316 Elite Baseball 18U and Wichita Twins 16U tied 7-7 in Game 1 at WSU.  Wichita’s Hunter Igo went 2-4 with a double, one RBI, a stolen base, and two runs scored.  Igo was named player of the game.  Teammates, Jackson Syring and Cade Becker also had solid games for Wichita.  Syring went 2-4 with an RBI and one run scored while Becker went 1-2 with a triple and two RBI’s.

Wichita Kings 17U tied 316 Elite Baseball 17U, 1-1, in Game 2 at WSU.  Wichita’s Alec Kealey pitched a complete game allowing just one run and struck out five batters.  Kealey was named player of the game. His Teammate, Jordan Ellison went 2-3 with one RBI and was named hitter of the game.  Other notable players were Elite’s Carsen Pracht (2-3 with a stolen base and one run scored) and Cayden Ysidro (1-3 with one RBI). 

BBA Titans 17U defeated 316 Elite Baseball 18U Black, 6-3, in Game 3 at WSU.  At the plate, Carter Dobrinski went 2-3 with a triple, three RBI’s, a stolen base, and two runs scored for BBA. Check him out in the video embedded below. Dobrinski was named player of the game for his efforts.  Daniel Bateman pitched two innings with four strikeouts and allowed only one hit.  He was named pitcher of the gameBrody Hanna (3-4 with a double and one RBI) and Kadin Pearson (2-4) both had solid days at the plate for Elite Baseball. 

Due to bad weather, Game 4 between BBA Titans 18U and 316 Elite Baseball 17U at WSU was cut short.  BBA Titans 18U beat 316 Elite Baseball, 5-1, in five innings.  Mack Thompson went 2-3 with a double, two RBI’s, and two runs scored for BBA.  Thompson was named player of the game.  On the mound, Hayden Tallman pitched four innings with three strikeouts and allowed only one run.  He was named pitcher of the game.  Also to note, Carter Dobrinski went 1-3 with two RBI’s for BBA.

In Game 1 at ButlerEdmond Express 17U defeated Swat Rebels 18U Wimmer, 11-0.  Edmond’s Caleb Isaacs was dominant on the mound pitching a complete game shutout with twelve strikeouts.  Isaacs allowed only one hit and was named player of the game.  Also to note for Edmond, Preston Stout went 3-4 with two RBI’s while Brett Smith went 2-3 with a triple, a double, two RBI’s, and four runs scored. 

Mac-n-Seitz Elite 16U defeated North Texas Eagles Elite 17U, 6-5, in Game 2 at Butler.  Billy Bartlett went 2-3 with a triple, a double and one RBI for MNS.  Bartlett was named player of the game.  On the mound, Maythew Mariaty pitched six innings with four strikeouts and only allowed two earned runs.  Mariaty got the win and was named pitcher of the game.

In Game 3 at ButlerAces Baseball Academy defeated Wichita Twins 16U Meares, 5-3.  For Aces Baseball Academy, Jaron Jenkins threw a complete game and didn’t allow a single run on his way to pitcher of the game Missouri State commit, Mason Auer went 1-3 with two RBI’s and teammate, Noah Argenta, went 2-3. Both were named hitters of the game.

KC Barnstormers 18U defeated Texas Blackhawks 16U, 8-1, in Game 1 at CCDavid Newton pitched 5.2 innings and had two strikeouts for KC.  Newton only allowed one run and was named player of the game.  At the plate, Malik Stevenson went 1-4 with a triple and one RBI on his way to being named hitter of the game.  

In Game 2 at CCBBA Titans 17U defeated Select Prospects, 7-4.  BBA’s Damon Burroughs went 2-2 with one RBI and was named hitter of the game.  On the mound, Conner O’Malley threw 3.1 innings striking out two.  He walked one batter and gave up no earned runs on his way to pitcher of the game.  Also to note, Cole Miller pitched five innings with seven strikeouts and only allowed one hit. 

In Game 3 at CCPro Source Athletics Hernandez defeated Cooperstown Cobras, 14-4. On the mound, Mason Phillips pitched 3.2 innings and struck out four. He gave up three hits and one earned run on his way to pitcher of the gameAustin Liu went 3-3 with a double, a triple, and an RBI.  Liu was named hitter of the game.

MNS Elite 17U Hobbs defeated Pro Source Athletics 17U Breeding, 12-2, in Game 4 at CC.  At the plate, Brant Scrivner (2-2 with a home run and three RBI’s) and Derek Abeln (2-3 with a home run and three RBI’s) carried MNS.  Both were named hitters of the gameTrae Robertson pitched three innings with six strikeouts and allowed zero earned runs.  He was named player of the game.

MHS

Wichita Twins 16U Meares defeated KC Barnstormers 16U Brennan, 11-1, in Game 1 at MHS.  On the mound, Alex Jacobs pitched three hitless innings and struck out six for Wichita.  He also went 1-1 with two runs scored and two stolen bases on his way to player of the game.  At the plate, Reece Flax (2-2 with a triple and two RBI’s), Collin Mackey (2-3 with a double and two RBI’s), and Jackson Syring (1-2 with a double and five stolen bases) were impressive for Wichita. 

Wichita Kings 17U defeated KC Banstormers 16U Giannola, 12-2, in Game 2 at MHS.  Wichita’s Zach Gillig was player of the game going 2-3 with a double, a single and five RBI’s.  Check him out in the video below. Teammate, Houston McFarlane was impressive on the mound pitching six innings with five strikeouts.  McFarlane only allowed two runs and was named pitcher of the game

In Game 3 at MHSNWA Prospects defeated St. Louis Bandits, 8-1.  For NWA, Carter Carlton went 2-3 with a triple, a single and five RBI’s.  He was named player of the game.  On the mound,  Landrey Wilkerson pitched 3.2 hitless innings with six strikeouts and was named pitcher of the game.

In Game 4 at MHSTexas Edmond Express defeated Texas Blackhawks 16U, 23-3.  Brett Smith led the charge by going 4-4 with two home runs, two doubles, six RBI’s, and was named player of the game.  Check out Smith in the video below. Teammate, Garrett Crone went 4-4 with a home run, three RBI’s, and three runs scored.  Crone was named hitter of the game.

MSHS

In Game 1 at MSHSNWA Prospects defeated Thunder Academy 17U Cox, 4-3.  NWA’s Brady Simmons went 2-3 with one RBI on his way to hitter of the game.  Also to note, Ethan Taylor went 2-3 for NSA while Jonah Cox went 2-4 at the plate for Thunder Academy.   

Kansas City Royals Scout Team 16U defeated BBA Titans 18U, 11-4, in Game 2 at MSHS.  On the mound, Austin Atkinson pitched 5.1 innings with six strikeouts for Kansas City.  He was named pitcher of the gameNathan Chester went 3-4 with a triple, a double, a single and two RBI’s on his way to being named player of the gameBraxton Bragg was also impressive at the plate with a grand slam and four RBI’s for Kansas City. 

In Game 3 at MSHSCavalier Baseball 18U Urick defeated NLS Monarchs 17U, 11-6.  Brett Ingram went 2-4 with a double, a single and two RBI’s.  Ingram was named player of the game.  Teammate, Nathan Huber went 3-4 with one RBI and was named hitter of the game.  Also to note, Carson sager went 2-4 with two RBI’s.

WSU

Woodlands Express 16U Molina defeated Cavalier Baseball 18U Urick, 6-4, in Game 1 at WSU.  At the plate  for the Woodlands, Blane Romero went 3-3 with a double, two RBI’s, one run scored, and two stolen bases.  Romero was named player of the game.  Wichita State commit, Casey Sunseri went 2-3 with two doubles, two runs scored and a stolen base.  Sunseri was named hitter of the game.

In Game 2 at WSUArsenal Stars 17U Hall defeated Stix South 17U, 4-3.  Garrett Vandeventer threw seven innings striking out seven.  Vandeventer was named player of the game.  At the plate, Tanner Denton, Cooper Elliot, and Po Seals had a combined nine hits for Arsenal.  

KC Barnstormers 18U tied Swat Rebels 18U, 2-2, in Game 3 at WSUDelton Cooper threw six  innings with five strikeouts for Swat.  Cooper allowed four hits and was named pitcher game.  At the plate, Braden Corley went 2-3 and was named hitter of the game.

In Game 1 at Butler, Stix South Fort Worth 17U defeated NLS Monarchs 17U, 7-1.  Player of the game was Taylor Grimes for Stix South.  Grimes had a good day at the plate going 2-4 with a double and one run scored.  On the mound, Garrett Chappell pitched five innings with six strikeouts.  Chappell only allowed one earned run and was named pitcher of the game.  Also to note, Brett Squires went 1-3 with a triple and one RBI for Stix South.  

BBA Titans 18U defeated Wichita Kings 17U, 5-0, in Game 2 at ButlerAJ Archambo went 2-3 with a home run, a double and one run scored for BBA.  Archambo was named player of the game.  On the mound, Foster Roy pitched six innings with twelve strikeouts and was named pitcher of the game.  Chcek him in action in the video below.

In Game 3 at Butler, 316 Elite Baseball 17U defeated Stix South 16U Red, 5-1.  Cale Blasi went 2-3 with an RBI and was named hitter of the gameCarsen Pracht pitched a complete game with seven strikeouts for 316 Elite.  He only allowed one earned run and was named player of the game.  For Stix South, Wilson Hicks went 1-3 with a home run and one run scored.

316 Elite Baseball 18U Blue defeated KC Barnstormers 16U Brennan, 12-0, in Game 4 from ButlerJack Wagner went 2-3 with a home run, a double, one RBI, and two runs scored for 316 Elite.  Wagner was named player of the game.  Johnson County Community College commit, Chase Hampton pitched three hitless innings with three strikeouts and was named pitcher of the game.  Also to note, Corbin Lill went 1-3 with a home run and two RBI’s while Richard Lara Jr. went 2-3 with two triples and two RBI’s.  

In Game 5 from Butler, Cavalier Baseball 18U Brown defeated Cooperstown Cobras 17U, 9-8.  Kyle Clark went 3-3 with two RBI’s, a triple, a double and was named player of the gameColby Seltzer went 2-3 with three RBI’s and a double for Cooperstown.

In Game 1 at CC, Royals Scout Team 16U defeated 316 Elite Baseball 17U, 3-1.  Jamir Simpson went 1-3 with a double and two RBI’s for Royals Scout Team.  He was named player of the game.  Teammate, Braxton Bragg went 1-3 with a triple on his way to being named hitter of the game.  For 316 Elite, Cayden Ysidro (2-3) and Logan Stockemer (2-3 with a double) had good games. 

Swat Rebels 18U Wimmer tied Texas Blackhawks 16U,9-9, in Game 2 at CCHarrison Thornton went 2-2 with two doubles and two RBI’s for Swat Rebels.  Thornton was named player of the game.  For the Blackhawks, Devon Lindsey (2-4 with two triples) and Zane Leonard (2-4 with a double and three RBI’s) were both named hitters of the game

Thunder Academy 17U Cox defeated St. Louis Bandits 16U, 9-2, in Game 3 from CCMichael Wegleitner went 3-3 with three doubles and two runs scored for Thunder Academy.  He also pitched five innings with three strikeouts and was named player of the game.  Teammate, Jonah Cox went 2-4 with a triple, a double, and three RBI’s.  Cox was named hitter of the game.

MHS

Thunder Academy 17U Cox held off Cavalier Baseball 18U Brown, 7-3, in Game 1 from MHSPlayer of the game was Zachary Boh for Thunder Academy.  Boh carried the offense going 2-3 with three RBI’s and double. 

In Game 2 from MHS, KC Barnstormers 18U defeated Cooperstown Cobras 16U, 7-4.  KC’s Malik Stevenson went 2-3 with two singles, two RBI’s, and was named player of the game.  On the mound for Cooperstown, Owen Loesch pitched two innings with four strikeouts.  He was named pitcher of the game.

In Game 3 from MHS, North Texas Eagles Elite 17U defeated BBA Titans 17U, 3-2.  Clay Byassee went 1-3 with two RBI’s, and a double.  Byassee was named player of the game.

In Game 4 from MHS, Mac-N-Seitz Elite 17U Hobbs defeated Aces Baseball Academy 16U, 16-3.  Tre Morris went 2-3 with a home run, a double, and four RBI’s for MNS Elite.  He was named player of the gameHelsel went 2-3 with three RBI’s and two singles on his way to being named hitter of the game.

MSHS

316 Elite Baseball 18U Black defeated Mac-N-Seitz Elite 16U, 11-0, in Game 1 at MSHSBrody Hanna led the offense for 316 Elite.  Hanna went 2-2 with two doubles, five RBI’s, two walks and was named player of the game.  Teammates, Kadin Pearson (1-2 with two RBI’s) and Luke Royle (1-2 with an RBI and four stolen bases) also had good days at the plate.

In Game 2 from MSHS, MNS Elite 17U Hobbs narrowly defeated 316 Elite Baseball 18U Blue, 9-8.  Player of the game was Bennett Patton for MNS Elite.  Patton went 2-2 with a double and two RBI’s.  His teammate, Max Hunter went 2-3 with two RBI’s and was named hitter of the game.  

In Game 3 from MSHS, Arsenal Stars 17U Hall defeated Woodlands Express 16U Molina, 13-0.  Sam Burkhart pitched five innings with two strikeouts and only allowed one hit for Arsenal Stars.  He was named player of the game.  Teammate, Pryce Anderson went 2-3 with a double and two RBI’s.  Anderson was named hitter of the game.

In Game 4 from MSHS, Cavalier Baseball 18U Urick defeated Arsenal Stars 17U Hall, 3-2.  Player of the game was Hunter Paxton for Cavalier Baseball.  He pitched 6.2 scoreless innings with eight strikeouts.  Carson Sader went 2-2 with a triple and two RBI’s on his way to being named hitter off the game.  Also to note, Brett Ingram went 1-2 with an RBI. 

WSU

In Game 1 from WSU, Cooperstown Cobras 17U defeated NWA Prospects 16U, 12-2.  Hunter Adkins went 2-2 with a home run, a single, and two RBI’s for Cooperstown.  He was named player of the game.  Teammate, Colby Seltzer went 2-2 with three RBI’s and was named hitter of the game.

Pro Source 17U Breeding defeated Aces Baseball Academy, 7-6, in Game 2 from WSU.  At the plate, Keegan Sueltz went 2-3 with a double and three RBI’s for Pro Source.  He was named hitter of the gameNicholas Sestito threw four scoreless innings and only allowed one hit on his way to being named pitcher of the game.

Edmond Express 17U defeated Pro Source 17U Hernandez, 7-1, in Game 3 from WSU.  On the mound, Garrett Jones pitched a complete game with six strikeouts for Edmond.  He only allowed one earned run and was named player of the game.  Teammate, Benjamin Macnaughton went 2-4 with a triple, a double, two RBI’s, and was named hitter of the game.  Also to note, Sutton Hess went 2-3 with one RBI. 

In Game 4 from WSU, Kansas City Royals Scout Team 16U defeated KC Barnstormers 16U Giannola, 6-1.  Player of the game was Kirby Connell with Royals Scout Team.  Connell pitched five innings with 10 strikeouts and only allowed one earned run.  Luke Burk went 2-2 with one RBI on his way to hitter of the gameTrevor Kardell (1-2 with two RBI’s) and Griffin Henry (1-1 with two RBI’s) both had good games.

In Game 5 from WSU, NLS Monarchs 17U narrowly defeated Woodlands Express 16U Molina, 3-1.  Jason Kostelnick pitched six scoreless innings with three strikeouts and was named player of the game.  Teammate, Payton Whitaker went 1-3 with two RBI’s and was named hitter of the game.

Arsenal Stars 17U Hall defeated NLS Monarchs, 2-0, in Game 2 from CC.  For Arsenal Stars, Ethan Booe took over the game from the mound.  Booe pitched a complete game shutout and only allowed one hit on his way to being named player of the game.  

Cavalier Baseball 18U Brown tied NWA Prospects, 4-4, in Game 3 from CC.  For Cavalier Baseball, Riley Putnam went 2-3 with a double.  For NWA, Colton Sagely went 2-3 with two stolen bases and a walk.  Putnam and Sagely were named players of the game.  Cole Evans (2-3 with one run scored), Ethan Taylor (2-3 with one RBI and one run scored), and Trevor Johnson (2-3 with one run scored) all had good games.

In Game 4 from CC, BBA Titans 18U defeated KC Barnstormers 16U Giannola, 8-7.  Trevor Blackwell went 2-3 with a double, two RBI’s, and one run scored for KC Barnstormers.  He was named hitter of the game.  Also to note, Jake Morris went 2-3 with two RBI’s.

MHS

In Game 1 from MHS, 316 Elite Baseball 18U Lienhard held off Pro Source 17U Breeding, 5-4.  For 316 Elite, Blake Freeman went 3-4 with a home run, two RBI’s, and a stolen base.  Freeman was named player of the gameBradyn Wiens went 2-3 with a triple, a double, and a stolen base on his way to being named hitter of the game.

St. Louis Bandits 16U tied Cooperstown Cobras, 3-3, in Game 2 from MHS.  For Cooperstown, Colby Seltzer went 2-3 with a home run, one RBI, and a couple of throw outs from the catcher position.  He was named player of the game.  For St. Louis, Brenden Cooper went 2-2 with a home run, two RBI’s and was named hitter of the game.

Aces Baseball Academy 16U defeated KC Barnstormers 16U Brennan, 23-3, in Game 3 from MHSTanner Sargent went 3-5 with four RBI’s, a triple, a double and was named player of the gameClay Burtrum went 2-3 with three RBI’s and one walk.  He was named hitter of the game

In Game 4 at MHS, Select Prospects 17U defeated 316 Elite Baseball 18U Black, 12-1.  For Select Prospects, Brian Skillman went 3-4 with two triples, a double, and two RBI’s.  Skillman also pitched six innings with seven strikeouts and was named player of the game.  Teammate, Caleb Case went 3-4 with two doubles, a single, four RBI’s, and was named hitter of the game.

MSHS

Pro Source 17U Hernandez defeated Swat Rebels 18U Wimmer, 9-5, in Game 1 from MSHS.  At the plate, Keldon Crawford went 2-3 with a stolen base, four runs scored, and was named player of the gameBrett Hedges (2-3 with two RBI’s) and Cameron Hill (1-3 with two RBI’s) were both named hitters of the game.

In Game 2 from MSHS, KC Barnstormers 16U Giannola defeated Texas Stix South 16U Red, 2-1.  Jason Gonzales pitched five scoreless innings with eight strikeouts for Texas Stix.  Gonzales was named pitcher of the game.  For KC Barnstormers, Owen Chaffin went 2-3 with a double and had the game winning RBI for his team.  Chaffin was named player of the game.  Also to note, Carter Jones went 2-3 with a double and one RBI.

In Game 3 from MSHS, Pro Source 17U Hernandez defeated KC Barnstromers 18U, 12-2.  For Pro Source, Gabriel Aponte went 3-4 with four RBI’s and was named player of the gameKeldon Crawford (1-3 with a stolen base) and William Kappler (2-3 with two RBI’s) were both named hitters of the game.  

KC Royals Scout Team 16U defeated Texas Stix 16U Red, 5-3, in Game 4 at MSHSGriffin Henry went 2-3 with one RBI and two runs scored for KC Royals.  He was named player of the game.  Also to note, Marcus Smith went 2-2 for KC Royals while Wilson Smith went 1-2 with one RBI and a walk for Texas Stix.

Game 5: BBA Titans 18U defeated Pro Source Hernandez 17U, 5-0, from MSHS.  For BBA Titans, Sy Snedeker went 2-3 with an RBI and was named player of the gameRustin Postier (1-3 with one RBI and two runs scored) and Mack Thompson (3-4) were both named hitters of the game.

MNS Elite 17U Hobbes defeated KC Barnstormers 16U Brennan, 16-0, in Game 1 from WSU.  Zach Todd, for MNS, dominated the game from the mound putting up great numbers.  He threw four scoreless innings with ten strikeouts and only allowed one walk on his way to player of the gameTre Morris went 3-3 with a double, single, and two RBI’s.  Morris was named hitter of the game.  Also to note, Brant Scrivner went 2-2 with a triple, a double, and three RBI’s.

Game 2: Mac-N-Seitz 16U 11,  BBA Titans 17U 5

In Game 3 from WSU, Cooperstown Cobras defeated Texas Blackhawks 16U, 4-2.  Conner Henslee pitched six innings with six strikeouts and was named player of the gameCade Hutson went 2-3 with a double and one RBI.  Hutson was named hitter of the game.  Also to note, Henry Fisher went 3-3 with one RBI.

In Game 5 from WSU, Cavalier Baseball 18U Brown defeated St. Louis Bandits 16U, 3-1.  On the mound, Tanner Markham pitched five innings with four strikeouts and only allowed one earned run.  Markham was named pitcher of the gameConner Boyt went 2-2 with a double, two RBI’s, and one run scored on his way to being named player of the game.

WSU/MSHS Game Stories

MNS Elite 17U defeated BBA Titans, 4-0, in Game 1 from WSU.  Kaden Helsel went 1-3 with a triple at the plate for MNS.  He also pitched 4.2 scoreless innings with eight strikeouts.  Helsel was named player of the game.  Teammate, Bennett Patton went 1-2 with a triple and two RBI’s on his way to being named hitter of the game.

In Game 1 from MSHS, Thunder Academy 17U defeated Cavaliers Baseball 18U, 8-2.  On the mound, Taylor Riely pitched a complete game shutout with seven strikeouts for Thunder Academy.  Riely only allowed three walks and was named player of the gameJoshua Cox went 2-3 with a triple, one RBI and was named hitter of the game.  For Cavalier Baseball, Jackson Doherty went 2-2 with two RBI’s.

In Game 2 from MSHS, Kansas City Royals Scout defeated Wichita Twins Blue, 7-2.  Mason Auer pitched six innings with four strikeouts and only allowing two earned runs.  He was named pitcher of the game.  At the plate, Reece Plax went 2-3 with two RBI’s, three runs scored, and was named hitter of the game.  Also to note, Jamir Simpson went 1-3 with two RBI’s.

In Game 2 from WSUEdmond Express defeated BBA Titans, 7-0.  For Edmond, Carter Hines pitched a complete game shutout with eleven strikeouts.  Hines was named player of the gameCarter Dobrinski went 2-3 with a single and two stolen bases for BBA.  Dobrinski had a couple of good plays at the shortstop position and he was named hitter of the game.

Thunder Academy 18U defeated Edmond Express, 7-2, in Game 3 from WSUJonah Cox went 3-4 with a double, a single, and a stolen base for Thunder Academy.  He was named player of the gameZachary Boh went 2-3 with one RBI, two stolen bases, and was named hitter of the game.  For Edmond, Ben MacNaughton went 2-4 with a triple and one RBI.  

In Game 4 from WSU, Wichita Twins narrowly defeated MNS Elite 17U, 2-1.  Wichita’s Cade Becker pitched six innings with three strikeouts and only allowed one hit on his way to being named player of the game.  Teammate, Hunter Igo went 2-3 with a double and one run scored.  He was named hitter of the game.
