The Dallas Dodgers defeated DBAT Robertson 4-1 in Game 1 at DBU. Tyler Navarro started on the mound for DBAT going 4.2 innings and striking out six. His counterpart, Kole Ramage, went six innings and struck out seven on his way to thepitcher of the game. Dodgers’ Jimmy Glowenke was the player of the game after going 2-3 with a double and one RBI.

In Game 2 at DBU, the San Antonio Angels defeated the Texas Stix, 10-0. Maddux Solomon and Rishi Niak both went 1-2 with two RBI. Ty Reynolds shined the brightest for the Angels and was nominated for player of the game by going 2-3 with a triple and two RBI. On the mound, Cameron Jones went five strong innings and struck out nine on his way to the pitcher of the game.

Game 3 ended with the Twelve Maroon on top of the Oklahoma Fuel, 4-2. For the Fuel, DJ Calvert stood out by going 2-3 in the game. For Twelve Maroon, JT Penick hit a double and drove in two runs. Sam Ramirez went 2-3 with a double and two RBI and was named player of the game. And on the mound, Cole Garlin went 5.2 innings and struck out five batters. Garlin was tabbed as the pitcher of the game.

The San Antonio Angels kept the bats hot for Game 4 at DBU. They defeated Action Baseball White, 12-2. Ty Reynolds once again went 2-3, but this time with a double and two runs scored. Jordan Billups picked up player of the game by going 2-4 with a double, three RBI and one stolen base. Chandler Eaton was the pitcher of the game after striking out three and allowing one run on his way to a complete game victory.

In Game 5 at DBU, Action Baseball White bested the Top Tier Americans, 9-2. For Action, Koby Kelton went 1-2 with two walks and three runs. He also made a great diving catch in center field. Ryan Flores had a nice double with two RBI. For Top Tier, Brett Bagus went 2-3 with an RBI. Player of the game was Action’s Aiden Shepardson who went 2-3 with a triple, RBI, and one run scored. Pitcher of the game was Joe Deitz who went seven innings and struck out just as many (7) with two earned runs.

UTA

The Dallas Mustangs defeated the Amarillo Titans 9-1 in Game 1 at UTA. Nathan Hawkins went all seven innings and struck out seven batters. Hawkins only allowed one hit and one walk and was named pitcher of the game. For the Titans, Owen Carver went 1-2. For the Mustangs, Dillon Eatman and Quin Waterbury both went went 2-3 with two RBI. And Parker Bramlett went 3-4 with a double and two RBI. Bramlett named player of the game.

The NTXBC Dirtbags beat the Amarillo Titans 8-3 in Game 2 in Arlington. Julian Flores was perfect as a hitter going 4-4 with two RBI. Flores was the player of the gameMatthew Espinosa also chipped in with an RBI single and a run scored. And on the mound, Rusty Clower threw a complete game with five strikeouts. Clower only gave up two earned runs and walked one batter on his way to the pitcher of the game.

In Game 3 at UTA, Dallas Tigers Arias defeated the Texas Stix, 11-9. For the Tigers, Dawson Shelburn and Cameron Dobbspicked up co-players of the game. Shelburn had two doubles with two RBI. Dobbs reached base four times by collecting a hit and three walks. For the Stix, Clayton Kuhnen brought his bat to the park in Arlington. He went 3-4 with a double and one RBI.

It was a close one in Game 4 at UTA as DFW Twins Wimpee defeated the NTXBC Dirtbags, 3-2. Hunter Harp had a two-run double for the Dirtbags. But, DFW’s Blake Burns was the player of the game by going 2-3. On the mound, Devon Oliver went six outstanding innings striking out two. Oliver allowed two runs and didn’t give up any walks on his way to pitcher of the game.

In Game 5 at UTA, DBAT Matthews defeated the Airhogs 5-2. For DBAT, Dalton Davies went 2-3 with a double and Nick Dayton went 2-3 with a double and one RBI. Player of the game was Ty Sawka who went 2-2 with one RBI. On the mound,Kyle Flamm went two innings striking out one, giving up two hits, and no allowing a single run. Pitcher of the game was Zach Kindrach who went three innings and struck out three with two hits.

Weatherford

Dylan Caplinger hit a solo blast for the Oklahoma Fuel, but the team couldn’t get much going as the Fuel lost to PBF Sun Devils, 8-2, in Game 1 at Weatherford. Player of the game honors went to Sun Devils’ Andrew Holsey who went 2-2 with a walk and run scored. Andrew Sheridan also had a great game with two hits, a walk, and one run scored. And Garrett Gaylethrew two innings with three Ks on his way to pitcher of the game.

The Columbia Angels took one from Mizuno Baseball USA, 4-0, in Game 2 at Weatherford. Center fielder Ryan Bertelsmanmade a spectuclar play with a diving catch in the top of the 7th to help close out the game for the Angels. Bertelsman was named player of the game as he went 2-3 with a double, single, RBI, a run and the great web gem. Mikey Hoehner also had a nice day by going 2-3 with an RBI. Pitcher of the game was Matt Wilrodt who went five innings with five strikeouts. Wilrodt and Jack Dallas combined for the shutout.

 

Game 3 wasn’t shy of hits as the Texas Twelve defeated the Dallas Patriots Stout 10-6 at Weatherford. Parker Bates had a two-run double for the Twelve and Trevor Paradoski had a two-run single for the Patriots. But Michael Lawson had the best day as a hitter going 2-3 with two runs batted in on his way to player of the gamePitcher of the game was Sean Arnold who came in for two innings of relief work. Arnold shut down the scoring and collected multiple strikeouts.

Texas Twelve’s Bryan Sturges came through in the clutch with a walk-off RBI double to beat the Columbia Angels, 3-2, inGame 4 at Weatherford. By going 2-4 and adding a run in the rubber match, Sturges was nominated as player of the game. Not to go unnoticed before Sturges’ heroics was Sammy Blair‘s perfect squeeze bunt in the 5th inning. Blair’s great play helped tie the game at 2 before the eventual game-winner by Sturges. Pitcher of the game was Addison Moss who went five innings and struck out four batters.

A lot of hits were scattered throughout Game 5 at Weatherford between the Twelve Maroon and Texas Stix. The Maroon ended up victorious with a 4-1 win. Jordan Yeatts went six and two-thirds innings strong before Matt Shipman came in and got the game-ending ground out. Yeatts finished with one strike out and one run allowed on his way to pitcher of the game.Colton Starns was the player of the game as he stood out on a 2-4 night with one RBI and one run scored.

TCU

On the back of Bryce Verplank, the Dallas Mustangs defeated the Airhogs, 4-2, in Game 1 at TCU. Down 1-0 in the fourth, Verplank belted a two-run homer well over the left field fence. He was also the player of the game. For the Airhogs, Jarrett Madrid went 2-3 and Zach Smith went 1-3 with a double, stolen base, and a run scored. Caleb Freeman sat at 88 MPH through 5.2 innings and recorded six strikeouts. For the Mustangs, Ben Kiefer hit a double, scored a run, and was solid behind the plate — he caught two runners stealing. Pitcher of the game was Zack Eggers who went six innings, struck out seven and allowed one run.

Haylen Green was lights in Game 2 at TCU as the PBF Sun Devils defeated Mizuno Baseball USA, 7-1. Green was player and pitcher of the game as he went five scoreless innings with 12 strikeouts, three hits, and one walk. On offense for the Sun Devils, Hunter Edwards went 1-2 with a double and two RBI and Chase Kemp went 1-3 with two RBI and one run scored. And for Mizuno, Kellen Rogers went 1-2 with a walk and two stolen bases.

In Game 3 at TCU, the Dallas Patriots Stout beat the Dallas Tigers Arias, 4-1. For the Patriots, Zach Chastain went 2-3 with an RBI. Hunter Seay went 1-2 with one walk, one stolen base, and an RBI. But the player of the game was Braden Shewmakewho went 1-2 with a walk, stolen base, two runs scored, and one RBI. The pitcher of the game was Jonathan Heasley who went 5.2 innings with six strikeouts and no earned runs.

In Game 1 at DBU, the Arlington A’s pounded Mizuno Baseball USA, 16-3. Shea Langeliers was 2-3 with a two-run double in the third and finished with three RBI. Mark Shreiner was 3-3 and added four RBI. Jackson Glenn took home player of the game honors as he went 2-3 with a triple, double, and two RBI. Pitcher of the game was DBU commit Jacob Webb who completed five innings of work on the mound and struck out five. Hunter Edwards and the PBF Sun Devils shut out the Texas Stix, 6-0, in Game 2 at DBU. Edwards sat at 86-88 MPH and waspitcher of the game by going six innings and allowing no runs. On offense, Micheal Mott went 2-3 with a double and one RBI. And Chase Kemp went 2-3 with two doubles and three RBI. Kemp was named player of the game. In Game 3 at DBU, the Columbia Angels defeated Dallas Tigers Arias, 7-6. Early errors in the second inning accounted for three runs. Cameron Dobbs further helped the Tigers get to a 6-1 lead with his three-run triple. But, the Angels had a big fourth inning as they eventually came back to win 7-6. Player of the game was Zack Sweet who had a double and one RBI.Pitcher of the game was David Burts who went four innings, struck out three, and gave up zero earned runs. In Game 4 at DBU, the Texas Twelve knocked off the West Texas ABA, 9-2. In his second game of the day, Twelve’s Sammy Blair went 3-3 with a walk and was player of the gameAddison Moss went 2-4 with two RBI, and Parker Bates went 1-2 with two RBI. Pitcher of the game was Mathew Bennett who threw six innings of one-hit ball and stuck out four. UTA

In Game 1 at UTA, the San Antonio Angels defeated the Oklahoma Fuel, 5-1. Angels second baseman Jack Wisniewskiflashed the leather and made three great plays during the game. Starting pitcher Ty Reynolds went six innings and struck out three on his way to pitcher of the game. Reynolds also chipped in on offense by going 2-3 with an RBI double. Kros Bay added to the offense with a multi-hit game going 2-3. Player of the game was Maddux Solomon who went 2-3 with two RBI. In Game 2 at UTA, the San Antonio Angels pounded out 15 hits on their way to a 9-1 victory over the Top Tier Americans. Angels’ Mason Corbett went 3-4 and Jack Wisniewski went 2-4 with an RBI. Player of the game was Jordan Billups who went 2-3 with two RBI. On the mound, Jake Hennessy dealt for six innings striking out nine and giving up three hits and one walk. Hennessy was the pitcher of the game. Game 3 between the Dallas Dodgers and Twelve Maroon ended in a 3-3 tie at UTA. For the Dodgers, Michael Vangundy andBoone Montgomery both went 2-3 with an RBI a piece. And for the Twelve, William Cox went 2-3 with a triple and two RBI on his way to player of the gamePitcher of the game was Jake Lyons (Dodgers) who went all seven innings and struck out seven. Lyons gave up four hits, two earned runs, and walked one.

In Game 4 at UTA, DBAT Robertson bested the Texas Stix, 7-2. Conner Anderson was the player of the game after a solid offensive performance — 3-3 with a triple, RBI, and two runs scored. Pitcher of the game was Noah Sifrit who went six innings and struck out five. On 74 pitches, Sifrit gave up three hits, one run and allowed no walks. Game 5 Twelve Maroon vs Top Tier Americans – Cancelled due to weather.

Weatherford

In Game 1 at Weatherford, DBAT Robertson came out victorious over Action Baseball, 9-7. DBAT’s Connor Anderson crushed a two-run home run, and Heston Kjerstad was player of the game after going 3-4. Kjerstad had an RBI triple and two runs scored as well. On the mound, Paul Ryan Johnson came in late and shut things down. Johnson threw two innings and struck out one on his way to pitcher of the game. Johnson also went 2-3 at the plate with one run scored. The Wichita Reds run-ruled the Dallas Mustangs, 11-1, in Game 2 at Weatherford. Mustangs’ Caleb Scires tripled early on, but was left stranded at third as the team couldn’t get much going. Later on, Tanner Padgett dropped a two-run bomb to get the scoring started for the Reds and the club never looked back. Padgett ended up going 3-4 with the home run, a double, and five RBI on his way to player of the gameMcCae Allen of the Reds pitched five innings and allowed one run. Allen struck out five on his way to pitcher of the game.

In Game 3 at Weatherford, the CBA Texas Mavs held off the Airhogs, 8-6. The Mavs, led by Lukas Polanco‘s two-run single, put up a seven-spot in the bottom of the second inning. Airhogs answered with two runs in the fourth inning thanks to a pair of hits from Davis Martin and Max Martinez. Martinez ended his day going 3-4 with a double and one RBI on his way toco-player of the game. The other co-player of the game was Zach Smith who went 4-4. Pitcher of the game was the Mavs’ Jacob Feret who pitched 6.1 innings and struck out three. The Amarillo Titans defeated the DFW Twins Wimpee, 7-2, in Game 4 at Weatherford. In the top of the second, Zac Castrogot things going for the Titans with a two-out RBI double. The Titans scored on two straight passed balls to make it 3-0. Easton Neese pitched a solid five innings yielding two runs and striking out three on his way to pitcher of the gameOwen Carver was the player of the game going 2-3 with two stolen bases. Carver also made a spectacular throw from center field to nail the runner out at the plate in the bottom of the 5th. In Game 5 at Weatherford, Anthony Suarez of the NTXBC Dirtbags threw a complete game two-hitter to defeat DBAT Matthews, 4-1. Suarez picked up pitcher of the game as he only allowed one run and struck out six. Mason Peterson led the charge on offense with two hits and one stolen base. Peterson finished the day going 2-2 with two runs scored and was named player of the game.

TCU

In Game 1 at TCU, Texas Twelve defeated the Dallas Tigers Arias, 9-3. Parker Bates went 1-2 with a triple and two runs scored. Bates also walked twice. Sammy Blair was player of the game after his 2-2 performance with two RBI, two runs scored, one walk, and one stolen base. Twelve starting pitcher CJ Varela struck out three in the first inning and four overall in 3.2 innings pitched. Varela sat at 88-89 MPH, gave up no earned runs, and was named pitcher of the game. In Game 2 at TCU, West Texas ABA beat Action Baseball, 12-5. Two guys had great performances on offense for ABA. Hunter Coleman was 2-4 with two doubles and one RBI and JR Erwin was 2-4 with a double, triple, and three RBI. Coleman and Erwin were nominated as co-players of the game.

Texas Stix defeated Action Baseball, 6-2, in Game 4 at TCU. Action’s Rhett Welch went 1-3 with a two-run double late in the game. But, it was all Stix as Jake Slaughter went 1-3 with a double and scored twice. And Sean Townsend went 1-3 with a two-run double on his way to player of the gamePitcher of the game was Nick O’Brien who pitched five innings of one-hit baseball and struck out seven. In Game 5 at TCU, the Fort Worth Cats beat the Columbia Angels in a close one, 3-2. Williams Sheats for the Cats went 1-2 with a double and one run scored. Hunter Bolling went 2-3 with two RBI and was named player of the gameJaron Roblyerpitched five excellent innings only allowing one hit and striking out three. Roblyer was tabbed pitcher of the game.

The Airhogs and DFW Twins Wimpee ended in a 3-3 tie in Game 1 at DBU. Airhogs’ Max Martinez threw seven innings striking out two and giving up two earned runs. Martinez also helped his cause at the plate by going 1-3 with an RBI. Davis Martin picked up player of the game honors by going 2-3 with a triple and one RBI. Twins’ Paul McCullough was 2-4 with one double and one run scored. Joe Fragano was the pitcher of the game after going six innings and striking out five with three runs allowed. In Game 2 at DBU, DBAT Matthews handled the Amarillo Titans, 13-2. Jacob Barnes stood out on the day by going 3-3 with a double and one RBI. Barnes was the player of the game. And on the mound, Aaron Stramel was pitcher of the game by completing three innings of work, striking out three, and allowing one hit. Game 3 at DBU ended in a 3-2 victory for the CBA Texas Mavs over the Wichita RedsPlayer of the game was Zach Farrar who went 3-3 with a triple and one run scored. Pitcher of the game was Colston Harris who threw four strong innings and struck out four. The NTXBC Dirtbags beat the Dallas Mustangs, 5-3, in Game 4 at DBU. Julian Flores had a nice double, one run, and one stolen base for the Dirtbags. Clayton Beeter delivered a big two-out, two-run single in the top of the sixth. Mason Petersonwas player of the game after going 2-3 with two swiped bags. Pitcher of the game was Nick Van Zee who completed three innings of work and struck out two. In Game 5 at DBU, Action Baseball knocked off the Fort Worth Cats, 9-7. In the fourth inning, William Sheats hit an RBI double and scored a run. In the sixth, Chance Medina singled to drive in a run. Medina finished the night 2-3 with a triple and three RBI and was named the player of the game. On the mound, Carson Childers threw four innings and struck out two. Childers was named pitcher of the game.

UTA

Game 1 at UTA was all Bryan Sturges‘ as he hit a triple and grand slam with six RBI in Texas Twelve‘s 12-2 victory over theOklahoma Fuel. Sturges took home player of the game honors for his performance. His teammate, Parker Bates, had a nice game with one triple and one RBI. Michael Lawson also had one triple, one single, and one RBI for the Twelve. In Game 2 at UTA, West Texas ABA defeated PBF Sun Devils, 6-5. For the Sun Devils, Brandon Young threw five innings and struck out eight batters. Young gave up two earned runs and got the no decision on his way to pitcher of the game. On offense, Tyler Bielamowicz and Chase Kemp both went 2-3. For ABA, JR Erwin had a nice RBI single (see video embedded below). Kyler Genenbacher went 1-2 with a triple and was named player of the game.   In Game 3 at UTA, the Columbia Angels beat the CBA Texas Mavs, 3-2. For CBA, Olajide Olorutimilehin went 2-3 with a stolen base. Bryce Hill was pitcher of the game after he went five innings, gave up two earned runs, and struck out nine. For the Angels, Ryan Bertelsman was 1-1 with a triple, walk, and one run scored on his way to player of the gameBrandon Pruitt also had a fine game as he went 2-2 with a stolen base and one run scored. Zack Sweet went 2-3 with a double and one run scored.

Weatherford

The Oklahoma Fuel downed the Dallas Tigers in Game 1 at Weatherford, 8-1. Fuel’s Tanner Madden was 2-3 with one RBI, one run scored, and one stolen base on his way to player of the gamePitcher of the game was Zach Moore who completed five innings on the mound and struck out five. Not to be forgotten, Tigers’ Myles Paschall made a great diving catch to prevent a two-run double at the end the sixth inning. The PBF Sun Devils held off the Arlington A’s, 3-2, in Game 2 at Weatherford. Brandon Young was player of the game for his 2-3 performance and one run scored. Pitcher of the game was Chase Kemp who threw six innings and gave up four hits.

In Game 3 at Weatherford, the Dallas Patriots Stout defeated the Fort Worth Cats, 7-2. The Patriots got things going early with an RBI triple from Michael Neustifter. Neustifter ended the game 3-3 with that triple, two doubles, and two RBI on his way to player of the game. On the mound, Michael Spinozzi tossed two innings and struck out two. Spinozzi did not give up any runs and was named pitcher of the game. DBAT Robertson beat the Oklahoma Fuel, 11-1, in five innings in Game 4 at Weatherford. In the fourth, Garrett Wright had an RBI double. Moments later, Trystan McGee delivered with an RBI triple and Jacob Moore followed up with an RBI double. McGee finished the game 2-3 with two RBI and was nominated as player of the gamePitcher of the game was Luke Scaggswho threw 4.2 innings and struck out three. Action Baseball beat the Dallas Dodgers, 4-2, in Game 5 at Weatherford. For Action, Steven Gallardo went 2-3 with two runs scored. Gallardo had a single in the fifth inning and a double in the seventh inning to earn player of the game. On the mound, Tyler Clark-Chiapparelli only gave up one hit through 5.1 innings and struck out six. Chiapparelli was named pitcher of the game.

TCU

In Game 1 at TCU, the San Antonio Angels beat DBAT Robertson 3-2. DBAT’s Heston Kjerstad was 1-3 with an inside the park home run and two RBI. Conner Anderson was 2-2 with one walk. For the Angels, Jordon Billups was 1-3 with two RBI and Maddux Solomon was 1-3 with one run scored. Solomon also threw six innings on the mound and gave up two earned runs on his way to pitcher of the gamePlayer of the game was Nick Palmer who went 2-2 and had the game-winning run in the seventh inning for the Angels. The Dallas Dodgers defeated the Top Tier Americans, 8-2, in Game 2 at TCU. Dodgers’ Joseph Leal went 2-2 with a double, stolen base, walk, and one run scored. Collin Chidiac had a nice game going 2-3 at the plate with three RBI. Chidiac also ended the game on the mound for the Dodgers and struck out the game’s final batter. Player of the game was Jimmy Glowenke who went 2-3 with one stolen base and one RBI. Pitcher of the game was Conner Neuman who threw six innings and struck out four.   It was all Action Baseball as they defeated Twelve Maroon, 13-0, in Game 3 at TCU. Koby Kelton started the game off with a triple and had another single in the fifth. Ryan Flores hit a mammoth two-run blast over the right field fence in the third inning and scored another run in the fifth. Tyler Clark-Chiapparelli was player of the game after going 4-4 with one RBI and three runs scored. Pitcher of the game was Cole Quintanilla who threw a one-hitter through five innings and struck out 10 batters. The Texas Stix knocked off the Top Tier Americans, 7-3, in Game 4 at TCU. Thomas Santos impressed those in attendance by going 2-4 with two triples and two RBI. Santos was nominated as player of the game. On the mound, Adrian Graciatossed three innings of one-hit baseball and struck out one. Gracia allowed no earned runs and was named the pitcher of the game. Joe Lienhard and Garrett Cobb got into a little bit of a pitcher’s duel in Game 5 at TCU as the Amarillo Titans squeaked by the Wichita Reds in eight innings. Cobb gave up two hits and struck out four batters in six innings of work. Lienhard pitched seven innings of one-hit baseball and struck out 10 on his way to pitcher of the game. The bright spot on offense for the Reds was Tanner Padgett who went 3-4 with two doubles and one RBI on his way to player of the game. For the Titans,Reese Patterson had two hits on the night. And in the bottom of the eighth inning, Zac Castro delivered the walk-off infield single for the Titans to win by a score of 2-1.

McKinney Boyd

Games were moved to McKinney Boyd high school due to early morning rain at UTA. In Game 1 at McKinney Boyd, Mizuno Baseball USA defeated Action Baseball, 5-4. Action’s Johnny Panatex was pitcher of the game despite getting the no decision. In five innings, Panatex struck out seven batters. On offense for Action, John Robles went 1-3 with a double and two RBI. For Mizuno, Dustin Saenz hit the walk-off RBI single in the bottom of the seventh to earn player of the game. In Game 2 at McKinney Boyd, the Texas Stix defeated Mizuno Baseball USA, 9-0. Juan Rubayo was player of the game going 1-2 with a two-run double. Pitcher of the game was Alex Griggs who threw all seven innings and only allowed one hit. In Game 1 at UTA, the Arlington A’s defeated the Fort Worth Cats, 11-8. Standing out for the A’s was Mark Schreiner who went 2-4 with two RBI. For the Cats, Jacob Rains went 3-3 with two doubles and was named player of the game. On the mound, Trevor Hukill got the start and went four innings. Hukill struck out three and was named pitcher of the game. West Texas ABA defeated the Fort Worth Cats, 9-2, in Game 2 at UTA. ABA shortstop Grant Little had a solid game on defense flashing his glove and showing off his strong arm. On offense, Dillon Renz went 3-3 with one double and three RBI. Renz also scored a run and was named player of the game. On the bump, Dusty Dykes went 5.1 innings deep allowing two runs and striking out one. Dykes was named pitcher of the game. In Game 3 at UTA, Dallas Patriots Stout knocked off West Texas ABA, 8-5. The Patriots out hit ABA, 12-8, which ended up being the difference in the game. Zack Chastain went 1-2 with a double and one RBI. Jordan Wiley went 2-3 with a double and three RBI. Wiley was named player of the game. And to end the game, Hunter Seay came in during the seventh inning and picked up the save. Seay struck out one and was named pitcher of the game. The Wichita Reds defeated the Airhogs, 6-1, in the final game (Game 4) at UTA. Mason LeClair tossed four innings on the mound and gave up no earned runs. Bryce Unruh pitched three innings in relief and gave up no runs. LeClair and Unruh allowed three total hits and were named co-pitchers of the game. And at the plate, Dalton Dinkel went 2-3 with three RBI and was named player of the game.

DBAT Matthews blanked the Wichita Reds, 7-0, in Game 1 at Weatherford. DBAT scored six runs in the first three innings which allowed starting pitcher Ryan Van Leeuwan to coast. Van Leeuwan allowed one hit through four innings and struck out five on his way to pitcher of the gameJacob Barnes went 1-3 with one walk and one run scored. And Marco Navarrowent 1-2 with an RBI triple on his way to player of the game. The Texas Stix defeated the DFW Twins Wimpee, 12-4, in Game 2 at Weatherford. Keith Johnson was unconscious in the batter’s box going 4-4 with three doubles and three RBI. He also scored two runs and was named player of the game. On the mound, Jonathan Smithey dealt for five innings and struck out eight. Smithey allowed two runs and was named pitcher of the game. In Game 3 at Weatherford, the Oklahoma Fuel just squeezed by the Dallas Dodgers, 5-4. Michael Vangundy went 2-3 with a double and one run scored. DJ Calvert was player of the game for his 2-3, RBI performance. And pitcher of the game wasTyler Kisner who threw three innings and gave up one hit. In the final game at Weatherford (Game 4), the Arlington A’s defeated Action Baseball, 6-3. Pitcher of the game was Jordan Johnson who tossed three shutout innings and struck out just as many (3). Player of the game was Mark Schreiner who went 2-3 with one RBI.

TCU

Game 1 at TCU ended in a 5-5 tie between the Texas Stix and Oklahoma Fuel. For the Fuel, Kros Bay went 2-3 with an RBI and one walk. Tyler Kisner went 2-4 with two stolen bases. For the Stix, London Green reached base three times and ended the day going 1-3 with an RBI and one stolen base. Nikolas Sanchez went 2-3 with one double and one RBI on his way toplayer of the game. On the mound, Levi Prater threw three innings and struck out four. Prater gave up one hit and allowed one earned run on his way to pitcher of the game. In Game 2 at TCU, the CBA Texas Mavs fell to the NTXBC Dirtbags, 6-5. For the Mavs, Zach Farrar went 1-3 with an RBI.Travis Albritton went 1-1 with one walk and two runs scored. For the Dirtbags, Mason Whitmarsh took home player of the game honors after going 1-2 with an RBI single and one run scored. Pitcher of the game was Parker Niemeyer who came in the fifth inning and shut things down. Niemeyer threw 2.1 innings and struck out three.   The Dallas Mustangs took care of business in Game 3 at TCU as they beat the CBA Texas Mavs, 13-5. Caleb Scires reached base each time up as he went 3-3 with one double, two singles, and one walk. Scires also stole two bases and drove in one run on his way to co-player of the game. The other player of the game was Justin Marino who went 3-3 with one home run and five RBI. Marino also swiped a bag and scored two runs. Manny Torralba had a nice game going 2-4 with one triple, an RBI, and two runs scored. Dillon Eatman had a bases-clearing double in the contest. For the Mavs, Olajide Oloruntimilehinwent 1-3 with one double, two RBI, and two runs scored. DBAT Matthews ended things at TCU (Game 4) with a 12-6 victory over the DFW Twins Wimpee. For the Twins, Cole Maxwellwent 2-3 with a home run into the left field bullpen and a double to deep center field. For DBAT, Dolan Nicholson went 4-4 with one double, one single, one stolen base, and two RBI. Nicholson and Maxwell were co-players of the game. Others to note: Aaron Stramel reached base four times with one hit and three walks. Nick Dayton went 1-3 with a two-run triple. AndCamden Harrison went 2-3 at the plate with an RBI-triple and two runs scored.

V Tool Show Pitcher  — Haylen Green: 5 IP, 12 Ks, 3H, 1 BB, 0 ER PBF Sun Devils left-handed pitcher Haylen Green was lights out in his Thursday night start against Mizuno Baseball USA. At TCU, Green had eight strikeouts through the first three innings as he was named both pitcher and player of the game. The southpaw is a 2016 from Lufkin, TX and plays for Lufkin High School in the spring. Hitter — Bryan Sturges: 8-16, 9 RBI, HR, 2 3B, 3 2B, 2 BB, 6R, SB Texas Twelve’s Bryan Sturges got a hit and then some in all five games in the V Tool Show. The highlight for Sturges came Saturday afternoon when he ended Game 1 at UTA with a triple and a grand slam with six runs batted in. Sturges is a 2016 from Katy, TX and attends Seven Lakes High School.

In Game 1 at The Gabe, D-BAT Vega 16U defeated Fort Worth Cats White, 4-2. Cats LHP Austin Smith had a no-hitter through four innings before giving up three consecutive singles in the fifth where he eventually got out of the jam. Smith ended his day with six innings pitched and seven strikeouts. Cats catcher Ricky Rivera went 2-3 with a solo shot over the left field fence. Rivera also had one double and was named hitter of the game. For D-BAT, Connor Mangus pitched a complete game striking out six. Mangus gave up two runs on his way to pitcher of the game.

 

 

The Jet Stole home! The Jet stole home! Gators Baseball‘s Grayson Lee stole home for the go-ahead run in the top of the seventh in Game 2 at The Gabe which helped the Gators get by the Blackhawks, 1-0. Lee was 2-2 with three total stolen bases on his way to hitter of the game. On the mound, Will Knight threw 5.1 innings and struck out four on his way topitcher of the game.

Ethan Lincecum had a great game on the mound going five innings strong and striking out five as the Fort Worth Cats Whitedefeated the Blackhawks, 8-1, in Game 3 at The Gabe. Lincecum gave up no hits and was named pitcher of the game. At the plate, the Spencer Suitt hit a solo home run in the first inning and added another single in the fifth. Ricky Rivera went 2-2 with one double, one RBI, and one run scored on his way to hitter of the game.

Performance Baseball held off Gators Baseball, 4-3, in Game 4 at The Gabe. Colby Adkins went 2-2 with two doubles and one run on his way to hitter of the game. On the mound, Kolten Eberlan threw four innings and struck out five. Eberlan allowed two hits on his way to pitcher of the game.

Performance Baseball held off D-BAT Vega all the way to the end in Game 5 at The Gabe. Performance baseball won 4-3 thanks to the heroics of Peyton Miller. Miller threw four innings and struck out three. He also went 3-3 with one run and the game-winning RBI. Miller was named player of the game. Others notable performances: Leadoff man Josh Chewing went 3-3. D-BAT’s Connor Mangus went 1-3 with one double and two runs scored. Colby Adkins made ridiculous plays at shortstop by flashing some intense range and a serious arm.

Field 7

Dallas Tigers Bankston just got by C3 Futures, 1-0, in Game 1 at Field 7. Tigers manufactured the game’s only run after a leadoff double by Pete Hamrick and a successful squeeze bunt by Brandon Earnest. Hamrick ended the game going 2-3 on his way to hitter of the game. On the bump, Matthew Nittolo threw a complete game and struck out seven. Nittolo was named pitcher of the game.

Jake Lyons dealt in Game 2 at Field 7 in the Dallas Dodgers 2-0 victory over the Columbia Angels. Lyons struck out nine batters in five innings and was named pitcher of the gameCollin Chidiac also had a nice game on the mound throwing two innings of no-hit baseball and striking out two. Jimmy Glowenke went 1-2 with one double, one RBI, and one stolen base.Alex Moore went 2-3 with one RBI, one stolen base, and one run scored on his way to hitter of the game. For the Angels,Cody Cegielski went 1-2 with a triple.

In Game 3 at Field 7, Columbia Angels defeated C3 Futures, 3-0. Pitcher of the game was Colson Kostelnik who three 6.1 innings of three-hit baseball. Kostelnik struck out eight batters and allowed no runs. Standing out on offense was Reed Hamilton who went 2-3 with one double and two RBIs. Hamilton was the hitter of the game.

Action Baseball 16U Green knocked off Texas Stix, 7-2, in Game 4 at Field 7. Bradley Tuttle got the ball to start the game and went five innings allowing no earned runs. Tuttle struck out two on his way to pitcher of the game. Action’s Christian Jonesfollowed up Tuttle in relief pitching two innings of scoreless baseball. On offense, Heath Duly went 2-2 with two doubles and two RBIs. Turner Gryseels went 2-4 with two doubles, one walk, one stolen base, and three runs.

In Game 5 at Field 7, the Dallas Dodgers defeated Action Baseball 2017 Green, 9-0. Dodgers’ Kole Ramage went 1-1 with two walks, two stolen bases, and two runs scored. Joseph Leal went 2-2 with one RBI, one walk, and one stolen bases and was named hitter of the gameConnor Neuman went 1-2 with an RBI double (see video below), one walk, and one run scored. Neuman also threw a complete game (6.0 innings) shutout in which he allowed one hit and struck out four. Neuman was named pitcher of the game.

Field 8

In Game 1 at Field 8, Dallas Tigers Rogatski defeated the Texas Oilers, 11-2. Will Guzman went 2-4 with a nice double and one RBI. Parker Kelly went 3-4 with three singles. Cody Masters went 2-4 with double down the right field line and two-run double to left center. Masters was hitter of the game. Pitching for the Tigers was Lyle Hibbitts who threw seven innings and gave up two runs. Hibbitts struck out seven on his way to pitcher of the game.

In Game 2 at Field 8, the Texas Oilers beat THZ Academy, 8-1. Matthew Walters pitched a complete game and struck out nine on his way to pitcher of the gameBen Swanger went 3-3 with two doubles and two RBIs on his way to hitter of the game.

Arlington Heat Red defeated THZ Academy, 7-6, in Game 3 at Field 8. On the mound, Dillon Zapata threw 5.1 innings and struck out three. Zapata also had four pickoffs in the game and allowed no earned runs on his way to pitcher of the game.Matt Hilbrich went 2-3 with two doubles, one walk, and two RBIs. Hilbrich was named hitter of the game.

C2 Baseball 16U Dilligard squeezed by Arlington Heat Red, 7-6, in Game 4 at Field 8. Jaret Masters went 1-3 with a double and one RBI on his way to hitter of the game. Will Bond threw four innings and struck out one. Bond allowed one run on his way to pitcher of the game.

Dallas Tigers Rogatski held of C2 Baseball 16U Dilligard, 3-0, in Game 5 at Field 8. Parker Jelly got a hit in every at-bat going 3-3. Pete Panko and Will Guzman both went 1-2 with one double. And Seth Green went 1-3 with one double and two RBIs on his way to hitter of the game. On the mound, Zach Holifield threw a seven-inning complete game shutout. Holifield struck out seven batters and was named pitcher of the game.

Dallas Tigers Watten blanked the Texas Stix, 11-0, in Game 1 at Field 9. The Tigers got things going early with back-to-back home runs from Logan Layer and Brooks Helmer. Layer also had a double and one single on his way to co-hitter of the game. Tigers’ Mike Plybon hit a three-run shot in the game as well. Gabe Kurtzahls went 4-4 with two doubles, one triple, and two RBIs. Kurtzahls was named the other co-hitter of the game. And on the mound, Kenton Pierce went four innings and struck out five. Pierce gave up one hit and was named pitcher of the game.

In Game 2 at Field 9Dallas Tigers Watten defeated Action 2018 White, 10-5. Brooks Helmer himself another game going 2-3 with a home run and 5 RBIs. Justin Childers went 2-2 with one RBI, one walk, one stolen base, and two runs scored. Both Helmer and Childers were nominated as hitters of the game.

Game 3 on on Field 9 ended in a 5-5 tie between Action 2018 White and the Fort Worth Cats. For Action, Justin Hernandezwent 2-3 with a home run in the top of the fifth inning. Hernandez had a double as well and ended with five RBIs on his way to hitter of the game. For the Cats, Will Buchholz went 3-3 with two RBI. Check out one of his hits in the video embedded below. And left-handed pitcher Cade Farr threw 4.1 innings and struck out five on his way to pitcher of the game.

With 13 hits, Texas Stix Yeager beat the Columbia Angels, 10-9, in Game 4 at Field 9. Alex Garza went 2-4 with a two-run double. Cole Brown had hits from both sides of the plate as he went 3-4 with a triple, RBI, and three runs scored. Brown was named player of the game for his performance. For the Angels, Brandon Deskins went 2-2 with two RBIs.

In Game 5 at Field 9, the Fort Worth Cats held off the Columbia Angels, 3-2. Devin Alvey had a nice night on the mound and at the plate. Alvey threw three scoreless innings to get the win and hit a double. Alvey was named pitcher of the game.Brandon Uhse went 1-2 with a two-run homer and was named hitter of the game.

Field 10

Josh Freeman threw a complete game in the NTXBC Dirtbags‘ 3-1 win over the Texas Oilers in Game 1 at Field 10. Freeman gave up one run, four hits, and struck out one on the mound for the Dirtbags. At the plate, Freeman collected a hit and was named player of the game. Others to note: Parker Humphrey went 1-2 with a run, Logan Winter went 1-3, and Cole Hill went 1-3 with a run scored. For the Dirtbags, Sean Lennox went 1-3 with a run scored.

Game 4 at Field 10 was a slugfest in which Dallas Tigers Hecht knocked off the San Antonio Angels, 14-11. Kendall Fosterwas 4-4 with one double, one triple, and three RBIs. Foster also threw a runner out at the plate from centerfield. Needles to say, Foster was the player of the game.

In Game 5 at Field 10, Dallas Tigers Hecht defeated Performance Baseball, 8-2. Bijan Kamalipour had a nice night going 2-3 with one double and one RBI. Kamalipour was named hitter of the game. And on the mound, Seth McLaughlin threw five innings and struck out four. McLaughlin allowed one run and was named pitcher of the game.

The Gabe

It was a pitcher’s duel in Game 1 at The Gabe as the Texas Oilers held off the Arlington Heat Red, 2-1. The Heat’s Christian Hallack threw seven innings and struck out eight batters. But, he was bested by Oilers LHP Chris Lacher who also threw seven innings and struck out five on his way to picking up the win and pitcher of the game. Offense was sparse, but the Heat’s Sean Harcrow went 3-3 with one run scored. Oilers’ Hayden Boyd went 2-3 with one double and two runs scored. Boyd was named hitter of the game.

Game 2 at The Gabe ended in a 4-3 victory for Arlington Heat Red over Dallas Tigers Rogatski just before the rain hit the ballfields. Game 1 at The Gabe was all Nathan Owles as the the Texas Stix defeated the Texas Oilers, 3-0. Owles delivered both on the mound and at the plate as the crafty lefty threw seven innings, struck out eight batters, and gave up no walks. On offense, Owles hit from the lead-off spot and went 2-3 with one run scored. Needless to say, Owles was named player of the game.

In Game 2 at The Gabe, Dallas Tigers Woods beat D-BAT Matthews, 5-2, on the back of starting pitcher Zach Deloach. On the mound, Deloach threw four innings and struck out seven. At the plate, Deloach delivered with a grand slam off the right-field scoreboard in the fifth inning which eventually helped win the game. Deloach was named player of the game. Before the blast, D-BAT’s Justin Slaten threw four no-hit innings and gave up no runs. Slaten was named pitcher of the game.

D-BAT Vega held off the Texas Stix, 4-0, in Game 3 at Field 8. Player of the game was Evan Alexander who went 2-3 with one home run and two RBIs. Pitcher of the game was Matt Lowery who threw six innings and struck out five with no earned runs. Lowery also went 2-3 with an RBI double at the plate.

In Game 4 at Field 8, D-BAT Vega fell to the Amarillo Titans, 4-1. Blake Perdue went 2-3 with one RBI and one run scored on his way to hitter of the gameRyne Williams threw six innings and struck out four. Williams gave up three hits and one earned run on his way to pitcher of the game.

C2 Baseball Medlock defeated the Oklahoma Fuel, 6-2, in Game 1 at Field 9. LHP Jacob Steinman threw a complete game and struck out eight batters with one walk. Steinman was named pitcher of the game. At the plate, Nick Tamez went 3-4 with one run and was named hitter of the game.

NTX Bandito’s defeated the Oklahoma Fuel, 4-3, in Game 2 at Field 9. Phillip Sikes hit a home run in the third to give the Bandito’s a 2-1 lead and they never looked back. Alex Garcia went 2-3 with a home run and two RBIs. Garcia also had a stolen base and one run on his way to player of the game.

Arlington Heat Navy beat C2 Baseball Medlock, 9-2, in Game 3 at Field 9. Chris Gay went 2-2 with three RBIs and one double. Spencer Sackett also went 2-2 with one double, one walk, and three runs scored. Both Gay and Sackett were namedhitters of the game. On the mound, Drew Fulks threw 5.1 innings and struck out four batters. Fulks gave up one walk and two runs on his way to pitcher of the game.

Storm Baseball beat the Texas Stix, 8-1, in Game 4 at Field 9. Hitter of the game was Liam McEntee who went 1-2 with a two-run moonshot to left field. On the mound, Joey Marinello pitched with conviction. Marinello went five innings and struck out seven. He allowed two hits and walked one on his way to pitcher of the game.

Field 10

D-BAT Dean beat the San Antonio Angels, 13-4, in Game 1 at Field 10. Colton Obertheir went 2-5 with one double and one two-run home run. Marc Schwartz went 3-4 with a grand slam and was named hitter of the game. On the mound, William Gilbert threw four innings and struck out just as many (4). Gilbert allowed two runs and was named pitcher of the game.

In Game 2 at Field 10, Dallas Tigers Bankston knocked off the San Antonio Angels, 7-1. Austin Sanford threw five innings and gave up no runs. Sanford also struck out six and was named pitcher of the gameChas Pederson went 2-3 with one run and one RBI. Pederson was named hitter of the game.

In Game 3 at Field 10, D-BAT Dean beat Dallas Tigers Bankston, 7-1. The bright spot for the Tigers was catcher Cole Solomonwho caught three runners stealing. For D-BAT, Blake Lazarine had a nice pinch-hit solo home run. Erik Owen went 1-2 with one double, two RBIs, three walks, and three runs scored. Corbin Hernandez went 2-3 with three RBIs and one stolen base. Both Owen and Hernandez were named hitters of the game. On the mound, Cagan Balderee was dominant. Balderee threw five innings and struck out four. He allowed one hit with no earned runs and was named pitcher of the game.

LHP Max Martinez went the distance for the Airhogs in their 2-1 victory over the Texas Oilers in Game 4 at Field 10. It took 86 pitches for Martinez to go seven innings and strike out six batters. Martinez gave up four hits, one unearned run, and went 1-3 at the plate on his way to player of the game. Airhogs’ Cam Vega had a solid game at catcher. Vega threw out a runner in the seventh to end the game and secure the victory.

In Game 1 at The Gabe, D-BAT Matthews defeated the San Antonio Angels, 6-3. On the mound, Aaron Stramel threw four and struck out three. Stramel allowed one run and was named pitcher of the game. At the plate, Jacob Barnes went 2-3 with three stolen bases. Barnes picked up a run on his way to hitter of the game.

Tanner McCaskey was perfect as the Airhogs defeated the San Antonio Angels, 11-0, in Game 2 at The Gabe. McCaskey pitched five innings, struck out seven of the 15 batters faced, allowed no walks and didn’t give up any hits. Without a doubt, McCaskey was named pitcher of the game. On offense, Max Martinez went 1-3 with a two-run double. And Aaron Page went 2-3 with two RBIs and one stolen base. Page was named hitter of the game.

 

The Airhogs lost to D-BAT Dean, 4-1, in Game 3 at The Gabe. LHP Jackson Rutledge threw a complete game (seven innings) and struck out seven batters. NTX Bandito’s knocked off C2 Baseball, 9-1, in Game 1 at Field 7. Nick Ellis went 1-3 with one RBI and two runs scored. Zion Mayberry went 1-3 with one double and one walk. Phillip Sikes went 1-2 with one double, two RBIs and one run scored on his way to hitter of the game. Pitching for the Bandito’s was Zach Carrion who threw 4.1 innings. Carrion struck out four and gave up one run on his way to pitcher of the game.

In Game 2 at Field 7, Texas Stix squeezed by C2 Baseball, 2-1. James Larue went 2-3 with one run scored. Grayson Parkerwent 2-2 with one walk and a stolen base on his way to hitter of the gameCameron Fisher also had a nice game offensively going 1-3 with one double and a run scored, but dealt on the mound. The Texas Oilers beat DFW Twins Wimpee, 2-1, in Game 3 at Field 7. For the Oilers, Sean Lopez went 1-3 with one double and one run scored. Clarke Creel went 1-3 with one run scored. On the mound, Isaac Allen pitched a complete game four-hitter. Allen also struck out four with two walks and was named pitcher of the game.

In Game 4 at Field 7, Dallas Dodgers beat C3 Futures Baseball 4-1. Kyle Duerson threw three innings with one walk and no runs on his way to pitcher of the gameBoone Montgomery also had a nice game on the mound going 3.1 innings and allowing one hit with two walks, one unearned run, and one strikeout. Hitter of the game was Jimmy Glowenke who went 1-2 with one double, one RBI, and one run scored.

D-BAT Wilson beat D-BAT Vega, 3-0, in Game 1 at Field 8. Sawyer Lake was lights out as he threw a complete game one-hitter. Lake struck out 11 and was named pitcher of the game. On offense, Cameron Valle went 1-3 with one double and two runs scored. Valle was named hitter of the game.

Also to note, JJ Rodriguez pitched 4.2 innings and struck out seven for the Cats.

In Game 4 at Field 9, NTX Bandito’s beat Arlington Heat Navy, 3-0. Phillip Sikes went 2-2 with one walk and one stolen base on the way to hitter of the gameTyler Follis threw a complete game five-hitter. Follis struck out eight on his way to pitcher of the game.

Hammrick struck out nine batters on his way to pitcher of the game. Also to note on Hammrick’s game, he went 2-2 at the plate. Hitter of the game was Rylan King who went 1-2 with a home run.

Despite the loss, Thomas Braybrooks was named pitcher of the game after throwing seven innings and striking out eight. Braybrooks also allowed only four hits in his gem.

Mac N Seitz held off BBA Titans, 3-2, in Game 2 at Putnam City HS. Blake Wiles had a great game behind the plate throwing out two base runners. On offense, Riley Pint dropped an opposite field bomb and had a double with two runs scored. Pint was named hitter of the game. On the mound, Connor Davis threw seven innings and struck out six. Davis gave up two runs and was named pitcher of the game.

D-BAT Robertson defeated ABA Baseball, 4-1, in Game 3 at Putnam City HS. Hitter of the game was Corbin Tatom who went 2-2 with one double and two runs scored. Pitcher of the game was Jake Pfeiffer who threw five innings and struck out three.

In Game 4 at Putnam City HS, the San Antonio Angels defeated West Texas ABA, 7-4. Maddux Solomon threw 5.1 innings and struck out seven on his way to pitcher of the game. ABA’s DH John Wurthrich went 3-3 with three doubles. Angels’Mason Corbett went 2-4 with the game-winning RBI double in the top of the seventh to pick up hitter of the game.

In Game 5 at Putnam City HS, Dallas Tigers Watten defeated the Wichita Reds, 2-1. On defense for the Tigers, shortstopLogan Layer had eight put outs. On offense, Brooks Helmer went 1-3 with the game-winning two-run home run and was named hitter of the game. On the mound, JT Gutierrez threw seven innings and struck out six. On offense, Paul Ryan Johnson went 3-3 with two doubles and two RBIs. He also had one stolen base and was named hitter of the game.

Game 2 at OU ended in a 8-5 victory for the Airhogs over the BBA Titans. On the mound, Max Martinez threw 6.2 innings and struck out four. Martinez also hit a stand-up triple off the right-center wall while picking up pitcher of the game honors.Zach Smith went 2-3 with one double, one RBI and one run scored. Smith was named hitter of the game.

Action Baseball 2016 White just got by Oklahoma Sandlot, 8-7, in Game 3 at OU. Chance Medina went 1-3 in the game with a triple and one RBI. Brayden Payne also chipped in by way of an RBI single. Hitter of the game was Rhett Welch who went 2-3 with one RBI.

Game 1 took extra innings at OSU as Twelve 16U Silver beat D-BAT Dean, 5-4. Twelve scored one run in the bottom of the 7th with two outs to tie the game and one in the bottom of the 8th with two outs to win the game. For Twelve, Brennan Lucas went 1-3 with one triple and two RBIs. Brandon Holdren went 1-2 with two walks and the walk-off single. Rhett McCallwent 2-3 with two runs scored and the game-winning run. McCall was named hitter of the game. For D-BAT, Colton Obertheir went 2-3 with one double, one RBI, one walk, and one run scored. Brooks Wallace went 2-4 with two runs scored and Blake Dean went 2-4 with one double and one RBI. On the mound, D-BAT’s Justin Lewis threw 2.2 innings in relief allowing no runs, no hits, and striking out one. Lewis was named pitcher of the game.

In Game 3 at Oklahoma, Dallas Tigers Woods defeated Oklahoma Fuel 17U, 8-4. Eli Davis threw six innings and struck out seven to pick up pitcher of the game. Lance Russell went 2-3 with one triple and two RBIs on his way to hitter of the game. Also to note, Russell played some solid defense with a spectacular diving catch at third.

Oklahoma Fuel 16U beat ABA, 3-2, in Game 4 at Oklahoma. Levi Prater threw five innings and struck out four with one run. Prater was named pitcher of the game. At the plate, DJ Calvert went 1-2 with one double and was named hitter of the game.

In Game 5 at Oklahoma, North Texas Bandito’s defeated Houston Select Baseball, 12-1. On the mound, Nick Ellis threw 3.2 innings and struck out four with one hit allowed on his way to pitcher of the gamePhillip Sikes went 1-2 with one triple and one RBI to pick up hitter of the game.

In Game 6 at Oklahoma, West Texas ABA held off Midwest Elite, 7-6. Bo Blessie threw 4.1 innings and struck out three on his way to pitcher of the gameTy Coleman went 1-3 with one triple and one RBI. And John Wuthrich went 2-3 with one triple and one double on his way to hitter of the game.

OSU

Game 1 at OSU ended in a 10-5 victory for BBA Titans over Midwest Nationals Grey. BBA’s Brody Gibson went 3-3 with one double, one walk, and two runs scored. For Midwest, Brett Hamit went 4-4 with one triple, one double, and two runs scored on his way to hitter of the game. On the mound, Grant Ketchel threw 1.2 innings with three strikeouts and got the save. Ketchel was named pitcher of the game.

Arlington Heat held of D-BAT Schkade, 5-4, in Game 2 at OSU. For D-BAT, Connor Gage went 2-3 with two RBIs and one run scored. For the Heat, Zack McJilton went 2-3 with two RBIs and one stolen base. Chris Gay went 3-4 with two RBIs and was named hitter of the game. On the mound, Reed Morrison threw five innings and struck out five. Morrison got the win and was named pitcher of the game.

Mac N Seitz Elite beat Action Baseball 2016 White, 10-0, in Game 3 at OSU. Riley Pint was the star of the game making nice plays at shortstop and going 2-3 with one double and two RBIs at the plate. Pint also scored two runs and was named hitter of the gameJon Wemhoff threw all six innings for Mac N Seitz with one strikeout. Wemhoff only walked one batter and gave up three hits on his way to pitcher of the game.

BBA Titans defeated the San Antonio Angels, 9-3, in Game 4 at OSU. Oral Roberts commit Spencer Henson went 2-3 with two RBIs and threw a scoreless 7th inning with one strikeout. Anthony Martinez went 2-3 with one walk, one RBI, one stolen base, and one run scored. Parker Dunn went 2-2 with two doubles, one RBI, and three runs scored on his way to hitter of the game. For the Angels, Maddux Solomon went 2-3 with one double and one run scored. Jack Wisniewski went 2-3 with one double. And on the mound for the Titans, Noah Garner threw four innings and gave up one run on his way to pitcher of the game.

Twelve 17U Maroon knocked off Mac N Seitz, 2-1, in Game 5 at OSU. Carter Smith threw three innings in relief and only allowed one run on two hits. Smith also picked up the win. Christian Springfield thew four innings and struck out two with no runs allowed. Springfield was named pitcher of the game. On offense, Houston Tarwater went 2-3 with one double and the game-winning RBI single to pick up hitter of the game.

In Game 6 at OSU, Sandlot defeated Dallas Tigers Arias by a score of 5-0. TCU commit Zach Humphreys went 3-3 with one walk, one RBI and two stolen bases — impressive for a catcher. Dawson Shelburn went 3-3 with one double and four RBIs on his way to hitter of the game. Also to note, Shelburn had one run scored and two stolen bases. And on the mound,Charles King threw three scoreless innings and struck out four on his way to pitcher of the game.

Oklahoma Christian

In Game 1 at Oklahoma Christian, Dallas Tigers Arias defeated Oklahoma Fuel 17U, 6-4. Hitter of the game was Cameron Dobbs who went 2-3 with two triples, two runs, and one RBI. Pitcher of the game was Connor Prado who threw three innings and struck out two batters.

In Game 2 at Oklahoma Christian, Twelve 16U Silver beat D-BAT Robertson, 5-4. Trent McMeans went 1-2 with a solo blast to earn hitter of the game honors. And Cole Sichley threw five innings with four strikeouts and one earned run to pick uppitcher of the game.

Midwest Elite 15U defeated the Columbia Angels, 9-2, in Game 3 at Oklahoma Christian. Kade Self had a huge game on offense going 4-5 with one triple, two doubles, and three RBIs on his way to hitter of the gameTyler Polk had a huge game on the mound throwing seven innings and striking out 11 batters with one earned run on his way to pitcher of the game.

Amarillo Titans defeated BBA Titans, 10-8, in Game 4 at Oklahoma Christian. Skyler Nelson went 2-4 with a two-run home run. Matt Merrill went 3-3 with two home runs, one double, and three RBIs. Both Nelson and Merrill were named hitters of the game.

In Game 5 at Oklahoma Christian, the Wichita Reds beat Fort Worth Cats White, 13-12. Christopher Meitzner stood out the most going 3-4 with three doubles and four RBIs. Meitzner was named hitter of the game.

In Game 6 at Oklahoma Christian, Fort Worth Cats White beat Oklahoma Fuel 16U, 9-4. Spencer Suitt was a single short of the cycle as he went 3-3 with one triple, one double, and a three-run home run. Suitt was named player of the game.

Putnam City HS

It was all Dallas Tigers Woods as they defeated D-BAT Dean, 13-2, in Game 1 at Putnam City HS. Ryan Vilade went 2-2 with one home run and two RBIs. Vilade also had two runs on his way to hitter of the game. On the mound, William Adair threw four innings and struck out three. Adair was named pitcher of the game.

Sandlot Sox defeated D-BAT Dean, 13-5, in Game 2 at Putnam City HS. Charlie Case threw three strong innings giving up one run and striking out four to pick up pitcher of the gameNicky Woodley went 1-2 with a two-run home run. Peyton Battenfield went 3-3 with one stolen base and two runs scored. Both Woodley and Battenfield were named hitters of the game.

Midwest Nationals Grey and North Texas Bandito’s ended in a 4-4 tie in Game 3 at Putnam City HS. For the Bandito’s, Tyler Follis threw five innings and struck out seven on his way to pitcher of the game. For Midwest, Oklahoma signee Jake Terrywent 3-4 with one run scored on his way to hitter of the game.

In Game 4 at Putnam City HS, Dallas Tigers Watten defeated Action Baseball 2018 White, 5-4. Pitcher of the gamewas Brooks Helmer who threw seven innings and struck out 11 batters. Hitter of the game was Action’s Jacob Flores who went 3-4 with one triple, one double, and two RBIs.

Airhogs defeated Twelve Silver, 8-5, in Game 5 at Putnam City HS. Tyler Stacey threw four innings and struck out six on his way to pitcher of the gameSage Valenzuela went 2-3 with one double and two RBIs on his way to hitter of the game.

D-BAT Schkade defeated BBA Titans, 10-7, in Game 4 at Putnam City HS. Titans’ Sy Snedeker went 2-2 with two RBIs and one run scored. Matt Merrill went 1-3 with a home run. D-BAT’s Reese Durand went 4-4 with an inside-the-park home run, one double, and three RBIs. All three players were named hitters of the game.

I-35 Series

2016 — Cameron Dobbs: 6-15, 4 3B,  5 RBI, 4 BB, 7R

Dallas Tigers Arias’ Cameron Dobbs hit four triples in the I-35 Series. Dobbs displayed his speed and turned on the jets to leg out those triples while adding a couple more hits for a successful weekend. Dobbs is a 2016 from Dallas, TX and attends Jesuit College Prep.

2017 — Ryan Vilade: 9-16, 3 HR, 2B, 8 RBI, 3BB, 9R

Dallas Tigers Woods’ Ryan Vilade had a stupid weekend. In five games, he hit three home runs and scored nine times.

Dallas Tigers Woods knocked off Academy Select Sun Devils Ingram, 6-1, in Game 3 at DBU. Ross Cadena went 1-3 with one triple and one RBI. Zach DeLoach went 1-3 with one triple and two RBIs. Ryan Vilade went 1-3 with a three-run home run and was named hitter of the game. On the mound, Eli Davis threw six innings with one strike out and four hits. Davis was named pitcher of the game.

Airhogs and Gators Baseball ended in a 9-9 tie in Game 4 at DBU. The Gators scored three in the bottom of the 7th to come back and tie the game. 24 total hits were recorded as well. Gators’ Scott Hastings had a nice two-run double. Airhogs’ Brock Martin was a home run short of the cycle going 3-3 with one triple and one double. Martin also had one walk and four RBIs on his way to picking up hitter of the game.

Texas Stix Heitz defeated Dallas Tigers Woods, 9-1, in Game 5 at DBU. Trevor Jurecka went 2-3 with two doubles and three RBIs. Bradley Gneiting went 3-4 with one triple, one double, one RBI, and one run scored to pick up hitter of the game. On the mound, Matthew Canterino threw three innings and struck out five with no hits and no runs allowed. Canterino was named pitcher of the game.

UTA

The Oklahoma Fuel held off Action Baseball 17U Silver, 2-1, in Game 1 at UTA. Austin Warfel threw five innings and struck out seven to pick up pitcher of the game. On defense, Action center fielder Diego Cruz made an incredible diving catch in left center field with two outs and a runner on second in the bottom of the fourth. On offense, Ben MacNaughton went 1-2 with one RBI and was named hitter of the game.

D-BAT Robertson defeated C2 Baseball, 4-2, in Game 2 at UTA. Noah Sifrit threw five innings and struck out eight while allowing one hit and one walk to pick up pitcher of the gameBraxton Fulford went 1-2 with a two-run single to pick uphitter of the game.

Action Baseball 17U Silver defeated C2 Baseball, 5-4, in Game 3 at UTA. Patrick Rogers was named pitcher of the game after going four innings and striking out just as many (4). Miles Allan went 2-3 with a two-run double and picked up hitter of the game.

Fort Worth Cats White defeated Mizuno Baseball USA, 6-2, in Game 4 at UTA. Kyle Cullen went 3-3 with one double and two runs scored on his way to hitter of the gameParker Bateman was nominated as pitcher of the game after going all seven innings, striking out two, and giving up five hits.

In Game 5 at UTA, DFW Twins beat D-BAT Dean, 8-5. Pitcher of the game was Hunter Harris who threw five innings and struck out five. Harris only allowed one run and two hits. Michael Burgess went 2-3 with one walk and one RBI on his way tohitter of the game.

Weatherford

Airhogs took care of business in the Game 1 at Weatherford as they beat the NTXBC Dirtbags, 8-2. Brock Martin picked right back up where he left off from the V Tool I-35 Series as he went 1-2 with one triple and two RBIs on his way to hitter of the gameZach Smith threw five innings with two strikeouts and one hit allowed. Smith was named pitcher of the game.

In Game 2 at Weatherford, Gators Baseball defeated CBA Texas Mavs, 8-7. Gators RHP Gray Prewitt held the Mavericks two two runs through five innings to eventually pick up the win. Pruitt struck out five batters and was named pitcher of the game. On offense CBA’s Zach Farrar went 3-4 with one double and three RBIs. Farrar also had two runs scored and two stolen bases on his way to hitter of the game.

Dallas Tigers Arias slugged out 15 hits on their way to a 13-2 victory over CBA Texas Mavs in Game 3 at Weatherford.Hayden Kettler went 3-4 with two doubles, three RBIs, and three runs scored. Ray Gaither went 3-3 with two doubles, three RBIs, and three runs scored. Both Kettler and Gaither were named hitters of the gamePatrick Shore was dominant in his four innings of work striking out three and allowing one hit to pick up pitcher of the game.

D-BAT Robertson defeated Oklahoma Fuel, 9-1, in Game 4 at Weatherford. Jake Pfeiffer threw five innings and struck out seven with three hits and one run allowed. Pfeiffer was named pitcher of the game. On offense, Garrett Wright went 2-2 with one double and three RBIs. Wright was named hitter of the game.

In Game 5 at Weatherford, Academy Select Sun Devils Ingram defeated Action Baseball 17U Green, 5-3. Player of the gamewas Kade Clemens who went 1-1 with one double, two walks, two RBIs, and two runs scored.

TCU

Twelve Maroon defeated Dallas Patriots Brooks, 3-0, in Game 1 at TCU. For the Patriots, Dylan Watts went 2-3. For Twelve,Lucas Jensen went 1-2 with one double and one RBI. Hunter Thomas went 1-3 with a two-run double to pick up hitter of the game. On the mound, Jordan Powell threw four innings and struck out five. Powell allowed two hits with no earned runs and was named pitcher of the game.

In Game 2 at TCU, BPA Baseball beat Action Baseball 17U Green, 3-1. Davis Wendzel went 2-3 with a two-run double (see video embedded below) to lead BPA to victory and pick up hitter of the game. For Action, Tyler Nelson went 3-3 with one run scored. On the mound, Josh Haupt-Jimenez threw three innings and struck out two to pick up pitcher of the game.

BPA Baseball won their second of the game as they blanked Dallas Patriots Brooks, 3-0, in Game 3 at TCU. Three pitchers combined for a one-hitter with Joey Garman throwing four innings to pick up pitcher of the gameJoey Bussone went 1-1 with two runs scored and was named hitter of the game.

Top Tier Americans defeated Twelve Maroon, 4-2, in Game 4 at TCU. Cal Coughlin was dominant as he pitched a complete game two-hitter and struck out 13. Coughlin, the TCU commit, hit 92 and 93 MPH on the radar gun at his future school on the way to pitcher of the gameJack Coney went 2-2 with one double, one RBI, and one run scored.

D-BAT Dean shutout Texas Stix, 6-0, in Game 2 at UTA thanks to the strong pitching performance by Colton Brasher. The southpaw went all seven innings striking out seven and allowing three hits with one walk. Brasher was named pitcher of the game. His counterpart, Nick Skeffington, threw four one-hit innings striking out eight. On offense, Bradley Gneiting went 2-3 with one double for the Stix. In Game 3 at Weatherford, Mac N Seitz Austin defeated Oklahoma Fuel, 9-3. Jaime Mitchell went 3-4 with three runs. Brett Ingram went 3-3 with one home run and three RBIs. Ingram was named hitter of the gamePitcher of the game was EJ Freeman who threw seven innings and struck out five.

DFW Twins Wimpee defeated NTXBC Dirtbags, 5-3, in Game 4 at Weatherford. Michael Burgess was on top of his game both on offense and on the mound. Burgess went 2-2 with two RBIs at the plate. As the closer, Burgess threw 2.1 innings and struck out two to pick up the save. Without a doubt, Burgess was named player of the game.

In the battle of Tigers, Dallas Tigers Arias defeated Dallas Tigers Woods, 1-0, in Game 5 at Weatherford. For Woods, Russell Smith threw 6.2 innings, struck out 12, walked three, gave up two hits and one run. For Arias, MD Johnson threw seven innings and struck out nine with four walks, three hits, and no runs allowed. Both Smith and Johnson were named pitchers of the game. On offense, Zachary Humphries went 1-2 with the game-winning RBI single in the bottom of the seventh with two outs. Humphries was named hitter of the game.

TCU

C2 Baseball scored two runs in the bottom of the 7th inning to come from behind to beat Mac N Seitz Austin, 6-5, in Game 1at TCU. It was Hunter Grayson who delivered with the game-winning sacrifice fly. Mark Davis went 3-4 with two doubles and two RBIs — one of which was the game-tying. Davis was named hitter of the game. Mac N Seitz’s Eric Tubaugh had a nice game as well going 3-4 and getting dirty at shortstop (check out his uniform in the video embedded below). Pitcher of the game was Brett Walls who threw five innings and struck out just as many (5).

In Game 2 at TCU, Action Baseball White defeated D-BAT Robertson, 13-7. Joe Deitz threw 6.1 innings and struck out three to pick up pitcher of the game. Marcus Castillo went 2-3 with two RBIs and two runs scored to pick up hitter of the game.

In Game 3 at TCU, Fort Worth Cats White defeated Gators Baseball, 4-3. Tucker Mauser threw two innings and struck out three to pick up pitcher of the gameBrylyn Lea went 1-3 with the game-winning RBI single to pick up hitter of the game.

Game 4 at TCU ended in a 6-2 victory for D-BAT Dean over CBA Texas MavsAustin DeLeon went 2-3 with two walks, one RBI, two stolen bases, and two runs scored to pick up hitter of the game. Blake Lazarine also had two hits in the contest going 2-4 with one double. On the mound, Jackson Rutledge threw six innings and struck out five batters with no walks to pick up pitcher of the game.

Texas Blackhawks knocked off Texas Stix, 4-1, in Game 5 at TCU. The Blackhawks threw multiple pitchers but starter Garrett Moltzan had the best outing with two innings and two strikeouts. Moltzan gave up one hit and no walks on the way topitcher of the gameMateo Gil went 1-2 with one stolen base and was named hitter of the game. Also to note, Josh Villarealwent 1-3 with one triple.

Texas Stix Heitz defeated Action Baseball Green, 10-0, in Game 1 at TCU. Alex Steigler threw four innings and struck out six with no walks to pick up pitcher of the game. Bradley Gneiting had a nice game going 3-4 with two triples and two RBIs. Gneiting was named hitter of the game.

In Game 2 at TCU, Airhogs defeated Mizuno Baseball USA, 3-0. Texas Tech commit Caleb Freeman was outstanding as he threw a complete game shutout. Freeman allowed two hits and struck out nine to pick up pitcher of the game. Shortstop Logan Vega went 1-3 with two stolen bases and one run scored to pick up hitter of the game.

Mizuno Baseball USA beat DFW Twins Wimpee, 10-4, in Game 3 at TCU. Despite not starting, Dylan Ditzenberger struck out eight batters in 4.2 innings of relief work to pick up pitcher of the gameKellen Rogers went 1-2 with two RBIs and two runs scored to pick up hitter of the game.

Academy Select Sun Devils Ingram defeated the Columbia Angels, 11-1, in Game 4 at TCU. Tristen Lutz went 3-4 with two doubles. Adam Oviedo went 3-3 with one stolen base and three runs scored. Kade Clemens went 3-3 with two triples, three RBIs and two runs scored on his way to hitter of the gameEric Jones threw six innings with one walk and five strikeouts to pick up pitcher of the game.

It took extra innings, but NTXBC Dirtbags got the job done to beat Oklahoma Fuel, 5-3, in Game 5 at TCU. Pitcher of the game was Mason Whitmarsh who threw four innings and struck out two with no runs allowed. Hunter Harp went 1-4 with two RBIs and was named hitter of the game.

Game 1 at UTA ended in a 4-3 victory for the Blackhawks over Mac N Seitz Austin. On the mound, Baylor Hinz threw five innings with three earned runs and two walks. Carlos Tavera closed the game in one inning and recorded two strikeouts to pick up the save and pitcher of the game. For Mac N Seitz, Jamie Mitchell went 2-3 with one triple and one run. For the Blackhawks, Mateo Gil went 1-2 with one triple, one RBI, and one run scored to pick up hitter of the game.

In Game 2 at UTA, Mac N Seitz Austin defeated Texas Stix South, 12-10. For the Stix, Matthew Hickey went 3-4 with one double, three RBIs, and two runs scored. Dominic Legato went 3-4 with two RBIs and two runs for Mac N Seitz. Both players were named hitters of the game.

Pro Source Athletics defeated Texas Stix South, 7-4, in Game 3 at UTA. On the mound, Wyatt Hasson threw 3.1 innings and struck out three. Hasson didn’t walk any players and gave up no runs to pick up pitcher of the game. On offense, Connor Mushinski dished it out as he went 2-3 with one triple and one RBI. Mushinski also scored two runs and swiped one bag on his way to hitter of the game.

Weatherford

Cross Austin came through in the clutch as Game 1 at Weatherford ended in a 9-9 tie between Texas Stix 17U Heitz andBanditos Williams. Austin came to the plate down two runs with one runner on and two outs. Austin then drilled a home run to tie the game up. Austin ended the morning going 2-4 with one double, one home run, and two RBIs. Stix’s Michael Chambers went 2-3 with one double and three RBIs. Both Austin and Chambers were named hitters of the game.

 

 

In Game 2 at Weatherford, Texas Stix 17U Heitz defeated the Columbia Angels, 12-6. Michael Chambers and Ulysses Cantueach had three RBIs for the Stix. Trevor Jurecka went 2-3 with two stolen bases. Jurecka also had two diving catches and was named player of the game.

Brennan Lucas‘ day wasn’t enough as Twelve 16U Silver fell to the Columbia Angels, 6-3, in Game 3 at Weatherford. Lucas went 2-3 with two home runs and three RBIs to pick up hitter of the game. On the mound, Josh Lappas threw two innings and struck out four on his way to pitcher of the game.

DFW Twins Wimpee defeated the Airhogs, 12-2, in Game 4 at Weatherford. Pitcher of the game was Joe Fragano who threw five innings and struck out two with four hits and two runs. Cole Maxwell went 3-3 with three RBIs and Camden Harrisonwent 3-4 with two doubles and three RBIs. Both Maxwell and Harrison were named hitters of the game.

TCU

Game 1 at TCU ended in a 12-4 victory for Twelve Silver over Oklahoma Fuel. Twelve threw five pitchers with Joshua Jiralsticking out the most going two innings and striking out two with zero base runners. Jiral was named pitcher of the game.Zane Hyatt went 3-4 with one double and one RBI. Brandon Holdren went 2-4 with one double and one RBI. Matt Zunigawent 1-3 with one double and two runs scored. Daniel Budke went 2-4 with one double and two RBIs. And Lamar Sparkswent 2-3 with one triple, one double, and three RBIs to pick up hitter of the game.

In Game 2 at TCU, NTXBC Dirtbags shutout Oklahoma Fuel, 6-0. Matthew Espinosa came in relief to throw five innings and strike out four with one hit allowed. Espinosa was named pitcher of the gameHunter Harp and Mason Peterson both went 2-3 with one double and two RBIs each. Jake Pelton went 3-3 with one RBI and was named hitter of the game.

Banditos Williams defeated Dallas Tigers Woods, 6-4, in Game 3 at TCU. Cole Schroeder shut things down as he came in two pitch the final two innings. Schroeder ended up getting the win and was named pitcher of the game. On offense for the Banditos, Jimmy Dermody went 1-2 with two RBIs and one run scored to pick up hitter of the game.

Fort Worth Cats White defeated NTXBC Dirtbags, 15-3, in Game 4 at TCU. For the Cats, Seth Boleman went 3-3 with three runs scored. Reese McDonald went 2-3 with one double, two RBIs, and three runs scored. Andrew Tri went 3-3 with one double, three RBIs, and three runs scored to pick up hitter of the game. On the mound, Matthew Shunk threw four innings and struck out one to pick up pitcher of the game.
