Smith tossed 5.2 scoreless innings and added two strikeouts.
In Game 5 from Triple Play Field 3, TRPD shutout Texas Lions San Antonio, 13-0. Peter Dyar had a huge evening at the plate and was named player of the game. Dyar was 3-4 with a home run and four RBI. Also to note, Otto Franz impressed on the mound as he racked up nine strikeouts and allowed only two hits in five scoreless innings of work.

Edwards was 3-3 with two RBI and a stolen base. Jack Lackey tossed a gutsy game on the mound and was named player of the game. Lackey totaled four strikeouts in a seven inning complete game. Also to note, Lackey looked good in the box as he made loud contact in every at bat and ripped a double.
