Frenship HS

In Game 1 from Frenship HS, Houston A’s Gold 2020 defeated LBA Fortney, 16-3.  For Houston, William Burford was named pitcher of the game.  Burford pitched three innings of relief with one hit and five strikeouts.  At the plate, Deundre Jones went 3-4 with a triple, a double, six RBI’s and was a home run short of the cycle.  Jones was named player of the game.  Also to note, Will Dolan went 3-3 with a walk for Houston.

Houston A’s Gold 2020 defeated NTX Dirtbags 2020, 14-3, in Game 2 from Frenship HS.  For Houston, Levi Wells had three strong innings of one hit baseball with four strikeouts.  Wells was named pitcher of the game.  Teammate, Ryan Pavlik went 4-5 with two doubles and he also had a good day on the mound.  Pavlik came in relief and pitched four innings with two strikeouts.  He was named player of the gameCole Smajstria was named hitter of the game with two doubles and three RBI’s for Houston. 

In Game 3 from Frenship HS, NTX Dirtbags 2020 defeated San Antonio Kings 2020, 16-10.  On the mound for NTX, Jacob Banister pitched three innings and only allowed two hits.  At the plate, Cody Burkhalter went 3-4 with four RBI’s while Josh Williams went 4-5 with two RBI’s and a double for NTX.  Williams was named player of the game.  Also to note, Jaxon Pimental went 3-4 with a double and two RBI’s for San Antonio.

Amarillo BA Smith defeated Cooperstown Cobras, 8-4, in Game 4 from Frenship HS.  For Amarillo, Charles Pearson was named pitcher of the game.  Pearson pitched four innings with three strikeouts and only allowed two walks.  Carson Altman went 2-3 with a double, one RBI, and was named player of the game.  For Cooperstown, Gabe Fox had a good game at the plate going 2-3 with two doubles.

Lubbock Raiders defeated Houston A’s Black 2021, 16-5, in Game 5 from Frenship HS.  For Lubbock, Kaeleb Carrillo went 2-3 with a triple, a double, three RBI’s and was named player of the game.  Teammate, Layden White went 2-3 with a double and two RBI’s.  He was named hitter of the gameTrevor Stephens had a good game at the plate going 2-3 with a double and one RBI for Lubbock. 

LCU

West Texas Edge defeated NTX Dirtbags 2021, 14-0, in Game 1 from LCUPlayer of the game was Andrew Flatt for West Texas Edge.  Flatt pitched a complete game shutout with two strikeouts and only allowed five hits.  Teammate, Rhett Clarke led the offense for West Texas.  Clarke went 2-3 with a double, a single, two RBI’s, a walk, and was named hitter of the game.  

In Game 2 from LCU, Frozen Ropes Madison defeated LBA Randolph, 10-0 in five innings.  Frozen Ropes scored three runs in the 1st inning, four in the 2nd inning, and never looked backed.  Tristan Gutless pitched a complete game shutout with three strikeouts for Frozen Ropes.  Gutless only allowed two hits and was named pitcher of the gameTeige Mitchell went 2-3 with two singles, two RBI’s, and one run scored.  Mitchell was named player of the game.  

In Game 3 from LCU, Lubbock Raiders defeated San Antonio Angels Blue, 12-2 in five innings.  Lubbock had a big six run inning early in the game and the offense was led by Jake Sherrard.  Sherrard went 3-4 with a double, two singles, three RBI’s, one run scored, and was named player of the game.  On the mound, Kaeleb Carrillo pitched five innings with three strikeouts and only allowed one walk.  Carrillo was named pitcher of the game.  Also to note, Cooper Hamilton went 2-3 with a triple, a single, two RBI’s, and three runs scored for Lubbock.

In Game 4 from LCU, Amarillo BA Hoffman defeated Lobos Baseball 2021 in a close 11-10 game.  Amarillo scored five runs in the bottom of the 5th inning to take the lead 11-10 and they held that lead for the rest of the game.  Amarillo’s Riston Kauk went 2-3 with two singles, two RBI’s, and one run scored.  He also pitched 2.1 innings with three strikeouts and was named player of the game.  For Lobos Baseball, Matthew Drange went 2-2 with an inside-the-park home run, a single, three RBI’s, and two runs scored.

C3 Futures defeated Houston A’s Gold 2021, 13-4, in Game 5 from LCU.  C3 Futures scored six runs in the 1st and 4th inning to separate themselves from Houston early and win the game in 5 innings.  The offense was led by Cole Kirkpatrick by going 2-3 with a triple, a single, three RBI’s, and two runs scored.  On the mound, Tyler Rainey pitched 3.2 innings with five strikeouts and was named pitcher of the game.  

Lubbock Christian HS

Frozen Ropes Madison narrowly defeated Amarillo BA Hoffman, 11-10, in Game 1 from Lubbock Christian HSPlayer of the game was Kaylom Coats for Frozen Ropes.  Coats went 4-4 with a double and five RBI’s.  Teammate, John Marc Gonzales pitched 1.2 scoreless innings in relief with three strikeouts.  Gonzales was named pitcher of the game.

In Game 2 from Lubbock Christian HS, NTX Eagles 2020 defeated LBA Ramos, 21-5.  The offensive attack for NTX was led by Corbin Lingo and Ryan Brower.  Lingo went 4-4 with four runs scored and one RBI while Brower went 2-3 with two runs scored and three RBI’s.  Both were named players of the game.

In Game 3 from Lubbock Christian HS, NTX Blackhawks defeated Odessa Rage, 11-7.  Jacob Escalon had a great game at the plate for NTX.  Escalon went 4-4 with a double, five RBI’s, one run scored, and was named player of the game.  

Lubbock Assassins defeated San Antonio Angels Blue, 11-10, in Game 4 from Lubbock Christian HS.  Lubbock’s Ryan Quintanilla went 2-2 with a double, one RBI, one run scored, and he was named player of the game.  For San Antonio, Cole Wierchring went 3-3 with two doubles, two RBI’s, and two runs scored. 

In Game 5 from Lubbock Christian HS, Lobos Baseball 2021 defeated LBA Randolph, 10-5.  For Lobos Baseball, Leonel Parra went 2-3 with a double, two runs scored, and one walk while Matthew Drange went 2-3 with a double, two RBI’s, and a stolen base.  Parra and Drange were both named players of the game.

Lubbock Cooper HS

Flat Bill Baseball held off ABA Bunch, 6-4, in Game 1 from Lubbock Cooper HSElijah Velasquez went 1-3 with three RBI’s and had an inside-the-park home run for Flat Bill Baseball.  Velasquez was named player of the game.  On the mound, Mason Martinez pitched 1.2 hitless innings and got the save for Flat Bill Baseball.  He was named pitcher of the game.

In Game 2 at Lubbock Cooper HS, Clutch Baseball defeated Amarillo BA Smith, 15-4.  Storm Hierholzer had a great game at the plate for Clutch Baseball.  Hierholzer went 3-3 with a home run, a double, and four RBI’s.  He was named player of the game.

Clutch Baseball was able to hold off LBA Powell, 9-5, in Game 3 from Lubbock Cooper HSBraden Powell went 2-3 with a triple, a double, and three RBI’s on his way to being named player of the game.  

In Game 4 from Lubbock Cooper HS, ABA Foote defeated LBA Powell, 12-3.  Chase Weissenborn went 2-3 with two singles, one RBI, and one walk for ABA Foote.  Weissenborn was named player of the game.

In Game 5 from Lubbock Cooper HS, ABA Foote defeated Frozen Ropes Heath, 14-5.  Gunner Gouldsmith went 4-4 with three doubles, one RBI, and two stolen bases for ABA Foote.  Gouldsmith was named player of the game.  Also to note, Jacob Berry went 3-3 with a triple, a double, one RBI, and one walk.

O’Banion

Odessa Rage 15U defeated ABA Baca, 7-1, in Game 1 from O’Banion.  For Odessa, Noe Brito pitched seven scoreless innings with six strikeouts and only allowed three walks.  Brito was named player of the game.  Teammate, Easton Hernandez went 1-2 with two walks and was named hitter of the game.

In Game 2 from O’Banion, West Texas Outlaws defeated Amarillo BA Wright, 6-5.  For the Outlaws, Jonathon Long pitched two innings with one strikeout and only allowed one hit.  Long was named pitcher of the game.  At the plate, Esi Morin went 2-3 with two RBI’s and a double on his way to being named player of the game.

DBAT Tompkins defeated Amarillo BA Wright, 10-5, in Game 3 from O’Banion.  On the mound for DBAT, River Ridings pitched four innings with ten strikeouts.  Ridings only allowed one earned run and did not give up any walks.  He was named player of the gameLuke Piper went 3-4 with a triple, two singles, two RBI’s, and was named hitter of the game.

In Game 4 from O’Banion, Lobos Baseball 2020 narrowly defeated West Texas Outlaws, 9-8.  On the mound, Chris Kollman pitched 3.1 innings with one strikeout and only gave up three hits for Lobos Baseball.  Kollman was named player of the game.  Teammate, Devin Goins went 2-2 at the plate and was named hitter of the game

In Game 5 from O’Banion, DBAT Tompkins defeated Lobos Baseball 2020, 5-2.  Cam Brown dominated from the mound by pitching five innings with thirteen strikeouts and only allowed one walk for DBAT.  He was named player of the game.  At the plate, Jordan Rogers had two RBI’s and a triple that broke a time ballgame.  Rogers was named hitter of the game.

Texas Tech

In Game 1 from Texas Tech, Houston A’s Black 2020 defeated NTX Blackhawks 2021, 9-0.  Brett Jetton led the offense for Houston by going 3-4 with two RBI’s, two runs scored, and one walk.  Jetton was named player of the game.  On the mound, Austin Dean pitched four scoreless innings with four strikeouts.  Dean only allowed three hits and was named pitcher of the game.

Cooperstown Cobras defeated Frozen Ropes Madison, 11-0, in Game 2 at Texas TechSeth Hakanson had a great game on the mound for Cooperstown.  He pitched five scoreless innings with five strikeouts and was named pitcher of the gameJackson Brown went 3-3 with a double, three RBI’s, two runs scored, and one stolen base.  Brown was named player of the game.  Also to note, Cole Plowman went 2-2 with two RBI’s and two runs scored for Cooperstown.     

In Game 3 from Texas Tech, ABA Bunch defeated LBA Ramos, 8-3.  On the mound, Darius Garcia pitched seven innings with six strikeouts and picked up the win for ABA Bunch.  Garcia was named player of the gameKade Benavidez went 2-2 with three RBI’s, two runs scored, one walk and was named hitter of the gameRyan Lovato had a good game at the plate going 2-3 with two RBI’s and two runs scored.

NTX Eagles 2020 defeated Flat Bill Baseball, 9-3, in Game 4 from Texas TechGarrett Bridges pitched five innings with six strikeouts for NTX.  He only allowed two hits and one walk on his way to being named pitcher of the gameRyan Browner went 2-3 with two RBI’s, one run scored, and a stolen base.  Browner was named player of the game.

San Antonio Kings defeated LBA Fortney, 22-6, in Game 5 at Texas Tech.  San Antonio’s Max Kloberdantz went 4-4 with three RBI’s, three runs scored, a stolen base and was named player of the game.  Teammate, Marcus Cortez went 3-4 with two RBI’s, two runs scored, and a stolen base.  Cortez was named hitter of the game.

Westerner

In Game 1 at WesternerNTX Eagles 2021 defeated Lubbock Assasins by a score of 14-2.  For NTX, Brett Tanksley went 3-3 with three RBI’s and was named player of the game.  Ian Collier went 2-3 with two RBI’s and John Poe had a triple with one RBI.  Collier and Poe were both named hitters of the game.

NTX Eagles 2021 defeted Houston A’s Black 2021, 11-2, in Game 2 from Westerner.  At the plate for NTX, Brett Tanksley went 2-3 with one RBI, one run scored, and was named hitter of the gameKody Clark went 1-2 with one RBI and pitched two innings with two strikeouts.  Clark was named player of the game.

C3 Futures narrowly defeated NTX Dirtbags 2021, 6-5, in Game 3 from WesternerClayton Jenkins went 1-3 with a triple and three RBI’s for C3 Futures.  He was named player of the gameBen Stevenson (2-3 with one RBI) and Cole Roberts (1-3 with two RBI’s) also had good game for C3 Futures.  Stevenson and Roberts were both named hitters of the game.

In Game 4 from Westerner, West Texas Edge defeated Houston A’s Gold 2021, 8-2.  For West Texas, Andrew Flatt went 1-3 with a triple and one run scored while Kyler Wagaman went 1-3 with a triple and one run.  Both Flatt and Wagaman were named players of the game.  Also to note, Lucas Greenlee went 1-2 with one RBI.

ABA Baca defeated Houston A’s Black 2020, 8-3, in Game 5 from WesternerAlec Stanfield was solid on the mound for ABA Baca.  Stanfield pitched a complete game and only allowed two hits.  He was named pitcher of the gameRyan Martinez went 2-3 with a triple and four RBI’s on his way to being named player of the game.

Frozen Ropes Madison defeated Lobos Baseball 2021, 13-8, in Game 1 at Frenship HS.  For Frozen Ropes, Tristin Laughlin went 2-3 with two doubles, two RBI’s, and was named player of the gameTristan Curless went 2-4 with a double and three RBI’s on his way to being named hitter of the game.  Also to note, Jake Gilbert had a triple while Kaylom Costs had a double for Frozen Ropes.

LBA Randolph defeated Amarillo BA Hoffman, 8-2, in Game 2 from Frenship HS.  LBA’s Dylan Stephens pitched seven innings with eight strikeouts and only allowed two runs.  He also went 2-3 with a double and one RBI at the plate.  Stephens was named player of the gameTrevor Roper went 2-3 with two RBI’s and he was named hitter of the game.  

In Game 3 from Frenship HS, Cooperstown Cobras defeated LBA Powell, 4-1.  For Cooperstown, Jackson Brown took control of the game on the mound.  Brown pitched seven innings with eight strikeouts and only allowed one earned run.  He was named player of the game.  On the mound for LBA Powell, Cameron Kral pitched 6.2 innings in relief and had ten strikeouts.  Kral was named pitcher of the game.  

LCU

Lubbock Assassins narrowly defeated Lubbock Raiders, 8-7, In Game 1 at LCU.  The Lubbock Raiders scored four runs in the top of the 6th inning to take the lead but the Lubbock Assassins were able to pull off a walk-off win in the bottom of the 7th inning.  Johnny Gomez III went 2-2 with a triple, a single, and two runs scored for the Lubbock Assassins.  He was named player of the game.  On the mound, Timothy ‘Cole’ Riojas pitched five innings with one strikeout and he was named pitcher of the game.  For the Lubbock Raiders, Charlie Robinson went 2-3 with a home run, a triple, and three RBI’s. 

In Game 2 from LCU, San Antonio Angels Blue defeated Houston A’s Black 2021, 12-2.  San Antonio scored seven runs in the bottom of the 4th inning to break the game open and secure the win.  Cole Wiechring went 2-3 with two singles, one run scored, a  stolen base, and he was named player of the gameDawson Smith pitched five innings with seven strikeouts and only allowed two walks.  Smith was named pitcher of the game.

In Game 3 from LCU, NTX Eagles 2021 defeated Lubbock Raiders, 9-1.  NTX Eagles scored four runs in the 1st inning and were able to roll to victory behind their pitching.  On the mound, Jacob Prokarym pitched three scoreless innings with five strikeouts and only allowed one hit.  He was named pitcher of the gameBrett Tanksley went 2-3 with a triple, a single, one RBI, a stolen base, and was named player of the game.  

Clutch Baseball defeated Frozen Ropes Heath, 13-2, in Game 4 from LCU.  Clutch Baseball scored four runs in the 1st inning and five runs in the 2nd inning to take control of the game early.  Storm Hierholzer led the offense by going 3-3 with a triple, two singles, four RBI’s, and three runs scored.  He was named player of the game.  On the mound, Kal Edmundson pitched three innings with five strikeouts and only allowed two hits on his way to being named pitcher of the game.

Lubbock Christian HS

In Game 1 from Lubbock Christian HS, NTX Blackhawks defeated ABA Baca, 16-6.  Player of the game was Cesar Martinez for NTX Blackhawks.  Martinez went 3-3 with three RBI’s and one run scored.  Teammate, Jacob Escalon went 3-4 with two doubles, two RBI’s, and two runs scored.  He was named hitter of the gameJustin Veloz pitched 2.2 scoreless innings for NTX Blackhawks.  He had three strikeouts, only allowed one hit, and was named pitcher of the game

Odessa Rage defeated Houston A’s Black 2020, 5-4, in Game 3 from Lubbock Christian HS.  Odessa’s Aleck Villa had a good game at the plate.  Villa went 3-3 with two RBI’s, a stolen base, and he was named player of the game.

Flat Bill Baseball defeated LBA Ramos, 13-3, in Game 1 from Lubbock Cooper HS.  For Flat Bill Baseball, Jordan Valdez was impressive at the plate.  Valdez went 2-2 with two triples, four RBI’s, and three runs scored.  He was named player of the game.

In Game 2 from Lubbock Cooper HS, ABA Bunch defeated NTX Eagles, 12-2.  Derek Romero lead the offense for ABA Bunch.  Romero went 3-4 with two RBI’s and was named player of the game.  On the mound, Ryan Lovato pitched five innings and only allowed two earned runs.  He was named pitcher of the game.

LBA Fortney narrowly defeated NTX Dirtbags 2020, 7-6, in Game 3 from Lubbock Cooper HS.  For LBA Fortney, Jaxson Edwards went 2-2 with a double, two RBI’s, and was named player of the game.  

O’Banion

C3 Futures defeated West Texas Edge, 15-9, in Game 1 from O’BanionCole Roberts pitched five innings with four strikeouts for C3 Futures.  Roberts allowed three walks and was named pitcher of the game.  Teammate, Quaid Tschetter went 3-4 with a triple, a double, a single, and one RBI.  He was named player of the game.

In Game 2 from O’Banion, NTX Dirtbags 2020 defeated Houston A’s Gold 2021, 10-6.  Braedyn Eicke was named player of the game for his performance on the mound.  Eicke pitched 6.2 innings with two strikeouts and allowed four walks.  At the plate, Blake Hadsell went 1-3 with a three RBI triple and he was named hitter of the game.

Texas Tech

In Game 1 from Texas Tech, Amarillo BA Wright defeated Lobos Baseball 2020, 16-3.  On the mound, Coby Bolen pitched five innings with eight strikeouts for Amarillo.  He only allowed two earned runs and was named pitcher of the gamePeyton Conner went 3-4 with an inside-the-park home run, two triples, four RBI’s, and two runs scored.  He was named player of the game.

DBAT Tompkins defeated West Texas Outlaws, 16-3, in Game 2 at Texas Tech.  For DBAT, Luke Piper went 4-4 with a triple, a double, three RBI’s, three runs scored, and one stolen base.  Piper was named player of the gameBranden Dito pitched five innings with four strikeouts, zero walks, and was named pitcher of the game.

NTX Dirtbags 2020 defeated Houston A’s Gold 2021, 12-0, in Game 2 from Lubbock Christian UniversityJosh Williams went 2-4 with a double, a single, four RBI’s, and two runs scored for NTX Dirtbags.  Williams was named player of the game.  On the mound, Joseph Fenner pitched five scoreless innings with six strikeouts and only allowed three walks.  Fenner was named pitcher of the game.

In Game 5 from Lubbock Christian University, ABA Foote defeated DBAT Elite Tompkins, 3-0.  ABA Foote scored three runs in the 4th inning and coursed behind the arm of Keith Alvarado.  He pitched seven scoreless innings with four strikeouts and did not allow a walk.  Alvarado was named player of the game.

Lubbock Cooper HS

San Antonio Angels defeated Amarillo BA Hoffman, 10-5, in Game 1 from Lubbock Cooper HS.  At the plate for San Antonio, Ulysses Nieves Jr. went 3-4 with a double and four RBI’s.  Nieves was a major reason for his team’s win and he was named player of the game.

In Game 2 from Lubbock Cooper HS, Lobos Baseball 2021 narrowly defeated NTX Dirtbags 2021, 13-11.  The offensive attack for Lobos Baseball was led by Leonel Parra.  Parra went 4-5 with a double, three RBI’s, two stolen bases, and he was named player of the game.

In Game 3 from Lubbock Cooper HS, Lubbock Assassins narrowly defeated Edge, 6-4.  On the mound for Lubbock, Ryan Quintanilla pitched a complete game for the win.  Quintanilla was named player of the game.  For Edge, Michael Weidner went 1-3 with three RBI’s.  

C3 Futures Capps defeated Frozen Ropes Madison, 9-6, in Game 4 at Lubbock Cooper HS.  For C3 Futures, Ben Stevenson went 2-2 with two RBI’s, two runs scored, and two walks.  Stevenson was named player of the game.

NTX Eagles 2021 defeated Lubbock Assassins, 11-1, in Game 5 from Lubbock Cooper HSBrett Tanksley pitched a complete game with five strikeouts and one allowed one run.  He also went 3-4 with a stolen base and one run sccored.  Tanksley was named player of the game.  His teammate, Ty Johnson went 2-3 with three runs scored and two stolen bases.  Johnson was named hitter of the game.

Texas Tech

In Game 1 from Texas Tech, ABA Baca defeated Lobos Baseball 2020, 11-3.  For ABA Baca, Austin Smith went 2-2 with three RBI’s, two runs scored, two stolen bases, and he was named player of the game.  His teammate, Ryan Martinez was impressive on the mound pitching four innings while only giving up one earned run.  Martinez did not allow any walks and he was named pitcher of the game.

Cooperstown Cobras defeated Houston A’s 2020 Black, 9-5, in Game 2 at Texas TechGrant Zwald pitched six innings with four strikeouts for Cooperstown and he was named pitcher of the game.  At the plate, Jace Essig went 2-2 with two RBI’s, one run scored, and one walk.  Essig was named player of the game.

Odessa Rage defeated Flat Bill Baseball, 9-0, in Game 3 from Texas Tech.  For Odessa, Aleck Villa pitched six scoreless innings with four strikeouts, and only allowed two walks.  He also went 3-4 with one RBI, one run scored, and stolen base.  Villa was named player of the game.

In Game 4 from Texas Tech, ABA Bunch narrowly defeated Texas Blackhawks Garibay, 9-8.  Derek Romero went 2-2 with three RBI’s and one walk for ABA Bunch.  Romero was hit by a pitch during his last at-bat and got his team the walk-off win.  He was named player of the game.

In Game 5 from Texas TechABA Bunch once again came away with the close victory. This time, ABA defeated Houston A’s 15U Gold, 5-4.  Derek Romero threw seven gutsy innings striking out eight and giving up six hits. He was named player of the game. Hitter of the game was Isaiah Ural who drove in the game winning RBI in extras to win the game.

Texas Tech

ABA Foote defeated ABA Bunch, 6-2, in the Five Tool West 15U Championship Game from Texas Tech. For ABA Foote, Jacob Berry went 2-3 with a double, three RBI’s, and he was named player of the game. On the mound, Noah Brewer pitched five innings with four strikeouts and he only allowed one hit. Brewer was named pitcher of the game.

C3 Futures Capps defeated NTX Eagles 2021, 16-5, in the Five Tool West 14U Championship Game from Texas Tech. Cole Kirkpatrick pitched five innings and had three strikeouts for C3 Futures. He also went 3-4 with four RBI’s at the plate. Kirkpatrick was named player of the game.

Frozen Ropes Heath defeated LBA Fortney, 17-7, in a Consolation Game from Texas Tech. The offense for Frozen Ropes was led by Jonathan Gamboa. Gamboa had a home run and drove in five of the seventeen runs for Frozen Ropes. He was named player of the game.

In the last Consolation Game from Texas Tech, West Texas Outlaws defeated LBA Ramos, 9-1. At the plate, Zakary Betancourt went 2-3 with one triple and an inside-the-park home run (watch in the video above). He also had two runs batted in. Braden Benton went 2-2 with two runs batted in. Both were named players of the game. Also to note, three Outlaw pitchres combined for a four-hitter in the seven innings.
