from Cedar Ridge (TX) dominated hitters in two appearances on the rubber. Patterson effectively tunneled his fastball and slider to keep hitters off balance. The RHP showed great strikeout stuff and worked to pound the zone with good command. Patterson will continue to impress this summer and make noise on the showcase circuit.
