The Hightower Family Fund

Our continued thoughts and prayers are with Mason Hightower and his family. Mason is a former University of Oklahoma Baseball student employee and a Five Tool Oklahoma summer employee.

On September 30, Mason went in for surgery to replace two valves in his heart — they suspected he had bacterial endocarditis. After extensive review and testing, it was determined that Mason needed a full heart transplant.

In the process, Mason had a small stroke in his brain which put the heart transplant on hold. However, on October 7, Mason received an artificial heart. A transplant in the future is likely to help Mason reach the complete road to recovery.

To help Mason and his family, a fund was set up on his behalf. To donate, click on this link.
