24 7 Line Drive Dudes of the Day

Keller Thompson (Canes Southwest 2021 Mayo): 3-4, 2B, 2 HR, 7 RBI, 2R

Blanchard HS

In Game 1 from Blanchard HS, Skills Baseball 17U outlasted Slammers Bauer, 5-3. Houston Russell had a tremendous morning at the plate and was named player of the game. Russell was 3-3 with a double, the go-ahead home run, and two RBI. Aaron Weber impressed on the mound as he struck out eight in four innings and was named pitcher of the game. Zac Carroll was not to be outdone as he went 3-3 with a double and scored three time. Nate Windle added two hits including a triple. TJ Meyn continued a hot weekend as he went 3-4 with a double. Also to note, Matt Lighthall was 2-2 with a home run for the Slammers.

In Game 2 from Blanchard HS, Canes Southwest Mayo 2021 outmatched OKC Sandlot 17U Baez, 13-3. Keller Thompson continued a hot weekend at the plate and was named player of the game. Thompson was 2-2 with a double, a home run and three RBI. Alejandro Diaz cruised through four inning on the mound and took home pitcher of the game. Diaz tallied five strikeouts on the afternoon. Also to note, Bryce Chambers was 2-2 with a double and an RBI.

In Game 3 from Blanchard HS, Canes Southwest 2021 Mayo defeated Skills Baseball 17U, 7-5. Keller Thompson continued an electric day at the dish and was named player of the game. Thompson belted a grand slam and led the offense. Chris Garcia was named pitcher of the game after striking out four in 5.1 innings of work. Gavin Haines earned hitter of the game after going 2-4 with a home run and two RBI. Also to note, Landon Torres and Zac Carroll each tallied two hits.

Dolese Park

In Game 1 from Dolese Park, USA Prime Halicky outlasted Frozen Ropes Ausmus, 10-9. Cameron Yuran continued a hot weekend at the plate and displayed some late game heroics that earned him player of the game, Yuran was 3-4 on the morning and belted a walk-off solo home run. Connor Camden tallied two hits and scored once in the ballgame. Also to note, Tony Vernars was not to be outdone as he went 3-4 with a home run and three RBI.

In Game 2 from Dolese Park, USA Prime 2021 American topped Colorado Rogue Varsity, 11-4. Gardener Lawrence was named player of the game after a great showing at the dish. Lawrence was 2-3 with a double, two RBI, and two runs scored, Hunter Beindorff drove in three runs on the afternoon while Carson Shepherd notched two RBI.

In Game 3 from Dolese Park, TC Colorado bested USA Prime 2021 American, 11-7. Will Togher was named player of the game after going 2-2 with a double, a home run, three RBI, and two runs scored. Also to note, Adam Benes continued a big weekend at the plate after going 2-3 with a double.

Oklahoma Baptist University

In Game 1 from Oklahoma Baptist University, Slammers Quintana topped Next Level 2021, 5-1. Logan Grandy showed out at the plate and was named player of the game. Grandy belted a home run, drove in two runs, scored twice, and reached via a walk as he led the Slammers to victory.

In Game 2 from Oklahoma Baptist University, Lubbock Assassins outlasted Canes Southwest NTX Cowser, 7-6. JonMark Gonzales was named player of the game after going 2-2. Gonzales ripped a double, tallied two RBI, scored once, and reached base via a walk.

Rose State College

In Game 1 from Rose State College, Colorado Yard Dawgs 2023 outlasted Premier OKC Athletics 15U Navy, 2-1. Hunter Gotschall was lights out on the mound and took home player of the game. Gotschall did not allow an earned run and racked up 11 strikeouts in a complete game. Also to note, Colby Mann was excellent on the mound as he struck out seven in seven strong innings of work.

In Game 2 from Rose State College, Next Level 2023 topped MVP 2023, 4-3. Bret Deegan was awarded player of the game honors after going 1-3 at the plate. Deegan ripped a key RBI double that proved to be the difference maker in a tightly contested matchup.

In Game 3 from Rose State College, Next Level 2023 blanked Colorado Yard Dawgs 2023, 12-0. Issac Compean took home pitcher of the game after a cruising through six innings of work. Compean allowed only one hit and struck out two. Clay Baker exploded at the plate and was named hitter of the game after going 3-3 with six RBI.

Seminole JC

In Game 1 from Seminole JC, Springfield Mavericks bested Risin Baseball 2022, 10-5. Beck Jones swung the bat well and was named player of the game. Jones was 3-3 with a double and an RBI as he led the way at the plate for the Mavericks.

In Game 2 from Seminole JC, DBAT Elite 16U Tompkins outmatched Oklahoma Generals, 11-4. Jett Johnston continued a torrid weekend at the dish and was named player of the game. Johnston was 2-3 with a double, three RBI, and two runs scored as he propelled DBAT to victory.

Tuttle HS

In Game 1 from Tuttle HS, Academy Select Brand outlasted Wichita Shox, 9-7. Oliver Overlin looked good in the box and was named player of the game. Overlin was 2-2 with a double and three key RBI. Also to note, Owen Williams was not to be outdone as he was named hitter of the game and went 2-3 with two RBI.

In Game 2 from Tuttle HS, Sandlot OKC Mitzner topped DFW Twins 16U Williams, 7-1. Brendan Biffle took home player of the game after an excellent outing on the mound. Biffle allowed only three hits and struck out six in five innings of work. Also to note, Jaylon Lee and Caden Powell each ripped a double. Lee drove in two runs to lead the way at the plate.

In Game 3 from Tuttle HS, SWAT Academy Rebels Adler defeated Texas BA, 7-3. Bennet Vaughan earned pitcher of the game after a dominant outing on the mound. Vaughan racked up eight strikeouts in 5.1 innings of work. Duncan Key had a big day at the dish and was named hitter of the game. Key was 3-4 with a double and three RBI.
