Houston

Down in the last inning, HP Baseball Allen came from behind to defeat Columbia Angels 2018, 7-6, in Game 1 at Houston. HP’s Kyle Smith kept his team in the game early on throwing 5.2 innings and striking out five. He only allowed one run and was named pitcher of the game. Bobby Lada went 2-2 with two runs scored on his way to hitter of the game. Also to note, Ben Hegedus went 2-4 with two runs batted in and one run scored.

BPA Demarini defeated DBAT Robertson, 5-1, in Game 2 at Houston. Johny Carr went 3-3 (see one of his hits below) with one RBI for BPA while DBAT’s Jimmy Glowenke went 2-2 with one double. BPA’s Remington Neffendorf went 2-2 with two runs batted in and one run scored on his way to hitter of the game. On the mound, Joe Garman threw four innings striking out six and allowing no runs. Joe Bussone threw three one-hit innings where he struck out two. Both Garman and Bussone were named pitchers of the game.

Premier Baseball Futures 17U Nixon knocked off Woodlands Express 2017, 11-1, in Game 3 at Houston. Lakon Pryor went 2-3 with one RBI and two runs scored. Eli Strang went 2-4 with one double and two runs scored. Both Pryor and Strang were named hitters of the game. And on the mound, Connor Elliott threw four innings striking out five. He allowed just two hits and one run on his way to pitcher of the game.

Texas Stix defeated Texas Oilers 2017, 6-5, in Game 4 at Houston. Both Jack McBride and Hayden Boyd went 2-3 with one double on their way to players of the game. Oilers’ David Renning had a nice RBI single in the contest which you can check out in the video embedded below.

DBAT Herrick defeated Twelve Silver 16U, 8-2, in Game 5 at Houston. DBAT’s Adam Stephenson threw six innings striking out five. He allowed three hits and two runs on his way to pitcher of the game. Taylor Pendley went 1-2 with one triple, one RBI and two runs scored. Michael Schrab went 2-2 with one double. Both Pendley and Schrab were named hitters of the game.

Rice

Columbia Angels 2019 defeated Premier Baseball Futures 15U, 6-4, in Game 1 at Rice. Ross Selvaggi III went 3-3 with three runs batted in on his way to hitter of the game. Jake Arthur threw five innings striking out three with no earned runs. Arthur was named pitcher of the game.

In Game 2 at Rice, BPA Demarini held off Frozen Ropes Thornton, 4-3. BPA’s Zach Busalacchi delivered early with a three-run double (see below) and then scoring a short while after. He was named hitter of the game. On the mound, Corey Cirks threw four scoreless innings. He gave up two hits on his way to pitcher of the game. Also to note, BPA’s Cameron Repetti was solid in the field accounting for 10 outs at shortstop.

Woodlands Express 2019 defeated Colorado Slammers, 10-2, in Game 3 at Rice. Slammers’ Nathan Mitchell went 2-2 with one walk. For the Express, Bren Oestrike went 2-2 with one stolen base and two runs scored. Kevin Skweres went 2-4 with one double and three runs batted in. And Blane Romero went 4-4 with one RBI and one run scored on his way to hitter of the game. On the mound, Trey Valka threw four innings striking out seven. He allowed two hits and two earned runs on his way to pitcher of the game.

Sam Houston

Pro Source Athletics Agamennone came out swinging in Game 1 at SHSU defeating Clutch Athletics 2018, 12-1. Jakob Hendricks went 2-3 with one RBI and two runs scored. Colby Delashaw went 1-3 with one triple, two runs batted in and two runs scored. Jaxon Himel went 2-3 with one RBI and one run scored. Both Delashaw and Himel were named hitters of the game. On the mound, Allen Smith threw five inning striking out two. He gave up just that one run and was named pitcher of the game. Also to note, Clutch’s Brett Baty went 2-2 with one triple. Reed Beverly went 1-2 with one triple and one run scored.

Dallas Tigers Nutt beat Texas Warriors Baseball Club 15U, 8-3, in Game 2 at Sam Houston State. Weston Symes went 2-3 with one triple, one RBI and three runs scored. Check out one of his hits below. Lukas Loran went 1-2 with one triple, one RBI and one run scored. Both Symes and Loran were named hitters of the game.

In Game 3 at SHSU, Houston Athletics 2019 defeated Houston C2 Select 2019, 10-1. For the A’s, Dillon Pawlik went 1-3 with one double and two runs batted in. Tony Gomez went 2-4 with one double, one RBI and one run scored and was named hitter of the game. Braden Norris threw 5.1 innings striking out three. He also went 2-4 with one double, one RBI and two runs scored. Norris was named player of the game.

Houston C2 Select 2018 Blue defeated Frozen Ropes Ladd, 11-8, in Game 4 at SHSU. For Frozen Ropes, Jack Sigrist went 2-4 with two runs batted in and one run scored. Cesar Paz went 2-2 with one double, one RBI and two runs scored. And Braden Moore went 2-3 with one double, two runs batted in and one run scored. For C2, Colton Carrion went 2-3 with one triple and three runs batted in. And Thomas Campbell went 2-3 with one double, two runs batted in and one run scored. Both Carrion and Campbell were named hitters of the game.

Houston C2 Select 2018 White defeated Ontario Blue Jays Travers, 11-1, in Game 5 at SHSU. C2’s Ryan Finke went 2-3 with one RBI and three runs scored. Cameron Sheets went 2-2 with one RBI and one run scored. Jones Abbott went 1-3 with three runs batted in. And Mark Barrow went 2-3 with one run scored on his way to hitter of the game. On the mound, Paul Kindervater threw five one-hit innings. He was named pitcher of the game.

San Jac

Ontario Blue Jays Travers opened up with a 8-1 victory over DBAT Schkade in Game 1 at San Jac. Austin Wilkie went 2-3 with two doubles and two runs batted in on his way to hitter of the game. His teammate, Alex Jones, went 2-2 with two walks and one run scored. Jones also threw six innings striking out one and allowing just that one run. Jones was named player of the game for his performance.

Frozen Ropes Thornton defeated Inside Pitch Academy Canada, 4-1, in Game 2 at San Jac. Inside Pitch’s Ryan Gabb went 2-3 with one run scored. Frozen Ropes’ Brad Hudson went 2-3 with one double, one RBI and one stolen base. Hudson was named hitter of the game. On the mound, Dawson Abernethy threw five innings striking out three. Abernethy was named pitcher of the game.

In Game 3 at San Jac, Twelve Silver 16U defeated Dallas Tigers Bustillos 2018, 4-2. Tigers’ Carson Rollins went 1-3 with two runs batted in. Tyler Grigalis reached base three times. For Twelve, Nick Hill threw fiving innings striking out two and was named pitcher of the game. Colson Geisler went 2-3 with one double, one RBI and two runs scored on his way to hitter of the game.

In Game 4 at San Jac, Columbia Angels 2018 defeated Clutch Althetics 2018, 6-3. Antonio Cantu went 2-4 with two runs batted in. Calvin Whitaker went 3-4 and was named hitter of the game. On the mound, Spencer Russo threw seven innings striking out five on his way to the win. Russo was named pitcher of the game.

Premier 3

Houston Athletics 2019 defeated PrimeTime Baseball Academy, 6-2, in Game 1 at Premier 3. PrimeTime’s Parker Gregg threw 2.1 scoreless innings and Chris Duncan threw three scoreless innings allowing just one hit. For the A’s, Jason Brown threw seven innings striking out five and was named pitcher of the game.  At the plate, David Amaya walked three times and scored one run. Matthew Thompson went 1-1 with two walks and one run scored. Travis Phelps went 1-2 with two runs batted in. And Dillon Pawlik went 2-3 with one double and two runs batted in on his way to hitter of the game. Also to note, PrimeTime’s Jordan Mewis caught two runners stealing.

Ontario Blue Jays Roumel knocked off Woodlands Express 2019, 4-2, in Game 2 at Premier 3. Ontario’s Khalid Collymore went 1-3 with one stolen base and two runs scored. Jaden Brown went 1-3 with one triple and one RBI. Varun Kuo went 2-2 with one stolen base. He also had two sacrifice bunts and was named hitter of the game. Woodlands’s Ryan Oestrike threw three innings giving up one run. He also went 2-2 with one stolen base and was named player of the game. His teammates Blane Romero and Hampton Long also had positive performances. Romero went 1-3 with one stolen base and one run scored. Long threw four innings striking out two and allowing no earned runs. And on the mound for the Blue Jays, Chris Bowles threw seven innings striking out two and giving up three hits. Bowles was named pitcher of the game.

In the battle of the DBATs, DBAT Schkade defeated DBAT Herrick, 1-0, in Game 3 at Premier 3. For Schkade, Connor Gage went 2-3 with one double. Kason Howell drove in the winning run in the top of the 7th on a fielder’s choice. Grayson Rodriguez threw 5.2 innings giving up two hits and striking out seven. Rodriguez hit 92 MPH on the radar gun (see below). He also went 2-3 with one double at the plate. Patrick Miner threw 1.1 innings allowing no runs and went 2-3 at the plate. Both Rodriguez and Miner were players of the game. For Herrick, Adam Stephenson went 1-3 with one double. Jake Smith went 1-3 with one triple. Kyle Warsen went 1-1 with one stolen base. And on the mound, Taylor Pendley threw all seven innings striking out six. Pendley was named pitcher of the game.

Carlos Flores threw a NO-HITTER in San Antonio Angels 16U‘s 11-1 victory over Inside Pitch Academy Canada in Game 4 at Premier 3. The righty threw five innings striking out seven without giving up a hit (check him out below). Flores was named pitcher of the game. For the Angels, Jayce Jung walked three times, stole one base and scored one. CJ Marks went 1-3 with two runs batted in and one run scored. Christian Menenzes went 1-1 with two walks, two stolen bases, one RBI, and one run scored. And Reid Romine went 3-3 with one RBI, two stolen bases and one run scored on his way to hitter of the game.

Premier 4

In Game 1 at Premier 4, Houston C2 Select 2019 held off Premier Baseball Futures 15U, 4-3. Premier’s Brandon Porter went 2-3 with one double and one run scored. C2’s Shawn Huber went 2-3 with one run scored. C2’s Dylan Heim went 2-3 with one RBI on his way to hitter of the game. And on the mound, Payne Trozzo threw four one-hit innings striking out one. He allowed no runs and was named pitcher of the game.

Premier Baseball Futures 16U Nixon defeated Colorado Slammers 2019, 5-4, in Game 2 at Premier 4. Premier’s Dawson Mayrant went 2-2 with two doubles. Christopher Alfaro went 1-1 with one home run and two runs batted in. And Jackson Sutter went 3-4 with two triples (see one below) and three runs batted in. Sutter was named player of the game.

In Game 3 at Premier 4, Houston Athletics 2018 defeated Bottom of the Ninth 16U, 5-2. For the Athletics, Aidan Mackey went 1-3 with one double and two runs batted in. Blake Roberts went 1-2 with one double and two runs scored. Parker Deleon went 2-3 with one double and two runs batted in on his way to hitter of the game. On the mound, Dylan Smith threw six innings striking out five. He allowed just one hit and one earned run on his way to pitcher of the game.

Premier Baseball Futures 16U Nixon beat Texas Warriors Baseball Club 15U, 6-2, in Game 4 at Premier 4. Premier’s Ryan Rusinovich went 2-4 with one RBI. Jason Michels went 3-3 with one double and three runs batted in. Michels was named player of the game. On the mound, Kalob Bacak threw four innings striking out five. He allowed just one earned run and was named pitcher of the game.

Premier 5

Frozen Ropes Ladd narrowly defeated Dallas Tigers Bustillos 2018, 2-1, in Game 1 at Premier 5. Frozen Ropes’ Darryl Jett had an outfield assist throwing out a run trying to score at home. Tigers catcher Tyler Grigalis threw out a runner trying to steal off a ball in the dirt. At the plate, Tigers’ Michael Betrus went 2-2 with one double and was named hitter of the game. Jared McClain threw all seven innings striking out two and allowing no earned runs. McClain was named pitcher of the game.

In Game 2 at Premier 5, Houston Athletics 2018 defeated Columbia Angels 2018 White, 5-1. Athletics’ Justin Silva went 2-3 with one RBI and one run scored. He had a nice play at second base as well. Blake Cappadona went 2-2 with one double, two runs batted in and one run scored on his way to hitter of the game. And on the mound, Dylan Whitehurst threw six innings striking out five on his way to pitcher of the game.

Columbia Angels 2018 White defeated Wilkinson Academy Cardinals, 5-3, in Game 3 at Premier 4. Four pitchers for Columbia combined for a one-hitter. Greyson Melton threw three innings striking out four and gave up one hit. Sopchak and Dayton threw three no-hit innings. They were named pitchers of the game. At the plate, Trhea Morse went 2-4 with one double and the go-ahead RBI for Columbia. He was named hitter of the game.

Dallas Tigers Nutt defeated HP Baseball Allen, 9-8, in Game 4 at Premier 5. HP’s Clayton Canion went 2-4 with one triple, one double and three runs scored. Arian Tabibian went 3-4 with two runs batted in and three runs scored. And Joe Kibbe went 2-4 with one home run and three runs batted in. Both Tabibian and Kibbe were named hitters of the game. Also to note, Tigers’ Blake Jackson and Hunter Spears both left the yard. Check out Spears’ shot  below.

Premier 6

In Game 1 at Premier 6, San Antonio Angels 16U defeated Houston C3 Select 2018 Blue, 7-2. Jayce Jung was solid in the field and went 1-3 with one double and two runs scored on his way to hitter of the game. On the mound, Calvin Marks threw a complete game two-hitter striking out seven and giving up just one earned run. Marks was named pitcher of the game.

Hit King Baseball Academy just defeated Wilkinson Academy Cardinals, 2-1, in Game 2 at Premier 6. Wilkinson’s Beau Nealey threw 4.2 innings striking out four. He allowed two hits and one earned run. Hit King’s Sam Gotlieb went 2-3 with the game-winning RBI which you can watch below. He also broke up the no-hitter in the fourth inning and was named player of the game. And on the mound, Hit Kings’ Noah Myre threw all seven innings striking out four. He allowed no earned runs on his way to pitcher of the game.

In Game 1 at Rice, Columbia Angels 2018 defeated Dallas Tigers Watten, 6-3. On the mound for the Angels, Noah Huerta threw six innings and struck out five. The lefty gave up two hits and one earned run on his way to pitcher of the game. At the plate, Angels’ Aaron Allen went 1-4 with two runs batted in. Chase Carslon went 3-4 with one RBI and two runs scored on his way to hitter of the game.

Twelve Silver 16U defeated Pro Source Athletics Agamennone, 5-2, in Game 2 at Rice. Starting the game for Twelve was Dalton Wood who threw four innings and struck out two on his way to the win. He was named pitcher of the game. Carson Rollins threw three innings and struck out five. And at the plate, Colson Geisler went 2-3 with two doubles and three runs batted in. He was named hitter of the game. Also to note, Hayden Ebrecht went 2-4 with one triple and one run scored.

Clutch Athletics 2018 defeated Ontario Blue Jays Travers, 7-0, in Game 3 at Rice. Matthew Maldonado went 1-3 with a triple on his way to hitter of the game. In Game 4 at Rice, DBAT Schkade defeated DBI Blacksox, 5-3. For DBAT, Kason Howell went 3-4 with one stolen base and one run scored. Patrick Miner went 3-3 with two runs batted in. Both Howell and Miner were named hitters of the game.

In Game 5 at Rice, Hit King Baseball Academy defeated DBAT Robertson, 10-2. On the mound, Cole Wesneski threw four innings and struck out three. He picked up the victory and pitcher of the game. Adrian Stover threw four innings and struck out one. At the plate, Tyler John went 2-4 and Sam Gotlieb went 2-5 with two doubles, one RBI and two runs scored. Gotlieb was named hitter of the game.

Sam Houston

In Game 1 at SHSU, Bottom of the Ninth 16U tied with Columbia Angels 2018 White, 11-11. Angels’ Diego Rivera threw 3.2 strong innings striking out one and gave up just one run on his way to pitcher of the game. Angels’ Isaiah Benavidez went 4-4 with one RBI and two runs scored. Bottom of the Ninth’s Garrett Lietko went 4-4 as well with one RBI and three runs scored. Both Benavidez and Lietko were named hitters of the game.

DBAT Herrick defeated Houston Athletics 2018, 6-1, in Game 2 at SHSU. Athletics’ Dylan Whitehurst went 2-3 with one RBI. DBAT’s Jake Smith went 2-3 with one double, two runs batted in and one run scored. Nik Millsap went 2-3 with two doubles, two runs batted in and one run scored. Millsap was named hitter of the game. On the mound, Steven Swift threw six innings striking out three. He was named pitcher of the game.

In Game 3 at SHSUPremier Baseball Futures 16U Nixon defeated Pro Source Athletics Breeding, 10-6. Pro Source’s Matt Hunter went 1-3 with one triple and one RBI. Premier’s Jake Henley went 1-3 with two runs batted in. Cooper McCarley went 2-2 with one double and one RBI. Both Henley and McCarley were named hitters of the game.

Game 4 at SHSU was a 4-2 victory for HP Baseball Allen over San Antonio Angels 16U. Hitter of the game was Bobby Lada who went 2-3 with one double and one RBI. Pitcher of the game was Arian Tabibian who threw six innings and struck out three on his way to the W. Also to note, Elliot Ranson made a great diving catch in right fied which you can check out below.

In Game 5 at SHSU, Rebels Nation defeated Inside Pitch Academy Canada, 9-3. Kolby Johnson threw 1.1 hitless innings and struck out three on his way to pitcher of the game. Nixon Brannan went 2-2 with one double, one RBI and two runs scored. Spencer Ouellette went 2-3 with two runs batted in. Both Ouellette and Brannan were named hitters of the game.

San Jac

Houston C2 Select 2018 White defeated DBI Blacksox, 6-2, in Game 1 at San Jac. C2’s Jalen Metz went 1-2 with one double and one run scored. On the mound, Mark Barrow threw five innings and struck out four. He gave up three hits and was named player of the game.

In Game 2 at San Jac, Twelve Maroon 16U defeated Houston C2 Select 2018 Blue, 4-2. Dylan Golden threw 3.1 innings and struck out three. He gave up no runs on his way to pitcher of the game. Helping Golden get the victory was Tyler Linewebber who threw one inning and struck out one picking up the save. He also went 1-1 with two runs scored at the plate. Hitter of the game was Hunter Mayo who went 3-3 with one double and three runs batted in.

In Game 3 at San Jac, Frozen Ropes Ladd defeated Dallas Mustangs Randle, 8-3. Alec Buonasera went 1-3 with one double, one RBI and one run scored. Braden Moore went 1-3 with one RBI and one run. Cesar Paz went 1-3 with one RBI. Jared McClain was hitter of the game after going 2-2 with one RBI, one stolen base and two runs scored. Ryan Richardson threw 4.2 one-hit innings with one strikeout. Richardson was named pitcher of the game.

Texas Oilers 2018 defeated Ontario Blue Jays Roumel, 9-4, in Game 4 at San Jac. For the Blue Jays, Khalid Collymore walked four times, stole two bases and scored one run. Brandon Clarke went 2-3 with one double and two runs batted in. For the Oilers, Hunter O’Shea went 1-2 with two walks and three runs scored. Kade McCormick went 1-3 with two runs scored. Josh Freeman went 1-1 with two walks and one run scored. Cole Hill went 2-3 with one double, two runs batted in and one run scored. And Logan Winger went 2-3 with one double and two runs batted in. Both Hill and Winger were named hitters of the game. On the bump, Alex Degelia threw 5.1 innings and struck out five. He was named pitcher of the game.

Premier 3

In Game 1 at Premier 3, San Antonio Angels 16U defeated Dallas Mustangs Randle, 13-4. For the Mustangs, Bryson Hudgens went 2-3 with one double and two runs batted in. Nate Santiago went 1-2 with one double and two runs scored. Caleb Shaw went 1-2 with one walk. For the Angels, Julian Martinez went 1-2 with one double, three runs batted in and one run scored. Joe Jimenez went 1-2 with one double. Christian Menenzes went 1-3 with two runs scored. And Jace Jung went 3-3 with one home run, one double, two runs batted in, one stolen base and three runs scored. Jung was named hitter of the game. And on the mound, Jack Neely threw four innings and struck out four. He also went 1-1 at the plate with two runs scored. Neely was named player of the game.

Down one run in the top of the 7th, Dallas Tigers Bustillos scored twice to defeat DBAT Schkade, 2-1, in Game 2 at Premier 3. For the Tigers, Michael Betrus went 1-3 with one run scored. Tyler Grigalis went 1-2 with one double and Joey Trevino went 2-3 with one RBI. Trevino’s hit in the seventh tied the game and Griffin Wright hit the eventual game-winning sacrifice fly. Micah Dallas scored that run and went 1-3 in the contest. He also threw seven innings striking out seven on his way to player of the game. For DBAT, Ryan Walls picked up pitcher of the game for his performance. He threw seven innings and struck out seven as well.

Jace Carter went 2-3 with one RBI. For Frozen Ropes, Austin Nault went 1-3 with two runs batted in and one run scored. Cade Knodle went 1-3 with two runs batted in and one run scored. And Parker Wilson threw one inning and struck out all three batters. Hitter of the game was Garrett Crews who went 2-4 with one double and one run scored. Player of the game was Justin Thompson who threw four one-hit innings and struck out six. He also went 1-3 with two runs scored.

Game 4 at Premier 3 ended in a 2-2 tie between BPA Demarini and Texas Oilers 2017. For the Oilers, Trystan McGee went 1-2 with one RBI and had an amazing catch in center field. Drew Zapata went 1-3 with two great diving catches on line drives at third base. Garret Hermes threw seven innings and struck out five. He was named co-pitcher of the game. For BPA, Kevin Champlain went 1-2 with one double and one run scored. Corey Cirks threw 1.1 innings and struck out two without allowing a run. Cameron Repetti threw 5.2 innings and struck out four. He was the other co-pitcher of the game.

In Game 5 at Premier 3, Dallas Tigers Nutt defeated Pro Source Athletics Agamennone, 10-4. For Pro Source, Jakob Hendricks went 2-3 with two runs batted in. Jack Wehrly went 1-2 with one stolen base and one run scored. Brady Lupe went 1-2 with one RBI, two stolen bases and one run scored. For the Tigers, Weston Symes went 2-3 with one RBI, two stolen bases and two runs scored. Blake Jackson threw 1.1 innings and struck out one batter. He also went 1-4 with two runs batted in at the plate. Bryce Osmond went 1-3 with one RBI and two runs scored. Pitcher of the game was Elijah McCormick who threw 5.2 innings and struck out eight. Player of the game was Ricky Rivera who went 1-1 with two walks, one hit by pitch, one RBI, one run scored, and three stolen bases. He also made a great play in center field to throw out a runner at second.

Premier 4

In Game 1 at Premier 4, Frozen Ropes Ladd defeated Texas Oilers 2018, 5-2. Oilers’ Josh Freeman went 2-3 with one walk. Thomas Gutierrez Jr. went 2-4. Alec Buonasera went 2-3 with one double and three runs batted in on his way to hitter of the game. Check out Buonasera in the video below. On the mound, Cesar Paz threw five innings striking out two. He gave up three hits and was named pitcher of the game.

Behind the arm of Christopher Messer, Inside Pitch Academy Canada defeated Bottom of the Ninth 17U, 3-1, in Game 2 at Premier 4. Ben Komonosky went 2-3 with one triple and two runs batted in. He was named hitter of the game. On the mound, threw seven innings striking out 12. He gave up one earned run and was named pitcher of the game. Check him out in the video below.

In Game 3 at Premier 4, Dallas Tigers Nutt knocked off Premier Baseball Futures 16U Starling, 5-3. Tigers’ Hunter Spears went 2-3 with one double (see below) and one run scored. Kevin Hoy of Premier went 2-3 with one home run and one double. Hoy was named hitter of the game. And on the mound, Jaden Bray threw 6.2 innings and struck out eight. Bray was named pitcher of the game.

Premier Baseball Futures 17U Nixon defeated Dallas Tigers Watten, 10-1, in Game 4 at Premier 4. At the plate, Lakon Pryor went 1-2 with two walks, two runs batted in and two runs scored. James Ortiz went 3-4 with one double, two runs batted in and one run scored. Both Pryor and Ortiz were named hitters of the game. On the bump, Matthew Swick through five strong innings striking out three. Swick was named pitcher of the game.

In Game 5 at Premier 4, LBA Hays defeated Premier Baseball Futures 17U Nixon, 6-3. For Premier, Matthew Swick went 1-3 with one triple and two runs batted in. Zachary McAdams threw out a kid stealing second. For LBA, Zach Smith went 1-3 with one triple and one RBI. Brock Martin went 3-3 with one RBI. And Bryce Gist went 1-3 with one three-run home run (see below). Martin and Gist were named hitters of the game. And on the mound, Conley Green kept hitters off balance all game throwing six innings and striking out four. Conley was named pitcher of the game.

Premier 5

Texas Warriors Baseball Club 15U defeated Houston C2 Select 2019, 5-2, in Game 1 at Premier 5. C2’s Payne Trozzo and Brad Wilcott each stole a base. Warriors’ Chase Ruston and Caden Walton also each swiped a bag. Warriors’ Joseph Couey went 2-3 with two stolen bases and was named player of the game.

In Game 2 at Premier 5, Colorado Slammers 2019 beat Columbia Angels 2019, 6-5. For the Angels, Jake Arthur went 1-3 with a three-run double (see below) in the seventh inning. Brandon Pearson stole two bases and made a great catch in deep left field. Brandon Kostelnik had a diving catch in center field. For the Slammers, Parker Gregory went 2-3 with two runs batted in, one stolen base and one run scored. Simon Baumgardt went 2-4 with one double, one RBI and one run scored on his way to hitter of the game. Grant Shady threw six innigns and struck out five. He allowed no runs and was named pitcher of the game.

Down 2-1 in the seventh inning with two outs, Premier Baseball Futures 15U‘s JoJo Trejo delivered with the RBI single to tie the game. That would be all the scoring as Game 3 at Premier 5 ended in a 2-2 tie between Premier and PrimeTime Baseball Academy. Premier’s Martin McDowell went 1-2 with one double and one RBI. PrimeTime’s Ryan McRory went 2-2 with one run. Behind the plate, Jake Gonce caught two runners trying to steal. PrimeTime’s Connor Fremin went 1-2 with two runs batted in and was named hitter of the game. On the mound, Timothy Mansell threw six innings striking out five. He was named pitcher of the game.

In Game 4 at Premier 5, Dallas Tigers Bustillos shut out Performance Baseball 16U Starling, 3-0. On the mound, Matt Foster threw all seven innings and struck out just as many (7) on his way to pitcher of the game. For the Tigers, Griffin Wright went 3-3 with one double and one run scored. Kendall Foster went 1-2 with two runs batted in. Both Wright and Foster were named hitters of the game.

In Game 5 at Premier 5, Colorado Slammers defeated Houston Athletics 2019, 8-2. Pitcher of the game was Nathan Mitchell who threw six innings and struck out three. He allowed one earned run as well. Hitters of the game were Cory Ritchie and Greg Deville. Ritchie went 1-3 with one double, one RBI and one run scored. Check him out in the video below. Deville went 2-3 with one double and two runs batted in.

Premier 6

In Game 1 at Premier 6, San Antonio Angels 17U defeated Frozen Ropes Thornton, 6-2. Luis Hernandez went 2-2 with two runs scored. Justin Thompson went 2-4 with one home run. Mac Papini went 2-3 with two doubles, two runs batted in and one run scored on his way to player of the game. On the mound, Chandler Eaton threw six innings and struck out five. Eaton was named pitcher of the game.

DBAT Robertson took care of business in Game 2 by defeating San Antonio Angels 17U, 11-2, at Premier 6. Noah Sifrit went 2-2 with two doubles, one RBI and one run scored. Jimmy Glowenke made three diving plays at shortstop. At the plate, Heston Kjerstad went 4-4 with a grand slam, and seven runs batted in. He also stole a base and scored twice on his way to player of the game. And on the mound, Josh Thurman threw five innings

In Game 3 at Premier 6, BPA Demarini defeated Texas Stix, 5-0. Kevin Champlain went 1-3 with a three-run home run on his way to hitter of the game. On the mound, Zach Busallacchi threw all seven innings and struck out three. He allowed no runs and was named pitcher of the game.

Dallas Mustangs Clements knocked off Arlington Heat 17U, 9-6, in Game 4 at Premier 6. For the Mustangs, Esteban Cardoza went 2-2 with two stolen bases and two runs scored. Justin Miller went 2-4 with two triples, two runs batted in and one run scored. Miller was named hitter of the game. Player of the game was Wyatt Stapp who contributed from the mound and at the plate. Stapp threw five innings walking just one batter on his way to the victory. He also went 3-3 with one double, one RBI and one run scored.

In Game 5 at Premier 6, Twelve Silver defeated Texas Stix, 9-6. Joseph Menefee stole the show as he went 3-4 at the plate with a three-run home run. He also threw five innings striking out five. Menefee was named player of the game.

Premier 7

In Game 1 at Premier 7, Pro Source Athletics Breeding defeated Ontario Blue Jays Roumel, 8-7. Pro Source’s Jourdan Erickson went 1-3 with one double and two runs batted in. Jakob Machuca went 3-4 with one double, one RBI and one run scored on his way to hitter of the game. Joe Weatherford went 1-4 with a three-run home run and two runs scored. Check out his home run below. Weatherford was named player of the game. Also to note, Blue Jays’ Matt Demita went 1-3 with three runs batted in and one run scored.

Rebels Nation defeated Wilkinson Academy Cardinals, 7-2, in Game 2 at Premier 7. Rebels center fielder Jonathan Thomas went 2-3 with one stolen base and three runs scored. He also made a nice diving catch in the field. Nick Tamez went 1-2 with one double, two runs batted in and two runs scored. Jarran Schiller went 1-3 with one double and two runs batted in. Both Tamez and Schiller were named hitters of the game. On the mound, Art Galvan threw six innings striking out seven on his way to pitcher of the game. Also to note, Wilkinson’s Austin Hewitt went 2-3 with one double and one run scored.

Premier 8

In Game 1 at Premier 8, Woodlands Express 2019 knockd off Columbia Angels 2019, 6-2. Player of the game was Casey Sunseri who went 1-1 with one RBI and one run scored.

DBAT Tompkins defeated Woodlands Express 2017, 9-0, in Game 2 at Premier 8. For the Express, Dillon Nesbit went 1-2 with one double. For DBAT, Michael Alvarez went 1-2 with one run scored and one stolen base. Dom Grissom went 2-4 with one double. Brett Lundy threw four one-hit innings. Maddux Miller touched 91 MPH in his one inning of work. And Justin Marino went 2-3 with three runs batted in. Marino was named hitter of the game.

On the mound, Luke Douthitt threw three innings and struck out one. He allowed one hit as well.

In Game 2 at Rice, Texas Warriors Baseball Club 15U defeated Houston Athletics 2019, 19-6. Hitters of the game were Samuel Muir and Dylan Redmond. Muir went 4-4 with three runs batted in. Redmond went 3-4 with one double, two runs batted in and four runs scored. Cooper Wilson went 4-4 with one double, two runs batted in and two runs scored as well. To close out the game, Wesley Gafford came in and threw two no-hit innings. He struck out three batters on his way to pitcher of the game.

Cameron Dayton threw a one-hitter to help carry Wilkinson Academy Cardinals to victory over Inside Pitch Academy Canada, 2-0, in Game 3 at Rice. Dayton struck out four without walking any batters. Check out the last out in the video below where center fielder Noah Thompson makes the diving play to end the game. On the other end, IPA’s Tristan Boire threw six innings striking out six. Both Dayton and Boire were named pitchers of the game.

In Game 4 at Rice, Texas Stix defeated Twelve Maroon 16U, 7-5. Noah Brown threw seven innings and struck out two on his way to the win and pitcher of the game. Nicco Cole went 2-2 with one run scored and was named hitter of the game.

Drew Zapata delivered for Texas Oilers 2017 in the bottom of the 7th to defeated Premier Baseball Futures 17U Nixon in Game 5 at Rice. Check out his hit in the video embedded below. For the Jays, Alex Jones went 2-4 with one RBI. Tyler Small went 2-3 with two runs scored. Malik Williams went 1-4 with one double and one RBI and was named hitter of the game. And on the mound, Ethan Hammond threw 3.1 innings striking out three on his way to pitcher of the game.

Game 5 at SHSU ended in a 4-4 tie between DBAT Schkade and San Antonio Angels 17U. Evan Perez tied the game in the bottom of the 7th (see below). Hitters of the game were Jordon Billups (Angels) and Patrick Miner (DBAT). Both went 3-4 with Miner getting an RBI. Pitcher of the game were Maddux Solomon (Angels) and Riggs Threadgill (DBAT). Solomon threw five innings striking out just as many (5). Threadgill threw 3.2 innings and struck out one.

San Jac

In Game 1 at San Jac, Bottom of the Ninth 17U defeated Wilkinson Academy Cardinals, 4-2. Adrian Gonzales went 2-3 with two runs scored. Dalin Stanton reached base three times. Riley Schulz went 2-4 with one stolen base. Jason Jaekel went 3-3 with one double and three runs batted in. Jaekel was named hitter of the game. And on the mound, Judson Schaper threw five innings striking out just as many (5). Schaper was named pitcher of the game.

Hit King Baseball Academy defeated Texas Stix, 8-1, in Game 2 at San Jac. Casey Ryan went 2-4 with one RBI, one stolen base and one run scored. Mark Bonnain walked three times, recorded two stolen bases and scored twice. Ross Brock went 2-3 with one RBI, one stolen base and one run scored on his way to hitter of the game. Kade Morris was named player of the game after he broke up a 3-3 tie in the top of the seventh with a solo home run. In Game 4 at Premier 3, Pro Source Athletics Agamennone escaped with a victory over Columbia Angels 2018, 1-0. For the Angels, Barron Brown threw one scoreless inning striking out one batter. Dylan Conde threw six innings striking out two. For the Athletics, Jaxon Himel manufactured a perfect squeeze play in the 5th inning which would be the deciding run (see below). Evan Arrington went 2-2. Eric Ebarb went 2-2 with one double on his way to hitter of the game. And on the mound, Steven Pruett threw three one-hit innings striking out two. Allen Smith threw four one-hit innings striking out three and was named pitcher of the game.

Performance Baseball 16U defeated HP Baseball Allen, 6-3, in Game 5 at Premier 3. Performance’s Nic Costas went 1-3 with one double and one RBI. HP’s Cole Rasbury went 1-1 with one triple, three walks, one RBI, one stolen base, and one run scored. Performance’s Jase Jones went 1-1 with one double and three runs batted in on his way to hitter of the game. Cooper Rawls threw four innings and struck out two. Rawls was named pitcher of the game.

Premier 4

Twelve Maroon 16U held off DBAT Herrick, 5-4, in Game 1 at Premier 4. On the mound, Cole Gaskill threw four no-hit innings. He struck out three (see one below) on his way to pitcher of the game. Hitter of the game was DBAT’s Josh Caraway who went 1-2 with one double and two runs batted in. Also to note, Twelve’s Marshall Prether went 1-3 with one triple, one RBI and one run scored. Hunter Mayo went 1-3 with one double and one run scored.

In Game 2 at Premier 4, Texas Oilers 2018 just defeated Premier Baseball Futures 16U Nixon, 8-7. For Premier, Christopher Alfaro went 2-3 with two doubles, one RBI and one run scored. Jonathan Dalferes went 2-3 with a solo HR. For the Oilers, Dylan Hugley went 2-4 with one run scored. Thomas Gutierrez Jr. went 1-3 with two runs batted in. And Hunter O’Shea went 2-3 with one home run, two runs batted in and two runs scored. O’Shea was named hitter of the game.

Clutch Athletics 2018 defeated HP Baseball Allen, 7-1, in Game 3 at Premier 4. At the plate, Matthew Maldonado went 1-3 with one triple, one RBI and two runs scored. Bretty Baty went 1-3 with one double, one RBI and one run scored. Brittan Howeth went 2-3 with one RBI and one run scored on his way to hitter of the game. And on the mound, Zach Robert threw a complete game two-hitter striking out three and allowing no earned runs. Robert was named pitcher of the game.

In Game 4 at Premier 4, Twelve Silver 16U brought the bats to defeat DBI Blacksox, 19-4. Hitters of the game were Zach Brown and Joseph Menefee. In Game 1 at Premier 5, Bottom of the Ninth 16U held off Ontario Blue Jays Roumel, 2-1. Catcher Payton Ditta went 2-2 with one RBI. He also threw out a runner in the last inning to help secure the victory (see below). For the Blue Jays, Brandon Clarke went 2-3 and Jonah DeNardis caught a runner stealing from behind the plate. He also stole a base himself. For Bottom of the Ninth, Bryce Mead went 2-3 with one double and one run scored on his way to hitter of the game. Jaden Otts threw a complete game and struck out four. He allowed one run and was named pitcher of the game.

Game 2 at Premier 5 ended in a 0-0 tie between Houston Athletics 2018 and Dallas Mustangs Randle. For the Mustangs, Buddy Trevino threw all seven innings striking out six on his way to co-pitcher of the game. He also got a base hit in the contest. For the A’s, Dylan Whitehurst went 2-3 with one stolen base. Jacob Towber went 2-3 with one double and was named hitter of the game. And Cole McMillan threw five innings and struck out six. McMillan gave up one hit and was named co-pitcher of the game.

J.P. Marrero was a beast in Game 3 at Premier 5 as he lead Houston C2 Select 2018 White to a 13-2 victory over Columbia Angels 2018 White. What exactly did he do? Marrero went 3-3 with two home runs (see one below), one double, seven runs batted in, one stolen base and three runs scored. Without question, Marrero was named hitter of the game. Others to note, Michael McKean went 2-3 with one double, two runs batted in and one run scored. Ben Stubbs went 2-3 with two runs scored. Columbia’s Mark Stanford went 2-2 with a solo home run. Diego Rivera went 1-2 with a solo home run as well.

In Game 3 at Premier 7, Performance Baseball 16U defeated Texas Oilers 2018, 8-2. Performance’s Keylon Mack went 1-3 with two runs batted in and one run scored. Nic Costas went 1-2 with one double, two runs batted in, one stolen base, and two runs scored. Costas was named hitter of the game. On the mound, Mason Higginbotham threw 5.1 innings striking out two. He gave up two earned runs on his way to the victory and was named pitcher of the game.

Premier 8

Ontario Blue Jays Travers brought the bats to Premier 8 for their 12-2 victory over Columbia Angels 2018. Both Tyler Small and Austin Wilke went 2-4 with two runs batted in. Malik Williams went 2-4 with three runs batted in. Blake Buckle went 3-3 with one double, three runs batted in and one stolen base. Buckle was named player of the game. Also to note, Cody Cegielski went 3-4 for the Angels.

Clutch Athletics 2018 defeated Dallas Tigers Watten, 9-6, in Game 2 at Premier 8. For the Tigers, Justin Childers went 2-3 with three runs batted in. Dylan Strater reached base all four times on walks. For Clutch, Reed Beverly went 1-1 with a double and RBI. Justin Dunlap went 2-4 with one double and two runs batted in. In Game 3 at Premier 8, Pro Source Athletics Breeding narrowly defeated Premier Baseball Futures 16U Starling, 2-1. Ben Jackson threw all seven innings striking out three and walking just one batter on his way to the victory and pitcher of the game. Hitter of the game was Connor Phillips who went 2-2 with one run scored. Also to note, Pro Source’s Ben Pound went 1-2 with one RBI and one run scored. Premier’s Christian Diaz went 1-2 with one RBI. Garrett Zaskoda threw five innings striking out seven and giving up three hits.

In Game 1 at Houston, DBAT Tompkins defeated Dallas Mustangs Clements, 4-3. For DBAT, Kannon Brown picked up the win going three innings and allowing no runs. Cameron Caldwell went 1-3 with one double and one RBI. Spencer Suitt went 2-4 with one run scored. Justin Marino went 2-2 with one RBI on his way to hitter of the game. And Ryan Stuempfig threw four innings striking out seven on his way to pitcher of the game.

Houston Athletics 2018 defeated Performance Baseball 16U, 5-3. For Performance, Ren Reynolds went 2-3 with one triple and two runs scored. For the A’s, Parker Deleon went 2-3 with one RBI and two runs scored. Drew Decker went 2-3 with one run scored. Pitcher of the game was Kolton Fowler who threw five innings and struck out five. Player of the game was Justin Silva who went 1-3 with one stolen base and two runs scored. He also threw two innings striking out four and picking up the save.

In Game 3 at Houston Pro Source Athletics Breeding defeated Performance Baseball 16U, 7-1. Daylan Bower scored twice, Ben Pound went 1-2 with one RBI and one run scored, and Logan Cowart scored once and swiped one bag. Player of the game was Keegan Sueltz who went 2-3 with one triple (see below), one double and two runs scored. He also threw five innings allowing one run and striking out three batters.

Premier Baseball Futures 16U defeated Bottom of the Ninth 16U, 6-2, in Game 4. For Premier, Deigo Moore went 1-2 with two runs. Cooper McCarley went 2-3 with one double and two runs batted in. Ryan Rusinovich walked twice, stole one base and scored one run. Dawson Myrant went 1-2 with one stolen base and one run scored. Hitter of the game was Chris Alfaro who went 2-3 with one triple, one double and one RBI. Pitcher of the game was Kyle Gough who threw four innings striking out two without giving up one run.

Rice

In Game 1 at Rice, Bottom of the Ninth 17U shutout LBA Hays, 2-0. For LBA, Zach Smith went 2-3. For Bottom of Ninth, Bernie Baker went 1-2 with one double. Hitter of the game was Ryne Cooper who went 2-3 with one double and one RBI. Pitcher of the game was Jason Jaekel who threw four innings and struck out four. Also to note, catcher Cade Acrey gunned down a runner trying to steal second.

In Game 2 at Rice, Arlington Heat 17U defeated Rebels Nation, 7-3. For the Heat, Cayde Ward went 1-3 with one double. Jeremy Rodriguez threw five innings and struck out seven. He gave up four hits and one run on his way to pitcher of the game. For Rebels Nation, Jerad Mack went 2-2 with a home run. Check out his blast in the fan submitted video below.

San Antonio Angels 17U held off DBAT Tompkins, 7-6, in Game 3 at Rice. For the Angels, Luis Hernandez went 2-3 with one double and one run scored. Garrett Wilkerson went 2-3 with one run. DBAT’s Spencer Suitt went 3-4 with one double, one RBI and two runs scored on his way to hitter of the game. On the mound, DBAT’s Jack Wisniewski threw four innings giving up three hits and not walking any batters. He gave up one earned run on his way to pitcher of the game. Brenden Cumming stepped up to the plate and delivered with the game-winning RBI in the bottom of the 7th to help Columbia Angels 2018 White defeat PrimeTime Baseball Academy in Game 4 at Rice. He ended up going 3-3 with that double, one RBI and one stolen base. Check out the walk-off in the video below. Pitcher of the game was Bryce Shook who threw five innings and struck out five. He allowed four hits and one earned run. Also to note, PrimeTime’s Brannon King went 2-3 with one run scored.

SHSU

In Game 1 at SHSU, Texas Oilers 2018 defeated PrimeTime Baseball Academy, 10-4. For the Oilers, Kade McCormick went 3-5 with one RBI and one run scored. Thomas Gutierrez went 3-4 with three runs batted in and one run scored. Gutierrez was named hitter of the game. On the mound, Cole Freeman threw five innings striking out two. He gave up four hits and two runs on his way to pitcher of the game.

Dallas Mustangs Randle defeated Dallas Tigers Watten, 2-1, in Game 2 at SHSU. Bryson Hudgens went the distance (7 innings) giving up three hits, one run and striking out four. Hudgens was named pitcher of the game. Hitter of the game was David Randall who delivered with the go-ahead RBI in the 6th inning which helped his squad to victory.

In Game 3 at SHSU, LBA Hays defeated Dallas Mustangs Clements, 9-7. Zachary Smith was a two-way player going 2-3 at the plate with two runs scored and then coming in to close the game. He threw 1.1 no-hit innings to pick up the save. Hitter of the game was Seth Watts who went 2-2 with two doubles, one RBI and one run scored.

In Game 4 at SHSU, Arlington Heat 17U defeated Woodlands Express 2017, 10-0. Hitter of the game was Dillon Eatman who went 1-1 with a home run and three runs batted in on his birthday. Pitcher of the game was Ryan Thomas who threw five innings striking out five. He gave up three hits and no runs as well.

Premier 3

In Game 1 at Premier 3Pro Source Athletics Breeding defeated Houston C2 Select 2018 White, 9-3. For C2, Ben Stubbs went 1-3 with one double and two runs batted in. He also made a sick play at third which you can check out below. Dane Laird threw four innings and struck out two. He also gave up two hits, but no runs. For Pro Source, Jakob Machuca went 2-4 with two runs batted in and one run scored. Keegan Sueltz went 2-3 with one double and two runs batted in. Hitter of the game was Joe Weatherford who went 2-2 with one triple, one RBI and two runs scored. Pitcher of the game was Jourdan Erickson who threw five innings striking out two and giving up one run.

Houston C2 Select 2018 Blue defeated Bottom of the Ninth 16U, 6-1, in Game 2 at Premier 3. For Bottom of the Ninth, Garrett Leitko went 1-3 with a double. He also threw a runner out at home from center field. For C2, Blake Perry went 1-2 with one stolen base and three runs scored. Wes Folse went 1-1 with two stolen bases and two runs scored. Colton Carrion went 1-2 with two runs batted in. Pitchers of the game were Tyler Russell, Ty Ringo and Caden Homniok. Russell threw two one-hit innings striking out four and giving up one run. Ringo threw three one-hit innings giving up no runs and striking out three. And Homniok threw two one-hit innings striking out four and allowing no runs.

In Game 3 at Premier 3, Houston C2 Select 2018 White defeated Twelve Maroon 16U, 9-2. Twelve’s Adam Nguyen went 2-3 with one RBI. For C2, J.P. Marrero went 1-2 with one run scored. Walker Zander went 1-2 with one double and RBI. Hiters of the game were Charles Gordon and Michael McKean. Gordon went 3-3 with three runs batted in and one run scored. McKean went 3-3 with two runs scored. Pitcher of the game was Cullen Dickerson who threw six innings giving up three hits and one run.

Premier 4

Daniel Nunez threw a no-hitter in Game 1 at Premier 4 as his Houston Athletics 2019 squad defeated Columbia Angels 2019, 3-0. Nunez threw all seven innings striking out five and just walking three batters. Check out his last strikeout to end the game in the video below. Without a doubt, Nunez was named pitcher of the game. Helping him out on offense was David Amaya and Matthew Thompson. Amaya went 2-4 with one RBI and one run scored. Thompson went 1-1 with two runs batted in. Both Amaya and Thompson were named hitters of the game.

In Game 2 at Premier 4, Twelve Maroon defeated DBI Blacksox, 4-3. Dylan Golden went 1-3 with a three-run home run which would be the difference-maker in the game. Check that out below. Golden was named hitter of the game. On the mound, Hunter Mayo threw five innings and struck out five on his way to pitcher of the game. Also to note, DBI’s Ryan Hunt went 1-3 with an RBI.

Hit King Baseball Academy defeated Bottom of the Ninth 17U, 11-7, in Game 3 at Premier 4. For Bottom of the Ninth, Kyle Hargrove hit a triple and drove in two runs. For Hit King, Mark Bonnain went 2-4 with a grand slam. He ended up with five runs batted in and also stole a base. Brandon Walters went 3-4 with one RBI. Both Bonnain and Walters were named hitters of the game.

Premier 5

It was the Reed Wilhoit show in Game 1 at Premier 5 as DBI Blacksox defeated Premier Baseball Futures 16U Starling, 11-8. Wilhoit came up in the bottom of the 7th inning with the bases loaded and hit a walk-off grand slam to end it (see below). He finished the game going 4-4 with one triple, two doubles, the grand slam, eight runs batted in and two runs scored. Wilhoit was a dude and was named hitter of the game. For Premier, Connor Phillips went 3-4 with one triple, three runs batted in and one run scored. Phillips also was nominated for hitter of the game. Others to note: Premier’s Kyle Wilkerson went 2-3 with one double and three runs scored. Garret Zaskoda went 2-3 with three runs batted in and one run scored. DBI’s Alex Rodriguez went 2-3 with one double. Thomas Cain went 1-3 with one double, one stolen base and three runs scored. And Bryce Shanklin went 1-2 with a home run, two runs batted in and one run scored.

In Game 2 at Premier 5, Houston C2 Select 2019 White defeated Woodlands Express 2019, 8-4. For the Express, Josh Fleming went 2-3 with one double, two runs batted in and two runs scored. Aaron Goshke went 2-3 with one double, one RBI and one stolen base. Casey Sunseri went 2-3 with one stolen base. For C2, Broc Weidner went 2-3 with one RBI and one run scored. Jared Plank went 1-3 with one triple and one RBI. Shawn Huber went 2-4 with one triple, one RBI and one run scored. Hitter of the game was Payne Trozzo who went 2-4 with two doubles, one RBI and two runs scored. Pitcher of the game was Jose Perez who threw four innings striking out five.
