Shubert, a University of Houston commit, allowed just two hits and one earned run and was the player of the game. Deundre Jones went 1-4 with a grand slam and was the hitter of the game.

Marucci Elite Texas Carroll 2020 defeated Premier Baseball Futures Mitchell 16U, 10-5, in Game 2 from Adam Dunn Field. Austin Hinson went 2-2 with one triple, one double, one RBI, one run scored, and one walk and was the player of the game.

Houston A’s Gold 16U defeated Premier Baseball Futures Mitchell 16U, 5-4, in Game 3 from Adam Dunn Field. Kaden Kram went 2-2 with one double and three runs batted in and was the player of the game.

Marucci Elite Texas Rodriguez 2019 defeated SETX Mizuno 18U, 7-5, in Game 1 from Baseball USA 1. Chris Vann went 1-1 with one double and three runs batted in. Vann’s game winning hit earned him the player of the game honors. Jacob Mata went 2-3 with one RBI and one run scored.

Marucci Elite Texas Rodriguez 2019 defeated Dynasty Richardson 17U, 10-2, in Game 2 from Baseball USA 1. Drew Madrid struck out six hitters and allowed just two runs on three hits in 5.2 innings of work. Madrid was the player of the game. Chris Vann continued his hot day at the plate going 3-4 with one triple and two runs batted in. Vann was the hitter of the game.

Hardball Cathcart 16U defeated Dulins Dodgers – McBride/Larson, 12-0, in Game 3 from Baseball USA 1. John Scalapino spun a complete game five inning no hitter and was the player of the game. Scalapino struck out five hitters in the shutout effort. Adam Vackar went 1-2 with one triple, three runs batted in, and one walk.

Garrett Ziegler pitched all seven innings allowing just two hits and striking out five hitters in the shutout effort. Ziegler was the player of the game. North Texas Longhorns 16U and Marucci Elite Texas Thames 2020 tied, 6-6, in Game 5 from Baseball USA 10. Ethan Bedgood went 2-4 with one RBI and was the player of the game. Hayde Key was up to 89 MPH and struck out all six hitters he faced in relief. Key, a Texas Tech commit, was the pitcher of the game.

Premier Baseball Futures Evans 17U defeated Hunter Pence Cunningham 17U, 2-1, in Game 1 from Northland Christian. Zach Wall went 3-3 with one double, one RBI, and two runs scored. Wall also pitched a complete game allowing just six hits and one run in his seven innings of work. Wall struck out four hitters and was the player of the game. Kyle Bearden made a great diving catch in the outfield.

Hunter Pence Cunningham 17U tied Prospect United RTG 17U, 2-2, in Game 2 from Northland Christian. Miguel Martinez went 1-3 with one double, one RBI, and one run scored and was the player of the game. Joseph Carbone struck out five hitters and allowed just two hits in three innings of work and was the pitcher of the game. Parker Goerner allowed one hit and struck out two hitters in three innings of work.

Texas Banditos Scout 15U defeated Premier Baseball Futures Nixon 15U, 10-0, in Game 2 from Premier 3. Will Rizzo pitched 3.2 scoreless innings and struck out three hitters en route to being named player of the game. Jon Arredondo went 3-3 with two doubles, three runs batted in, and one run scored and was the hitter of the game.

Mizuno Baseball USA Klein 2022 defeated Premier Baseball Futures Starling 15U, 9-1, in Game 2 from Premier 4. Danny Cruz went 2-2 with one RBI and two runs scored and was the player of the game. Tanner Chelette pitched four innings allowing one run while striking out five hitters. Chelette was the pitcher of the game. Notable players were Cameron Bogan (1-2 with two runs batted in), Justin Vossos (2-3 with one RBI and two runs batted in), and Alex Sinitiere (2-3).

Lubbock Baseball Academy 15U defeated Marucci Elite Texas McDaniel 2021, 7-5, in Game 3 from Premier 4. Trent Hefner pitched six innings and struck out six hitters. Austin Ziegler struck out eight hitters in four innings while allowing just two earned runs. Ziegler was the pitcher of the game. Other notables were McCrae Wiest (up to 88 MPH, allowed just one hit and run in four innings while striking out six) and Connor Ethridge (2-3 with one RBI).

Premier Baseball Futures Starling 15U defeated Marucci Elite Texas McDaniel 2021, 12-2, in Game 1 from Premier 5. Kyle Winkler went 3-4 with two doubles, four runs batted in, and one stolen base and was the player of the game. Andrew Orr struck out three hitters in two perfect innings of work and was the pitcher of the game.  Jonathon Valdez went 2-2 with two runs batted in, one run scored, and one stolen base.

Marucci Elite Texas Biggers 2021 defeated Houston A’s 15U, 12-0, in Game 2 from Premier 5. Isaac Garcia struck out six hitters and allowed two hits in five scoreless innings of work. Garcia was the player of the game. Cam Cauley went 2-4 with one RBI and made three great plays at shortstop.

Texas Twelve Maroon 15U defeated Dulins Dodgers – Gelnar 15U, 11-1, in Game 3 from Premier 5. Austin Ford struck out three hitters and allowed zero runs or hits in four innings of work. Ford was the player of the game. Ben Bosse went 1-1 with one double and two runs batted in and was the hitter of the game. Other solid performers were Will Stark (2-2 with one run scored), Jarrett Young (2-3 with one double, one run scored, and one walk) and Clayton Keeling (1-3 with one double, one RBI, and two runs scored).

Dulins Dodgers TX Prime 2022 tied  Texas Twelve Gold 15U, 2-2, in Game 5 from Premier 6. Josh Livingston struck out six hitters and allowed just one run in five innings on the mound. Livingston was the player of the game.

Hunter Pearce Heard 16U tied Premier Baseball Futures Millan 17U, 2-2, in Game 1 from Premier 7. Braden Sebesta allowed just one hit in four scoreless innings pitched. Sebesta struck out four hitters and was the player of the game.

Marucci Elite Texas Thistlethwaite 2019 defeated PBA Stars 17U, 9-0, in Game 2 from Premier 7. Ross Selvaggi went 3-3 with one double and four runs batted in and was the player of the game. Cade Moulton pitched four innings allowing zero earned runs, three hits, and two strikeouts. Moulton was the pitcher of the game. Xavier Lovett went 2-4 with three runs scored and one stolen base.

Hunter Pence Calhoun 16U defeated Houston A’s Black 16U, 3-2, in Game 4 from Premier 8. Rhett McCaffety went the distance, giving up just two earned runs while striking out eight hitters in seven innings of work. McCaffety was the player of the game. Jackson Blue went 2-2 with one RBI which occured on his walk-off single. Blue was the hitter of the game.

Houston A’s Black 16U defeated Action Baseball Garcia 16U, 2-1, in Game 5 from Premier 8. Ethan Siegel struck out eight hitters in 6.1 innings of work on the mound. Siegel allowed just four hits and two runs and was the player of the game. Jordan Morales hit a walk-off single.

Rosehill

Premier Baseball Futures Mathis 16U defeated Marucci Elite Texas Teykl 2020, 2-1, in Game 1 from Rosehill. Anthony Rivenbark struck out seven hitters and allowed just three hits in his seven innings on the mound. Rivenbark allowed just the one run and was the player of the game. Jarrett Tadlock struck out five hitters and allowed just three hits and two runs in five innings of work. Monray Van der Walt went 1-3 with one home run.

Premier Baseball Futures Mathis 16U defeated Dynasty Lewis 16U, 5-1, in Game 2 from Rosehill. Josh Hill was a two way threat and was the player of the game. Hill went 2-2 with one home run, two runs batted in, two runs scored, and one walk. On the mound he picked up the save for his scoreless 7th inning pitched. Clayton Miller allowed zero runs in five innings of work and was the pitcher of the game. Miller allowed four hits and struck out three hitters.

Dallas Mustangs 2020 defeated Marucci Elite Texas Teykl 2020, 12-2, in Game 3 from Rosehill. Brannen Blakley went 2-2 with one double, two runs batted in, three runs scored, and one walk and was the player of the game. Alex Smith went 1-2 with one double and two runs batted in. Calvin Turrell went 3-3 with three runs batted in. Ryan Taylor struck out five hitters and allowed five hits in five innings of work. Taylor only allowed one earned run.

Dynasty Lewis 16U defeated Dallas Mustangs 2020, 7-5, in Game 4 from Rosehill. Nathan Becker went 1-3 with one home run, two runs batted in, two runs scored, and two stolen bases. Becker also picked up the save in relief allowing zero hits and striking out two in two innings of work. Becker was the player of the game. Even Odaniel struck out four hitters in 2.2 innings pitched. Odaniel allowed just two hits and zero earned runs.
