24 7 Line Drive Dudes of the Day

Joshua Splawn (West Texas Flat Bill 2022): 3-4, 3 3B, 4 RBI, 3R (Game 1)

Anna HS

In Game 1 from Anna HS, West Texas Flat Bill 2022 outmatched Stix 2022 North Gregory, 13-4. Joshua Splawn was named player of the game after a huge morning at the plate. Splawn was 3-4 with three triples, four RBI, and three runs as he led West Texas to victory.

In Game 2 from Anna HS, USA Prime 16U Bowring outlasted A’s Biggins, 10-9. Mason Bowring led USA Prime’s offense and earned player of the game honors. Bowring finished 2-4 with a double and five RBI.

In Game 3 from Anna HS, LBC National Cummings defeated Dallas Patriots 16U Markee, 13-10. Josh Sanchez continued to hit the cover off the baseball and earned player of the game. Sanchez tallied three hits, four RBI, and scored once.

In Game 4 from Anna HS, Impact Baseball Club Van Poppel/Gray bested Kings Baseball, 6-3. Gaines Estridge was fantastic on the bump as he earned player of the game. Estridge did not allow a hit or run in four innings of work. He also racked up seven punchouts on the night.

Caddo HS

In Game 1 from Caddo HS, SA Kings Scout 2023 toppled Dallas Mustangs 15U Sharp, 4-2. Johnnie Pardo was named player of the game after tallying two RBI. Also to note, Stratton Turnbough struck out six in four innings. Sean Ramos also added two hits.

In Game 2 from Caddo HS, 2023 Canes Southwest Barras outmatched NTX Elite Willingham 2023, 9-1. MJ Sio was lights out on the rubber and earned pitcher of the game. Sio allowed only one hit in four shutout innings. He also added seven strikeouts. Will Nicholson led Canes at the plate and earned player of the game after going 3-4 with an RBI.

In Game 3 from Caddo HS, Slammers Smith defeated Tribe Baseball V, 7-0. Carter was named player of the game after pitching seven scoreless innings and striking out two.

Colbert HS

In Game 1 from Colbert HS, Texas Angels 2023 Libson and LBC National League tied, 1-1. Travis Starkey was named player of the game after allowing only one run in 6.1 innings on the rubber. Starkey added three strikeouts. Also to note, Javier Torres allowed one run in five innings of work.

In Game 2 from Colbert HS, LBC National League toppled Dallas Tigers Fort Worth Slack, 10-2. Dylan Raines was named pitcher of the game after tossing five innings and striking out five. Travis Starkey was named hitter of the game after going 2-3 with a double, two RBI, and a stolen base.

In Game 3 from Colbert HS, LBC National Bennett outmatched ABA 2023 Meng, 11-0. Hank Benny earned player of the game after tossing a five inning no-hitter. Benny also struck out four. Whitt Joyce earned hitter of the game after a big night at the dish. Joyce was 3-3 with a double, home run and four RBI. Also to note, Jarod Romeo launched a grand slam.

DKB

In Game 1 from DKB, DBAT Elite Reyes defeated 15U Slammers Smith, 14-2. Preston Crow earned player of the game after a great game on the mound. Crow struck out nine in four innings of work and only surrendered three hits.

In Game 2 from DKB, Dallas Tigers Felts outlasted West Texas Flat Bill 2022, 11-10. Ethan Jones earned player of the game after going 4-4 with a double, triple, five RBI, and two runs to lead the Tigers to the win.

Jesuit HS

In Game 1 from Jesuit HS, Stix 2022 Goodman outmatched DFW Twins 16U Anderson, 17-6. Matthew Brandt was named player of the game after going 3-4 with a double and two RBI. Matthew Mitchell was named pitcher of the game after going 2.1 innings and also going 2-4 with a double, triple and two RBI.

In Game 2 from Jesuit HS, Dallas Tigers DeLaGarza outlasted Stix 2022 Goodman, 10-7. Rowdy Chandler earned player of the game after going 2-3 with a triple and two RBI. Dickey Ryan was named pitcher of the game after striking out five in three innings. Also to note, Kade Owen scored once and collected two hits.

In Game 3 from Jesuit HS, Dallas Tigers Micucci defeated DBAT Elite Spencer 15U, 8-6. Solomon James earned player of the game after striking. out five in four scoreless innings of work. Jordan Thomas was named hitter of the game after going 3-4 with a double, three RBI, and a run. Also to note, Carson Priebe struck out nine in four innings.

In Game 4 from Jesuit HS, Dallas Tigers Micucci and Marucci Elite Texas Little tied, 5-5. Julian Benford earned player of the game after going 2-2 with a double and three RBI. Esai Torres earned pitcher of the game after striking out two in 1.2 no-hit innings. Also to note, Kyle Lewis tacked on a triple and two RBI.

Z-Plex Bishop

In Game 1 from Z-Plex Bishop, Texas Oilers 16U Nowell toppled ABA 2022 Bunch, 12-2. Matthew Harttaway was named player of the game after a big day at the dish. Harttaway was 3-3 with two RBI and scored three times. Cooper Tyner was named pitcher of the game as he allowed only run through five innings. Tyner also added six strikeouts.

In Game 2 from Z-Plex Bishop, Dallas Tigers Hernandez/Holder and ABA 2022 Bunch tied, 4-4. Akili Carris was named player of the game after tallying two hits including a key double. Carris also tossed three scoreless innings on the bump and struck out one.

In Game 3 from Z-Plex Bishop, BPA 2022 Black knocked off Texas Oilers 16U Nowell, 7-2. Stevie Eisenhauer continued his hot weekend at the plate and secured player of the game honors. Eisenhauer was 2-3 with a double and two RBI.

In Game 4 from Z-Plex Bishop, Lubbock Baseball Academy Phillips and Dallas Tigers Ahearne 15U tied, 3-3. Patrick Enerio earned player of the game after a spectacular outing on the bump. Enerio struck out seven in three innings. Also to note, Braydin Bevilacqua was 2-2 with a double and three RBI.

In Game 5 from Z-Plex Bishop, Dallas Tigers Ahearne 15U outlasted ABA 2023 Hines, 4-1. Jay Nester was named player of the game after goin 2-3 with an RBI. Also to note, Rickey Henderson was 1-1 with a double.

Z-Plex Hogan

In Game 1 from Z-Plex Hogan, 16U Phenom Texas defeated LBC National Cummings, 2-1. Stephen Stahl was a tough out at the plate and earned player of the game for an impressive 3-3 showing.

In Game 2 from Z-Plex Hogan, Dallas Tigers Cienega/Beaven 16U and Marucci Elite Texas 2022 Adams tied, 1-1. Ryan Hammond was masterful on the mound and earned player of the game. Hammond threw a complete game without allowing an earned run. Hammond also racked up 13 punchouts.

In Game 3 from Z-Plex Hogan, NTXBC Dirtbags Sedberry outlasted Dallas Tigers Myles, 9-5. Donnie Dyclus was named player of the game after impressing at the plate and in the box. Dyclus tossed five innings and struck out six while also adding two RBI and two hits at the dish.

In Game 4 from Z-Plex Hogan,  USA Prime Chamblee 15U defeated Lubbock Baseball Academy Ribera, 5-4. Joseph Dominguez earned player of the game after going 2-3 with three RBI. Blayne Polen was 2-3 with a double and an RBI as well.

In Game 5 from Z-Plex Hogan, Lubbock Baseball Academy Phillips bested NTXBC Dirtbags 15U McPike, 4-3. Jett Carroll was named player of the game after tallying a double and three RBI. Both team’s pitchers were nominated as pitcher of the game. Griffin Williams struck out six in 5.1 innings and JD Martinez struck out nine in 5.2 innings. Also to note, Nicolas Vasquez launched a two run home run and Josiah Gonzalez tacked on two singles.

Z-Plex Judson

In Game 1 from Z-Plex Judson, BPA 2023 outlasted DBAT Elite 16U Tompkins, 9-8. Drew Prosek was named player of the game after going 1-2 with a key three run bomb that lifted BPA over DBAT.

In Game 2 from Z-Plex Judson, AB National Team 16U Klein/Gilbert outlasted DBAT Elite 16U Tompkins, 7-6. Jacob Broussard were named player of the game after tossing a solid four innings on the mound. Broussard allowed three runs on six hits and struck out four. Kannon Garza was named hitter of the game after a key two run double to put AB National on top.

In Game 3 from Z-Plex Judson, Lubbock Baseball Academy Fannin defeated Frisco Riders, 6-5. Clay Manning earned player of the game after striking out seven in five innings. Also to mote, Frisco’s Colby Brasuell added two doubles at the plate and struck out two in 4.2 innings pitched.

In Game 4 from Z-Plex Judson, Lubbock Baseball Academy Fannin bested Dallas Tigers Myles, 8-7. Will Qualia was named player of the game after impressing from both sides. Qualia tossed 5.1 innings on one run baseball and also tacked on two doubles at the plate. Also to note, Will Quintana was fantastic for the Tigers as he was 4-4 with a home run and two RBI.

In Game 5 from Z-Plex Judson, Dallas Tigers DeLaGarza topped McKinney Marshals 16U Bern, 12-2. Aaron Jett earned player of the game after being a home run shy of the cycle. Jett also tacked on an RBI. Kade Owen was named pitcher of the game after striking out four in five innings.

Z-Plex Williams

In Game 1 from Z-Plex Williams, Impact Baseball Club Worley outmatched Dallas Tigers Felts, 17-5. Elijah Williams was named player of the game after continuing his hot start to the weekend. Williams was 2-4 with a triple, four RBI, and scored four runs.

In Game 2 from Z-Plex Williams, Dallas Tigers Reynolds defeated USA Prime Chamblee 15U, 10-1. Hunter Hamilton was named player of the game after notching a double and two RBI. Parker Herlehy was named pitcher of the game after allowing only one run in four innings. Herlehy also added four strikeouts.

Zadow Park

In Game 1 from Zadow Park, DBAT Elite Spencer 15U toppled PB 16U, 9-4. Carson Priebe had a big morning at the plate and earned hitter of the game. Priebe tallied a double, home run, and three RBI to lead DBAT.

In Game 2 from Zadow Park, Impact Baseball Club Worley blanked NTX Bulls 16U Pittman, 8-0. Ean Sellars earned player of the game after launching a home run and reaching via a hit by pitch. Sellars also collected two RBI and scored twice to lead Impact Baseball Club.

In Game 3 from Zadow Park, Marucci Elite Texas 2022 Adams outlasted 16U Phenom Texas, 5-1. Aidan Reicheck was named player of the game after a solid day at the dish. Reicheck reached base twice and knocked in an RBI.
