Futures Athletics Stix 17U defeated Texas Oilers 16U Hamblin, 3-1, in Game 1 from John Paul II. Eric Reece got the complete game win going all seven innings and allowed no earned runs. Reece allowed just three hits and struck out five hitters en route to being named player of the game. Taylor Holt went 1-2 with one RBI and one run scored.

Houston Athletics 17U Santiago defeated Texas Oilers 17U Hancock, 7-2, in Game 2 from John Paul II. Mark Gomez pitched six innings and allowed zero earned runs. Gomez allowed just three hits and struck out six hitters and was named pitcher of the game. Johnathon Thomas went 3-3 with one RBI, one run, and four stolen bases and picked up player of the game.

Dallas Tigers 17U Durham defeated Team Rawlings 17U Moulton, 7-3, in Game 3 from John Paul II. Connor Allen went 2-3 with one RBI and one run scored. Allen also made a tremendous play in the field and was named player of the game. Steven Pruett had a notable performance on the mound allowing zero earned runs and recording three strikeouts over two hitless innings.

Craig Ranch 7

In Game 1 from Craig Ranch 7, Frozen Ropes 16U Martin defeated Woodlands Premier 15U, 6-4. Frozen Ropes’ Joshua Acosta had a great game at second base making two diving plays on line drives in the field. On offense, he went 3-3 with two runs scored and four stolen bases. He was named player of the game. For Woodlands Premier, Cameron Caley went 2-3 with one RBI and one run scored. For Frozen Ropes, Jax Alley went 1-1 with one double, one RBI and one run scored.

DBAT 17U Gowins beat Dallas Banditos 17U Najera, 7-2, in Game 2 from Craig Ranch 7. For the Banditos, Justin Childers went 3-3 with one double. For BDAT, Ty Coleman went 2-3 with one double and three runs scored. Dominic Tamez went 1-3 with a home run and two runs batted in. And, TJ Rumfield went 3-3 with three runs batted in and one run scored on his way to player of the game (check him out in the video below).

In Game 3 from Craig Ranch 7, Cavemen 16U Harvard‘s Patrick Hail threw a no hitter to help get his squad the 2-1 win over AS Sundevils 16U Hayes. Hail went all seven innings on 97 pitches. He struck out six and walked just two batters (see below as he talks about his performance). Hail may not have even got the victory if it wasn’t for some late-inning heroics. Dalton Cooley singled to right for the walk-off victory in the seventh. He was 2-4 on the afternoon.

Dallas Mustangs 15U beat Diamond Prospects 16U, 8-1, in Game 4 from Craig Ranch 7. Jorge Aldrete threw six innings striking out four and giving up three hits. He was named player of the game. Mustangs’ Brennen Blakely went 2-4 with two runs batted in and one run scored. Alex Smith went 1-2 with a double, one RBI and one run scored. And Ryan Taylor went 1-3 with one RBI and two runs scored. For Diamond Prospects, Chase Cotton went 2-3.

AS Sundevils 16U Redding had two pitchers combine for 17 strikeouts in a no-hit 1-0 victory over Frozen Ropes 16U Florence in Game 5 from Craig Ranch 7. Starting LHP Jack Hattrup went four innings striking out 10. He earned player of the game. Coming in behind him was Bryce Fuller who threw four innings and struck out seven with one walk. For Frozen Ropes, Garrett Gearner threw two no-hit innings with one strikeout. Christian Ruebeck went 2.2 innings and struck out five with one hit. And Isaiah Rhodes went 2.1 innings no-hit and struck out three. Sundevils’ Zakary Brown got the game’s only hit and run.

Craig Ranch 8

In Game 1 from Craig Ranch 8, Lubbock Raiders 16U beat DBAT 15U Tompkins, 5-3, from Craig Ranch 8. Despite the loss, DBAT’s Luke Piper went 4-4 with one double and two runs batted in. He was named hitter of the game. For the Raiders, Caden Hensley went 3-4 with one double and two runs batted in on his way to player of the game. Also to note for DBAT, Logan Asay threw four innings and struck out six. He hit 84-85 MPH on the radar gun.

In Game 2 from Craig Ranch 8, DBAT 15U Tompkins got the 3-2 win over Round Rock Express 16U Alexander. For DBAT, Gehrig Griffis went 1-3 with one run scored. For Round Rock Express, Austin Plante went 2-3 with one double and one RBI on his way to hitter of the game. Player of the game was DBAT’s Sam Yasilli who threw four innings striking out six.

Dallas Tigers 16U Bankston got the victory by defeated Premier Baseball Futures 16U Auippa, 3-2, in Game 3 from Craig 8. On the mound for PBF, Cole Grimes threw six innings and struck out four. He gave up one earned run and was named player of the game. Tigers’ Weston Symes had two RBIs which helped power his squad to the win.

In Game 4 from Craig Ranch 8, DBAT 16U Downs beat NTX Longhorns 15U Boddie, 8-1. At the plate, DBAT’s Landon Anderson went 3-3 with one double, one home run and five runs batted in. He was named player of the game. On the mound, Luke Slahor threw five innings and struck out nine with no earned runs on his way to the victory.

C3 Futures 16U Worley defeated Houston Athletics 16U Everett, 7-4, in Game 5 from Craig Ranch 8. At the plate for the A’s, Hayde Key went 2-3 with two runs batted in. On the mound, Cooper Timmons came in for four innings of relief giving up no runs. He struck out six with just two hits allowed. For C3, Dayton Harkey threw three one-hit innings striking out six and Cade Hamilton threw four one-hit innings striking out seven. At the plate, Mikey Brinton went 2-4 with one double and one run scored. Ryan Stiles went 1-3 with one run scored. And, J Tuck Paris went 1-2 with one home run and three runs batted in. He was named player of the game.

Craig Ranch 9

In Game 1 from Craig Ranch 9, DBI Black Sox 16U Sweeten defeated C3 Futures 15U Van Poppel, 4-2. On the mound for DBI was Cole Lee who threw all sevening innings and struck out three on his way to player of the game. At the plate, C3’s Tyler Kaluza went 2-3 with a double and was named hitter of the game. C3’s Aiden Kelley went 2-3 with one run scored while Carter Pool went 2-3.

In a come-from-behind effort, Texas Oilers 16U Hamblin beat DBI Black Sox 16U Sweeten, 6-5, in Game 2 from Craig Ranch 9. For DBI, Cole Lee went 2-2 with one run scored. For the Oilers, Trent Dean went 2-4 with one home run, four runs batted in and one run scored. He was named player of the game. Also to note, Chase Cromer went 2-3 with the game-winning RBI.

In Game 3 from Craig Ranch 9, NTX Eagles Elite 16U defeated OFI Baseball Academy 16U, 8-3. On the mound, Kyle Williams threw five innings striking out seven and giving up just two hits. Kyle Busker went 2-2 with three runs scored and two stolen bases on his way to hitter of the game.

Elijah Valdez hit a home run to deep center field for Phenom Texas to tie the game up in the 7th. Cade McBride would eventually get the game-winning hit as Phenom defeated NTX Dirtbags 17U, 3-2, in Game 4 from Craig Ranch 9. McBride finished the day going 1-3 with a double and two runs batted in. He was named player of the game. Pitcher of the game was Dirtbags’ starter Rhett Halstead who threw sevening innings striking out just as many (1) and giving up one earned run.

It was quite the pitcher’s dual as Dallas Tigers Hernandez held off Premier Baseball Futures 17U Evans, 1-0. Four pitchers hit 90 miles per hour on the radar gun in this intense battle. On the mound, Jacob Meador threw four one-hit innings striking out five. He was named player of the game. At the plate, Dylan Carter went 1-2 with one double and one stolen base on his way to hitter of the game. He also threw two no-hit innings and struck out five. PBF’s Owen Meaney threw four innings and struck out seven. Connor Phillips threw one inning striking out three batters on 14 pitches and hitting 91 MPH on the radar gun.

Craig Ranch 10

In Game 1 from Craig Ranch 10, Dallas Mustangs 16U Kervin defeated AS Sundevils 15U Sumbler, 9-1. Mustangs’ Cole Antonelli went 1-3 with one double, two runs batted in and two stolen bases. Wyatt Erickson went 2-3 with one triple, two runs batted in and one run scored on his way to player of the game (watch Clift in the video below). On the mound, Nick Clift threw four two-hit innings and struck out six. He was named pitcher of the game.

In Game 2 from Craig Ranch 10, NTX Dirtbags 16U beat Dallas Mustangs 16U Kervin, 5-1. Dirtbags’ Lance Barnett went 3-3 with two doubles, one RBI and two runs scored on his way to player of the game. For the Mustangs, Rece Stapp went 2-3 with a double and one RBI. On the mound for the Dirtbags, Connor O’Neal threw 3.1 innings and struck out four with one earned run.

Round Rock Express 17U Puffer beat Dallas Banditos 17U Najera, 7-1, in Game 3 from Craig Ranch 10. Player of the game was Jacob Wilk who went 3-4 with a home run and two runs scored. Zach Thomas went 1-3 with a home run. Both Mason Montgomery and Matthew McMillan hit a double. And on the mound, Cameron Johnson (2 IP), Wesley Gafford (3 IP) and Drew Dobbins (2 IP) allowed one hit each.

In Game 4 from Craig Ranch 10, Dallas Tigers 17U Johnson beat DBAT 17U Self, 7-1. Tigers’ Ryan Puyear, Trace Stephenson combined for a one hitter. Stephenson threw three innings and struck out six himself on his way to pitcher of the game. At the plate, Tate Whittington went 2-3 with and grand slam, five RBIs, and two runs scored. He was named player of the game.

In Game 5 from Craig Ranch 10, Texas Stix 16U beat Dynasty Black 16U, 5-2. Hagen Coin went 1-3 with two runs batted in and one run scored. He had the game-tying RBI double in the 7th inning. Coin was named player of the game. On the mound, Hayden Smith threw three no-hit innings in relief striking out six on his way to pitcher of the game.

Dallas Tigers 14U Godwin defeated Dallas Mustangs 14U Haugen, 9-4, in Game 1 from Anna HS. Hector Rawley went 3-3 with one RBI (see below) and two runs scored and was named player of the game. Also notable were Cade McGarhh (3-5 with one triple and four runs scored) and Patrick Turner (3-4 with one double and two runs batted in). Also to note, Mustangs’ Connor McGinnis went 2-4 and Luke Gornell drove in two runs.

AS Sundevils 14U Ingram defeated Dallas Tigers 14U Godwin, 1-0, in Game 2 from Anna HS. Clayton Thomas allowed just one hit and zero earned runs in five innings pitched, but it wasn’t good enough to get the victory. Stil, Thomas was named player of the game for his solid effort. For the Sundevils Dakota Britt was 1-3 with a walk-off RBI double to lead his team to victory and was named hitter of the game. Gavin Perryman, Zachary Rike, Jonathan Huff, and Luke Robertson combined for seven innings pitched and four hits allowed. Rike struck out four. Also to note, Godwin’s Rawley Hector went 2-2 and walked twice.

DBAT Strike Elite 14U defeated Dallas Tigers 14U Polk, 6-4, in Game 3 from Anna HS. Dalton Balma was named player of the game. Balma went 2-2 with three runs batted in and one walk. DBAT’s Trent McCown went 1-3 with a double and one RBI. Tigers’ Arturo Ortega went 1-2 with a double, one RBI and one run scored.

Lewisville HS

Marucci Elite Texas 17U defeated Thrive Baseball, 3-1, in Game 1 from Lewisville HS. Kyle Purdy was named player of the game. Purdy went five innings allowing just three hits and one run while striking out six. Cole Reeves went 1-2 with one triple and one RBI.

Phenom Texas 16U Harvey defeated Marucci Elite Texas 15U Biggers, 4-1, in Game 2 from Lewisville HS. Justin Lambright pitched six innings allowing just three hits and zero earned runs. Lambright struck out five hitters and was named player of the game. Grayson Coltharp went 2-2 with one double and two runs scored. Erick Rey and Dylan Debuty each also hit a double in the game.

Frozen Ropes 16U Martin defeated Marucci Elite Texas 16U Mardirosian, 3-1, in Game 3 from Lewisville HS. Tyler Perez was named player of the game. Perez pitched four innings allowing three hits and one earned run. Zack Mclaughlin went three innings allowing zero runs and struck out three hitters.

Marucci Elite Texas 17U Dunn defeated C3 Futures 17U Capps, 3-0, in Game 4 from Lewisville HS. Travis Hester went four innings allowing zero runs and just one hit. Hester also struck out five hitters and was named player of the game.

Marucci Elite Texas 16U Thistlethwaite defeated Dallas Tigers 16U Burgos, 13-0, in Game 5 from Lewisville HS. Kevin Ortiz (3-3 with one double, one RBI, and two runs scored) was named player of the game. Dylan Conde was named pitcher of the game. Conde went 5.1 innings allowing zero runs and five hits while striking out six batters. Andre Duplantier II went 2-3 wit hone triple, one RBI and one run scored. Eric Benitez went 2-4 with one double, one RBI and two runs scored. For the Tigers, Paden Adams went 2-3.

Premier Baseball Futures 16U Auippa defeated Round Rock Express 16U Alexander, 7-2, in Game 1 from John Paul II HS. The player of the game was Timothy Williamson who allowed just three hits while striking out six in a complete game effort. He also went 1-4 at the plate with two runs batted in and one run scored. Jacob Gomillion went 2-3 and was named hitter of the game. For Premier Baseball, Cole Grimes went 1-2 with three runs batted in and one run scored.

Lubbock Raiders 16U and Dallas Tigers 16U Bankston played to a 5-5 tie in Game 2 from John Paul II HS. Luke Johnson went 2-2 with one home run, one double, and three runs batted in and was named player of the game. Hayden Frick (three innings pitched, two hits, zero runs, two strikeouts) and Kordell Spencer (two innings pitched, zero earned runs, three strikeouts) were named pitchers of the game. For the Raiders, Zack Swindell went 2-3 with a triple and three runs batted in. Jacob Richardson went 1-2 with one double. Check out Swindell in the video embedded below.

Rivera struck out five batters while allowing zero earned runs and just two hits over four innings. Jaycob Deese went 1-2 with one double and two runs batted in and was named hitter of the game. Also to note, Tigers’ Ben Kittay went 2-2. Marucci’s Jarrett Poehl threw three one-hit innings and struck out five.

Thrive Baseball defeated Dallas Tigers 17U Johnson, 3-2, in Game 4 from John Paul II HS. Chandler Arnold (five innings pitched with four strikeouts) was named player of the game. Tate Whittington went 1-2 with one double and one RBI and Trevor Hatton went 2-3 with two stolen bases. Whittington and Hatton were named hitters of the game.

Cajun Cayenne Baseball 17U defeated DBAT 17U Self, 9-5, in Game 5 from John Paul II HS. Dayne Galligan went 1-2 with two runs scored and one stolen base and was named player of the game. Noah Anderson struck out two hitters in one scoreless inning pitched and was named pitcher of the game.

Craig Ranch 7

Bryan Terry and Mark Ibarra combined for a no-hitter as Dallas Tigers 16U Ahearne defeated LBA 16U Walker, 8-0, in Game 1 from Craig Ranch 7. Terry struck out six hitters in five innings and was named player of the game. Ibarra recorded two strikeouts over two innings. Gideon Ethridge went 2-3 with one double and two runs batted in and was named hitter of the game.

Frozen Ropes 16U Florence defeated LBA 16U Walker, 19-1, in Game 2 from Craig Ranch 7. Adam Sheriff went 1-1 with one home run and three runs batted in and was named player of the game. Other notable hitters were Christian Ruebeck (2-3 with two runs batted in) and Cade King (1-1 with one double, two runs batted in, two runs scored, and one walk).

Marucci Elite Texas 15U Carroll defeated AS Sundevils 16U Redding, 3-0, in Game 3 from Craig Ranch 7. Michael Duncan struck out five hitters over six scoreless innings and was named player of the game. Tyler Huynh went 1-3 with one double and two runs batted in and was named hitter of the game. Sundevils’ Zakary Brown went 2-3 in this game as well.

Texas Oilers 16U Hamblin defeated NTX Eagles Elite 16U, 10-4, in Game 4 from Craig Ranch 7. Andrew Mills went 3-4 with one home run, one double, and six runs batted in. Mills was named player of the game and you can watch him talk about his Maruci bat in the video embedded below. His Oilers teammate Ethan Jeseke went 2-3 with one double, one RBI and three runs scored. Eagels’ Joshua Hughes went 1-2 with a home run and two runs batted in.

C3 Futures 15U Van Poppel defeated OFI Baseball Academy 16U, 3-1, in Game 5 from Craig Ranch 7. Tate Van Poppel struck out three batters over four scoreless innings and was named player of the game. OFI’s Josh Tankersley went 2-3.

Craig Ranch 8

NTX Longhorns 15U Boddie defeated Hunter Pence 16U Cunningham, 8-4, in Game 1 from Craig Ranch 8. Terry Malinowski went 1-2 with one double and two runs batted in and was named player of the game. Also notable, Samuel Tormos went 1-2 with two runs batted in.

Dallas Banditos 17U Najera and Marucci Elite Texas 17U Dunn played to a 1-1 tie in Game 2 from Craig Ranch 8. Connor Denham went six innings allowing zero earned runs on just two hits. Denham struck out four hitters and was named player of the game. Noah Huerta allowed just one earned run over six innings and struck out eleven hitters and was named pitcher of the game. Check out Huerta in the video below.

DBAT 16U Downs defeated C3 Futures 16U Worley, 9-4, in Game 3 from Craig Ranch 8. Dustin Fulbright was named player of the game. Fulbright went four innings allowing two hits and one earned run. Fulbright also struck out four hitters. Mikey Brinton went 2-2 with one double and one RBI and was named hitter of the game. Cade Hamilton went 1-3 with a solo home run.

Phenom Texas 16U Harvey defeated AS Sundevils 15U Sumbler, 10-2, in Game 4 from Craig Ranch 8. Colby Langford went 2-4 with one double and two runs scored and was named player of the gameJacob Terwilliger went 2-2 with one RBI and one run scored and was named hitter of the game. Also to note: Phenom’s Erick Rey went 2-3 with one RBI and one run scored. Grant Lake went 2-4 with two RBIs and one run scored. Sundevils’ Cade Sumbler went 1-2 with one double and one RBI.

Marucci Elite Texas 15U Biggers defeated NTX Dirtbags 16U, 13-0, in Game 5 from Craig Ranch 8. Trey Maeker (5 innings pitched with five strikeouts) and Braelon Brantley (two innings pitched with two strikeouts) combined to throw a no-hitter and were named pitchers of the game. Clayton Broeder went 2-4 with one triple and five runs batted in and was named player of the game. Also to note, Marucci’s Guy Garibay went 5-5 with one double, one RBI and three runs scored. He picked up co-player of the game.

Craig Ranch 9

Clutch Athletics 15U defeated Midland Baseball Academy 16U, 3-1, in Game 1 from Craig Ranch 9. Braden Wallace was the player of the game and got it done at the plate and on the mound. Wallace went 1-1 with one home run, and allowed just one hit while striking out three over five innings pitched.

Dynasty Black 16U defeated Midland Baseball Academy 16U, 13-4, in Game 2 from Craig Ranch 9. Brody Logsdon (2-3 with one triple and three runs batted in) and Robert Richardson (1-2 with one home run) were named co-players of the game. Dylan Ivey also went 3-4 with one RBI and two runs scored.

Texas Stix 16U defeated Dallas Tigers 16U Peterson, 3-1, in Game 3 from Craig Ranch 9. Jason Gonzales went 1-2 with one home run and two runs batted in and was named player of the game. On the mound for the Stix in relief, Dylan Scheurich threw three one-hit innings and struck out six.

Hunter Pence 16U Cunningham defeated Houston Athletics 16U Everett, 2-0, in Game 4 from Craig Ranch 9. Kaden Fikac went 2-2 with one double and two runs batted in and was named player of the game. Jake Combs struck out seven hitters over six scoreless innings and was named pitcher of the game. Also to note, Tyler Thompson went 3-3 with one run scored.

Chase Richter went 3-3 with one double and one RBI and was named player of the game. He also made a nice throw from right field which you can watch below. Nick Wanzer struck out five over 4.1 innings pitched and was named pitcher of the game.

Dallas Tigers 16U Burgos defeated Premier Baseball Futures 16U Starling, 4-3, in Game 2 from Craig Ranch 10. Jack Lynch was named player of the game. Lynch pitched four innings allowing zero earned runs and just one hit while striking out eight hitters. Paden Adams went 3-3 with one double, two runs scored, and one stolen base. Adams was named hitter of the game.

Bolter allowed five hits and one run while striking out three hitters. Ryland Kerby went 1-2 with one RBI, one run scored, and one walk.

Futures Athletic Stix 17U defeated Houston Athletics 17U Santiago, 5-4, in Game 5 from Craig Ranch 10. Camron Taylor went 2-2 with a walk-off RBI single and was named player of the game. For the A’s, Blake Cappadona went 2-3 with one double and three runs scored. Dylan Whitehurst went 2-4 with one RBI. For the Stix, Camron Taylor went 2-2 with one RBI and two runs scored. Danny Allee went 1-2 with one dboule.

The Gabe at Craig Ranch

Cavemen 16U Harvard defeated Marucci Elite Texas 16U Mardirosian, 1-0, in 8 innings in Game 1 from The Gabe at Craig Ranch. Harrison Hammond pitched eight scoreless innings and allowed just three hits while striking out four. Hammond was named player of the game. Brendan Riley went 1-4 with a walk-off RBI double and was named hitter of the game.

Phenom Texas 17U Gatewood defeated Hit King Baseball Academy 17U, 4-1, in Game 2 from The Gabe at Craig Ranch. Julien Ly went 5.1 innings allowing just two hits and striking out seven. Ly was named the player of the game. Elijah Valdez (2-3 with one double and three runs batted in) was named hitter of the game.

Premier Baseball Futures 17U Evans defeated NTX Dirtbags 17U, 3-2, in Game 3 from The Gabe at Craig Ranch. Nick Thompson (2-3 with one double, one run, and one stolen base) was named player of the game. Riley Taylor struck out five hitters over five innings pitched and was named pitcher of the game.

NTXBC Dirtbags 17U defeated Dallas Tigers Hernandez, 9-1, in Game 4 from The Gabe at Craig Ranch. Hayden Winter went 3-4 with two runs batted in, one run scored, and one stolen base and was named player of the game. Cade Winquest pitched 6.2 innings and struck out four hitters en route to being named pitcher of the game.

AS Sundevils 16U Hayes defeated Woodlands Premier 15U, 9-0, in Game 5 from The Gabe at Craig Ranch. Josh Foskey allowed just one hit while striking out five over four innings pitched and was named player of the game. Gabriel Vasquez went 3-3 with three runs scored and two stolen bases and was named hitter of the game.

Clutch Athletics 15U defeated Dallas Tigers 16U Peterson, 16-6, in Game 1 from Anna HS. Clutch Athletics’ Braden Olson went 3-3 with one double, two runs batted in, and two runs scored and was named player of the game (check him in action below). Also for Clutch, Parker Guerin went 1-3 with a double and three runs batted in. Other notable hitting performances came from Tigers’ Ryan Hull (2-3 with one double, one RBI, and two runs scored), Brendan Woods (2-3 with two runs batted in and two runs scored), and Jason Fitzpatrick (2-2 with one RBI).

Dallas Tigers 17U Durham defeated C3 Futures 17U Capps, 5-3, in Game 2 from Anna HS. Bryson Hudgens pitched three innings allowing just two hits and one earned run while striking out five hitters. Hudgens also touched 91 MPH (see below) on the radar gun and was named player of the game. Steven Pruett went 2-3 with one double, one run scored, and one stolen base and was named hitter of the game.

Houston Athletics 16U Everett defeated LBA 16U Walker, 12-3, in Game 3 from Anna HS. Jason Brown allowed zero hits and zero runs over four innings pitched. Brown also recorded six strikeouts and was named player of the game. Hayde Key (see below) went 2-4 with one triple, three runs batted in, and one run scored and was named hitter of the game. Matthew Thompson (2-4 with two runs batted in and two runs scored), Cooper Timmons (2-3 with two runs batted in and two runs scored), and Alexander Olivo (2-3 with one double, one RBI, and one run scored) also contributed at the plate in the win.

Game 4 from Anna HS was a pitcher’s duel between Team Rawlings Moulton and Houston Athletics 17U Santiago as the battle ended in a 1-1 tie. For Team Rawlings, Anderson Needham threw 6.1 one-hit innings and struck out 10. Anderson used a fastball, ranging from upper 80s and touching 90-91 MPH in the first inning, to get ahead in the account. And he struck batters out using a variety of pitches including a dirty slider. For the Athletics, John Nork threw six innings and struck out eight while giving up three hits. The lefty had a strong 12-6 curveball (see below) going that became deceiving as he hid it out of his release point with the fastball. Both pitchers were named players of the game for their strong performances.

John Paul II HS

Dallas Tigers 16U Ahearne scored four runs in the bottom of the seventh to defeat Marucci Elite Texas 15U Carroll, 6-5, in Game 1 from John Paul II HS. Bryan Terry went 2-4 including a three-run walk-off double (see below) and was named player of the game. Other solid performers were Dakotah Mote (2-3 with two runs scored and two stolen bases) and Brandon Sliwinski (2-4 with three runs batted in). Garrett Gray had a solid outing on the mound allowing zero hits over 3.1 scoreless innings while recording two strikeouts.

Hit King Baseball Academy 17U defeated Cajun Cayenne Baseball 17U, 9-1, in Game 2 from John Paul II HS. Christian McCoy allowed just one run and struck out seven hitters in seven innings pitched and was named player of the game. Andrew Skivington went 2-4 with one RBI and one run scored and was named hitter of the game. Noah Havard went 2-3 with one RBI and one run scored.

AS Sundevils 15U Sumbler just snuck by C3 Futures 15U Van Poppel, 3-2, in Game 3 from John Paul II. For the Sundevils, Laki Ellis went 1-3 with an RBI triple that tied the game in the top of the 5th. Gabriel Vasquez went 2-3 with two runs scored and one stolen base. Cade Sumbler had a solid game behind the plate catching two runners trying to steal. And on the mound, Campbell Sullivan threw 6.1 innings and struck out eight. Watch him talk about the victory in the video embedded below. Sullivan was named player of the game.

Cavemen 16U Harvard tied Frozen Ropes 16U Martin, 8-8, in Game 1 from Anna High School.  Cavemen’s Brendan Riley went 3-4 with two RBI’s, one run scored, and a stolen base.  Riley sparked a clutch three run rally in the bottom of the 7th inning to tie the game and he was named player of the game.  For Frozen Ropes, Jax Alley went 2-3 with a double, one RBI, and one run scored.

In Game 2 from Anna High SchoolAS Sundevils 16U Hayes defeated Marucci Elite Texas 16U Mardirosian, 6-1.  For the Sundevils, Anderson Acinger went 2-3, an RBI, and one run scored.  Acinger was named hitter of the gameRyan Bogusz went 1-3 with a double and three RBI’s. Also to note, Josh Foskey went 1-1 with an RBI, two walks, and one run scored.

DBAT 17U Self narrowly defeated Marucci Elite Texas 17U Lynch, 6-5, in Game 3 from Anna High School. DBAT’s Even Whinery led the offense by going 3-4 with two doubles, one RBI and scored the winning run. Whinery was named player of the game. In an exciting game, Dayne Galligan hit a home run to tie the game in the last inning just before Jon McDuffie hit the game-winning single for DBAT.

In Game 4 from Anna HS, Dallas Tigers Ahearne defeated AS Sundevils Redding, 11-2. On the mound for the Tigers was Canton Long. He threw a complete game striking out six and giving up two hits on his way to player of the game. Hitter of the game was Drake Boggan who went 2-3 with a triple, two runs batted in, one run scored, and one stolen base. He was named hitter of the game. Other notable performances came from Jayton Oldacre (2-4, 2 RBI, 2R), Gideon Ethridge (3-4) and Hayden Shipley (2-3).

Argyle HS

In Game 1 from Argyle High SchoolTexas Phenom 17U Gatewood defeated Dallas Tigers Hernandez, 2-1.  For Texas Phenom, Stephen Keller threw two innings, struck out four, and secured the win at the plate with a clutch walk-off home run.  Keller was named player of the game.  Also to note, Texas Phenom’s Bo Whittaker went 1-2 with a double, a walk, and one run scored.

John Paul II

In Game 1 from John Paul IIRound Rock Express 16U defeated Dallas Tigers, 9-3.  Round Rock’s Carlos Contreras went 2-4 with one double, two RBI’s, one run scored, and a stolen base.  Contreras was named the hitter of the game. The Round Rock pitching staff allowed only one hit throughout the game and was led by their starter, Cole Alexander.  Alexander threw three innings, struck out five, and was named pitcher of the game.

DBAT 15U Tompkins defeated Premier Baseball Futures 16U Auippa, 5-0, in Game 2 at John Paul IICam Brown pitched six innings giving up three hits, zero runs and striking out eight for DBAT.  Brown was named player of the game. Other impressive players included DBAT’s River Ridings (3-3 with an RBI) and Martin Rodriguez (1-3 with two runs scored and three stolen bases).

In Game 3 at John Paul IIDallas Tigers 16U Peterson narrowly defeated Dynasty Black 16U, 3-2. Dallas’ Matt Bailey pitched five innings with four strikeouts, zero earned runs, and zero hits on his way to being named player of the game. Dynasty’s Alex Medrano was also impressive on the mound. Medrano pitched six innings with four strikeouts and only giving up one earned run.

In Game 4 from John Paul II, Thrive Basball defeated Cajun Cayenne Baseball, 10-0. Player of the game was Trevor Hatton who went 2-3 with one double and four runs batted in. Pitcher of the game was Cole Reves who threw five innings and struck out six. Also to note, D’shawn Webster went 2-3 with two runs batted in.

Craig Ranch 7

Marucci Elite Texas 17U Dunn defeated DBAT 17U Gowins, 5-2, in Game 1 at Craig Ranch #7. Gavin Machado went 1-2 with a home run, two RBI’s, and two runs scored for Marucci. Jackson Lofton went 2-2 with two singles and two RBI’s. Both Machado and Lofton were named hitters of the game. And on the mound for Marucci, Matthew Dillard threw five innings striking out five. He allowed just three hits and zero runs on his way to player of the game.

In Game 2 from Craig Ranch 7Premier Baseball Futures 17U Evans defeated Hit King Baseball Academy, 5-2. Premier’s Owen Meany went 1-1 with a home run, two RBI’s, and two runs scored. Meany was named player of the game. Also to note, Drevian Nelson went 2-2 with a home run (see below), a single, two RBI’s, and on run scored.

Phenom Texas 16U beat NTX Dirtbags 16U, 5-0, in Game 3 from Craig Ranch 7. It was the Coby Langford show as the Phenom star went 2-2 with a double and one RBI at the plate. On the mound, he threw a complete game two-hitting striking out six with two walks. Langford was named player of the game.

In Game 4 from Craig Ranch 7, NTX Eagles Elite 16U defeated DBI Black Sox Sweeten, 8-7. Cooper Coffey went 2-2 with a double and showed off a strong arm behind home plate. He was named player of the game. Also to note, DBI’s Cole Lee went 3-4 with a home run, three runs batted in and one run scored.

Craig Ranch 8

DBAT 16U Downs defeated Hunter Pence 16U Cunningham, 4-1, in Game 1 from Craig Ranch 8Rece Gustafson threw three innings striking out two and didn’t allow any earned runs or hits.  Gustafson was named player of the game.

Round Rock Express 17U Puffer beat C3 Futures 17U Capps, 9-0, in Game 2 at Craig Ranch 8. Round Rock’s Jacob Wilk went 2-3 with three RBI’s. Wilk was named player of the game. On the mound for Round Rock, Mason Montgomery, Matthew McMillan, Garret Phillips, and Cameron Johnson threw for a combined five strikeouts and only allowed one hit in seven innings.

In Game 3 from Craig Ranch 8, Marucci Elite 16U Thistlethwaite‘s Eric Benitez and Premier Baseball Futures 16U Starling‘s John Alvey got after it in a battle of the pitchers as these two teams left the field tied 0-0 after eight innings. Benitez threw all eight innings with a perfect stat line: zero hits, zero walks, zero earned runs and 11 strikeouts. He had a no-hitter instead of a perfect game due to an error in the first inning. His counterpart, Alvey, threw seven innings giving up three hits and striking out two. He walked one batter with no earned runs allowed. Check them both out talking about their performances below. Needless to say, both were named players of the game.

Texas Oilers 16U Hamblin defeated OFI Baseball Academy 16U, 9-3, in Game 4 from Craig Ranch 8. On his birthday, Devin Francois went 2-3 with one RBI. He also had two great catches in right field. For his outstanding play, Francois was named player of the game. Check him out in the video below.

Craig Ranch 9

In Game 1 at Craig Ranch 9Midland Baseball Academy 16U defeated Diamond Prospects 16U, 7-1. For Midland, Nicholas Grantham went 1-1 with two RBI’s, one run scored and was named hitter of the gameErik Reyes threw 4.2 innings striking out three, giving up only one hit and zero earned runs. Reyes was named player of the game.

Dallas Mustangs 16U Kervin knocked off Marucci Elite Texas 15U Biggers, 8-6, in Game 2 at Craig Ranch 9.  Dallas’ Jordan Beminio looked very impressive by going 2-3 with a double, two RBI’s, two runs scored, and one walk. Beminio was named player of the game.

In Game 3 from Craig Ranch 9, Dallas Tigers 17U Durham defeated Futures Athletic Stix 17U, 6-1. Player of the game was Steven Preuett who went 2-4 with two doubles, three runs batted in and one run scored. On the mound, he threw five innings striking out eight with three hits given up. Also to note, Jacob Smith came in for relief and tossed two one-hit innings and struck out four.

Craig Ranch 10

Lubbock Raiders 16U defeated Woodlands Premier 15U, 13-4, in Game 1 from Craig Ranch 10. Lubbock’s offensive attack was led by Jared Gibson, going 2-4 with a home run, a double, five RBI’s, and two runs scored. Gibson also pitched three innings with five strikeouts. He was named player of the game. Other impressive players included Lubbock’s Landry Watson (3-4 with two doubles and three RBI’s) and Cameron Stephenson (3-4 with two doubles and two runs scored).

Frozen Ropes 16U Florence defeated Marucci Elite Texas 15U Carroll, 7-0, in Game 2 from Craig Ranch 10Blake Jackson went 3-4 with a double, a home run, two RBI’s, and two runs scored for Frozen Ropes. Jackson was named player of the game. Also, Nick Vernars had a good game by going 1-2 with a home run and two RBI’s. On the mound, the Frozen Ropes pitching staffed combined for a one-hitter with nine strikeouts.

In Game 3 from Craig Ranch 10, Texas Stix 16U defeated Clutch Athletics 15U, 5-4. Marco Facundo went 2-4 with one RBI and one run scored on his way to player of the game. Check him out talking about his game in the video embedded below. On the mound for Clutch was J Fitzpatrick. He threw 4.1 innings in relief giving up one run. He struck out four batters and was named pitcher of the game.

It was the Will Johnston show as the Texas A&M commit struck out 14 batters in five innings of work in a 6-1 victory for C3 Futures Worley over NTX Longhorns 15U Boddie. In Game 4 from Craig Ranch 10, Johnston was really feeling it on the mound as he explains in the video below. Johnston did give up four hits, but his ridiculous strikeout percentage and the win easily helped him pick up player of the game. On the flipside, Longhorns’ Dalton Beck got three of those four hits as he went 3-3 with one run scored. Beck was named hitter of the game.

In Game 1 from Craig Ranch 7,  Marucci Elite Texas 17U Dunn defeated Dallas Tigers 17U Durham, 7-4. For Marucci, Bryson Jackson went 1-3 with two runs batted in and one run scored. He had a big two-run single in the bottom of the sixth which eventually helped put away the game. Player of the game was Marucci’s Richard Diaz who went 1-3 with a home run and three runs batted in. Check out the blast in the video below. On the mound, Texas Longhorns commit Simeon Woods-Richardson threw five innings and struck out 10. He walked six batters, gave up four hits and one earned run on his way to pitcher of the game.

Marucci Elite Texas 17U defeated Phenom Texas 17U Gatewood, 3-1, in Game 2 from Craig Ranch 7. For Marucci, Antonio Cruz went 2-3 with one double and one RBI. Cruz was named hitter of the game. On the mound, Christopher Macias threw five innings and struck out six. He gave up three hits with no runs and was named player of the game.

Marucci 17U Dunn defeated Marucci Elite Texas 17U, 3-1, in the 17U championship from Craig Ranch 7. On the mound, Travis Hester threw three one-hit innings and struck out four. He was named pitcher of the game. At the plate, Richard Diaz went 2-2, homering in his second straight game, and scored twice. He was named player of the game. Craig Ranch 8

In Game 1 from Craig Ranch 8, Dallas Tigers 16U Ahearne defeated DBAT 16U Downs, 8-1. Brian Brito went 1-3 with an RBI. His RBI blew the game wide open as his team went on to win by seven runs. Brito was named player of the game. On the mound for the Tigers was Bryan Terry. He threw six 3-hit innings and struck out five. Terry was named pitcher of the game. For DBAT, Rece Gustafson went 1-3 with a double.

Marucci Elite Texas 16 Thistlethwaite beat Texas Stix 16U Red, 7-0, in Game 2 from Craig Ranch 8. At the plate, Eric Benitez went 2-3 with one double and two runs batted. He scored one run and was named hitter of the game. On the mound, Ross Selvaggi threw a complete game two-hitter. He struck out 10 batters and was named player of the game.

It was an exciting championship 15/16 final as Marucci Elite 16U Thistlethwaite defeated Dallas Tigers 16U Ahearne, 2-1. For the Tigers, Mark Ibarra had a no-hitter until the six inning. He ended his day throwing six one-it innings striking out one with one run allowed. For Marucci, Bryce Montemayor threw six innings and struck out seven He gave up one run on three hits. In the seventh, Andre Duplantier II came in with the bases loaded. A passed ball scored one run. After the mistake, Duplantier struck out three consecutive batters (see below) to get out of the jam and earn the enventual victory. Duplantier went two innings and struck out five. Both Montemayor and Duplantier were namedp players of the game.

Craig Ranch 9

Jett Whitfield‘s grand slam blew the game wide open as Lubbock Raiders 16U defeated Texas Cavemen, 8-5. He ended the game 1-2 with those four runs batted in and a run scored, but the pivotal smash (see below) put his team up 8-4 midway through the game. Whitfield was named player of the game. And on the mound, Landry Watson threw 4.2 one-hit innings and struck out five. He was named pitcher of the game.

In Game 2 from Craig Ranch 9, Phenom Texas 16U Harvey defeated Texas Oilers 16U Hamblin, 9-1. Parker Moye threw five no-hit innings striking out seven. Check him out in the video embedded below. Moye was named player of the game. At the plate, Grayson Coltharp went 3-3 with two doubles and three runs batted in. He was named hitter of the game.

Lubbock Raiders 16U beat Phenom Texas 16U, 9-3, in the D1 15/16 championship game from Craig Ranch 9. Jarred Gibson went 2-4 with a home run and two runs batted in. Zack Swindell went 1-2 with a grand slam (four RBIs) and two runs scored. Swindell was named player of the game. Check out his grand slam below.

AS Sundevils 14U Ingram beat DBAT Strike Elite 14U, 11-1, in Game 4 from Craig Ranch 9. On the mound, Gavin Perryman threw five innings and struck out five. He gave up one run on three hits and was named player of the game. Karson Krowka had a double in the game which you can see in the video below.

Craig Ranch 10

In Game 1 from Craig Ranch 10, Dallas Tigers 14U Polk beat Dallas Mustangs 14U Haugen, 4-2. On the mound, Robert Fortenberry threw five innings and struck out nine while giving up three hits and two runs. He was named pitcher of the game. At the plate, Ryan Johnson went 1-2 with two key runs batted in. For his clutch effort, he was named player of the game.

In Game 2 from Craig Ranch 10, Dallas Tigers 14U Godwin beat DBAT Strike Elite 14U, 14-3. Bennett Hanks went 1-2 with a home run and four runs batted in. Hanks was named player of the game.

In Game 3 from Craig Ranch 10, AS Sundevils 14U Ingram defeated Dallas Mustangs Haugen, 6-2. Player of the game was Luke Robertson who went 3-4 with one double and three runs batted in.

Game 4 from Craig Ranch 10 ended in a 1-1 tie between Dallas Tigers 14U Godwin and Dallas Tigers 14U Polk. Godwin’s Rawley Hector threw four innings and struck out nine (check him out below). He was named player of the game.
