PDC (Meadow Park) Field 1

In Game 1 from PDC (Meadow Park) Field 1, Stix 2022 Eager defeated Dallas Mustangs Wills, 10-2. For the Stix, Grayson Viers went 1-3 with one double, three runs batted in, one run scored and one stolen base. Dj Catalano went 1-2 with one double, two runs batted in, one run scored, and one stolen base. Player of the game was Christopher Kelley. He went 2-3 with one triple (see below) and two runs batted in. He also threw five innings with just as many strikeouts (5) while allowing no earned runs.

Game 2 from PDC (Meadow Park) Field 1 ended in a 3-3 tie between Academy Select Baseball – Hay and Stix 2022 Eager. For Academy Select, Sam Betz went 2-2 with one RBI (see below). For the Stix, Jacob Porter went 2-2 with two runs batted in. Player of the game was Landon Weidner. He went 1-2 with one run scored. In relief, Weidner threw 3.1 no-hit innings striking out just as many (3).

Stix South 14U Red narrowly defeated Dallas Mustangs Wills, 6-5, in Game 3 from PDC (Meadow Park) Field 1. For the Mustangs, Hunter Holt went 1-2 with one triple, one RBI and one run scored. For Stix, Declan Williams went 1-2 with one double and one RBI. Player of the game was Ryne Rodriguez. He threw 2.2 clutch no-hit innings with one strikeout and no earned runs allowed. He also made a great diving play on the mound which you can check out in the video embedded below.

Lubbock Raiders – Kiser beat Academy Select Hay, 8-5, in Game 4 from PDC (Meadow Park) Field 1. For Academy Select, Max Reyes threw three innings with no runs allowed while striking out two. For the Raiders, Coldon Kiser went 2-3 with two doubles. Player of the game was Ethan Guerrero who went 3-3 with one double, one RBI, two runs scored, and one stolen base. Also to note from this game, Academy Select’s Caden Roeschen made a great diving catch in center field. Check that out below.

In Game 5 from PDC (Meadow Park) Field 1Lubbock Raiders – Kiser defeated Stix South 14U Red, 10-3. For Stix, Dylan Darnall went 2-2 with one RBI. For the Raiders, Brandon Boyd went 1-2 with two runs batted in and one run scored. Hitter of the game was Raiders’ Stefano Sanchez. He went 1-1 with one triple (see below), two runs batted in and one run scored. Player of the game was Kyler Jordan. He threw five innings striking out nine. At the plate, he went 2-2 with one double and one run scored.

PDC (Meadow Park) Field 2

In Game 1 from PDC (Meadow Park) Field 2, Texas Blackhawks 14U beat Stix 2022 Bolivar, 4-3. Player of the game was Channing Vernon who went 3-3 with one stolen base. He played great defense in center field showing off his range and making four put outs. Hitter of the game was Pat Robinson. He went 3-3 with two doubles and one run scored.

Dallas Mustangs White blanked Texas Blackhawks 14U, 8-0, in Game 2 from PDC (Meadow Park) Field 2. For the Mustangs, Jake White went 3-3 with one double, two runs batted in, one run scored and three stolen bases. Player of the game was Jett Williams. He went 3-4 with one double, three runs batted in, one run scored, and four stolen bases. Check out Williams below.

In Game 3 from PDC (Meadow Park) Field 2, SPB 14U defeated Stix 2022 Bolivar, 10-9. For SPB, Jake Simpson went 2-3 with one triple and two runs batted in. Seth Brizendine and Garrett Palacio each had a double. Brizendine collected two runs batted in while Palacio had one. And Logan Klein went 2-3 with one RBI and two runs scored. For Stix, Major Youngblood went 2-3 with one double and one run scored. Chase McCall went 3-2 with two doubles and three runs batted in. He was named player of the game for his performance.

Dallas Mustangs White beat Dallas Tigers Holder, 3-1, in Game 4 from PDC (Meadow Park) Field 1. The starting pitchers for each team brought the heat. Tigers LHP Dante Cano started the game throwing 81-83 MPH while touching 84. However, he was outfield by Braedyn Cunningham who threw four innings striking out eight. Cunningham didn’t allow a walk and hit 81 MPH on the radar gun. He was named player of the game. Also to note, Mekhi Betances went 3-3 while Jared White went 2-2 with one run scored. White also threw two innings striking out one with no earned runs allowed.

In Game 5 from DC (Meadow Park) Field 1, Dallas Tigers Holder defeated SPB 14U, 8-5. For SPB, Jacob Ambriz went 2-3 with one double. For the Tigers, Jacob Byrd threw three innings striking out six with no walks. He was named pitcher of the game. Player of the game was Dante Cano. He went 1-2 with one triple, two runs batted in and one run scored.
