DBU

After being down four runs in the first inning, Thrive Baseball came back to defeat Texas Lions, 7-5, in Game 1 at DBU. Tyler Spain shut things down in relief throwing three hitless innings. He struck out five batters and was named pitcher of the game. At the plate, Trevor Hatton went 2-3 with one double, two runs batted in and two runs scored. Check out his double in the video below. His teammate Preston Schimmel went 2-2 with two runs scored. Lions’ Zac Cobb went 2-2 with one double and two runs scored as well.

In Game 2 at DBU, Academy Select Sun Devils defeated Pro Source Abbott, 10-1. Daniel Cole picked up the win pitching five innings striking out five. He also hit 91 MPH on the radar gun (see below). Cole was named pitcher of the game. Syler Sheperd went 2-3 with one double, four runs batted in, and two runs scored. Sheperd was named hitter of the game. Other key performers for the Sun Devils were Brett Cain (2-3 with three runs batted in) and Chris Olivas (3-4 with one run). For Pro Source, Campbell Schultz went 2-3 with one double and one run scored.

Dallas Patriots Stout defeated Dallas Tigers Woods, 3-1, in Game 3 at DBU. Kole Ramage picked up the win going all seven innings. Ramage allowed just one run on four hits and was named pitcher of the game. He spoke with us about his performance which you can watch in the video below. Patriots’ Will Frizzell (2-3 with two doubles) and Donovan Langston (2-3 with two runs batted in and one run scored) were named hitters of the game. Other notable performers were Patriots’ Zion Mayberry (2-2) and Tigers’ Dylan Ditzenberger (1-3 with one double).

Three-run home runs by Blayne Jones and London Green led Texas Stix 2017 Black to victory over Dallas Tigers Watten, 11-1, in Game 4 at DBU. Jones went 2-3 with one home run (see below), three runs batted in, and two runs scored. Green went 2-4 with one home run, three runs batted in, and one run scored. Green also had a tremendous day in the field making four outstanding defensive plays at second base. Jones and Green were named co-hitters of the game. Texas Stix’s Dalton Wason earned pitcher of the game honors. Wason pitched four innings allowing three hits and just one run while striking out one. Other outstanding efforts came from Colton Eager (4-4 with one double, one RBI, and three runs), Thomas Santos (3-3 with two doubles, one RBI, and two runs), and Payton Strambler (2-3 with one double and two runs batted in).

McKinney Marshals 16U defeated Performance Baseball 15U, 8-2, in Game 5 at DBU. Bryson Lyro went 2-3 with one double, one stolen base, and two runs scored en route to hitter of the game. On the mound, Dylan Haggard pitched 4.1 innings allowing just three hits and one run. Haggard struck out six hitters and was named pitcher of the game. For Performance, Cole Thompson had a nice night at the plate going 2-3 with one RBI and two stolen bases.

TCU

Cade Lewis mashed at the plate in his Texas Stix South‘s 14-4 victory over Dallas Mustangs Anderly in Game 1 at TCU. The Stix second baseman went 3-4 with three doubles and four runs batted in on his way to hitter of the game. Check out his last double in the video below. Pitcher of the game was Makane Jobe who threw four innings striking out one. He allowed two hits in the contest. Also to note, Wesley Case went 2-2 with one run scored and Matthew Mickey went 2-3 with one RBI and two runs scored.

Dallas Tigers Bustillos tied C3 Futures Worley, 2-2, in Game 2 at TCU. Griffin Wright and Joey Trevino combined for a one-hitter. Wright started the game going 3.2 innings striking out three and allowing the one hit with no earned runs. Trevino went 3.1 innings striking out five without allowing a hit or a single run. Check out his last strikeout in the video below. Trevino and Wright were both named pitchers of the game. On the other side of the bump, C3’s Jacob Frisbie threw seven innings and struck out just as many. On offense, Kendall Foster went 2-4 with one triple and two runs scored. Foster was named hitter of the game.

Texas Oilers 2017 squeaked by NTX Dirtbags 2017, 3-2, in Game 3 at TCU. On the mound, Oilers RHP Garret Hermes threw six innings strong and struck out seven. He allowed three hits and didn’t give up an earned run. Hermes also topped 88 MPH on the radar and hit 87 MPH in the 6th inning (see below). Hermes was named pitcher of the game. At the plate, Oiler’s Dillon Carter went 2-3 with one double and one stolen base on his way to hitter of the game.

UTA

Game 1 at UTA ended in a 3-3 tie between Arlington Heat 17U and NTX Banditos. For the Heat, Dillon Eatman went 1-3 with two runs batted in. On the mound, Drew Fulks threw three two-hit innings and struck out one. For the Banditos, Phillip Sikes came in to throw one inning and struck out two. Sikes hit 89 MPH on the radar gun and was named pitcher of the game. Jar Parker went 3-3 with one double and two runs scored out of the leadoff spot. Parker was named hitter of the game.

In Game 2 at UTA, Dallas Dodgers 17 Black defeated Dallas Mustangs Clements, 5-1, behind the arm of Kyler Duerson. The Dodgers’ 6-foot-5, 260-pound right-handed pitcher threw a complete game striking out two. He gave up just three hits and no earned runs on his way to pitcher of the game. At the plate, Michael Vangundy went 2-3 with one double and one RBI on his way to hitter of the game. Also to note, Dodgers’ Joseph Leal went 2-3 with one run scored and Michael Spetter went 2-3 with one RBI.

Weatherford

In Game 1 at Weatherford, McKinney Marshals 16U defeated Dallas Mustangs Anderly, 7-6. Marshals’ Cory Lewis went 2-4 with a triple and home run. He had three runs batted in on his way to hitter of the game. Also for the Marshals, Ryder Capps went 3-3 with one RBI. And for the Mustangs, Gabe Vasquez went went 2-3 with a triple and three runs batted in.

Gators Baseball defeated C3 Futures Worley, 10-6, in Game 2 at Weatherford. For the Gators, Gage Garber went 2-4 with four runs scored. Chris Torres went 2-3 with three runs batted in. And Zachary Mahoney went 2-4 with two runs batted in. All three players were named hitters of the game. Jacob Mueller also had a nice RBI double which you can check out in the video below. For C3, Zach Mesa went 1-2 with one triple and Jeffrey Worley went 1-2 with two runs scored.

Performance Baseball 15U defeated NTX Dirtbags 2018, 8-4, in Game 3 at Weatherford. For the Dirtbags, Drew Pollum went 1-3 with a double and two runs batted in. For Performance, Cole Thompson went 2-3 with one run scored. Jacob Young went 1-3 with two runs batted in. Derrick McCellon went 2-3 with a home run and four runs batted in. He also scored twice on his way to player of the game.

Thrive Baseball defeated Dallas Dodgers 16 Black, 5-3, in Game 4 at Weatherford. Thrive’s Chandler Arnold went 1-3 with a double and one RBI. Trevor Spain went 2-3 with one triple and one RBI. And Dodgers’ Gabe Dato went 2-3 with one double and two runs scored. Spain and Dato were named hitters of the game. On the mound, Thrive’s Cole Reeves threw seven innings and struck out three. He gave up six hits and two earned runs on his way to pitcher of the game.

Texas Oilers 2017 defeated Texas Lions, 8-1, in Game 1 at DBU. Matthew Walters was dominant for the Oilers pitching 4.1 scoreless innings. Walters allowed just two hits and struck out seven hitters and was named pitcher of the game. Mike Nowak was 2-3 with one home run and two runs batted in and Garret Hermes was 3-3 with one triple, one RBI, one stolen base, and two runs scored. Nowak and Hermes were named hitters of the game. Oilers’ Trystan McGee was another solid contributor going 1-3 with one double, two runs batted in, and two runs scored.

San Antonio Kings defeated Rebels Nation, 7-6, in Game 2 at DBU. Jaydan Martinez struck out 11 hitters in a complete game and was named pitcher of the game. Zach Vooletich went 2-3 with one double and three runs batted in and Randy Huerta went 1-3 with one home run and two runs batted in. Vooletich and Huerta were named hitters of the game. For Rebels Nation, Kade Morris went 3-3 with one run and Kolby Johnson went 1-3 with one triple, two runs batted in, two stolen bases, and one run scored. On the mound, Jerad Mack threw one perfect inning striking out two. Mack was up to 90 MPH on the radar gun.

NTX Dirtbags 2017 defeated Gators Baseball 2017, 12-0, in Game 3 at DBU. Reed Osborn led on the way on the mound throwing four scoreless innings. Osborn allowed just two hits and struck out three (you can watch one of his strikeouts below) and was named pitcher of the game. Cameron Wachsman went 2-3 with two doubles, three runs batted in, and two runs scored and was named hitter of the game. Dirtbags’ JJ Flores (2-3 with one stolen base and two runs), Chris Delgado (1-2 with one RBI, one stolen base, and one run) and Hunter Harp (1-3 with one double, three runs batted in, and one run) were other key contributors at the plate in the victory. In the outfield, Ridge Rogers had a great diving catch to save a run.

C3 Futures Worley 17U defeated Action Baseball 17U Green, 10-0, in Game 4 at DBU. Derrick Williams pitched all five innings allowing just one hit and no runs. Williams was named pitcher of the game. Zach Mesa went 2-3 with two doubles, two runs batted in, and two runs scored. Jeffrey Worley went 2-3 with two runs batted in and one run scored. Mesa and Williams were named hitters of the game. Justin Bratten also had a nice game going 2-3 with one RBI and one run scored. For Action Baseball, Ryan Flores pitched two scoreless innings in relief allowing just one hit while striking out two hitters.

In Game 5 at DBU, Action Baseball 17U White defeated Texas Blackhawks 2017, 6-0. Luke Malone pitched 4.1 scoreless innings allowing just one hit and striking out three. Malone was named pitcher of the game. Grant Miller pitched 2.2 scoreless innings allowing just one hit and striking out five. Miller also went 3-3 at the plate with a run and was named player of the game. Koby Kelton went 3-5 with one double and four runs batted in and was named hitter of the game. Other notable performers were Shea Gutierrez (2-3 with two runs), Hayden Craig (2-4 with one RBI and two runs) and Steven Gallardo (2-4 with one run).

Fossil Ridge

In Game 1 at Fossil Ridge, Houston Athletics 2018 defeated Dallas Dodgers 16 Black, 9-5. On the mound, Drew Decker threw 4.2 innings and struck out six. He allowed one run on his way to pitcher of the game. At the plate, Dylan Whitehurst went 2-4 with a home run. Parker DeLeon went 3-4 with two doubles and three runs batted in. Both Whitehurst and DeLeon were named hitters of the game.

HP Baseball Cunningham defeated McKinney Marshals 16U, 14-5, in Game 2 at Fossil Ridge. On the mound, Caleb Schulz threw five innings and struck out four while picking up the win on his way to pitcher of the game. At the plate, Justin Flores went 2-3 with one RBI while Jake Combs went 2-3 with two doubles and three runs batted in. Both Flores and Combs were named hitters of the game.

In Game 3 at Fossil Ridge, NTX Dirtbags 2018 defeated Houston Athletics 2018, 15-4. Garrett Blevins went 2-3 with one double and two runs batted in. Halston Hammonds went 3-4 with one double and two runs batted in. Both Blevins and Hammonds were named hitters of the game.

In Game 4 at Fossil Ridge, Rawlings Prospects Black defeated Performance Baesball 17U, 4-0. Tucker Sparks threw seven innings striking out two. He walked just one batter on his way to pitcher of the game. Helping out on offense were Owen Stuckey and Flave Carpenter. Stuckey went 1-3 with one double and one run scored. Carpenter went 1-2 with one double and one RBI. Both Stuckey and Carpenter were named hitters of the game. Also to note, Performance’s Caleb Bolden went 3-3, Matt Wyman went 2-3 and Luke Lafoy went 2-2.

Premier Baseball Futures 17U Nixon defeated NWA Prospects 17U, 8-0, in Game 5 at Fossil Ridge. Kyle McShaffry was outstanding at the plate going 3-4 with single, double and triple. He had three runs batted in and two runs scored. Check him out in the video below. His teammate Zachary McAdams was also 3-4. He had a double, two runs batted in and two runs scored. Both McShaffry and McAdams were named hitters of the game. And on the mound, Matthew Lovett threw five innings striking out six on his way to pitcher of the game.

Mountain View

Behind the arm of Alex DeLeon, Action Baseball 17U Green defeated Gators Baseball, 11-0, in Game 1 at Mountain View. The right-handed pitcher threw a five-inning no-hitter striking out eight. He allowed one walk and hit 88 MPH on the radar gun. DeLeon was named player of the game. On offense, Matthew Milliner went 2-3 with two runs batted in and two runs scored. And Collin Docker went 1-2 with one double.

C3 Futures Worley defeated NTX Dirtbags 2017, 6-3, in Game 2 at Mountain View. On the mound, Brady Disher threw seven innings and struck out five to pick up pitcher of the game. At the plate, Thomas Dunn went 2-2 with two runs batted in on his way to hitter of the game. Also to note, C3’s Derrick Williams went 2-4 with one RBI. Dirtbag’s Connor Emmet went 2-3 with one RBI.

In Game 3 at Mountain View, Rebels Nation defeated Texas Oilers 2017, 6-5. Johnathon Thomas went 2-3 with one home run and one double (see below) with three runs batted in. Thomas picked up hitter of the game. Jerad Mack and Spencer Ouellette both went 1-2 with one run scored each. For the Oilers, Drew Zapata went 2-2 with one run scored.

Jonathan Tapia was on fire in Game 4 at Mountain View as he led the San Antonio Kings to a 9-1 victory over Texas Lions. The UTSA commit went 3-3 with two home runs (see both below) and two runs batted in. He also scored three times on his way to hitter of the game. His teammates Zach Vooletech and CJ Horn also had solid performances. They both went 2-4 with two runs scored. And on the mound, Cal Carver threw seven innings and struck out nine. He gave up four hits and one earned run on his way to pitcher of the game.

TCU

In Game 1 at TCU, Pro Source Athletics Abbott defeated Texas Twelve 17U, 3-1. Connor Mushinski was solid going six innings and striking out four on his way to pitcher of the game. On offense, Jacob Nesbit went 1-3 with an opposite-field home run and two runs batted in. Check out his blast in the video below. Also to note, Avery George went 3-3 and RHP JT Penick hit 90 MPH on the radar.

Dallas Dodgers 16 Black defeated Performance Baseball 15U, 11-0, in Game 2 at TCU. Player of the game was Dalton Black who threw five one-hit innings striking out six. He also went 1-2 with one RBI at the plate. Hitters of the game were Tristan Williams and Anthony Villalobos. Williams went 2-3 with two runs batted in while Villalobos went 1-1 with one triple and two runs batted in.

In Game 3 at TCU, NTX Dirtbags 2018 defeated HP Baseball Cunningham, 4-2. On the mound, Jacob James went all seven innings striking out five. He gave up four hits, walked one batter and gave up one earned run on his way to pitcher of the game. At the plate, Ethan Smith went 2-3 with one RBI while Kyle Housman went 1-2 with one double, one RBI and one run scored. Both Smith and Housman were named hitters of the game.

UTA

In Game 1 at UTA, Mizuno Baseball USA defeated Rawlings Prospects Menard, 7-3. Matthew Stary threw seven innings and struck out 10. Check him out pitching in the video below. Stary gave up six hits, one earned run and didn’t walk a single batter. Stary was named pitcher of the game. On offense, Kade Klein went 2-4 with a run scored and was named hitter of the game. Also to note, Prospects’ Paxton Wallace went 2-4 with a double and Cooper Van Kooten went 2-3 with a double and one RBI.

Action Baseball 17U White defeated ABA 2017, 8-1, in Game 2 at UTA. Colin Wyman threw four innings and struck out one while allowing one run. Steven Gallardo threw three one-hit innings in relief. He struck out three on his way to pitcher of the game. At the plate, Grant Miller went 2-4 with one home run, two runs batted in and two runs scored. Miller was named hitter of the game.

In Game 3 at UTA, LBA Hays defeated Mizuno Baseball USA, 12-1. Pitcher of the game was Conley Green who threw five innings and struck out one with allowing one run. Hitters of the game were Aaron Bly and Bryce Gist. Bly who went 3-4 with two doubles, two runs batted in and two runs scored. Gist went 3-4 with two runs batted in and three runs scored.

ABA 2017 shutout Texas Stix 2017, 5-0, in Game 4 at UTA. Brayden Payne threw six one-hit innings and struck out three on his way to pitcher of the game. Hitters of the game were John Wuthrich and Jack White. Wuthrich went 2-4 with one RBI and one run scored. White went 1-2 with one double and two runs batted in.

Texas Twelve 17U defeated LBA Hays, 7-1, in Game 5 at UTA. Clay Aguilar threw 5.1 one-hit innings and struck out seven. He gave up no earned runs on his way to pitcher of the game. Check out one of his strikeouts on a curveball in the second video below. At the plate, Rhett McCall went 2-3 with one triple (see in first video below), one double, four runs batted in, and one run scored. McCall was named hitter of the game. Also to note, Twelve’s Jordan Yeatts went 2-3 with one double and one run scored while Kyle Lovelace went 1-3 with one double and one RBI.

Weatherford

Rawlings Arkansas Prospects Black brought their bats to Game 1 at Weatherford and defeated NWA Prospects 17U, 14-0. Nick Fakouri went 2-3 with one double, one RBI and two runs scored. Reed Shephard went 2-3 with one double, three runs batted in and two runs scored. Denver Mullins went 2-3 with one RBI and two runs scored. He also threw out a runner behind the plate. Check him out hitting in the video below. Mullins was named player of the game. And on the mound, Nick Butler threw four innings and struck out three. He also went 2-3 with two runs batted in and two runs scored.

Performance Baseball 17U defeated Premier Baseball Futures 17U Nixon, 5-2, in Game 2 at Weatherford. On the mound, SFA commit Sean Beasley threw six innings and struck out three. He gave up four hits and one run on his way to pitcher of the game. At the plate, Jacob Moore went 2-3 with two runs batted in. Moore was named hitter of the game. Also to note, Performance’s Kade Clemens went 1-3 with a solo home run. Futures’ Zachary MacAdams and Lakon Pryor each went 2-2 with one double and one run scored.

Academy Select Sun Devils shutout Rawlings Prospects Menard, 8-0, in Game 3 at Weatherford. Eric Jones dominated on the mound going all seven innings and striking out five (see one below). He didn’t allow a walk or a run (five hits) on his way to pitcher of the game. Hitters of the game were Chris Olivas and Daniel Cole. Olivas went 2-2 with three runs batted in. Cole went 2-3 with two runs batted in.

In Game 4 at Weatherford, Dallas Mustangs Clements tied Arlington Heat 17U, 10-10. Hitters of the game were Esteban Cardoza and Reed Morrison. Cardoza went 2-4 with one double and two runs batted in. Morrison went 1-2 with one home run and two runs batted in. Other strong Mustangs performances came from Tyler Riebock (3-3, 2 RBI), Charlie Curry (3-3, R), Michael Schoettmer (2-2, R), and Davis Green (2-3, RBI, R). For the Heat, Max McCarthy went 1-3 with two runs batted in and one run scored, Chris Gay went 2-4 with one double and run scored, Cayde Ward went 1-2 with one RBI, Matt Stoner went 1-2 with a double, and Ryan Thomas went 1-3 with one double, one RBI and one run scored.

Dallas Dodgers 17 Black defeated NTX Banditos, 4-3, in Game 4 at Weatherford. On the mound, Banditos’ Jacob Deegan threw four innings and struck out five. He gave up one run on his way to pitcher of the game. Hitter of the game was Joseph Leal (see below) who went 2-3 with two runs batted in. Other notable performances came from Dodgers’ Boone Montgomery (2-3, R) and Michael Spetter (2-3, R) as well as Banditos’ Phillip Sikes (2-3, RBI, R), Evan Sack (2-3) and Alex Garcia (2-3, RBI).

Kendall Foster (2-3 with one triple and one run scored) and Michael Betrus (2-3 with one double, two stolen bases, and one run scored) were named hitters of the game. Also to note, Tigers’ Frainyer Chavez went 1-3 with one RBI and one run scored. Premier’s Blake Wilson went 2-3 with one run scored and Cannon Sims pitched three innings allowing just one run on three hits and striking out three.

Dallas Patriots Brooks defeated Arlington A’s Green/Ashford, 8-2, in Game 2 at DBU. Connor Jackson pitched six innings allowing no earned runs. Jackson allowed just five hits and struck out five en route to pitcher of the game. His teammates Jackson Richardson (2-3 with one RBI and two runs) and Braden Carmichael (2-3 with three runs batted in) were named hitters of the game. Arlington’s Max Engel had a nice day at the plate going 2-3.

Thrive Baseball defeated Dallas Tigers Watten, 8-3, in Game 3 at DBU. D’Shawn Webster picked up the win on the mound. Webster pitched six innings allowing three runs on four hits and struck out three. At the plate, Webster went 2-3 with one double and one run and was named player of the game. Tigers’ Connor Denham pitched five innings and allowed three runs on four hits as well and struck out seven. Cole Reeves went 1-4 and mashed a two-run home run. Trevor Hatton went 2-4 with one run batted in and two runs scored. Reeves and Hatton were named hitters of the game. Tigers’ Tommy D’alise (2-3 with one RBI), Brooks Helmer (1-3 with one double and one stolen base), and Justin Childers (2-3 with one RBI and one run) all had nice days at the plate.

Action Baseball 17U White defeated LBA Hays, 8-4, in Game 4 at DBU. Nick Mendival pitched 5.1 innings allowing three runs on four hits and struck out seven en route to pitcher of the game. Action reliever Derrick Johnson was impressive touching 90 MPH and recorded two strikeouts in 1.2 innings (see one below). LBA Hays reliever Zach Smith also was throwing hard touching 89 MPH. LBA Hays’ Bryce Gist (2-4 with one double, two runs batted in, and one run scored) and Action’s Aidan Shepardson (2-4 with two runs batted in) were named hitters of the game.

Fossil Ridge

Dallas Dodgers 17 Black defeated McKinney Marshals 17U, 10-3, in Game 1 at Fossil Ridge. On the mound, Chase Berberich threw seven innings and struck out seven. He was named pitcher of the game. On offense, Ty Jones went 2-3 with two doubles and three runs batted in. Jones was named hitter of the game. Also to note, Boone Montgomery went 3-3 with two doubles three runs scored, Alex Moore went 2-3 with one double, one RBI and two runs scored and Cole Swilley went 1-3 with one double and three runs batted in.

In Game 2 at Fossil Ridge, Dallas Tigers Woods defeated Columbia Angels 2017, 7-6. Dylan Rock went 2-3 with a three-run blast (see below) and one double. He scored three times on his way to hitter of the game. Dominic Cox went 1-2 with a double, one RBI and one run scored. For the Tigers, Ray Gaither went 1-2 with one double, one RBI and one run scored. Jacob Martinez went 2-4 with one double, one RBI and one run scored. On the mound, Parker Bateman threw seven innings and struck out 11. Bateman was named pitcher of the game.

NTX Dirtbags 2017 defeated Texas Lions, 14-3, in Game 3 at Fossil Ridge. Isiah Diermeier went 2-3 with two doubles and two runs batted in on his way to hitter of the game. Also to note, Clayton Beeter went 1-3 with one double, one RBI and three runs scored. Lions’ Jacob Blakney went 2-2 with one run scored.

Mountain View

In Game 1 at Mountain View, Dallas Patriots Brooks defeated Texas Stix South, 1-0. For the Patriots, Braden Carmichael went all seven innings striking out four. He gave up just one hit on his way to the victory. Wesley Case threw 6.2 innings and struck out one. In a fine losing effort, he gave up one earned run. Check out both pitchers of the game in the video below. At the plate, Isaac Maes II went 2-3 with one double and one run scored on his way to hitter of the game. Zach Moreno drove in the game-winning run in the bottom of the seventh inning.

Dallas Tigers Bustillos brought the bats to Mountain View for Game 2 in their 15-0 win over Dallas Mustangs Anderly. At the plate, Frainyer Chavez went 3-4 with one home run, three runs batted in and two runs scored. Micah Dallas went 4-4 with three doubles, four runs batted in and two runs scored. Kendall Foster went 2-4 with three runs batted in and two runs scored. All three were named hitters of the game. And on the mound, Matt Foster threw four innings and struck out just as many (4). He gave up one hit on his way to pitcher of the game.

In Game 3 at Mountain View, McKinney Marshals 16U defeated NTX Dirtbags 2018, 3-1. Both starting pitchers were extremely effective for each squad. Dirtbags’ Ryan Snyder went seven innings giving up five hits and one earned run while striking out one batter. Marshals’ Cory Lewis went six innings striking out two while giving up four hits and one earned run. Lewis also went 2-2 with two runs batted in. Snyder was pitcher of the game while Lewis was player of the game. Also to note, Marshals’ Mac Lopez went 2-3 with one double and one run scored.

TCU

HP Baseball Cunningham defeated Houston Athletics 2018, 6-5, in Game 1 at TCU. On the mound for HP to start the game was Jake Combs who went five innings and struck out seven. He gave up just two hits without walking a batter. Combs hit 86 MPH on the radar gun and was named co-pitcher of the game. For the A’s, Cole McMillan threw four no-hit innings and struck six. He walked one batter and hit 87 MPH on the radar gun. McMillan was named co-pitcher of the game. Hitter of the game was Ty Boedecker who went 1-3 with one triple, one RBI and one run scored. He also made a great diving catch for the second out in the last inning (see below). Blake Cappadona went 1-2 with a double and one run scored for the A’s and Parker Deleon went 1-3 with two runs batted in and one run scored.

Action Baseball 17U Green defeated San Antonio Kings, 9-6, in Game 2 at TCU. Action’s Ryan Flores went 2-4 with two doubles and four runs batted in. He came in to pitch the last 0.2 innings and struck out one batter without giving up a hit. Flores collected the save and player of the game. His teammate Evan McDonald went 3-4 with one double (see below), two runs batted in and three runs scored. McDonald was named hitter of the game. For the Kings, Zach Vooletich went 2-4 with two runs scored, Cade Gaivan went 2-3 with one run scored, and Javi Estrada went 2-4 with two runs batted in and one run scored.

ABA 2017 shutout LBA Hays, 5-0, in Game 3 at TCU. On the mound, Mitchell Parker threw five shutout innings and struck out five. You can watch him and LBA Hays LHP Connor Carlton in the first inning in the video below. Parker gave up two hits and picked up the win on his way to pitcher of the game. His teammate Jaxon Hallmark threw one hitless inning in the seventh to close things out. At he plate, he went 4-4 with one triple, two runs batted in and one run scored. Hallmark was named hitter of the game. Also to note, Ty Coleman went 1-3 with one double and one RBI. LBA’s Seth Watts went 2-3 in the contest.

In Game 4 at TCU, Mizuno Baseball USA defeated San Antonio Angels 17U, 7-2. For Mizuno, Diego Davila went 2-4 with two runs batted in. Mason Englert went 3-3 with one double and one run scored. Eli Riechmann went 2-2 with one double and one RBI. Both Englert and Riechmann were named hitters of the game. On the mound, Adam Houghtaling threw five innings and struck out five. He gave up one unearned run on his way to pitcher of the game.

Texas Blackhawks shutout Texas Stix 2017, 5-0, in Game 5 at TCU. Josh Mears started the game going five innings and striking out three. He allowed two hits on his way to pitcher of the game. Garrett Moltzan came in to threw two scoreless innings striking out two and giving up two hits. At the plate, Layne Elrod went 2-4 with one run scored. Dylan Neuse went 3-4 with one triple and two runs scored. Spencer Sawin went 2-4 with one double, one RBI and one run scored. Both Neuse and Sawin were named hitters of the game.

UTA

In Game 1 at UTA, Premier Baseball Futures 17U Nixon defeated Arlington Heat 17U, 3-0. On the mound, Connor Elliott threw six innings and struck out seven. He gave up four hits and was named pitcher of the game. At the plate, Zachary McAdams went 2-3 with one double and two runs batted in. McAdams was named hitter of the game.

NWA Prospects 17U defeated Dallas Mustangs Clements, 11-8, in Game 2 at UTA. Connor Catron went 2-3 with one triple, one RBI and one run scored on his way to hitter of the game. Noah Miller threw five innings and struck out two. He gave up two runs and picked up the W and pitcher of the game. Also to note, Prospects’ Will Wilkins went 1-2 with one double and two runs scored while Beau Harper went 1-3 with one double and one run scored. Mustangs’ Charlie Curry went 2-3 with one run scored while Esteban Cardoza went 2-4 with one triple, one RBI and one run scored. Wyatt Stapp went 1-3 with one double and two runs scored.

Dallas Patriots Stout defeated Performance Baseball 17U, 9-0, in Game 3 at UTA. For the Patriots, Donovan Langston went 2-3 with two runs scored. Ty Bowring and Garrett Mass both went 1-3 with two runs batted in. Connor Neuman went 3-3 with one double, one RBI and two runs scored on his way to hitter of the game. On the mound, Tyler Thomas threw five innings and struck out three on his way to pitcher of the game. To note for Performance, Jacoby Bogue went 1-3 with one double and Carson Chapman went 2-3.

Rebels Nation and Gators Baseball tied 4-4 in Game 4 at UTA. Gators’ Zachary Mahoney went 2-2 with one double and two runs scored. Rebels’ Jerran Schiller went 1-2 with one double and two runs batted in. Both Mahoney and Schiller were named hitters of the game. On the mound, Jerad Mack threw two hitless innings. He struck out six batters as well. Rebel’s Art Galvin threw five innings, and struck out nine. He gave up one earned run. And Gators’ Noah Lynch threw six innings and struck out five. He gave up no earned runs. Lynch and Mack were named pitcher of the game.

Weatherford

In Game 1 at Weatherford, Texas Stix 2017 defeated Mizuno Baseball USA, 8-2. On the mound, Payton Strambler threw five innings and struck out five. He gave up three hits and one earned run on his way to pitcher of the game. At the plate, London Green went 2-3 with one double and one RBI (see below). Green was named hitter of the game. Also to note, Stix’s Jacob Arizpe went 2-4 with one double and one run scored and Watson Timmons went 1-3 with one double and two runs scored.

Texas Blackhawks defeated San Antonio Angels 17U, 11-1, in Game 2 at Weatherford. For the Blackhawks, Jack Simpson went 2-2 with one double and three runs batted in. Justin Gordon went 2-2 with one RBI. Spencer Sawin went 2-3 with two doubles and two runs batted in on his way to hitter of the game. And on the mound, Austin Whitelock threw five innings and struck out four. He gave up just one run and walked one batter on his way to pitcher of the game.

In Game 3 at Weatherford, Houston Athletics 2018 defeated Performance Baseball 15U, 4-2. On the mound, Blake Roberts threw all seven innings and struck out just as many (7). He gave up three hits, walked one batter and didn’t give up an earned run. Check him out in the video below. Roberts was named pitcher of the game. At the plate, Drew Decker went 1-1 with a double and Aidan Mackey went 1-2 with a triple and one RBI. Both Decker and Mackey were named hitters of the game.

In Game 4 at Weatherford, HP Baseball Cunningham defeated Dallas Dodgers 16 Black, 11-2. HP’s Justin Flores went 3-3 with two runs batted in on his way to hitter of the game. Tyler Thompson threw five innings and struck out four. He gave up one run and was named pitcher of the game. Also to note, HP’s Kaden Fikac went 2-3 with one RBI and one run scored.

Ryan Drake went off in Game 5 at Weatherford as C3 Futures Worley defeated Texas Oilers 2017, 9-4. C3 Futures third baseman went 3-3 with five runs batted in. He walked once and was named co-hitter of the game. C3 Futures’ Jeffrey Worley went 3-4 with three runs scored. Worley was named the other co-hitter of the game. Joshua Avery pitched 3.2 scoreless innings allowing just two hits and striking out two. Avery was the winning pitcher and was named pitcher of the game. Dillon Eatman pitched a perfect seventh inning to get the save. Performance’s Kade Clemens pitched three scoreless innings allowing just two hits and punched out two hitters.

Premier Baseball Futures 17U Nixon defeated Dallas Dodgers 17 Black, 2-1, in Game 2 at DBU. Premier’s Matthew Swick carried a no-hitter into the seventh inning and finished with seven innings pitched allowing just one hit and one run while striking out four. Dodgers’ Michael Van Gundy was just as impressive throwing all six innings allowing just one earned run on two hits while striking out four. Swick and Van Gundy were named pitchers of the game. Lakon Pryor threw out two runners from behind the plate and reached base three times while going 1-1 with one run scored en route to player of the game. Boone Montgomery had the lone hit going 1-3 and run for the Dodgers.

Rawlings Arkansas Prospects Black defeated Dallas Mustangs Clements, 13-1, in Game 3 at DBU. Denver Mullins led the charge at the plate going 2-4 with two triples (one of which you can watch below), two runs batted in, and two runs scored. Mullins was named hitter of the game. Other solid performers were Zac Freeman (2-2 with one double, two runs batted in, and three runs scored), Nick Fakouri (2-4 with two runs batted in and one run scored) and Nick Butler (2-3 with one RBI and one run scored). On the mound, Dylan Billingsley allowed zero earned runs over five innings. Billingsley only allowed three hits and struck out two hitters and was named pitcher of the game. Mustangs’ Dylan Gonzales went 2-3 and Chris Caquelin threw out two runners on the bases from behind the plate.

NTX Banditos defeated Texas Stix 2017, 7-4, in Game 4 at DBU. Nick Ellis was masterful on the mound throwing 4.1 scoreless innings. Ellis only allowed two hits and had one strike out and was named pitcher of the game. Phillip Sikes went 2-3 with one RBI and two runs scored. Evan Sack went 2-4 with two doubles, one RBI, and one run. Sikes and Sack were named hitters of the game. Stix’s right fielder Thomas Santos made an incredible throw to nail a runner at the plate which you can watch below.

In Game 5 at DBU, Columbia Angels 2017 defeated Rawlings Arkansas Prospects Menard, 11-10. Angels’ Dominic Cox went 2-4 with a leadoff home run, three runs batted in, and one run scored. Check out Cox talking about his home run in the video below. Rawlings’ Tyler Gregg went 1-4 with a home run and two runs batted in. Cox and Gregg were named hitters of the game. Angels’ Gavin Machado (2-2 with one double and three runs batted in), Dylan Rock (2-3 with one RBI and two runs), and Michael Cooper (2-3 with one RBI and three runs) all had great nights offensively. Rawlings’ Greyson Pinkett (2-3 with one run), Paxton Wallace (1-3 with one double and three runs batted in) and Chase Bryan (1-3 with one triple and two runs) were factors offensively.

Fossil Ridge

San Antonio Kings narrowly defeated Texas Oilers 2017, 9-8, in Game 1 at Fossil Ridge. At the plate, Oilers’ David Renning went 1-4, but made his one hit count. He belted a three-run home run over the left field fence (see below). Randy Huerta went 2-2 with three runs batted in for the Kings while CJ Horn, his teammate, went 3-3 with two doubles and one RBI. All three players were named hitters of the game.

In Game 2 at Fossil Ridge, Dallas Patriots Brooks defeated Premier Baseball Futures 16U Nixon, 10-6. For Premier, Christopher Alfaro went 3-4 with one double and two runs batted in. Trent Golson went 2-2 with two runs batted in. And Christian Aleman went 2-2 with one RBI and three runs scored. For the Patriots, Nick Davis went 3-4 with one double and one RBI. Tanner Lindsly went 3-3 with two runs batted in. Both Davis and Lindsly were named hitters of the game.

He collected the win and pitcher of the game. Also to note, Prospects’ Owen Stuckey went 2-3, Futures’ Kyle McShaffry went 2-3, and Future’s Lakon Pryor went 2-3 with one RBI and one run scored.

In Game 2 at Mountain View, ABA 2017 defeated Mizuno Baseball USA, 5-0. ABA’s Drew Marrufo went 2-3 with one double and two runs. Ty Coleman went 3-3 with two doubles, one RBI and one run scored on his way to hitter of the game. On the mound, Thomas Braybrooks threw all seven innings striking out four. Braybrooks gave up five hits and was named pitcher of the game. For Mizuno, Matthew Stary went 2-3 with one double.

Game 4 at Mountain View ended in a 5-5 tie between Texas Blackhawks and LBA Hays. In the game, Bryce Gist hit a grand slam which you can check out in the video below. Academy Select Sun Devils no-hit Columbia Angels 2017 in their 4-0 victory in Game 1 at TCU. Dru Dziedzic threw the first found innings striking out four batters. Preston Minor threw two innings and struck out two. And Hayden Barger threw one hitless inning. For the Angels, Travis Hester threw five innings and struck out eight. He gave up no hits and walked one batter on his way to pitcher of the game. And at the plate, Sun Devils’ Lance Russell went 1-3 with two runs batted in and one run scored. San Antonio Kings defeated Gators Baseball, 8-1, in Game 4 at Weatherford. Brandon Chamberlain threw six innings and struck out three on his way to pitcher of the game. At the plate, Zach Vooletich went 2-3 with three runs batted in. Check out his infield single in the video below. Vooletich was named hitter of the game. Also to note for the Kings, Zach DeLeon went 1-2 with one double and two runs batted in.

Academy Select Sun Devils defeated McKinney Marshals 17U, 6-5, in Game 5 at Weatherford. Jared Martin threw four one-hit innings and struck out seven without allowing an earned run. Martin was named pitcher of the game. At the plate, Brett Cain went 3-4 with one double while Zach Wilson went 3-4 with one double and two runs batted in. Both Cain and Wilson were named hitters of the game. Also to note, Tristen Lutz went 2-2 with one RBI and one run scored while Kennedy Medlock went 2-4 with one RBI and one run scored.

Dallas Patriots Stout defeated Columbia Angels 2017, 6-0. For the Patriots, Dylan Watts went 1-2 with two runs scored. Donovan Langston went 1-3 with one RBI and one run scored. He also turned a triple play in the field and was named player of the game. Check out the first hour of the game in the video below.

NTX Banditos defeated Dallas Mustangs Clements, 7-0, in Game 2 at TCU. The Banditos pitchers combined for a two-hit shutout. Phillip Sikes started the game going three innings and striking out four with one hit allowed. He hit 90 MPH on the radar gun. Zach Carrion threw three one-hit innings and struck out two. And Kyle Sweeney threw the last inning striking out two and hitting 88 MPH on the radar gun. All three were named pitchers of the game. At the plate Evan Sack went 1-3 with a two-run triple (see below). Isaiah Jones went 2-2 with one double, two runs batted in and two runs scored. Jones was named hitter of the game.

In Game 3 at TCU, NWA Prospects 17U defeated San Antonio Angels 17U, 2-0. On the mound, Dylan Qualls pitched a complete game shutout striking out four batters. He gave up five hits and didn’t walk a single batter on his way to pitcher of the game. At the plate, Beau Harper went 2-2 with one run scored on his way to hitter of the game.

Dallas Tigers Woods defeated Pro Source Athletics Abbott, 12-6, in Game 4 at TCU. At the plate, Jacob Martinez went 2-4 with one run scored. Ryan Vilade went 1-4 with one RBI and two runs scored. Jaxx Groshans went 2-5 with one RBI. Mark Ready went 2-4 with one run scored. Zach DeLoach went 3-5 with a home run, three runs batted in and two runs scored. Ray Gaither went 3-5 with a triple, two runs batted in and two runs scored. Check him out below. Both DeLoach and Gaither were named hitters of the game. In the final game of the Five Tool Finale, Dallas Dodgers 17 Black defeated Arlington Heat 17U, 11-3. At the plate for the Heat, Zack McJilton went 1-2 with one double and one run scored. Austin Tidwell went 1-2 with one triple, one RBI and two runs scored. For the Dodgers, Michael Vangundy went 1-3 with two runs batted in and one run scored. Andrew Rangel went 2-3 with two runs scored and made a nice diving play at third. Ty Jones went 3-4 with two runs batted in and two runs scored. Alex Moore went 2-4 with one double, two runs batted in and three runs scored. Jones and Moore were named hitters of the game. On the mound, Kyler Duerson threw three one-hit innings and struck out five. He allowed no runs and was named pitcher of the game.

UTA

Texas Blackhawks defeated Dallas Tigers Watten, 3-1, in Game 1 at UTA. Cesar Gomez went 2-3 with one double and two runs batted in. He also pitched the last inning collecting the save by striking out two without giving up a hit. Gomez was named player of the game. Also to note, Blackhawks Layne Elrod went 2-3 with one RBI and one run scored. Tigers’ Tommy D’alise went 3-4 with one RBI.

In Game 2 at UTA, Dallas Tigers Woods defeated McKinney Marshals 17U, 4-1. On the mound, Collins Storms threw four two-hit innings and struck out one. Dylan Ditzenberger threw three innings and struck out four. Both were named pitchers of the game. At the plate, Ryan Vilade went 2-4 with one triple, one RBI and one run scored. The Oklahoma State commit was named hitter of the game. Also to note, Jordan Groshans went 1-3 with two runs batted in.

In Game 3 at UTA, McKinney Marshals 17U defeated Columbia Angels 2017, 7-6. On the mound, Blake DiValerio threw five innings and struck out just as many (5). He gave up just one hit with no runs allowed on his way to pitcher of the game. At the plate, Kenny Rosenberg went 2-4 with one RBI on his way to hitter of the game. Also to note, Angels’ Cameron Gibbons went 2-3 with one double.

Dallas Tigers Watten defeated Arlington A’s Green/Ashford, 6-2, in Game 4 at UTA. Pitcher of the game was Kenton Pierce who threw six innings and struck out seven. He gave up four hits and allowed no runs on his way to the victory. Hitter of the game was Logan Layer who went 2-3 with one RBI. Also to note for the A’s, Blake Burrows went 2-4 with two runs batted in.

Weatherford

In Game 1 at Weatherford, Premier Baseball Futures 16U Nixon defeated San Antonio Angels 17U, 5-1. On the mound for the Angels was Matt Moran who threw six innings and struck out nine while giving up three earned runs. For the Futures, Jason Michels threw six innings and struck out five with one earned run. Both were named pitchers of the game. At the plate, Trent Golson went 2-3 with one double and two runs scored for the Futures. He was named hitter of the game.

Thrive Baseball defeated Arlington A’s Green/Ashford, 4-2, in Game 2 at Weatherford. Preston Schimmel went 3-4 with two runs batted in on his way to hitter of the game. Casey Snelson threw a complete game striking out three and giving up one earned run. Snelson was named pitcher of the game.

In Game 3 at Weatherford, Premier Baseball Futures 16U Nixon defeated Texas Stix South, 5-3. Gary “Diego” Moore went 2-3 with one RBI. He had a great at-bat to extend the final inning and get the go ahead run. Moore was named hitter of te game. On the mound, Kyle Gough threw six innings and struck out two on his way to pitcher of the game. Also to note, Trent Golson went 2-4 with one double and one RBI.

Dallas Patriots Brooks and Dallas Tigers Bustillos tied, 7-7, in Game 4 at Weatherford. Player of the game was Tigers’ Kendall Foster who went 3-4 with one triple and one RBI. Patriots Kyle Hogwood went 2-3 with one double and two runs scored. Patriots Josh Esclamado and Jackson Richardson both went 1-3 with one double and two runs batted in. Tigers’ Tyler Grigalis went 2-2 with one RBI and two runs scored.
