Saturday, September 5

Blanchard HS

In Game 1 from Blanchard HS, Oklahoma Generals outlasted Southwest Shockers Hopkins, 9-8. Rylan Roberson had a huge day at the plate and was named player of the game. Roberson was 2-3 with a double, home run, two RBI, and also reached base via a walk. Also to note, David Seelig ripped a key RBI double.

In Game 2 from Blanchard HS, Texas BA bested Southwest Shockers Hopkins, 8-7. Cooper Mutschler took home player of the game honors after a nice showing on the bump. Mutschler worked a clean inning of work and struck out two hitters.

In Game 3 from Blanchard HS, MVP Baseball 16/17U outmatched Putnam City North Baseball, 13-1. Connor Goodson was lights out on the mound and earned player of the game. Goodson did not allow a hit or run and racked up eight strikeouts in three innings of work. Hank Heiselbetz and Taber Stokes each earned a share of hitter of the game. Heiselbetz was 2-2 with two doubles, three RBI, and three runs scored whole Stokes drove in three runs and scored twice.

In Game 4 from Blanchard HS, MVP Baseball 16/17U outlasted Texas BA, 8-7. Connor Goodson continued a spectacular day at the ballpark and was named player of the game. Goodson was 2-3 and belted a grand slam to propel his team to victory. Owen Tracy was locked in on the mound and earned pitcher of the game. Tracy did not allow a hit and racked up seven strikeouts in three innings of work.

In Game 5 from Blanchard HS, Oklahoma Generals topped Putnam City North Baseball, 6-3. Micah Simmons was electric on the mound and was named player of the game. Simmons allowed only one hit and struck out seven in three scoreless innings of work. Also to note, Jackson Cosby was 1-2 with two RBI at the dish and also struck out five in three innings of work.

Sunday, September 6

Blanchard HS

In Game 1 from Blanchard HS, MVP Baseball 16/17U outmatched Oklahoma Generals, 15-2. Owen Tracy continued an impressive weekend and was named player of the game. Tracy was 2-3 with three RBI as he led MVP at the plate. Carson Moore was locked in on the mound and earned pitcher of the game. Moore allowed only two hits and struck out five in three innings of work. Also to note, Kaehler Stillings was 2-2 with an RBI and two runs scored.

In Game 2 from Blanchard HS, Texas BA bested Putnam City North Baseball, 14-5. Tysen McCune had a huge day at the plate and took home player of the game honors. McCune was 3-4 with a double, home run, six RBI, and three runs scored. Also to note, Mark Christopher was 2-4 with a double, an RBI, and three runs scored.

Chickasha Stadium

In Game 1 from Chickasha Stadium, MVP Baseball 16/17U blanked Southwest Shockers Hopkins, 11-0. Brock West had a huge afternoon at the plate and was named player of the game. West was 3-3 with two home runs, five RBI, and three runs scored. Also to note, Luke Schimmels was named pitcher of the game after racking up seven punchouts in three innings of work.
