TMI Sports Medicine Clutch Performance of the Day

Pro Source Breeding‘s Carson Cox battled his way to a close 2-1 victory over Dallas Patriots Brooks in Game 3 from Weatherford. He went six one-hit innings striking out six when his team needed a sharp performance out of him.

DBU

In Game 1 from DBU, Texas Stix 17U Red defeated Pro Source Athletics Hernandez, 5-1. Tanner Rhodes had a sharp outing going six innings and striking out three. He gave up three hits with one walk allowed. Rhodes was named player of the game. At the plate, Blake Empkey went 1-1 with one RBI. He walked twice and ended up picking up hitter of the game.

In Game 2 from DBU, Texas Blackhawks beat Marucci Elite Texas 2018 Najera, 10-2. Colten Davis threw four innings striking out four with no earned runs allowed. He hit 89 MPH on the radar gun. Davis was named pitcher of the game. Jake Petty picked up player of the game after going 3-3 with one double, one RBI, one run scored, and one stolen base.

Texas Stix 17U Black beat Thrive Baseball, 4-0, in Game 3 from DBU. For Thrive, Chandler Arnold pitched six innings and struck out 11. He gave up eight hits and four earned runs. Arnold also hit 91 MPH on the radar gun. For the Stix, Nicco Cole went all seven innings striking out 10. He gave up four hits with no earned runs and no walks on his way to player of the game.

In Game 4 from DBU, Texas Stix 17U South defeated Dallas Tigers 17U Johnson, 6-5, in the last inning on a walk-off wild pitch. Standing out in the game for the Tigers was Preston Lacy. He hit a huge three-run double on his way to player of the game. For the Stix, Taylor Grimes had a great evening. He went 2-2 with one double, one triple and two runs batted in.

TCU

AS Sundevils 15U Sumbler beat DBAT Wallace, 9-2, in Game 1 from TCU. On the mound for the Sundevils, Brandon Scriber threw 6.2 inning striking out seven. He gave up four hits and one earned run on his way to pitcher of the game. At the plate, Cade Sumbler went 2-3 with one double (see below), two runs batted in, one run scored, and one stolen base. Sumbler was named player of the game.

In Game 2 from TCU, NTX Dirtbags 17U defeated Texas Oilers 17U, 2-1. For the Dirtbags, Riley Taylor went a strong six innings with seven strikeouts and four hits. He didn’t give up any earned runs on his way to player of the game. On offense, Dirtbags’ Sean Klein led the charge going 2-3 with one double and two runs batted in. He was named hitter of the game. Also to note, Oilers’ Ryland Kerby went 2-2.

UTA

Fort Worth Gators beat NTX Dirtbags 16U, 2-1, in Game 1 from UTA. It was a pitcher’s duel as both NTX’s Matt Marlow and Gators’ David Johnson went all seven innings. Marlow struck out seven with three hits allowed. He didn’t give up any earned runs, but two runs were scored and he was pegged with the loss. Johnson got the W by striking out three with four hits and one earned run. He was named player of the game.

In a close Game 2 from UTA, AS Sundevils 16U Redding defeated Fort Worth Gators, 2-0. Both pitchers had great performances. For the Gators, Cameron Baker went five one-hit innings with one strikeout and one earned run. For the Sundevils, Joshua Scott threw all seven inning with five hits, no earned runs and four strikeouts. He didn’t issue any walks and was named player of the game.

Fort Worth Cats 16U beat Arlington Heat 16U, 11-0, in Game 3 from UTA. Brandon Sanders was on fire going 4-4 with three doubles, three runs batted in and two runs scored. He was named player of the game for his outstanding performance. Not too far behind him at the plate was Benny Mayo. He went 2-3 with two doubles, one RBI and two runs scored. Pierce Morris went 2-4 with one double, three runs batted in and two runs scored. On the mound, Asher Zapata threw four innings with two strikeouts.

In Game 4 from UTA, North Texas Bulldogs beat NTX Eagles Elite 16U, 4-0. Matt Haley started the game for the Bulldogs going four one-hit innings with five strikeouts. He was named player of the game. In relief, Collin Curry threw three one-hit innings striking out just as many (3). For the Eagles, Zackary Schmalz went three no-hit innings with two walks. And standing out at the plate for the Bulldogs was Aaron Tesei. He went 1-2 with one double, one RBI and one run scored.

Weatherford

In Game 1 from Weatherford College, Texas Stix 16U Red beat Texas Lions, 4-3. Hagen Coin went 2-3 with one double and two runs batted in on his way to player of the game. Pitcher of the game was Stix’s Dylan Scheurich who pitched three one-hit innings with one strike out and no runs allowed.

In Game 2 from Weatherford, DFW Twins defeated Arlington Heat 18U, 4-1. Twins’ Joseph Connelly threw all seven inning striking out four with no earned runs. He picked up player of the game. For the Heat, Bryce Hackett had a nice outing on the mound going five two-hit innings with three strikeouts and no runs allowed. Hitter of the game was Twins’ Colt Davis who went 2-3 with one RBI.

In Game 3 from Weatherford, Pro Source Breeding beat Dallas Patriots Brooks, 2-1. For the Patriots, Connor Jackson threw five innings striking out five with four hits and two earned runs. For Pro Source, Carson Cox threw six one-hit innings with six strikeouts and no earned runs. He picked up pitcher of the game. At the plate, Cole Tidmore went 2-2 with one RBI and two stolen bases. He was named player of the game.

Down two runs in the top of the last inning between Hunter Pence Allen and Team Citius (Brewer HS, Game 1), Julian Rojas hit a two-run inside-the-park home run. His clutch play won his team the game and the TMI Sports Medicine Clutch Performance of the Day.

Brewer HS

Hunter Pence Allen beat Team Citius, 4-3, in Game 1 from Brewer HS. Julian Rojas went 1-3 with two runs batted in. He had the game-winning inside-the-park home run and was named player of the game. Pitcher of the game was Hunter Pence Allen’s Quinton Carpenter. He threw four innings striking out eight with two earned runs.

In Game 2 from Brewer HS, Premier Baseball Futures Evans beat San Antonio Kings Martinez, 6-3. Ryan Rusinovich went 2-3 with one triple. Jared Alvarez-Lopez went 2-3 with one triple and one RBI. He picked up player of the game for his performance.

Lobos Baseball 2019 defeated Border Bombers 16U, 13-1, in Game 3 from Brewer HS. Lobos’ Ashton Ford went 2-3 with one double, three runs batted in and two runs scored. Michael Gresham went 3-4 with one double, one triple, three runs batted in, and two runs scored on his way to player of the game. Pitcher of the game was Jared Sherer who threw 4.2 two-hit innings striking out four.

North Texas Bulldogs defeated MBA Navy, 5-4, in Game 4 from Brewer HS. Collin Curry went 2-3 with two runs batted in and was named player of the game. Sean Porter went 1-3 with one triple and two runs batted in, and Jonathan Bedingfield went 1-3 with one triple.

DBU

In Game 1 from DBU, Austin Elite beat Sticks Baseball Academy, 6-4. For Sticks, Peyton Holt went 2-3 with one double, one RBI and two stolen bases. For Elite, Chad Dixon went 2-3 with two runs batted in and two stolen bases. Patrick Dilullo went 2-3 with two triples and two runs batted in. He was named player of the game. Pitcher of the game was Willie Burke who threw three one-hit innings striking out six with two earned runs allowed. He hit 91 MPH on the radar gun as well.

Houston Athletics 17U Santiago defeated C3 Futures Capps, 6-5, in Game 2 from DBU. For C3, Zach Jordan went 1-1 with one RBI and two runs scored. He walked three times in the contest. Jake Miller went 2-3 with one double and one run scored. Player of the game was Houston’s Antonio Cantu. He went 2-3 with one RBI and one run scored.

In Game 3 from DBU, Dallas Patriots Brooks beat Clutch Athletics 17U, 5-3. For Clutch, Justin Dunlap went 2-3 with one run scored. For the Patriots, Cory McMann went 2-2 with one run scored. Nick Davis went 1-3 with one double and two runs batted in. Davis was named hitter of the game. Player of the game was Cesar Paz who threw five innings striking out four with no earned runs.

In Game 4 from DBU, Pro Source Breeding beat Team Louisiana, 11-6. Anthony Villalobos went 2-4 with one triple, three runs batted in and two runs scored. Villalobos was named player of the game. James Bower went 2-4 with one triple, two runs batted in and one run scored. For Team Louisiana, Chance Stone went 2-4 with one triple and two runs scored. Alex Egan went 2-2 with one double, one run and one stolen base.

Marucci Elite Texas 2018 Dunn defeated Pro Source Hernandez, 13-1, in Game 5 from DBU. Simeon Woods-Richardson and Caleb Black combined for a no-hitter and were named co-players of the game. Woods-Richardson struck out six hitters over three scoreless innings pitched and Black struck out three hitters and allowed zero earned runs in his two innings pitched. Woods-Richardson also hit 96 MPH which you can watch in the video below. Wilson Ehrhardt went 2-3 with one double, three runs batted in, and two runs scored and was named hitter of the game. Other notable performers were Richard Diaz (3-3 with one RBI and two runs scored) and Gavin Machado (2-2 with one RBI and one run scored).

Fossil Ridge

In Game 1 from Fossil Ridge, Ontario Blue Jays Steed beat Dallas Tigers Johnson, 11-4. Dawson Walters went 2-3 with a double, grand slam (see the blast below) and six runs batted in on his way to player of the game. On the mound, Jacob Kush threw four innings striking out six with one earned run. Kush was named pitcher of the game.

In Game 2 from Fossil Ridge, Texas Stix South defeated Marucci Elite Texas 2018 Lynch, 13-11. Player of the game was Will Buchholz who hit a double, one home run and drove in four runs. Pitcher of the game was Ryan Quinn who threw 5.2 innings striking out three. Also to note, Stix’s Javier Torres went 3-5 with one RBI. Caleb Silvia went 2-3 with three runs batted in. Marucci’s Luke Repka went 4-4 and Brady Miller went 3-4 with two doubles and four runs batted in.

Texas Stix Black beat LBA Phillips, 6-1, in Game 3 from Fossil Ridge. Carson Hawks went 1-3 with one double and two runs batted in on his way to player of the game. Pitcher of the game was Stix’s Adam Canada who threw four innings striking out five with three hits and one earned run allowed. Also to note, Stix’s Nick Pierce went 2-3 with one RBI and one run scored. LBA’s Dakota Champagne went 2-2 with one RBI.

John Paul II

Game 1 at John Paul II ended in a 3-3 tie between WT Elite and NWA Prospects 16U. Player of the game was Will Akins who threw four innings in relief keeping his team in the game and ready for a comeback. Akins also struck out three with three hits and no runs allowed. Hitter of the game was Elite’s Caleb Huertz who went 1-2 with one triple, one RBI and one run scored. Also to note, NWA’s Parker Charlton went 1-4 with two runs batted in.

In Game 2 from John Paul II, Arlington Heat 18U beat Texas Stix 16U Red, 8-3. Brooks Williams went 4-4 with one double, two runs batted in and one run scored on his way to player of the game. Dillon Eatman went 2-4 with two doubles and one run scored. Also to note, Jared Taylor went 2-3 with one double and two runs scored.

Texas Lions defeated Hit King Baseball Academy, 5-4, in Game 3 from John Paul II thanks to a walk-off double from Zachary Cobb. Cobb scored Michael Heiskell who made a great slide at the plate (see below) to win the game. Cobb was named player of the game. On the mound, Reid Risenhoover threw all seven innings striking out six with two earned runs on his way to pitcher of the game. Also to note, Lions’ Jacob Blakney made a full extension diving catch down the line in left field to save a run in the game.

In Game 4 from John Paul II, Dallas Tigers 17U Durham beat DFW Twins, 3-2. Bijan Kamalipour went 1-3 with one home run, two runs batted in and one run scored on his way to player of the game. Pitcher of the game was Steven Pruett who threw 5.2 innings with seven strikeouts and one earned run. Also to note, Twins’ Chance Ragsdale went 3-3.

Mizuno Baseball defeated Thrive Baseball, 5-2, in Game 5 from John Paul II. Adam Houghtaling struck out six hitters and allowed just one earned run and three hits in six innings pitched. Houghtaling was named player of the game. Oscar Kanada went 2-3 with one triple, one run scored, and one stolen base and was named hitter of the game.

Rockwall Heath

In Game 1 from Rockwall Heath, Gators Baseball narrowly defeated Arlington Heat 16U, 7-6. For the Gators, Cameron Baker went 2-3 with one RBI and one run scored. Robbie Beck went 3-3 with two runs scored. Beck was named player of the game.

In Game 2 from Rockwall Heath, Fort Worth Cats 16U defeated C3 Futures Worley, 15-3. For the Cats, Caden Trice went 1-1 with one double, two runs batted in and three runs scored. Benny Mayo went 1-3 with two runs batted in and one run scored. Rhett Maynard went 1-2 with one home run, four runs batted in and three runs scored. He also threw four shutout innings striking out four. Maynard was named player of the game.

In Game 3 from Rockwall Heath, NTX Dirtbags 16U defeated AS Sundevils 16U Redding, 9-3. For the Dirtbags, Connor O’Neal went 1-1 with one triple, two runs batted in, two runs scored, and three walks. On the bump, Clayton McClenan threw five inning striking out three with four hits and one earned run allowed. Player of the game was Jose Luna who went 3-3 with one double and two runs scored.

In Game 4 from Rockwall Heath, C3 Futures Worley beat Gators Baseball, 15-4. Cade Hamilton went 2-4 with one double, one home  run, six runs batted in, and two runs scored on his way to player of the game. Also to note, Will Johnston went 3-3 with three runs batted in, two runs scored and one stolen base.

TCU

In Game 1 from TCU, Lubbock Raiders defeated NWA Prospects, 4-2. Caylor Dannevik threw 5.2 innings striking out three on his way to player of the game. Hitter of the game was Trey Stephens who went 1-3 with two runs batted in.

In Game 2 from TCU, WT Elite beat Premier Baseball Futures Auippa, 7-2. Dryden Virden went 2-4 with one double, one triple and four runs batted in. He was named player of the game. Also to note, Rance Rosas went 2-2 with one triple, three runs scored and two stolen bases.

UTA

Game 1 at UTA ended in a 2-2 tie between Texas Oilers 17U and BBA Titans Cavalli. For the Oilers, Kade McCormick went 6.2 innings striking out three with five hits and two earned runs. At the plate, Cole Hill went 2-3 with one RBI which tied the game in the bottom of the 7th. For the Titans, Brett Biggs threw all seven innings striking out six. He gave up six hits and one earned run on his way to player of the game.

NTX Dirtbags 17U and Colorado Slammers 17U Martin tied 7-7 in Game 2 from UTA. Zack Gregory went 2-3 with two doubles, one RBI and two runs scored on his way to player of the game. Also to note, Slammers’ Justin Olson went 2-2 with one double, one RBI and two runs scored.

In Game 3 from UTA, Marucci Elite Texas 2018 Najera beat Premier Baseball Futures Nixon, 9-6. Nick Duran went 3-4 with one double, one triple, one RBI, and one run scored on his way to player of the game. Also to note, Justin Childers went 3-5 with one double, one RBI and one run scored. Benny Hernandez went 1-3 with one double, three runs batted in and one run scored.

In Game 4 from UTA, Texas Blackhawks beat SA Kings Benavidez, 7-5. Cesar Gomez went 3-4 with two doubles, three runs batted in and one run scored. On the mound, he hit 93 MPH. Gomez threw two innings striking out two batters. He was named player of the game.

Cooper Jauz hit a walk-off RBI single to lead Team Rawlings Moulton to a 4-3 victory over Texas Stix Red 17U in Game 5 from UTA. Jauz went 1-3 with one RBI for the game and was named player of the game. Steve Hayward allowed just two hits and zero earned runs while striking out five hitters in five innings pitched.

Weatherford

In Game 1 from Weatherford, North Texas Bulldogs beat Lobos Baseball 2019, 6-4. For the Bulldogs, Cole Kracmer threw five innings striking out four with two earned runs. He was named pitcher of the game. At the plate, Marcos Guereca went 2-3 with one triple and three runs batted in. Guereca picked up player of the game.

Midland Baseball Academy shutout NTX Eagles 2019, 11-0, in Game 2 from Weatherford. Brice Floyd and Austin Price combined for a three-hitter. Floyd went three innings striking out one with two hits allowed. He was named pitcher of the game. At the plate, Ivan Dominguez went 2-3 with one double, one triple and three runs batted in. He picked up player of the game for his performance.

Houston Athletics 15U defeated DBAT Wallace, 13-5, in Game 3 from Weatherford. For DBAT, Stephen Ranieri went 2-2 with one RBI. For the A’s, Carson Keithley went 2-2 with one RBI, three runs scored, two walks, and two stolen bases on his way to player of the game.

AS Sundevils Sumbler defeated Trombly Baseball Colorado, 11-1, in Game 4 from Weatherford. Cade Sumbler was a dude on the mound and at the plate. He went 2-3 with one triple, three runs batted in, one run, and one stolen base. He also threw five innings striking out nine with three hits and one earned run. Sumbler was named player of the game. Also to note, Laki Ellis went 2-4 with one double and two runs batted in.

NTX Longhorns defeated Woodlands Premier, 9-4, in Game 5 from Weatherford College. Dalton Beck went 3-3 with one double, one RBI, three runs scored, and one stolen base and was named player of the game. Grayson Hurst struck out eight hitters in three innings pitched. Hurst allowed just one hit and one earned run and was named pitcher of the game.

Texas Blackhawks beat Premier Baseball Futures Nixon, 3-0, in Game 1 from Brewer HS. Jonathan Castillo was named player of the game after going six innings and striking out five. Christian Mendez, Cesar Gomez and Kademon Graff all went 2-3 with one RBI.

Marucci Elite Texas 2018 Najera beat SA Kings 17U Benavidez, 12-0, in Game 2 at Brewer HS. For Marucci, Matthew Castenada went 2-3 with one double and one RBI. Connor Denham threw five shutout innings with three hits allowed on his way to pitcher of the game. Dallas Patriots Brooks beat Team Louisiana, 12-2, in Game 4 from Brewer HS. Brooks Helmer was player of the game after going 2-3 with two doubles and four runs batted in. Tanner Lindlsy went 2-3 with one double, one triple and two runs batted in. And Preston Baumgartner went 2-3 with three runs batted in.

North Texas Longhorns beat Trombly Baseball Colorado 15U, 9-1, in Game 5 from Brewer HS. Cole Latos went 2-3 with one double and one home run. He picked up player of the game for his performance.

In Game 2 from DBU, Houston A’s 15U Gold beat NTX Longhorns 15U Boddie, 11-3. Longhorns’ Cole Latos went 3-3 with one double and one run scored. Athletics’ Rome Shubert went 1-3 with one triple, four runs batted in and one run scored. Shubert was named player of the game.

Fossil Ridge

Alex Vergara threw all seven as Texas Stix 16U Red beat DFW Twins, 4-0, in Game 1 from Fossil Ridge. The Stix starting pitcher struck out two batters while give up two hits an no runs on his way to the victory and player of the game. Hitter of the game was Hagen Coin who went 2-3 with one double and two runs batted in.

In Game 2 from Fossil Ridge, Dallas Tigers 17U Durham beat Texas Lions, 14-3. For the Lions, Matthew Colman went 2-3 with one double and one run scored. For the Tigers, Bryson Hudgens went 2-3 with one double, two runs batted in and two runs scored. Jack Wehrley went 3-3 with three runs batted in and two runs scored. Player of the game was Evan Arrington who went 2-3 with one home run, two runs batted in and two runs scored.

In Game 3 from Fossil Ridge, Hit Kings Baseball Academy defeated Arlington Heat 18U, 6-5, in eight innings. For the Heat, Jared Taylor went 2-4 with one home run (see below), three runs batted in and one run scored. For Hit Kings, Konner Sabrsula went 2-3 with one triple, one RBI and two runs scored. He was named hitter of the game. Player of the game was Christopher Vann. He threw seven innings striking out 10 with three earned runs. Simeon Woods-Richardson had another excellent game as Marucci Elite Texas 2018 Dunn defeated Texas Stix 17U Red, 11-1, in Game 1 from John Paul II. The Texas commit went 2-4 with one double, one home run (see below), five runs batted in, and two runs scored on his way to player of the game. On the mound, Marucci’s Alberto Gonzalez III threw five three-hit innings striking out five. He was named pitcher of the game. Also to note, Bryson Jackson went 2-2 with one double, three runs batted in and four stolen bases. He played great defense in the field as well.

Andrew Ellis delivered the walk-off hit as Pro Source Hernandez beat Team Rawlings Moulton, 5-4, in Game 2 from John Paul II. Ellis finished 2-4 with two runs batted in and picked up player of the game. Pitcher of the game was Austin Liu who threw five innings striking out two with four hits and no earned runs allowed. Hitter of the game was Joshua Thurman. He went 3-3 with one double, two runs batted in and one run scored. Also to note, Team Rawlings’ Seth McLaughlin threw four shutout innings and struck out six.

Sean Klein hit the go-ahead two-run double in the top of the 7th to help NTX Dirtbags 17U defeat BBA Titans Cavalli, 7-5, in Game 3 from John Paul II. For his heroics, Klein was named player of the game. Also to note, Kristopher Chappell went 2-3 with one double, one run scored and two stolen bases. Titans’ Benjamin Bayless went 2-4 with two doubles, two runs batted in and one run scored.

In Game 4 from John Paul II, Colorado Slammers beat Texas Oilers 17U Hancock, 12-3. Justin Olson went 2-4 with one double, one triple, two runs batted in, and two runs scored. Brodie Marino went 3-4 with one RBI and one run scored. Player of the game was Nick Merone. He went 3-5 with one double, one triple, one RBI, and two runs scored.

In Game 5 from John Paul II, Houston A’s 15U Gold beat Woodlands Premier 15U, 9-3. Ryan Pavlik threw four innings striking out one batter with one earned run. He went 1-2 with one RBI at the plate and was named player of the game. Hitter of the game was Premier’s Will Thomas. He went 3-3 with one double, one triple, one RBI, one runs scored, and two stolen bases. Also to note, Lane Williams went 2-3 with one triple and one RBI.

Rockwall Heath

Sticks Baseball Academy defeated C3 Futures 17U Capps, 4-1. Player of the game was Connor Noland who threw seven innings striking out 11. He gave up three hits and one earned run with no walks issues. Also to note, Sticks’ Blake Adams went 1-3 with one home run (see below), three runs batted in and one run scored.

In Game 2 from Rockwall Heath, Austin Elite beat Houston A’s 17U Santiago, 6-4. For Elite, Chad Dixon went 1-2 with two runs batted in and one stolen base on his way to player of the game. Also to note, Grant Gaspard threw three innings striking out two with no walks allowed.

In Game 3 from Rockwall Heath, Sticks Baseball Academy beat Houston Athletics 17U Santiago, 11-1. Evan Hiatt threw four no-hit innings in relief striking out eight batters on his way to player of the game. Also to note, Cason Tollett went 1-4 with a grand slam to end the game in the 6th.

In Game 4 from Rockwall Heath, Austin Elite beat C3 Futures 17U Capps, 7-4. Dontae Woodard went 2-4 with three runs batted in on his way to player of the game. Logan Fisher threw three one-hit innings striking out three with no runs allowed. And Patrick Dilullo went 3-3 with two runs scored.

TCU

Fort Worth Cats 16U beat AS Sundevils 16U Redding, 8-5, in Game 1 from TCU. Caden Trice went 2-2 with two runs batted in, two runs scored and one stolen base. Trice was named player of the game. Also to note, Kanon Doby went 2-3 with one double and one RBI.

In Game 2 from TCU, NTX Dirtbags 16U beat Arlington Heat 16U, 6-3. Connor O’Neal threw six innings striking out seven with three hits and no earned runs. He was named player of the game. Hitter of the game was Jose Luna. He went 2-3 with one RBI and one stolen base.

Corbin Hall went six innings striking out eight with eight hits and three earned runs on his way to player of the game. Hitter of the game was Trace Stephenson who went 1-3 with one double, one RBI and one run scored.

In Game 5 from TCU, Dallas Tigers 17U Durham defeated Arlington Heat 18U, 3-1. Jaret Godman threw six innings striking out 10 with five hits, one earned run, and no walks allowed. Godman was named player of the game.

UTA

Border Bombers 16U Luna defeated NTX Eagles Elite 16U, 5-3, in Game 1 from UTA. At the plate, Oscar Cardenas went 1-3 with one double, one RBI and one run scored on his way to player of the game. On the mound, Victor Perry threw six innings striking out one batter with five hits and two earned runs. Perry was named pitcher of the game.

In Game 2 from UTA, MBA Navy beat Lobos Baseball 2019, 6-2. Randall Blanscett went 2-3 with one double, two runs batted in and one run scored. Tyler Wade went 2-3 with one double, one RBI and one run scored. Wade was named player of the game. Pitcher of the game was Braden McGary. He threw five innings and struck out eight with three hits and one earned run.

Border Bombers 16U Luna beat NTX Bulldogs, 6-4, in Game 3 from UTA. Fernando Rodriguez went 2-3 with one double, three runs batted in and one run scored on his way to player of the game. Joseph Mojica threw three no-hit innings with one strikeout and no earned runs allowed. Also to note, Oscar Cardenas went 2-2 with one double, one RBI and one run scored. Jose Martinez went 1-1 with a solo home run.

Weatherford

Dallas Tigers Burgos beat NWA Prospects, 10-3, in Game 1 from Weatherford. Paden Adams went 3-3 with three runs scored and one stolen base on his way to player of the game. Pitcher of the game was Tyler Morgan who threw three innings striking out four. Also to note, Prospects’ Trevor Johnson went 1-1 with two runs batted in.

Lubbock Raiders beat Premier Baseball Futures Auippa, 10-7, in Game 2 from Weatherford. Trey Stephens went 4-4 with one double and two runs batted in. He hit the game-winning single as well. Also for the Raiders, Briley Alexander went 3-3 with one double and one run scored. For Premier, Javen Coleman went 2-2 with one RBI and one run scored.

In Game 3 from Weatherford, Dallas Tigers Burgos beat WT Elite, 6-5. Caleb Vuono hit the game-tying two-run single to help his squad win the game. He was named player of the game for his heroics. Also to note, Tigers’ Mason Green went 3-3 with one run scored. WT Elite’s Caleb Heuertz went 2-3 with two runs scored.

In Game 4 from Weatherford, Team Citius beat Premier Baseball Futures Evans, 7-6. Omar Cervantes went 2-3 with three runs batted in and was named player of the game. Pitcher of the game was Parry Duncan who threw four innings and struck out six.

In Game 5 from Weatherford, Hunter Pence Allen beat SA Kings Martinez, 3-1. For the Kings, Ryan Day threw six innings and struck out 11 batters with four hits and three earned runs. Hunter Cheek went 2-3 with one double. For Hunter Pence, Clayton Canion went 1-2 with one RBI and one run scored. He also threw six shutout innings striking out six and giving up four hits with no walks. Canion was named player of the game.

Brewer HS

Game 1 at Brewer HS ended in a 3-3 tie between LBA Phillips and Thrive Baseball. Seth Higdon threw seven innings striking out five with two hits allowed. He was named player of the game. LBA’s Dakota Champagne went 2-4 with one RBI. Thrive’s Trevor Hatton went 1-3 with one triple (see below) and two runs batted in.

In Game 2 from Brewer HS, MBA Navy beat Border Bombers Luna, 4-3. Braden McGary was player of the game after going 2-3 with one triple, three runs batted in and one run scored. Austin Price threw a complete game striking out four and James Cardeas of Border Bombers went 2-3 with one double and two runs batted in.

Lobos Baseball 2019 defeated NTX Eagles Elite 2019 Ausmus, 5-4, in Game 3 from Brewer HS. Michael Gresham went 2-3 with one RBI on his way to player of the game., William Tillman went 1-3 with one RBI. In Game 4 from Brewer HS, AS Sundevils Sumbler defeated Houston A’s 15U Gold, 7-2. Gabriel Vazquez went 2-3 with one RBI. On the mound, he threw all seven innings striking out four with four hits. Vazquez was named player of the game.

In Game 5 from Brewer HS, Woodlands Premier beat Trombly Baseball Colorado 15U, 9-5. Justin Harris went 2-3 with two runs batted in on his way to player of the game. Also to note, Woodlands’ Cannon Starcke had two runs batted in.

Texas Stix 2018 Black defeated Mizuno Baseball 17U, 8-5, in Game 1 from Brock HS. David Vanvooren went 2-3 with one RBI and one run scored and was named player of the game. Dylan Smith allowed just one hit and struck out five hitters in four scoreless innings pitched and was named pitcher of the game.

Colorado Slammers beat BBA Titans 17U, 4-3, in Game 2 from Brock HS. Brodie Marino went 1-2 with one walk and the game-tying RBI single in the top of the 6th. He was named player of the game. Also to note, Noah Kuzma went 2-3 with one RBI and one run scored.

He was named co-player of the game. Chance Goins went 3-4 with two runs batted in and one run scored. He was the other co-player of the game.

Clutch Athletics 17U beat Texas Stix Red 17U, 4-0, in Game 6 from Brock HS. Reed Beverly started the game throwing five no-hit innings with six strikeouts. Brittan Howeth went two innings striking out one. Both picked up players of the game.

In Game 1 from DBU, San Antonio Kings 17U Benavidez beat Premier Baseball Futures Nixon, 2-0. Dylan Bright threw 5.2 innings striking out seven with three hits on his way to player of the game. Hitter of the game was Holden Philippus who went 3-3 with one run scored and one stolen base. Also to note, Zac Vooletich went 2-3 with one double and one run scored.

In Game 2 from DBU, Marucci Elite Texas 2018 Dunn beat Team Rawlings Moulton, 16-0. Player of the game was Cole Spillar who threw five innings striking out three with three hits. Hitter of the game was Alec Carr who went 2-2 with one double, four runs batted in and two runs scored. Also to note, Bryson Jackson went 2-3 with three runs batted in and three runs scored.

Dallas Tigers Durham beat Hit King Baseball Academy, 7-3, in Game 3 from DBU. Hunter Riley went 1-2 with one triple and two runs batted in on his way to player of the game. Pitcher of the game was Jacob Godman who threw three two-hit inning striking out three with no earned runs. Also to note, Jack Wehrly went 2-3 with one RBI and one run scored. Hit King’s Andrew Skivington went 2-3 with one RBI.

Colorado Slammers scored three runs in the top of the 11th inning to defeat Ontario Blue Jays Steed, 6-3, in a 17U quarter-final game from DBU. Merone ended the game 2-4 with one double, two runs batted in, and one run scored and was named player of the game. Justin Olson crushed a two-run home run as insurance for the Slammers in the top of the 11th. Gabe Austin pitched four scoreless innings in relief allowing just one hit and striking out four hitters en route to being named pitcher of the game.

In a 17U quarter-final game from DBU, Pro Source Breeding beat Hunter Pence Allen, 3-2. Keegan Sueltz threw all seven innings striking out five with two hits and one earned run on his way to player of the game. Matthew Hunter was hitter of the game after going 1-1 with one triple, two runs batted in and two walks. Also to note, Chase Long went 2-3.

Fossil Ridge

NTX Longhorns beat DBAT Wallace, 3-2, in Game 1 from Fossil Ridge. Tyler Harris went 1-1 with the walk-off RBI single (see below). Terry Malinowski went 2-3 with one double and one RBI on his way to player of the game. DBAT’s Cole Hill went 1-2 with one RBI.

C3 Futures Worley beat Arlington Heat 16U, 10-4, in Game 2 from Fossil Ridge. Will Johnston went 1-1 with one triple, two runs batted in, two runs scored, and two walks. He was named player of the game. Also to note, C3’s Jack Angus went 1-3 with one double and two runs scored. Heat’s Christopher Gonzalez went 2-2 with two runs batted in.

Lubbock Raiders beat Dallas Tigers Burgos, 10-9, in Game 1 from John Paul II. Jett Whitfield went 1-2 with one double and three runs batted in. He scored twice and was named player of the game. Hitter of the game was Wyatt Rohmer of the Tigers. He went 3-4 with one triple, four runs batted in and two runs scored. Also to note, Caylor Dannevik went 1-2 with two runs batted in and one run scored.

In Game 2 from John Paul II, Premier Baseball Futures Auippa beat NWA Prospects, 11-7. Luke Negrete went 2-2 with three runs batted in on his way to player of the game. Hitter of the game was Timothy Williamson who went 3-3 with two runs scored and one stolen base. Also to note, NWA’s Jamison Griffin went 1-3 with one double (see below), three runs batted in and one run scored.

In Game 3 from TCU, Premier Baseball Futures Evans beat NTX Dirtbags 17U, 8-6. Blake Wilson went 4-4 with two runs batted in and one run scored on his way to player of the game. Also to note, Trent Golson went 3-4 with two runs batted in, one run scored and one stolen base.

Texas Blackhawks beat Marucci Elite Texas 2018 Dunn, 3-1, in the second 17U quarter-final game from TCU. Cesar Gomez controlled the game going all seven inning with eight strikeouts and four hits. He gave up one earned run and was named player of the game. The earned run came to Marucci’s Simeon Woods-Richardson. He hit a home run the other way (see below) and finished 1-3 on the day. Woods-Richardson was named hitter of the game.

UTA

In Game 1 from UTA, Ontario Blue Jays beat Marucci Elite Texas 2018 Lynch, 7-6. Keshawn Nurse went 3-3 with one RBI and one run scored on his way to player of the game. Also to note, Cameron Wilcox went 2-2 with one double, one RBI and one run scored. Noah Naylor went 1-3 with one double, two runs batted in and two runs scored.

In Game 2 from UTA, Team Louisiana beat Clutch Althetics 17U, 9-6. For Team Louisiana, Layne McLin went 2-3 with two doubles, one RBI and one run scored. He was named player of the game. Champ Artigues went 2-4 with one double and one run scored. For Clutch, John Hoyle went 3-4 with two doubles, one RBI and three runs scored. Isaiah Faz went 2-4 with one triple and two runs batted in.

For Pro Source, Brett Hedges went 1-2 with two runs batted in. Austin Liu went 1-3 with two runs batted in. For Stix, Brett Squires went 2-3 with one double, one triple, one RBI, and two runs scored. In the 16U semi-final from TCU, North Texas Bulldogs beat Lubbock Raiders 16U, 3-1. For the Raiders, Jarred Gibson went 2-2 with one double. He also threw out two runners from behind home plate. In a 16U semi-final game from TCU, MBA Navy beat Fort Worth Cats, 2-0, in eight innings. Cooper Jauz delivered the game-winning, two-run single in extra innings (see below) on his way to hitter of the game. Luis Rodriguez threw all eight innings striking out eight with two hits and just two walks. Rodriguez hit 90 MPH and sat 85-88 most of the game. He was named player of the game.

In the 15U Championship Game from TCU, AS Sundevils 15U Sumbler beat Houston Athletics 15U Gold, 6-3. For the Sundevils, Campbell Sullivan went 3-3 with one doubles and two runs scored on his way to player of the game. Laki Ellis went 3-3 with one RBI and one run scored. For the Athletics, Connor Dunham went 2-3 with one RBI and one run scored. Deundre’ Jones went 1-3 with one double and three runs batted in.

In the 16U Championship Game from TCU, North Texas Bulldogs beat MBA Navy, 10-8. For MBA, Cooper Jauz went 3-4 with two runs batted in and two runs scored. For the Bulldogs, Aaron Tesei went 2-4 with one double and two runs scored. William Parkhurst went 1-4 with one RBI and three runs scored. Colt Ellison went 3-4 with one RBI. Cole Kracmer went 2-3 wit one double and four runs batted in. Kracmer was named player of the game.

UTA

In a 17U semi-final from UTA, Colorado Slammers beat Austin Elite, 9-3. For the Slammers, Kevin Zapanta threw two no-hit innings striking out two. Noah Kuzma went 2-4 with one double (see below), three runs batted in and one run scored. Justin Olson went 3-4 with one double, one RBI and two runs scored. Olson was named player of the game.

In a 17U semi-final game at UTA, Texas Blackhawks beat Pro Source Breeding, 9-1. Cesar Gomez went 4-4 with one double, one home run, two runs batted in, and three runs scored. He was named player of the game. Austin Whitelock threw six innings striking out three with five hits and one run allowed. He picked up pitcher of the game. Also to note, Mateo Gil went 1-4 with a home run, two runs batted in and two runs scored.

Colorado Slammers beat Texas Blackhawks, 8-4, in the 17U Championship Game from UTA. For the Slammers, Harris Williams went 2-3 with one triple and three runs scored. Garrett Martin went 2-4 with one double, two runs batted in and one run scored. Justin Olson went 2-4 with one double, two runs batted in and one run scored. All three were named players of the game. On the mound, Ben Peterson threw four two-hit innings with one strikeout and no runs allowed. He was named pitcher of the game. Also to note, Blackhawks’ Cesar Gomez went 1-4 with a home run.

In the 17U National Division Championship from UTADallas Tigers 17U Durham beat DFW Twins, 10-7. Jaret Godman hit the go-ahead three-run home run in the seventh inning which was the difference-maker for the Tigers. He finished 3-3 with that home run, three runs batted in and two runs scored on his way to player of the game. Tigers’ Steven Pruett went 2-3 with one triple, three runs batted in and one run scored. Twins’ Morris Austin went 3-4 with one triple, two runs batted in and one run scored. Colt Davis went 2-3 with one double, one triple, one RBI, and one run scored.
