24 7 Line Drive Dudes of the Day

Old Celina Park

In Game 1 from Old Celina Park, Canes Southwest NTX Stutzman outmatched USA Prime 17U Parra, 12-2. Dayton Tockey was named player of the game after stuffing the stat sheet. Tockey was 2-3 with three RBI, a run, walk, and two stolen bases. Also to note, David Collins was named pitcher of the game after striking out seven in four innings of work.

In Game 2 from Old Celina Park, USA Prime 17U Parra outlasted Tri County Express, 13-8. Nic Bennett was named player of the game after a nice showing at the plate. Bennett was 2-2 with a double and three RBI. Also to note, Justus Lockwood tallied a key triple and two RBI on the afternoon.

In Game 3 from Old Celina Park, Dallas Tigers OK Frazier bested Canes Southwest NTX Stutzman, 9-7. Colin Godfrey impressed at the dish and was named player of the game. Godfrey was 2-3 with a home run, three RBI, two runs scored, and a stolen base. Also to note, Trent Hoover was 2-3 with a double and an RBI.

Weatherford College

In Game 1 from Weatherford College, Dallas Tigers Britton blanked DBAT Elite Warren, 12-0. Cordel Gibson was named player of the game after a nice showing on the hill. Gibson struck out four in four scoreless innings of work as he quieted DBAT Elite’s bats all morning.

In Game 2 from Weatherford College, ZT Elite NTX 17U White and Action 17U Garcia tied, 5-5. Jalen Jones had a nice showing at the plate and was named player of the game. Jones was 2-3 with an RBI.

In Game 3 from Weatherford College, ZT Elite NTX 17U White outlasted No Creek Cowboys, 6-4. Mason Fisher was named player of the game after a big afternoon in the box. Fisher was 2-3 and led the way with three RBI.

In Game 4 from Weatherford College, Stix 2021 Johnston/Moseley defeated Texas Oilers 17U Hamblin/Hancock, 4-3. Thomas Ballinger was named player of the game after his late inning heroics lifted Stix to victory. Ballinger ripped a walk-off three-run double.

In Game 5 from Weatherford College, NTX Elite McCrummen outmatched Action 17U Bollinger, 11-1. Hudson Parker impressed all around and was named player of the game. Parker tallied a double at the plate and also struck out six hitters in five dominant innings of work on the mound.

In Game 6 from Weatherford College, NTX Elite McCrummen topped Slammers Bauer, 9-2. Lane Butler had a big night at the plate and was awarded player of the game honors. Butler was 3-4 with a double and three RBI as he led NTX Elite to victory.

Z-Plex Bishop

In Game 1 from Z-Plex Bishop, WTX Ropes 17U topped Dallas Patriots 2021 Senato, 6-4. Mason Wilson was named player of the game after a big day at the dish. Wilson was 2-2 with two doubles, two runs scored, and a stolen base. EJ Buchanan looked good on the mound and was named pitcher of the game. Buchanan tallied three strikeouts in 1.2 innings of work. Also to note, Joseph Pantoya tacked on a double and two RBI.

In Game 2 from Z-Plex Bishop, Slammers Diz and WTX Ropes 17U tied, 4-4. Harrison Taubert had a great afternoon at the place and was named player of the game. Taubert was 2-3 with a double, triple, and an RBI. Also to note, Caden Cline was named pitcher of the game after striking out two in 5.1 innings of work.

In Game 3 from Z-Plex Bishop, Action 17U Jackson defeated USA Prime Cavemen Watkins, 7-3. McKenley McLaughlin was named player of the game after going 2-2 with a double, two RBI, and two runs scored. Also to note, Cade Haught was 1-1 with a double and three RBI.

In Game 4 from Z-Plex Bishop, Dallas Tigers Nester 17U blanked GPS Legends 17U Weikert, 8-0. Ethan Connell was named player of the game after an excellent outing on the hill. Connell did not allow a run in 5.1 innings. JJ Humes was named hitter of the game after going 2-4 and scoring twice.

Z-Plex Hogan

In Game 1 from Z-Plex Hogan, Slammers Diz defeated USA Prime Cavemen Watkins, 5-4. Conner Murray was named pitcher of the game after tossing 4.2 scoreless innings of work. Murray struck out six and allowed only two hits. Matthew Lucero was named hitter of the game after going 2-2 with two RBI. Also to note Alex Martinez was 1-3 with a double and a run scored. Elyjah Berry tacked on two hits and an RBI.

In Game 2 from Z-Plex Hogan, Action 17U Jackson bested Dallas Patriots 2021 Senato, 12-5. Adam Alexis was named pitcher of the game after a nice game on the mound. Alexis allowed only one hit and added two strikeouts in 4.2 innings of work. Trea Verver was named hitter of the game after going 2-3 with a double and an RBI. Also to note, McKenley McLaughlin, Daniel Ramirez, and Kaston Mason all tallied doubles and tacked on two RBI apiece.

In Game 3 from Z-Plex Hogan, Canes Southwest Houston 17U Santiago blanked Stix 2021 Capps, 4-0. Andy Leon turned out a spectacular outing on the mound and was named player of the game. Leon allowed only three hits and racked up 10 strikeouts in five innings of work. Joseph Binder was named hitter of the game after notching a double and scoring once. Caleb Bunch threw well on the mound as he did not allow a hit in five innings. Also to note, Ben Stevenson was 1-3 with a double.

In Game 4 from Z-Plex Hogan, South Texas Sliders 17U Mayer topped Canes Southwest Houston 17U Santiago, 7-3. Diego Villescas was named player of the game after tallying a hit and two RBI. Also to note, Landon Pyles and Joseph Binder each tacked on a double.

Z-Plex Williams

In Game 1 from Z-Plex Williams, Next Level 2021 outlasted Texas Twelve Black 17U, 5-1. Clay Westbrook was named player of the game after a great outing on the mound. Westbrook allowed only one run on three hits and struck out seven in 6.2 innings of work. Joshua Flores was named hitter of the game after tallying a key triple and leading the way with three RBI. Also to note, Tyler Herrera was 2-3 with a double and an RBI.

In Game 2 from Z-Plex Williams, NTXBC Dirtbags Woods defeated Texas Twelve Black 17U, 9-6. Alex Zepeda was named player of the game after going 2-2 with three RBI. Also to note, Moses Esparza, Katcher Halligan, and Luke Capel all added two RBI. Capel tacked on two doubles for the day.

In Game 3 from Z-Plex Williams, Dallas Tigers West 2021 Beaven bested Canes Southwest NTX Cowser, 4-1. Kevin Taylor was named player of the game after tossing five scoreless innings on the rubber. Taylor added six strikeouts. Also to note, Blaine Vaughn, Jimmy Mathis, Trent Bish, and Zachary Malone all tallied a double on the afternoon.

In Game 4 from Z-Plex Williams, Diamond Prospects topped Tri County Express, 9-2. Ethan Starks was named payer of the game after ripping a key triple and tallying two RBI. Also to note, DeAngelo Morales and Tyler Allen each tacked on a hit.
