Pudge Rodriguez World Classic
The Pudge Rodriguez World Classic powered by Five Tool is the organization’s headliner event for 16U teams. This event features the top 16U teams in the nation as they battle it out in a double-elimination formatted tournament. Each year, The Pudge features a highly competitive group of teams who see players get recruited through Five Tool social media channels.
2020 Champions: Dulins Dodgers 16U McGarrh
2021 Champions: Texas Twelve Maroon 2023
The 2022 Pudge Rodriguez World Classic returns to the Z-Plex Texas Sports Village in Melissa, TX for its third year. This event features features the top 16U teams in the nation as they battle it out in a double elimination formatted tournament. Winners of each bracket will advance to the Championship Game.
This week-long event will begin on Tuesday, June 14 and run to Sunday, June 19, 2022.
In 2021, the Pudge Rodriguez World Classic featured a highly competitive group of teams who saw players get recruited through Five Tool social media channels. With all eyes on this 16U event, the competition was at another level that Five Tool 16U events have seen in year’s past.
