Hitters

Braden Brown (SA Baseball)

Braden Brown of SA Baseball was impressive at the plate this weekend in East Texas. The University of Arkansas at Monticello 2023 signee went 7-for-11 with three doubles, one triple, five runs batted in, two runs scored, and two walks on the weekend. Brown is a right-handed hitter from Harmony Grove (AR) and looked comfortable in the batter's box as he kept his hands and hips loaded back to then drive through the zone.

Lucas Nawrocki (Dallas Tigers 2026 Cienega/Myles)

Dallas Tigers 2026 Cienega/Myles' Lucas Nawrocki went 10-for-13 on the weekend showing one of the best batting averages at the Five Tool Texas DFW Kickoff. The left-handed hitter had two doubles, two triples, three runs batted in, eight runs scored, and four walks as he barreled balls all weekend. Nawrocki is an uncommitted 2026 from Aledo (TX) who drove balls to all parts of the field. His smooth swing paired with his hands that were quick through the zone showcased his ability to be an on-base machine.

Ricky Armstrong (NTXBC Dirtbags Green 2027)

Ricky Armstrong of NTXBC Dirtbags Green 2027 was a presence within the batter's box this weekend. The right-handed hitter went 5-for-11 with two doubles, one triple, four runs batted in, five runs scored, and three stolen bases. Armstrong is a 2028 who will end up attending Reagan (TX) in San Antonio, TX. The right-handed hitter has quick hands and uses his ability to drive the ball gap to gap. Armstrong helped his team get to the championship of the Five Tool Oklahoma 14U College Series with his outstanding play.

Easton Barnhill (Strikes Baseball Performance)

Easton Barnhill of Strikes Baseball Performance was dominant on the mound this weekend. Across two games, Barnhill pitched 11.2 innings posting 14 strikeouts while only allowing three hits and one earned run. An uncommitted 2025 from Lubbock Cooper (TX), Barnhill is a right-handed pitcher who featured a fastball/curveball combo and also hides the ball well. This proved effective in deceiving hitters all in both of his outings at the Five Tool Texas DFW Kickoff. Barnhill also had a great weekend at the plate proving to be a two-way threat.

Cannon Day (TBT Ballers Texas 16U Hernandez)

Cannon Day of TBT Ballers Texas 16U Hernandez notched a very impressive feat by throwing a perfect game this weekend. The right-handed pitcher went six innings striking out nine without a single hit, run or walk issued. Day is an uncommitted 2025 out of Mansfield Lake Ridge (TX). His arsenal featured a fastball and curveball which proved to be highly advantageous to the RHP. Day helped his team to dominate leading towards a win on Sunday.

Ayden Phillips (Brazos Valley Bucks)

Brazos Valley Bucks' Ayden Phillips put on a show on the mound this weekend. The left-handed pitcher racked up 13 strikeouts in six innings pitched while only giving up one hit, two walks, and no runs. The uncommitted 2027 from Franklin (TX) mixed in his off-speeds to go along with his fastball to keep hitters off balance which proved successful in guiding his team to victory. This dude will definitely be one to watch throughout the summer.

Wyatt Jones (OKW Baseball)

Wyatt Jones of OKW Baseball was simply dominant on the bump this weekend. Jones is a RHP out of Yukon (OK) and notched 10 strikeouts in 5.2 innings of wor, while only giving up two hits, three walks, and no earned runs. The uncommitted 2027 fooled hitters all day long on Sunday with his fastball and off-speed combo. Working from the windup, this dude pitched with a quick tempo and devastating off-speed to lead his team to a big win on Sunday.
