In Game 1 from DS Sports Park, PB 16U topped Texas Tornados, 9-2. Cutter Smith was named player of the game after doing a little bit of everything. Smith cruised through six innings of work on the mound and he allowed only three hits and one earned run. At the plate, Smith added a hit in a good at bat. Also to note, Chris Castaleja was named hitter of the game after going 2-4 with two RBI and a run scored.
In Game 2 from DS Sports Park, Canes Southwest Wallace 2022 bested Hooks 16U, 14-6. Nolan Koslosky was named player of the game after a huge day at the plate. Koslosky was 3-3 with a double, two RBI, and three runs scored. Ryan Lovell was not to be outdone as he went 2-4 with a triple and earned hitter of the game. Also to note, Hunter Miles was 3-4 with two RBI and two runs scored.
